Takeout order was pretty good. Shrimp pad Thai was good only complaint was it could’ve used a few more pieces of shrimp compared to the amount of noodles. Spring rolls were good very crispy and hot. Wings were also tasty and crispy. Service was good and food was ready when they said it would be. I’d recommend if you like Thai food or are curious to try some.

Gabby was incredible friendly informative and overall just a beautiful personality. We had tamarind duck with rice noodles. Excellent flavor. Who would have thought pineapple baby corn and green peppers taste so divine together. Maybe a tad too crispy on the duck. And it was pricey. Pad see u was excellent. 3 taste fried rice also. The peanut sauce with yam fries was delicious. Thai orchid wraps with a basil leaf on top gives you your healthy veggies or justification therein. Definitely plan to go back numerous times.

A hidden gem. Better to park in back than in front. Dining room was very clean. Good appetizers. Food was served hot and fresh.

Massaman curry was delicious, spicy, sweet and savory. The portion size was excellent and the price was reasonable. The chicken wings with sweet chili sauce were perfectly cooked with a flavorful char on the outside. 10 out of ten. I'll be back for sure!

This restaurant is always amazing and they deserve to be much busier than they are. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, and every time I’ve been here my experience is always a 10/10.
If I could make one suggestion to the owner however, currently the first picture I see when I look up your restaurant is the old location. I think that could be confusing to some trying to find your restaurant. It may be beneficial to put an updated picture of the new location and make that the first picture.

First time and definitely won't be the last time! Service was excellent... friendly and quick while giving my wife and I plenty of time and space to enjoy our food and relax. The dining space was clean and comfortable. I had the Thai basil with chicken and my wife had the stir fry broccoli with beef. Delicious. Veggies were crisp, sauce was flavorful, and everything was hot! The spice level was excellent (spice level 3 is quite spicy...I'll probably lower it to 2 next time). I look forward to trying something new next time. Will definitely be back!

UPDATE: Went back for the second time. Just as good! Had the Pineapple Fried Rice (with just the chicken, no shrimp). Delicious!

So today I went and tried THAI ORCHID IN MENTOR OHIO FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY SO I STARTED OFF WITH THEIR CRAB RANGOON WITCH WAS TASTY CREAMY & JUST DELICIOUS THEN I WENT WITH BASIL FRIED RICE AND WHEN I TELL YOU THIS WAS ON FIRE I MEAN IT WAS SUPER GREAT SEASONED PERFECT BECAUEE YOU KNOW EVERYBODY DONT KNOW HOW TO SEASON THEN I ENDED WITH DESERT & GOT THE STICKY RICE AND MANGO…. I’ll MOST DEFINITELY BE VISITING AGAIN  THANKYOU FOR THE GREAT  FOOD AND SERVICE MY WAITRESS WAS SUPER GREAT

Med hot spicy is exactly how I would want it. Perfect amount of food. Ready within 15 minutes as promised on the phone. Very friend staff, and they have apple pay. Perfect experience.

I’ve dined here about a dozen times and every time the food is better! I typically order the chicken satay for an appetizer and yellow curry with shrimp and chicken for my entree . Spice level is always perfect . Service is a little sparse , but the staff is very kind and accommodating. I think the overall look of the interior could be warmed up. It seems bare and bright and in my opinion not that comfortable. Otherwise highly impressed!

My husband, granddaughter and I went to theThai Orchid tonight for super. The server, Gabby, was so sweet and the food was delicious! We met the owners and they are very sweet too. It was a great experience. We highly recommend it.

This was my favorite Thai restaurant before they moved. I used to go there at lease once a week. The food I used to order don't taste the same anymore. The food is EXTREMELY SALTY! Especially the noodle dishes. You need to cut the amount of salt/soy sauce you put into these dishes. The sodium numbed my mouth and I had to drink lots of water. They made me dehydrated and I didn't even peed the entire night.

This used to be a favorite for my family before Covid shut them down. I was happy to see them finally reopen in a new location down the street. My husband and myself stopped by to grab some takeout. We walked in and put our order and took a seat at the bar while waiting. The place looked nothing like the previous establishment. No decor, and only 2 other couples were seated. A young couple walked in and the hostess seated them at a small table directly in sunlight and next to the walkway/entry where all traffic coming in and out will have to walk by right next to them. When the young man stood up to look around for a better table, and he asks the server to move them to a table more suitable, and she looks around and says "OK, but you'll have to wait while she cleans the table up"
They were only one of four tables with patrons in the entire place, and not one single table was cleared and cleaned, no exaggeration here. She seated them and took their order, and we are still waiting at bar for our meal, 2 appetizers and 1 fried rice. Finally she comes out with food, and took it to couple mentioned, which came in a good 10 minutes after we already placed our order. So we continued waiting, and during all of this, the server never walked out to clean any tables, instead, we watched her continue to walk behind bar and sip on what clearly looked like a glass of wine. I don't know what was going on in background, but I do know, based on that single visit, I won't be returning, such a disappointment. I hope this was an isolated incident, and not a regular practice.

