The food is fresh and come out hot and very delicious and lots of flavor. I got the fresh spring roll with shrimp and came with a wonderful peanut sauce was thick and creamy. I also had the vegetable delight with tofu ( there are other meats to choose from) the vegetables were crispy and delicious in a brown sauce. The spicy edamame had the right amount of heat. Positives:
The service was great from the moment we entered to the moment we left. We were greeted with a smile and quickly seated in the front room. The food was amazing! I ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken w/ fried rice and my wife had the Sweet & Sour chicken w/ white rice. The presentation of the food was fantastic and tasted just as good as it looked. The portions were perfect, not too Big, not too small. We left satisfied after both clearing our plates. Price matched the quality of the food.

Negatives:
The facility is a converted two story home, so it very segmented and tables are close. It's not the nicest building, but quaint . Some of the upcharges were a bit pricey, $4 for fried rice instead of white.

Overall, this is definitely a place with potential. A great menu with great service, the facility is the only drawback. My wife and I really enjoyed our early dinner and would gladly go back again. If you're looking for large quantities of food at a cheap price, look somewhere else. If you're looking for a fair portion with savory flavors, this is your spot.

First time, but not the last time! Our waitress was very sweet and took good care of us. The food was delicious, as was the taro boba and sake. I had the egg rolls, potstickers and spicy noodles with combination of chicken, steak and shrimp. I got a level 2 and it was spicy but great!
The yellow curry was also very tasty.

Food tasted excellent, Mango sticky Rice was my favorite. Dinning space was a bit congested but the service was great and waiter was good.

My personal favorite Thai in Cincy. The atmosphere and service are sufficient, the food Amazing! Love the Thai vegetables. Every time we go the veggies have just the right crunch, and the sauce is delicious ! Don't go in expecting a fancy 5-star restaurant. This is a small Thai family run place with really good food.

Fresh Thai cuisines restaurant set in a building which is more than a century old, giving out a classic nice vibe. Great food.

We went with 2 other couples and had a great meal and time. We started with the chicken satay & combination platter which both were excellent. The table each ordered individual dishes, 2 Pad Thai’s, Green Curry, Massaman Curry (Spice levels 1-1.5) Spicy noodles (spice level 3)and Pad Prik King (spice level 4). I highly recommend this place, it wasn’t crowded and we felt as if we had our own private dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly. Even sharing a story of a famous actor that had recently dined there. Great place and I look forward to going back again.

National Sons Day!! I was able to snag some time from my son for a late dinner. A first time visit for both of us, and the whole experience was exceptional. We started with an appetizer, shared a ginger salad, then each an entree. The vegetables were fresh, the colors vibrant, and tasted amazing. My spice level was a 1 (boring, I know) but it was the perfect amount for the pineapple fried rice I ordered. Son had a 2 (less boring, but still boring nonetheless) and it was perfect for him too. Goldilocks would love this spot, knowing everything is just right. I was quite surprised by how inexpensive the bill.- I didn’t read it for accuracy, but I feel like my wallet takes a bigger hit at a Chick-fil-A for sure.

Some of the worst service I've ever dealt with. But unfortunately that's not my only complaint.

We got there and were seated. Took the guy 20 mins to come take ousked if they had tapioca for bubble tea, he said they didn't. Other people come in. He brings her tapioca immediately. Didn't check on us at all.

Took us another 35ish minutes to get our food. I had 3 bites and couldn't eat it. It was the pineapple fried rice. Some of the rice was undercooked, and it was extremely bland. The most flavorful thing was the raisins. Don't order the pineapple fried rice. Our waiter did not even check on us ONE time after we ordered the food.

We finally got sick of waiting for our check so some of the other people in our group had to go downstairs and ask for it.

When I asked about the tapioca pearls the guy did not have an explanation except "I didn't see it."

Unless you enjoy waiting around for bad food, and love dealing with rude service, I do not suggest going here.

its small place in what looks/feels like a historic building. Nice ambience. The food is delicious. Tried pad thai with chicken ,thai fried rice with chicken, bubble tea, appetizer platter. The make pad thai without peanuts by default, so you may want to ask for peanuts, if you are used to the peanut flavor/sauce in pad thai. All the díshes tasted authentic and yum! Portions are good size. The owner/staff was very welcoming and patient with our order/requests, as it was a big group with kids. Do recommend the place if you are looking for good Thai food.

