We offer a variety of favorite dishes from Thailand, prepared with the leanest possible cuts of beef, poultry or pork and delicately balanced with vegetables, herbs and spices. Our dishes are prepared without MSG and minimized the use of oil and salt, without compromising flavor. In addition, dishes may be prepared according to preference, upon request.
Most beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious Thai Food on the east side! Highly recommend getting any of their bubble tea drinks flavors (you can also get it without bubbles). Just FYI they come in blended ice slushy form so it stays nice and cold throughout your dinner experience.
Chicken Satay, Tom Kar Gai, and Pad Thai (or Pad See Yu) is a must here if you're visiting for the first time.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the area (which we found a bit surprising at first, given its unassuming location at the end of a strip of shopping malls in suburbia)! Everything served at Peppermint is fresh and packed full of flavor. Special shoutouts go to their deeply savory chicken satay, their rich and pungent curries, and their fried noodle dishes where sweet and salty and nutty and chewy flavors all mingle together in a magnificent balance.
The staff meanwhile are all super friendly and helpful, the space is warm and welcoming, and while thereβs usually a crowd during peak hours, the table turnaround time is decently quick so wait times are reasonable.
Nota bene for extreme πΆοΈchili loversπΆοΈ - while the menu has spice options from 0 (no spice) to 5 (Thai hot), the kitchen will go even hotter! You can ask for a heat level up to 100! I found 15 to be pleasurably painful, while 20 was about the limit above which I would have needed a few pints of coconut ice cream. You have been warned.
First time I went! The food was great and service was amazing. Very close to authentic Thai cuisine with a nice ambience in the restaurant. Decent portion that won't leave you feeling bloated and I appreciate them offering different spice levels. Flexible with taking out/adding ingredients from the dishes to satisfy your taste. All decently priced for what you get, worth every penny. Ordered Chicken Satay (not pictured), Pad See Ew, Crazy Noodles, and Mango and Sticky Rice for dessert. Chicken Satay was not the best I've had but flavor profiles were there. Both noodle dishes were cooked to perfection and the mango and sticky rice was refreshing. Definitely will be going back to try their other dishes.
The tom kha soup was some of the best ive had. The sticky rice was good as well. The only complaint i have is the thai tea had a weird taste. Would definitely come back for the soup.
I had visited this place and ordered vegetable fried rice and a noodle. As I am used to spicy food, I had clearly mentioned that I need the highest level for which the waitress showed the menu, where it had three stars (***) and for the noodles, she was told to have medium, which she had said two stars (**). She wasn't treating us with any smile but the items came so quickly and the fried rice looked very plain, with a very few vegetables and had no Soy Sauce on it. When I called her and complained that it is NOT at all spicy, the waitress gave an ODD look and said she will bring some thing to make it spicy. After waited for 7-8 minutes, she brought a small plastic container with some CHILLY powder..! I thought of having a great food on a festival day but this restaurant spoiled the mood and the evening. When she came for the bill I raised my concern but she never even apologized but argued that I had told only a SINGLE STAR spice level and advised me next time I must ask for a level MORE THAN what is printed on the menu. AWFUL service, guys..! Keep away if you like to have a good spicy Thai food. I could not choose minus # for the rating as there is no any option
Best Thai food I ever had..

I'm a frequent flyer so the know when I call!! Peppermint fried rice for the win!!
I have tried about 60% of the menu and I have enjoyed every single thing. Prices are reasonable, food is pretty and delicious, service is fast and friendly..need I say more?
Stopped in for a late dinner and everything was perfect.

More than just great food, this family owned restaurant is a priceless jewel in the Cleveland cuisine scene!
My favorite Pad Thai on the East Side of Cleveland. Lots of other good stuff, too.
Very high quality and tasty food!
Very calming when you walk in from the water fountain and Buddha at the entrance
Love the ambiance and the decorations to show their heritage and culture. Food is good with variety of options for vegetarian to substitute for meat. Good amount of spicies and taste. Give yourself time as it is a Very busy place.

