I felt welcomed, and the staff was attentive but never intrusive. The menu is a combination of dishes from regions throughout Thailand. I recommend Basil Fried Rice and Tom Kha Kai. The Thai tea was spot-on, enhancing the entire meal.

Having worked in a "mom and pop" Thai restaurant as a sous chef, my expectations of this place was high. Unfortunately, it was dashed. The Pad-See-Ew had some flavor, but was not caramalized enough. The fried rice, while a lot, was tremendously lacking in ingredients. The lunch special - the curry had a good flavor, but the Pad Thai was plain noodles and was bland, to say the least. The waitress was not very pleasant and was rushing us to order. The fried egg rolls were okay.

Overall, I would NOT recommend this place at all.

While the portion of the Drunken Noodle and Teriyaki Chicken we ordered were smaller than other restautants, the flavors were on point. And like some customers have suggested, if you enjoy their Iced Thai Tea, order the bottled version as you get about 2.5 servings. Service was prompted but that's probably because we were the only customers right when they opened at 11am. Nevertheless, we enjoy the food and ambience in this hole-in-the-wall establishment that has been around for many years now.

Low cost buffet available weekdays lunchtimes. Lots of menu choices, I've never been disappointed by the food. Sometimes short staffed on weekends which can lead to slow service.

I pick up delivery 🚚 orders from this location and I saw 🪚 a sign 🛑 that said "VEGETARIANS ARE WELCOMED" I want to go back 🔙

I have been eating here for YEARS....and their panang curry was the best in town. Now, they water their curry down SO much there is absolutely NO taste to it. It's no longer creamy--its literally WATER-BASED and terrible! This will be THE LAST time I spend money here!!! I will go to Panang Curry from now on.

There is a coupon out there from "Abenity" through better health insurance. Sala Thai was nice enough to honor the coupon the one time.

I will ask for 4/5 stars instead of 3/5, which was not spicy enough for me, but they bring chili pepper if you'd like.

So the food is good we have ordered several times however this time I found a long hair in my rice. After looking through my rice some more I notices several strains of hair all in my rice. I ended up having to throw away my whole order and have Uber eats refund me my meal.

this is an elegant thai dining experience. the ambiance is calm and immaculately balanced. one feels at peace inside due to the buddhist decor that promotes peaceful feeling. i was a bit confused about the curry. we had fried spring rolls for appetizer and the small portion only had 3 spring rolls. i had red curry with chicken and it wasnt red in terms of color. my girlfriend had curry also albeit a different type and it was more red than my curry. i asked for 2/5 spiciness and it wasnt spicy at all it was actually very mild in flavor. her curry was 3/5 spiciness and it hardly had any spiciness. the menu was so well written we were expecting a major culinary experience but to my surprise the food was rather underwhelming. both our curry had watery consistency and i am not sure if this is the standard for thai curry. japanese curry is like gravy except thicker in viscosity. indian curry is also thicker in viscosity. strangely the curry here is watery and thin. i enjoyed the dining experience but nothing really impressed me when it comes to the food. the decor and ambiance is five stars and service equally elegant.

I’ve ordered take out and eaten in the restaurant twice and they have never disappointed me! The wait staff is very helpful and friendly and the service is quick but not too quick that the food comes out wrong/bad. I have always gotten exactly what I wanted so it is the perfect place to go if you want good Thai food quickly!

Food was ok, but menu is already limited, and they don't even actually offer large portions of the menu. Food and tea were instant, not very authentic. Portions are incredibly small, especially for the price. Seriously, I am not a big eater anymore and it would take two meals to actually be full. The portion size is adequate for small children, maybe 6-10 years old.

Staff was very friendly and attentive, though. Perfect service.

No one from the restaurant could tell me a signature dish for which can be a most popular dish. They could not suggest a noodle, rice or seafood dish either. No Dish they can suggest for a visiting tourist. Service quality was mediocre to bad and staff was borderline impolite. I will not recommend this place for any one at all. They charge for everything even a paper bag, just ridiculous. Their menu says tiger prawn, squid, fried basa etc for seafood dish. Check the photos below showing salad shrimps instead of tiger prawns no other seafood in sight, few random fried fish pieces. Dry pad Thai, very low quality and unhygienic food. Oil smells stale and food microwaved old stock.They need to be inspected by authorities for misrepresenting dish descriptions in the menu and unhygienic food. Just too low in scale to compare with any other restaurants even in this area. Avoid this place at all the cost. Hands down worst restaurant.