Disappointed. Sashimi isn't cheap. Not only was I shorted one piece it looked like this. I have ordered plenty in my lifetime and never had this. It's not supposed to be that way at all.

Entrees were delivered correctly, but level of spice was 180 from what was ordered. Ambiance was ruined by a kitchen door slamming. Don't order anything that has chicken or steak in the ingredients. The level of my spouses order was supposed to be mild, mine was supposed to be medium and the orders were opposite when served.

Service was slow, with very minimal guests. I can’t imagine how slow it is when they are actually busy. We observed a waiter watching our sushi being made to go, he tried to correct the person who was making the sushi by saying the roll comes with jalapeño on top. She shushed him and put cilantro on top of the roll. Food is not worth it for the price or the quality. And you may get a substitute item on your sushi roll.

I used to loving go to this place. Not sure if they're only surviving on take out orders, but the dine-in experience last night was not up to par. I assumed with the nice weather they'd be a little busy (maybe busier on the weekend) but we were the only people there. We ordered the app sampler and the spring rolls, dumplings, and Crab Rangoon were cold, and almost tastes freezer burnt. The chicken skewers were rock hard. When I pointed it out to the server all they did was bring out fresh chicken skewers. I will say the yellow curry and panang curries were very good, but having been the only people eating their, I expected better quality from the appetizer and certainly better customer service. I'll stick to take out from there here on out, and don't see myself ordering any apps again.

I faced both the time. One time ordered and told no egg and they confirmed but still made with egg.
Second time, I ordered and when I went for pick up they charged me and can not find my order. I need to wait and they prepared again. I don’t know how they coordinating.

Aweful service! The person who was serving was very impolite. This guy actually asked me to close the door behind me as I walked in to the restaurant. Very impolite while taking order and serving the food. Long long wait time. Not good experience at all. Overall bad behavior….!! Disappointed…..

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for about 2 and a half(?) years already (however, we’re not really regulars, we just go there occasionally) and it’s always had service on the slower side—as in the food is a little slow to come out, but we didn’t mind it that much because the (Thai) food was really good. At this moment (February 2023), they have introduced a new menu with new items, such as sushi. They removed the Papaya Salad, which was a classic—that part isn’t too bothersome though 😔. The very disappointing part…was the sushi. I honestly didn’t expect much, but it was not very nice. I really appreciated the presentation of the sushi, but not the quality of the taste and texture. It would be much better if they had more fish/avocado in each roll, and if the fish was higher quality. Overall in general, the sushi is not worth it at all. Additionally, the rice bowls always come out hardened and not fluffy (the only word I can think of). On the other hand, the customer service is great—it’s just I wished the food would come out faster and the food would have better quality. I know this restaurant has a lot of potential, and I hope that it can improve further in the future.

In town visiting friends. Worst experience EVER! Sat at 7pm. Order taken at 745p. Food for 4 comes out finally at 9pm Piece by piece. And they sushi came out even later. Horrible service. Horrible presentation.

Food tastes good but service is little below expectations. We made a phone call to be there at 2.30 pm.They didn’t let us eat even though we arrived only 4 mins late. Not sure why they do closing hours as 3 pm. They should update their hours to closing time 2.30 instead . No courtesy to understand family needs to have a dine in .

The service was very slow, and it took a while for us to get waited on. When we finally were served, we found our food to be simply average for what we had expected. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't make our first choice for Thai restaurants in the area.