Excellent food and value!
Food tasty but just lukewarm. Soup had to be heated up arrived very late. Asked for tea and never showed up
Our waitress was hurried, did not smile, or check on us, and overall lacked professionalism. After taking our order, she bolted to the kitchen leaving the menus. Took plates away too early. The summer roll was the best item - very fresh and peanut sauce was perfect, the wings and shumai were good too. The entrees of eggplant & shrimp dish and the wide noodles were bland and undistinguished. Thai coffee were overly sweet without a rich coffee flavor. Diverse crowd seemed very happy. And the space was light and airy. But the food fell short of what we crave when seeking glorious Thai food. Can't say i'd go back anytime soon.
What a delightful fine! Food was fantastic and service was exceptional! Definitely will be returning.
Amazing

Food was terrible!
Peppermint is very popular in our area. The food is very good and moderately spicy. The service on general is very good, but sometimes there is a long waiting time (I guess that comes with the popularity). Highly recommend!
I ordered takeout while I was traveling on 03Mar. I like extra salt in my food so I requested for salt packets. They said they donβt provide that. I asked if they can give me a small side from the kitchen and they refused. Thats absurd response for an easy request. Never ordering again from this silly place. 0 marks for service.
My go-to weekly Thai take out. The absolute best, most consistent, and tasty Thai food in all of Cleveland. I could not function without them. And Chin is the kindest!
This is hands down the best thai food in all of Cleveland! Absolutely delicious food. I always start with spring rolls or crab sticks, the tom kha soup is a must have. Pad thai and curry dishes are always superb! The staff works very well together and very friendly. The management is always on the floor walking around making sure everyone is taken care of. This is a very well run establishment and very clean inside! I've been to this location 4 times this month!
We ordered carry out, service was excellent, but the prices were much higher than other similar Thai places and the food was sadly bland
Itβs too bad there is no option for online ordering. Unable to get through on the phone many times during dinner hrs and go elsewhere. Must lose quite a bit of business
Wonderfull!! The place is very welcoming, staff were all very pleasent, the environment was great. We had the chili duck and the phad thai, not a scrap of food was left when we were done. The duck was not too spicy, perfectly crispy, and tender. The server came back multiple times to check on us, the service was amazing even with a nearly full place. Food was quick to come out as well!!
Great food and service
Have been a long-time customer but hadn't been to peppermint in over two years prior to Friday evening. The atmosphere and service are still great, but unfortunately, the food was not quite as good as I remember. The food my girlfriend received was a bit on the bland side, and unfortunately, it's not a word often associated with Thai food.
OK Thai food. Some of the dishes needed slight improvement, namely:
1. The sauce for the lemon grass chicken was more bland than we're used to and there wasn't enough of it.
2. The crazy noodles were a bit too oily.
3. The shrimp shumai could be improved a bit by incorporating some roasted bits of garlic & ginger.
Duck choo chi was very good. Asked for more sauce though because it was so good. And the mango mousse cake was light and delish. Great way to do a Jewish Christmas day.
I enjoyed my favorites here: summer
rolls, Tom Yum Goong soup, & Coventry Road Madness. Simply fabulous! My daughter & our friend loved their selections. Service was crisp, friendly, and the food hot, just freshly prepared. Perfectly delicious.
I always come to this place and typically is okay. Today I had a complaint to our server that the pad Thai was very sweet, more than it typically is. I always order pad Thai at any Thai place I go to, so I understand it is meant to be a little sweet. The server proceeded to lecture me on how "this is how it is made" as if I didn't already know. Didn't even offer other options after I told her I come here often and this is not how it usually is. she was very rude and dismissive. All my friends who were with me tried the food as well and also noted it was too sweet, and seeing our servers reaction they were all upset.
