Absolutely delicious! I had the drunken woman and the fried shrimp and vegetable tempura. The portions were great, the price was low, and everything was so flavorful, hot, and delicious. Our food was amazing however the server (gentleman- Ratan K) was absolutely terrible! We were the only table dining-in on a Tuesday evening (party of three!). The guy only came to our table with drinks, to take food order, and bring out the food. We constantly had to shout across the restaurant to get his attention to bring us plates, napkins, and water!
Then he automatically charged us 21% in gratuity with only party of three!!! When I asked him about it, his response was “oh, I didn’t know. Let me take it off”. So BE CAREFUL!
Once again, great food but check your bill for gratuity charged based on the service you were provided.

I spent a couple years in Thailand as a child and grew up eating Thai food. I've moved around a lot, and everywhere I go, I always look for a great Thai restaurant. Now that we've settled in Dayton, this is my go-to Thai restaurant. The service is perfect, and the food is delicious.

A pleasant surprise! The food is great. The spice level is 1-4 and very flavorful. This was my first time, but I will return.

Tried the spicy green beans with shrimp and really enjoyed them. Good sized portions (I took some home). Service was excellent. I will definitely return.

The food is decent when they get the order correct, but that seems to happen infrequently. Ate in once and the order got screwed up, multiple carry out orders incorrect filled incorrectly, and most recently a simply Pad Thai DoorDash order that could not be fulfilled AFTER the dasher was there.

I have been here so many times and the place is amazing. The waiter is excellent the food is amazing. The tea is delicious. We always get 2 pots of hot tea. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it's always been delicious. I recommend this place to everyone.

Not only is this my favorite restaurant in town, but it's also my favorite place to pick food up from when I am delivering for door dash. The owners are amazing and super friendly. Food is always FAST and fresh. Once I had an out of town guest and we ordered for delivery through door dash which didn't give much options for customization. My friend left a great review for them and mentioned he would like to be able to leave out some ingredients. Next time we ordered, the options were there. Thank you!!

Amazing find! The best Thai I have had living in Cincy/Dayton area. It is evident the family cares very much for their business and customers. Utterly spotless, the menus even looked as though constructed fresh for every patron. The food was spot on, and well portioned. I had the green curry and my son ordered a noodle soup meal. If I could award Michelin stars, this place would have seen its first one today!

Spouse had the Pad Thai and loved it. I had a stir fry but was disappointed in lack of sauce or gravy, which made the dish less flavorful and dry. We will try it again, but will ask for more next time...just wish that wasn't necessary.

The food was very very good. We had Tom Yum Chicken soup that was very good but I had them make it at medium spice and it was pretty spicy. My son had Phad Thai and liked it alot. I had the Drunken Men and it was perfectly made. My wife had the tender beef sizzling platter that was amazing. Service was very quick and drinks were always full.

Best Tom Yum soup!

First time enjoying Thai Silver Spoon yesterday for lunch. They have a great lunch menu and have a lunch special for a $1 fountain drink with an entree. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, and basil fried rice. All three dishes were amazing and well priced. My husband and I finished all three entrees with a little help from our 14 month old who liked the food as well.
My only suggestion to them would be to get the condiment caddy. I need my green chilis when having my Thai food.
Other than that, my family and I will be returning to try other items on the menu. Perhaps we will try the curries next.

Tried this place for the first time tonight, not feeling impressed enough to come back. The appetizer sampler was a good value, but nothing memorable other than the sweet and sour sauce (which I imagine is homemade). The bourbon chicken was fairly dry and had no sauce or bourbon flavor whatsoever, and the fried rice was mediocre and was more of a Chinese-style with the carrot bits and peas. The Pad Kra Pow was alright, but nothing special and has been beaten by other Thai restaurants. I got the highest spice level for both entrées and was desperately wishing for more, which altogether delivers a not-so-traditional Thai experience that is Americanized and better suited for beginners to the cuisine.

The food was excellent, but I was rather unhappy with our portion sizes. We paid $15 a meal for dinner and received containers barely half full. I could see the portion we were served being a $10 lunch portion, but simply not enough for a $15 dinner.

Hands down the best authentic Thai in the area. Tom Kha soup is amazing and addictive, spring rolls full, pad Thai seasoned perfectly. Must try the Thai tea with your spicy dish. This has been our favorite date night location for 3 years now. Servers take excellent care of you. The Sticky Rice is a must have as a desert!!

Worst food ever! Got rubbery bourbon chicken with NO SAUCE! Barely any flavor and asked for extra chicken but got just a half rice/half chicken. The pad Thai chicken was ok but the chicken was again rubbery. Lots of connective tissue as well. Also got "fried banana" that looked like it was from a grocery store or frozen by the way it was packaged. Wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. Inside was a green and brown mess. For a whopping $60, it should have been way better! Gave 1 star because I can't give 0!

This is our favorite restaurant in the area

The food here was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Thai green curry, Pad Thai of course, Basil Shrimp fried rice, Beef fried rice and some appetizers so you can see we sampled a bit of everything. Every order has a slightly different spice level to complicated things more but let me tell you, they hit every spice level perfectly.
I highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent customer service to top this off as I was regularly checked on.
Only one bit of advice, since they are good so they are busy. Be prepared to be patient for your food.

The restaurant is clean, the service is fantastic, and the food is delicious. But what really sets this restaurant apart for me is the amazing tap water. If I had to drink water from one restaurant for the rest of my life I would choose Thai Silver Spoon in a heartbeat. It pairs perfectly with the wonton soup. :)

I'm so frustrated with this restraunt. I live over an hour away and placed an order togo because I was in the area. I had ordered the drunken women noodles and never got them. I recieved some other dish which isn't even near the same flavor or same noodle. Don't order togo!

Great food, not cheap.