I wish i could give no starts honestly. We went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. We were seated upstairs away from the main area that wasn't busy (maybe 3 tables) which was fine. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to come up for drink orders. One of the ladies in our party had to go down and make sure they hadn't forgotten about us. When we ordered we asked about an item on the front of the menu and he said they dont have that its just there for decoration, which was odd but still fine.We each (3 of us) ordered a single roll of sushi, a cup of soup (2), and an appetizer (only 1). The soup and appetizer were fine. We waited almost 40 more minutes to get our sushi. We only got two of the rolls, when we asked about the third the server looked very confused, but said they were still making it. Totally fine, we thought it would be right up. Well two of us tried ours and they were terrible. The rice was super dry like it was old, the fish had a very odd flavor in both (one salmon, one tuna) and they both had pretty much no flavor, other than that. By time we waited another 10ish minutes for the last roll, we just decided to pay and leave. When one of us walked down to pay and tell them not to worry about it, They just finished the last roll (which had slimey brown avacado on it, not just oxidized avacado, it was slimey). I'm not one to complain, but between the sushi being clearly not fresh ingredients, the waiter seeming annoyed that we were there, and incredibly slow service for an almost empty resturant (was empty when we left) was just too much. I have worked food service for years, so I am incredibly patient with servers and resturants but this was an unacceptable experience.

Have gone here Multiple times, and they never disappoint. The food is authentic and the taste is Amazing! It has become my new favorite restaurant. From their Bubble Tea to the Mango Pun and Pineapple Fried Rice to Red Curry, they have never steered me wrong. Price is good considering the authenticity, flavor and quality of what you get. Service has always been fast when we’ve dined in.
ANYWAY- I 100% recommend Thai Terrace to anyone looking for Authentic Good Thai Food. Will continue to go back time and time again.

While the food is actually quite good, the service consistently is not. They’ll tell you 30 minutes for carry out, you’ll get there 45 minutes later and it will be another 10-15 minutes before you get your food. I have also done dine in and it was the same problem. We placed our order, waited, and then another big party of people came in, got seated and their food was delivered to them before it was delivered to us. The young man who was the waiter didn’t seem to care and have a lame excuse. I just don’t think this place is adequately staffed in the kitchen to fill orders at a good pace. I’ll give it 3 stars because again, the food is delicious, but the service must improve. It is very frustrating.

We visit a few times a month. Sorry to see the Spiderman Crab go, but it must have been a very difficult dish to prepare properly. Number 2 heat is hot enough (I got right to the tums when I get home). Number 5 heat must be radical (they won't even let you return it).

I will never understand why restaurants leave the tail on shrimp, when used in a dish that is not 'finger food', such as a bowl of soup (definitely NOT 'finger food')

5 stars for the food. Amazing! Call before going to pickup to make sure your order is ready. It took another 1/2 hr and they still didn’t have the drink ready and no one was making it. Left with just the food as they were taking way too long with the drink. Also they don’t take cash if under $10 as another person tried to order a drink since they were told to wait and they ended up ordering 2 so they could use their card.

The server managed to make both myself (a hot Thai lover) and my husband (a Midwesterner who thinks too much cracked pepper is spicy) happy. He gagued both of our palates and make each of our dishes specifically for us. (We later found out the server was also the chef.) We loved the small intimate dining room (perfect for dinner and conversation) though you'll need to make a reservation if you want to dine in-person because the dining area is about the size of a large living room. My husband and I would describe this experience as having a Thai Grandpa make you your favorite food in his living room. It was super cool and we will be back.

I really was super skeptical about trying this place a year ago but it was amazing!! If I could’ve changed one thing because I’ve been here a total of 3 times. 2 times last year and 1 time this year and if I could change anything it would be for the waiters/ waitresses to not ask if I can handle a certain amount of heat. I get why they ask that but not necessary. Other than that, they’ve also been super prompt about getting me my drink out and giving me my food in an appropriate amount of time (even when they are busy)

Excellent service, excellent food. The best crab Rangoon I ever tasted! Hubby and I had the drunken noodle (spice on the side) my daughter had the Veggie delight with chicken & rice, which was sooo good! I had the Thai Terrace Margarita and he had the Strawberry daiquiri, both were deliciously made. I believe the gentleman was the owner/Mgr and you can tell he takes pride in customers having a good experience. Definitely a favorite in rotation.