After I left I called the manager, and all he had to say was that "thank for letting me know" even after I told him I will not be coming back, he was almost laughing. Now, I used to be a server AND a manger at a restaurant for 10 years, and I know this is not how restaurant customer service is handled. Horrible service, subpar food, will not be going again. Not that they care if their customers enjoyed their experience or not.
I have been going to this restaurant to eat in for years and it has been one of my favorites. During co-vid I came often to take out. Always excellent. Posted great reviews, My wife and I had take out tonight and the vegetables in both dishes were barely cooked, crunchy like they were thrown in without stirfry. Somethingβs up. When I called to ask, they said, next time, ask for the vegetables to be well done! That was insulting. Had to finish cooking it in our own wok! You shouldnβt have to tell a chef how to cook a dish. Iβve had a couple odd incidents with this restaurant over the years, like when I found a corner remnant of a plastic bag from the kitchen in my soup, but sh-t happens, and the food always tasted good. They insist they do not have a new chef, but we think they are probably cooking the dishes in haste for lack of staff. Others who are having this experience should post. Or avoid takeout. They didnβt even offer any apologies or consideration. If we had eaten in, the waiter wouldβve noticed or we could have sent it back! We paid almost $40 to end up finishing the cooking.
Very nice venue, my shrimp / veggie green curry and spinach pot stickers were so good. Nice people working there. Only wish they had waited to serve my entree after my app.
Decent food, among other dishes we ordered lamb chops and they were perfect cooked. Overall, the food met expectations without standing out.
Great place. Food service top notch
I adore the restaurant's decor. As you walk in, you're greeted by a captivating piece of driftwood art, and Thai-inspired decorations throughout.
The ambiance is truly welcoming, striking a perfect balance between intimacy and spaciousness.
The cuisine is a delightful blend of delicious flavors, and the presentation is a work of art. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly efficient.
However, it's worth noting that this dining experience leans on the pricier side, but the overall quality and atmosphere make it well worth it.
Peppermint Thai has solidified itself as my favorite Thai restaurant in the Cleveland area. While there can be wait times to get a table at peak hours, the service is always incredibly fast, particularly at lunch time if you're looking for a good place for a business meeting lunch. The food is consistent and always good. Everything is cooked to perfection and full of flavor, and the menu accommodates picky eaters as much as adventurous eaters. They are fantastic about any modifications you may have to an order, and have never messed up a modification for dine in or carry out. And while I always prefer dining in to carry out food, their carry outs still taste excellent. I can't tell you how well the food reheats as leftovers because I never have anything left to keep.
It's disappointing when a waiter asks for a better tip which by the way as a customer I have provided a generous tip. This made the overall dining experience very uncomfortable. While the food and atmosphere were satisfactory, such incidents can certainly leave a negative impression. It's important for restaurants to prioritize professionalism among their staff to ensure a pleasant dining experience for all customers.
We ordered out from Peppermint this evening. My husband went to pick it up.
When he was walking in the our hall, the take-out bag ripped open from the bottom. The contents spilled in the hallway. Food fell out and our dinner was on the floor.
The management at Peppermint is not customer friendly. He proceeded to tell us
that this was our fault. It was in their restaurant takeout bag. He wanted us to bring the food on floor back. Eggs for dinner.
First time trying it, got take out. Coming from Chicago we were looking for a dependable Thai place in the Cleveland suburbs. We found it here. Accommodated low sodium variation too. Just did the staples Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, excited to try more on their menu when we return.
Consistently great restaurant! I love getting takeout from Peppermint Thai. The vegetable fried rice and vegetable Pad Thai are my two favorite dishes that I order almost every time. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend this Thai restaurant!
Delicious flavorful food.
So good.
Food was great and they are very friendly . I will be going back
This was my first time there . Love it
This is a unique Thai restaurant with exotic atmosphere, impressive food, reasonably price and decent service. The duck, my favorite, was juicy and crispy with a wonderful sweet chili Thai sauce. Red curry was decent and mixed with milk product and various boiled vegetables.