This has become my "Go to" Thai restaurant in Mentor. Food is spectacular and can be ordered 1-10 in heat levels and they offer a full carry out menu.
Atmosphere needs a lot to be desired for and usually there is only only one waitress covering the entire floor. They are helpful however overwhelmed.

The food here is always amazing service is spot on. This place deserves more recognition not sure why this place isn’t packed all the time because food is always good.
I always get Red curry, it’s everything that curry should be fresh, spicy, a little sweet and just overall delicious.

The food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the service was great. It would be 5 stars, but there's an unfortunate basement odor in there. I know they recently moved in to this location so I don't blame them too much

This was my first time going to this restaurant but after one bite, this will absolutely be my go to spot. The service was top notch! I ordered the vegetarian rolls, green curry with shrimp, mago and sticky rice. All of it, every single bite, YUMMO!! From the aromatics of the green curry, to the homemade sweet and sour sauce that came with the veggie spring rolls, to the ridiculously amazing mango and sticky rice. This was THE best food I've had since I've been in OH!

Walked in and was greeted with a warm smile and and friendly atmosphere! Food was awesome. Ordered the Basil Fried rice. It was delicious and just the right amount of spice. The waitress Emma was wonderful and worked diligently to check on everyone in the restaurant. Will be coming back and will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

First of all I'm a fan of Thay food. I pass thru Mentor and I want to enjoy good food. The food was ok : not to good and not to bad ... kind of food to expect in a decent Thay restaurant. The soup was kind of long broth. Definitely I eat better soup in lot of other places.
Waiting time was way long. The order was taken after 15 min and food was served afther another 40 minutes , taking in consideration that not was bussy hour. The waiter was so slow and bored.

I have revised this review. This is normally a great restaurant with excellent food and service. However, they closed during covid for renovation and never opened back up. I don't know how long they've been closed, but I think it's been two years. Saying "reopening soon" doesn't really help after two years. I tried googling the restaurant, and no indication that they aren't open for business. Despite this, I've driven there multiple times many months apart, only to find that, yep, still closed. Food rating is based on what it used to be. Atmosphere and Service take a hit because I literally can't eat there. To be fair, if you call them, there is a message indicating they're closed for renovation, but that they will be, wait for it... Reopening "soon".

This was a go-to for Vegan and GlutenFree options. Rarely are servers versed in helping customers with this - this place was always spot on. Regretfully, the doors have been closed as of 2022. Last time we were there (2020) the owner had mentioned opening a new store in Willoughby.

Disappointing experience. I did take a soup that according to menu was supposed to serve 4 and portion was not enough even for one. My coworker took some mix of beef and sea food, and hardly find any of it. All dish was just papers and onions. Way overpriced for such food quality.

Veggie Fried Rice with Tofu is the best fried rice in town.

My husband and I stopped in tonight for my birthday dinner along with our 1 year old. I ordered the Pad thai with chicken and it was great! I've had Pad Thai from atleast 15 different restaurants and this is definitely in the top 3. My husband had the Pineapple Curry and he loved it as well. The Pineapple Curry only had a level 2 for spice and he said it was really spicy but super flavorful. Our waitress was super nice and very accommodating of our daughter, always smiling at her and waving to her when she came to the table, and brought some extra stuff to our table for her. Only downside was the carpet is visibly very dirty and the whole restaurant could very obviously need a deep cleaning.... but all in all it was a great end to my birthday. The Irish Cream Cheesecake is also a must try!

Stopped by this Thai place as all my regulars are closed on Monday. Boy am I glad I tried this change of my norm. Sweat and amazing taste on the chicken pad thai. Will be back, as I grabbed this to go and was still steaming when I got home!

It was okay. Fried rice needed more flavor and I couldn't see or taste hardly any eggs in my rice even though that was the only thing I asked for in my rice. I also got an Irish Cream Cheesecake and a Thai Iced Tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good, not too sweet and not too bland. The Cheese cake was also good, except it needed more Irish Cream flavor.

Service was impeccable, food was cooked and seasoned perfectly, good portions, tasted phenomenal. Will return often!

Absolutely amazing food. My girlfriend and I ordered Crab Rangoon, Tom Yum soup(lemon grass shrimp soup on the menu), Pad Kee Mao, and the Noodles Curry. Each dish sent us on a flavorful ride. Portions are huge! We could barely finish! Our waitress was so friendly and was the cherry on top of a great dining experience. I recommend everyone try this place.

My family and I love this place. We've tried all sorts of dishes, and all of them have been tasty. I think my favorite is the Panang Curry. That being said, I think what I most like about this place is the service. Every person that we have interacted with here has been very friendly and quite helpful. Very recommend 👍

Had lemon grass soup and garlic salmon. Liked their Lemon grass soup, it was really good for the cold weather outside. Garlic Salmon served with squash, zucchini, carrots, some more veggies, salmon and a small bowl of rice. Liked the Garlic Salmon too, except that the salmon was not upto my expectations.