You walk in and it is beautiful. You are immediately greeted and then seated.you are brought water and your initial order is taken (drinks and an appetizer). Then you realize... no straws. No napkins and no silverware. Ok. You wait. Your appetizer and drinks are brought out. Still no straws, napkins or silverware. You then ask for a straw when they come to take your order. You're in a room with 3 other tables but no one is there. Nice views. This is nice you think. Food comes out and looks nice. You still have to ask for napkins and silverware. You eat and are never bothered again. You hear them but see no one. Then you need a refill. Well, you wait and still no one. You came up a flight of stairs to be seated. Where do you go? Who do you talk to? You're lost. Still waiting. Can't finish your food because you need your refill. Finally you decide to go downstairs. You're bombarded with 2 people who question what is wrong. Well, we were forgotten about. That's the problem. Can I pay my bill, you ask. O sure they say. We have been very busy down here. Well, when going to the bathroom, located downstairs, you notice only 3 tables of 2 people each and no food. How busy were they really???? We were simply forgotten about in a place that we spent $80 on 3 people to eat at. I would have expected more and will not be going back.

I made an online order. I asked for vegan sauce, vegetables as protein. I picked the order and came home I saw I had chicken in my Pad Thai…

I called the restaurant, the lady kept saying she want to see the order like she don’t believe me. She kept saying she is busy she has to cook. She was never ready to accept its their fault

I am busy too, 7months pregnant and have a 4 year old and a job too. At the end of the day on a Friday I just need good food… Why didn’t you get the order right in first place?

There are other places, they messed the order but they are so apologetic about it and willing to make it right. But these people are not friendly. The other day dominos didn’t put jalapeño on my pizza they were willing to redo my order, no questions asked. I smiled and let it go.

One time Piada called me when the food I ordered was not available… one time Olive Garden called me when they saw I made the same order 2 times and they asked me if it was intentional and I canceled one of the orders.. restaurants call when they don’t understand the online order..

I have never had chicken or any meat in my life.. it’s important for me to be vegetarian on religious terms. Not just religion I don’t know how to have meat, I just can’t have it

My husband went there 20min after my call and showed the chicken in our food and then she started to make the food.. she could have trusted me and started redoing the order and give him the food when he reached there, but she chose to see her messed up order by herself and then start redoing it… he had to wait about 20min more to get the food.. We also had to wait to get the food first time too

Can't give a zero star, so had to give one star. Good food. But they don't keep their commitment on time. We ordered dinner and were told to come pick up in 20 minutes. We went to there on time, and had to wait for more than hour. Bottom line is, if they tell you that order will be ready in X minutes, they will take 5X to 7X time. Better still, order for tomorrow's lunch at the time of today's dinner. Though can't guarantee if you will get the lunch delivery on time! Plan accordingly. Not worth the wait.

A small, intimate atmosphere. Larger parties dine upstairs. Food has authentic Thai flavor. Our meals were excellent. All in our small party would go again and would highly recommend.

The presentation was very nice, loved the Oolong tea. Portions all generous, best Thai food I've had. Literally everything was fresh, and I'm pretty sure they're growing their own vegetables. 10/10 recommend this establishment.

Food is normally pretty good, but the service is horrible and slow, esp the carry-out service. When I arrived to pick up my carry-out order 6min AFTER the time they confirmed it would be ready, they said it would be another 30min. I had my wife and kids waiting at home while I sat at the restaurant. Also, when the greeter originally told me of the delay and I asked a few questions, he walked into the kitchen as if he was checking on my order, and then never returned. Horrible service. Horrible communication. No apology. No discount offered. Nothing.

The food is fantastic but the portions are very small for the price. We ordered take out and one portion was $16 and the portion was very small. That is my one complaint about thai terrace.

I ordered pad Thai noodles with mixed protein. Average taste but do not worth 20 dollars

It had been a few years since we'd been to Thai Terrace, but I really don't know why. Our daughter was in town and wanted Thai and got takeout earlier in the week which reminded us how good the food is. There isn't a lot of seating (more in warmer weather outside), but we must have arrived at a good time. Our Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were delicious and my wife would go back just for the hot ginger drink.

It was very good Thai food.