My very favorite Thai restaurant! I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy. Thanks again.
Food and service always awesome!
Only rated food as we did carry out. Everything we had was excellent!
The seafood coconut soup - fantastic!! Highly recommend this Thai restaurant!
Perfect
They charged 20% tips by default even we only have 4 people. I questioned why. They said βthis is our policyβ. This is so bad. I believed that the tip amount should be depended on the customers instead of the restaurant!
I love their food and the service.
We went for dinner tonight. The food was just like any other Thai place. What spoiled the experience was that they added a 20% gratuity by default in the receipt. We were just a family of four, not even a big group. When I questioned why, the supervisor said βyou have to pay this tip, that is the policyβ. When I told her how much to tip is upto the customer & shouldnβt be demanded, she first refused but later printed the receipt with just the cost of the food plus sales tax. As she brought the receipt back, she said βI hope you know how to tipβ before handing me the receipt. That was very rude. My husband still tipped well, but we decided not to go back to this place.
Great experience first time they're found the food very refreshing the atmosphere is fantastic I would recommend it highly to family and friends
My daughter and I had a wonderful dining experience recently at Peppermint Thai Cuisine! This was my first time there and her second. The decor was so welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this cute restaurant!
we used to get take out from here for lunch at our office, it was wonderful, but, they no longer do lunch, which is a shame.
You pay for the atmosphere, the food is on par with other local Thai restaurants. One of our glasses broke, and they were very kind about it and quick to clean it up, although they didnβt offer to replace the beverage.
Really good Thai food
Just ate here today with my wife. I had the Pad See - U which is broad noodles with shrimp and chicken. It was incredible. I like spicy food so our waiter suggested βmediumβ spice and he was spot on. Canβt wait to return for this dish.
My wife is not an adventurous eater and ordered teriyaki salmon with mixed veggies and rice. Her meal was very good.
The prices are very reasonable and the menu selection should please anyoneβs taste buds. But if you are looking for authentic Thai food then this is the place for you.
Update: weβre now at spice level 3 and itβs amazing. The summer rolls and crab stick appetizers are delicious. Top notch place!
Food was delicious as always, service was slow, but server was pleasant.
Never had Thai food. The food, service, atmosphere, and price was excellent. We will be back.
Add 20% without asking , we are only 2 people . Itβs not even a group. I usally tip 20%. But without asking itβs rude and unprofessional. Would not come back
If you're looking for delicious, authentic Thai food in the area, Peppermint Thai Cuisine is the place to go! From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is full of mouth-watering options, ranging from classic dishes like Pad Thai and Green Curry to lesser-known gems like Larb and Panang Curry. Every dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are expertly prepared by the talented chefs in the kitchen.
One thing that really sets Peppermint Thai Cuisine apart is the level of care and attention that they put into each dish. From the presentation to the flavors, everything is top-notch and it's clear that the team here takes pride in what they do.
The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating for groups or solo diners alike. And the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service.
Overall, I can't recommend Peppermint Thai Cuisine enough. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or just looking for a great meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. Five stars all around!
Ordered cashew chicken to pick up for take out, got home 0 cashews, manager apologized and said heβll give us extra cashews next time, pretty stupid, there wonβt be a next time
Food was delicious
Delicious food, wonderful service. Highly recommend the taro bubble tea and Under The Sea curry dish, as well as their Tom Yum Goong soup!
Very very good Thai food. We order from here frequently. Love it!
Always friendly service and excellent food! What a gem!
On a night when Chin and the team were very short staffed, especially in the kitchen, they were apologetic and graceful in their handling of an unfortunate situation, including a delay in customer orders. Still the food was excellent as always.
Great Thai food, not spicy though
Good vegetarian options too. Love the summer rolls
Everything was great. Recommend a reservation if planning to visit during peak times. Staff appeared to actually enjoy working which is a change these days.