My wife and I eat here regularly. She really enjoys the Chicken Mama and I enjoy the Sala Thai Fried Rice. They are always friendly and polite. They have wonderful Edamame.

First time here today and I just gotta say I'm absolutely blown away. Every single food item that I tried on the buffet was amazing. Everything was hot and fresh and being refilled constantly. The servers were amazing and were on top of our every need. All the staff were kind and helpful. I can't wait to come here again. I can't wait to bring all my friends here. I can't believe this is my first time here!. Everyone has to go here at least once. The place was busy but not too busy. You could tell this is a loved local spot.

This is by far one of the best Thai places in OKC. We had the drunken noodles and pad Thai and they were both delicious. Also, their prices are super reasonable.

I absolutely love Sala Thai. The interior is adorable and reminds me of times I spent in Thailand. The curry is on point and I love that they have fresh spring rolls with tofu. Definitely my “go to” when I don’t feel like cooking or just am craving Thai food!

Although the portions were a bit smaller than I'd expected for the price, the food was delicious and every bit worth it. Living in a town with the nearest Thai restaurant too far to drive to, it was so exciting to be in the area and find such a relaxed, lovely little place. We got to seat ourselves, which I always appreciate. Not only were the Drunken Noodles (spice level 2) perfectly tasty, but also the appetizer was visually appealing. If I am nearby in the future, I plan to return.

Honestly this is the most disgusting food I've ever had the displeasure of tasting. The food stinks and I will never come back. I will tell everyone I know, and random people, to never order food from here.

0 stars, walked in, stared at as if we were not welcomed, were not greeted, the server looked at as w disdain, we had to ask to be seated as the server looked at us w disdain and confusion. I had to ask her "do you have any servers?" She snapped out of her frozen state, leas us to a table in the very back... I'm reviewing as I'm sitting here in observation of how 2 other parties were greeted and accommodated immediately. Unfortunately these people have issues with implicit bias, possibly blatant racism.

Today I went for lunch and forgot to order it with extra sauce. When the woman took the food out she recognized me and went out of her way to go get me extra sauce from remembering pst orders without me even asking!!! It was so sweet

I don't have a wide variety of cuisine in my dining out. Chinese take-out is about the most exotic thing I do. However, a family member brought me here several years ago and it is fantastic! We go pretty basic, with fried rice and pad Thai. My fellow diners love the curries. I always overhear people telling staff this is the best Thai place. I love the atmosphere. Casual, but also elegant and homey, all at the same time. Try it!

This is one of the few restaurants that will make my husband's meal hot enough. On a heat scale of 1 to 10, he likes a good 30! Also, they never make my meal too hot. Very lucky to have them available for good, fresh and flavorful Thai food.

Great service and food. My drink was refilled quickly and my food was brought out in timely manner. The food is always cooked exceptionally well. All the appetizers are delicious. The soups and salads are great. All the curries are amazing and the pad Thai is the best in the area. I have yet to order something I haven't liked.

i have been here 1 time, they do everything well. But the last 3 times their service is not very good, I asked about lunch they all said it was 13:00. They also didn't bring the menu back to lunch until I asked. saw little money so didn't want to serve much, I think. I wanted to come often but now it might be a while before I come back

Sala Thai has consistently good food. There is a slight language problem at times but the quality of their dishes more than makes up for that. The server always asks what heat level is desired and the dish is adjusted accordingly. Highly recommended.

The interior was really cute, nothing like i was expecting from the outside. The staff were courteous and helpful in picking out vegan options. I ordered the Thai basil with tofu and vegetables, ordered level 5 on the spice. It was really fresh and great taste but not spicy enough for me. We will definitely go back and order extra spicy on their food.

Vegan options. I got the Summer rolls with tofu and red curry with tofu. Told the waitress I was vegan and she said they would put only coconut milk, spices, and curry in it. Was really good. Definitely would go back.