This place has always been delicious but I first experience them going above and beyond tonight and I wanted to share. We have a recently developed egg allergy in our house and were disappointed when we realize how many thai items have egg. So before I ordered via Grubhub, I called to see if we could get dishes without egg. The person on the phone told me i could put that online when i ordered but also took my name to be on the lookout to ensure it was correct when the order came in. I placed my order and specified no egg and then a few minutes later the man from the restaurant called and verified with me which dishes needed no egg. Our dinner came and it was perfect and as always delicious. That was an above and beyond thing for him to so and we appreciate it very much. Highly recommend and the food is AMAZING!

i ordered strawberry bubble tea for my friend and i, and it was delicious but the problem was the boba at the bottom was literally rock hard. it’s supposed to be popping boba but it was literally not even chewy or soft, it was as hard as a rock and was really unpleasant.

horribly rude customer service. Old guy with the ponytail was extremely disrespectful. He constantly forgets items and hastily prepares the food leaving imperfection. Do not order to-go from here. Their bags ALWAYS rip and he can't even package the food completely, causing it to spill out in the bag and leave a ridiculous amount of food gone to waste. They are only out for a quick buck and don't care about to-go customers, let alone customers in general. AVOID this restaurant. There are MANY Better options nearby that are well worth your time. Just don't buy from here.

We ordered through door dash and had a little problem. Thai Silver Spoon was so very nice and helpful. We finally recieved our order and it was hot and delicious.

My husband and I try to come once a month. We love it here! We are vegetarians and enjoy the drunken man with tofu and the pad see lew with tofu. The staff are friendly and very attentive.

I see a trend in the poor reviews from thai silver spoon and after reading the reviews I had a similar experience, so me and my nephew got sat place was empty did take about 35 minute to get 1 hot pot soup and chicken pad thai, then guess what we find a spider in our hot pot soup, at that point obviously we not going to eat it, we confront the waitress and they looked at it and not only did they agree it was, they said sorry these things happen... and they walked around a bit asked how the food was... what? Are you kidding I said please take that away we dont want nor do we eat spiders, then same thing walked around talking and then they hand us a check at full price... what in God's earth like really??? So I nicely approached and was like why are charging us for the soup there was a spider in it... in the end we got like 25 percent off like wow I was about to just walk out and not pay anything, but I paid and I left the sever a 18 percent tip based on the full price of the original order and she looked at us like we were wrong, again. Wow poor service and rude, I been working in restaurants for 12 years that soup would been taken off the bill immediately, anyhow dont expect any discounts from them if something wrong with your food unless you argue with them for 10 minutes

I'm a bit of a Thai connoisseur and I can say hands down this is my favorite Thai place within 30 miles (house of Thai in Beavercreek is a good one too).

Things I HIGHLY recommend :

1) crispy pad thai (ask for peanuts and lime!)
2) pad see iew
3) panang curry (chicken in awesome sauce over rice)
4) cashew nut chicken

Edit: had a pretty rude and disrespectful experience here just now. I placed a carry out order for 7:21 pm. I got an email at 6:32 pm saying my order was ready for pickup. I arrive at 7:20 pm to find my order ready to go by the counter with the ticket saying it was made an hour ago. The food is barely warm to the touch but the man keeps saying it just came out of the back. I don't argue because they are my favorite Thai place. I check out my food in the car and it's not even the right meal! I walk back in ask about the meal. The guy opens up my food and says "yeah this isn't the crispy pad thai". He carries it to the back of the restaurant and comes back out saying this is how they make it no and hands it back to me. I ask about why the food is cold and the receipt says it was ready for pick up an hour early and he says the food is hot and there is no problem.

I didn't bother asking for a refund because I liked them up until this point but I can no longer recommend them and won't be returning.

We really enjoyed our visit. The food was served hot and was quite flavorful. The portions were nicely sized. The service was friendly and attentive while being non intrusive. We could tell the owners have pride in their restaurant - everything was clean and maintained. Of all the Thai places in the region, Thai Silver Spoon is in our top three. We'll be back soon.

This little gem of a restaurant is hidden in the middle of Springboro. There is never a wait and the staff are extremely nice. The pad thai is amazing with so many choices from level of spice to meat choices (duck included) to veggies.

Food = 5 STARS. But they get 3 stars for 1) phone doesn't work half the time 2) inconsistent spice levels (sometimes their 1 can be a 2 and their 2 can be a 5 0.0) and 3) they are slow. Whether you order enough for 1 person or 6, whether the restaurant has any customers in it at all or zero tables, it always takes them 30+ minutes to complete a pick-up order. They spend too much time trying to figure out great store hours (which keep changing) instead of doing what really brings the customers in: coupon specials (like half-price on Wednesdays or something!), a reliable phone line, and some measurable amount of consistency. On the topic of nitpickiness, and I'm only writing this because I hope they read these reviews and because they are so tasty I want them to succeed, they could stand to liven up the place a little. It's usually chilly and dark and there's only 1 staffperson standing at the front so it just feels dead when you walk in. Anyhow, this is still one of my favorite places and my family goes here a ton so I hope they improve some of these areas!

Amazing food! Quiet place. Great place for a date night or for dinner out with the family. Staff is very friendly. Can't recommend this place enough.

Their food is always delicious, dine in or carry out.

Food is always good but they are never on time. Probably 50% of the time I have to wait significantly longer than they say on the phone. Tonight the wait was supposed to be 25 minutes. Ended up being 70 minutes. Crab rangoons were cold. Entrees good but not great. Bummer.

Red Curry Spicy 4!

This is my favorite local Thai restaurant. Me and my wife are not very adventurous so we always get the Pad Thai. It is always delicious. She usually gets a 1 spicy and I get a 3. Just enough to add a kick without making the meal unenjoyable.