It unbelievable how a diverse nation love spicy food, at first, the sight of place is total Thailand with its ambience except the ceiling. All the restaurant guys and girls understand Thai language, and second you can upgrade/modify the food options as per your taste, means of you are entirely vegetarian and still love Pad Thai..On this day It felt like 5th time to Thailand πΉπ. π π
Is great atmosphere Yes service Food is consistently great
Wonderful Thai food!! Variety of food and flavors. Everything is fresh and bright on your pallet. You truly can't wait to take the next bite!! Friendly efficient service and a beautiful atmosphere.
Best Thai food in America!
Beautiful restaurant. Great ambiance. I have eaten Thai food all over the world, it is very good here.
Definitely delicious
Ich werde immer wieder gerne her kommen. Sehr lecker und sehr empfehlenswert.
Was looking for a pitstop to have a late lunch or early dinner on our way to Conneaut. Found this Thai place near Heinen's grocery store. The place was quite fancy I would say that was shown by the staff and waiters/waitresses wearing tidy uniforms. We came early after 3.30 pm (the opening time) and a table was filled with a group of people already. During our almost 60-minutes there, I could see a lot of people come and go whether for dine-in or takeouts. The service was great although the waiters took our finished plates kinda quickly which was okay for me. However, once I stepped into the restaurant and got out, I remembered no proper greetings or goodbyes from either one of the staff although our server gave a warm goodbye after giving us our check. Maybe a 'helloβ or a quick response to seat us would be better?
Food-wise, we got Pad Thai, Mango Curry with Jasmine Rice, and Crab Sticks as an appetizer (similar to Crab Rangoon but with different types of fried dough) while having a glass of Iced Thai Tea. The Thai tea came first and was super refreshing but the ice might be too much so I couldn't taste the sweetness of it. The crab sticks came second in the form of spring rolls β I'd say this might be one of the best crab 'rangoonsβ I've ever tasted around since the filling was super full and the sweet-sour sauce was just right. My friend got the pad thai and he told me that it was just okay and we thought maybe because of the most affordable menu on the list but he expected more flavor into it. I ordered the Mango Curry which sounded unique and the plate got sliced mangos. The curry taste was rich, the toppings were fresh although I believe they were hotter than the curry so I wasn't so sure whether they were cooked together inside the curry or not. Maybe adding more mushrooms or vegetables would be great too for the curry dish.
Overall, everything was good. Really love the interior design that is super detailed and elegant β really representing Thailand's culture. Keep up the good work!
Food was DELICIOUS! Had a little run in with the host when seating my girlfriend and I but at the end of our experience, he was peasant
Food was excellent. My only issue was that my waitress. She acted like that she doesn't like Asian customers. How ironic!!! She is Asian.
Excellent taste. Maybe could have more protein per serving
First time having Thai food. Prices reasonable and food was very good
First time here and really enjoyed it. My friends I was visiting eat here a couple of times a month. The food was really good. Ambience was interesting, when you walk in it feels like 2 different places. The front of the restaurant feels like a place that you go for a Sunday brunch and then the back of the restaurant has this great Thai vibe, I recommend sitting in the back.
I had the tofu pad thai and it was delicious. The ambiance is also cool.
This place is so beautiful! If only I couldβve gotten more pictures. It was my first time being in Ohio and honestly this was some of the best Thai food I have ever had! The waitress was so friendly and attentive. She brought plenty water and drinks each time our drinks needed refills. An the food! So tasty and amazing! I absolutely recommend this place! Especially if you are traveling and visiting.
This is my go-to Thai on the east side.
Food is fresh, the flavor is right, and the service is good.
My one critique is that I have a suspicion that they arenβt giving me the full heat on the maximum spicy request.. but itβs probably for my own good!
Consistently great over the years.
Best Thai in town. Once my family found peppermint, we have never been anywhere else. Their Spicy Country Style Pad Thai is my favorite dish, I get it all the time.
This is one our favorite go to restaurants for take-out or dine-in. The selection of dishes is superior - lots of variety, and well done all around - and the quality is consistently excellent. Whether just grabbing a bite for casual dinner at home, or having a high-end dinner with friends, the food and service are top notch. Typically spiced for the mid-western palate, they can make it hotter if you want, and the flavors are great. For appetizers the Crab sticks and Shrimp in a blanket are great, but also try the Tempura Soft Shell Crab. Mona Lisa Pepper Pike is a tasty salmon dish, the Mango Curry is great, and the crispy Chili Duck is always on the list.
Now I'm hungry again.....
Great food, great service, very pleasant experience
I love this place. Upscale/fine dining Thai in a comfy but not pretentious setting. I have not had one thing here that is not delicious - but cannot recommend the Pad Thai or the Chili Duck enough. Reasonable prices. Wonderful.
Excellent Thai place. Pad Thai, always a great choice. Country style is the way to go. Also, don't be freaked out by the raisins in the fried rice. It is complimenting.
I have to go back !! πππ Everything was so delicious and fresh ! I had the salmon, shrimp, and scallops with teriyaki sauce . With asparagus , steamed onions and salad on the side . Absolutely delicious!! My friend had the teriyaki salmon. We also tried the crab sticks ππππ. The water was even fresh and the lemons . Itβs my fav drink . It was nice atmosphere and very cozy . I definitely recommend this restaurant and Iβve referred it ti many of my friends already. I plan on returning too ! Sooner than later. Itβs at least 5 more times I have to try lol
Consistently excellent!
Many of us have been βtaking outβ for the last 2 years, rather than dining in, hoping that the food we bring home approximates the quality & freshness we enjoyed pre-COVID. Peppermint is the only restaurant that meets this standard 100% of the time.
Is it that their ingredients are always fresh? The quality is the meat & vegetables they buy? Last minute prep time?
Whatever their magic is, it works. It REALLY works. Highly recommended.
The food is good and I like the atmosphere and dΓ©cor
My family ate here for the first time today.
What a lovely restaurant!
We were seated right away after arriving. Our server was quick, polite and attentive. She was masked and gloved.
The decor was unique, and the soft relaxing music playing was a nice touch.
Our food came promptly, and was beautifully plated. Everything we tried was excellent. I loved the flourless chocolate cake and the coconut ice cream.
Large menu with reasonable prices too.
We will definitely eat here again!
The food was excellent. Every dish we had was vibrant and bursting with flavor.
The service was top notch.
I also enjoyed the decor.
Amazing food
The best restaurant in the Pepper Pike / Orange area hands down.
Great with dietary restrictions.
A great place for takeout or dine-in!
Without doubt the best Thai in the area, very good menu and very flavorful. Nice decor and premium atmosphere
My new favorite restaurant! Excellent food and service. Loved the soft relaxing music and lighting. I cannot wait to come back. The Pad Thai was perfect. And, I am trying the Mango Curry next time because my Daughter loved hers.
It was absolutely delicious!! The service, the food, everything was great.
Great food a must go
What a gem! This place got it all, from great taste, luxurious ambiance, and affordability. My favorite is their duck noodle soup that isn't on the menu any more, it's the perfect rainy/cold weather dish, their shrimp with young coconut curry is amazing and the green curry lamb shank is a head-turner and tastes great. This restaurant makes a great small party, like a promotion, birthday, etc. I'd make this place my second kitchen if I lived in the area!
Delicious food with lovely presentation, great variety of beverages and friendly service. This was the first time I've been here, and I definitely would love to return again.
Very delicious
Always good,,,,,delicious food and gracious service
Love the food here. A but pricey but worth the money.
Best Thai in town.
Pleasant/Upbeat front of house staff
Always a good pad Thai or crazy noodles
I cannot say enough good things about Peppermint. My family orders from here at least every other week. Everything we have tried has been amazing. We especially love the vegetable dumpling soup, Siam rolls, and three taste salmon- we always order extra to have as leftovers.