Incredible food. Family friendly but upscale. Best Thai in the greater Cincinnati area besides maybe Ban Thai. The spice level runs high. Aim low 😂

Visited 1/14/22 for a group lunch, and it was a lovely experience. We ordered a large variety of appetizers and soups, which were all nice portions, freshly made, and delicious. Several of us tried mixed drinks, which were very well made, and those of us who ordered hot tea were delighted with the elephant tea pots. The menu offered a nice selection of Thai food with choice of protein. Since we had a mix of food ordered, we were able to compare the protein choices, and all were very very tasty. The food can be ordered at different spice levels, which is great for a group with mixed spice-level tolerance. All of our group was delighted with the lunch entrees and portions. It's also such a neat historical building that provides a unique and welcoming ambiance. I can't wait to come back!

Strongly recommend a visit to Thai Terrace for pretty much anything on the menu! You won't be disappointed.

Historic Mason location with magic portal to Siam and delicious cuisine!

We ordered lettuce wrap, red curry, basil fried rice and mango pun. Lettuce wrap was average. But red curry and fried rice were good. Mango pun was also very good.

Everything we got was great! The mango sticky rice was definitely the best I've had anywhere. The employees were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Authentic Thai food served well.

We've been sitting here for over an hour and a half and have only seen our waiter twice: once to take drink orders and once to drop them off. I had to just go get him to ask for refills. Very disheartening as we had high hopes when Banana Leaf closed and new ownership took over.

Food finally arrived after an hour and 45 minutes. Well, some of the food did. One of the 4 meals didn't show up for another 20 minutes when everyone else was done eating. The food was good after all that but I don't think we will be dining here again 😕

Their food was good but staff was quite rude. We were the only customers at the restaurant still he kept boasting that they are best and noone in town makes thai like them. We miss the previous owner who was very humble.

Historically this has been a good restaurant until recently. My wife has Celiac disease which means she has a severe allergy to anything containing gluten. She went here for her birthday dinner because she wanted to go someplace she knew was safe to eat at before her birthday concert. My wife ALWAYS makes sure to stress how important it is that food be made gluten free due to the severity of her allergy. Upon receiving her meal, she noticed quickly that something wasn’t right and asked if the Pad Thai was made gluten free. The server immediately became extremely defensive and rude, claiming she never stated gluten free. The friend she was having dinner with confirmed multiple times she DID say gluten free as this was the main reason they went to this restaurant! In addition, even though the food was not edible by my wife, they proceeded to charge her anyways for the meal. It’s one thing to make a mistake, but to blame the customer who will now be spending her birthday very ill and missing her concert is unacceptable. The food at this location may be decent but the service is severely lacking.

Best Thai food I've had in a long time. The Pad Prik King had a touch of sweetness that just rounded out the dish. Vegetables were fresh and the tofu was perfectly crisped. Medium spice packed a good punch without being overbearing. I'll be eating there again when I visit in the future.

Wonderful dining experience. Housed in an old two story building in the heart of Mason. We ordered an appetizer, soup, and three entrees. Both servers were friendly, polite, efficient and helpful. All of the food was delicious and the presentation was stunning. Highly recommended.

Delicious food with a classy experience at a fair price. The owner and staff are simply wonderful. Probably the best Thai food I have ever had. I wish that I lived closer so that I could eat here all the time. The restaurant is located inside of an old house that is beautiful. The owners have put their own spin on the 300 year old home to create a classy and welcoming environment.

Had to wait over an hour to get the food after ordering. Waitress kept apologizing that they were busy. Food was average with some and better than average with couple of our dishes.

Positives:
The service was great from the moment we entered to the moment we left. We were greeted with a smile and quickly seated in the front room. The food was amazing! I ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken w/ fried rice and my wife had the Sweet & Sour chicken w/ white rice. The presentation of the food was fantastic and tasted just as good as it looked. The portions were perfect, not too Big, not too small. We left satisfied after both clearing our plates. Price matched the quality of the food.

Negatives:
The facility is a converted two story home, so it very segmented and tables are close. It's not the nicest building, but quaint . Some of the upcharges were a bit pricey, $4 for fried rice instead of white.

Overall, this is definitely a place with potential. A great menu with great service, the facility is the only drawback. My wife and I really enjoyed our early dinner and would gladly go back again. If you're looking for large quantities of food at a cheap price, look somewhere else. If you're looking for a fair portion with savory flavors, this is your spot.

10/10 cannot say enough good things about this place! We came from out of town and all three of us loved our food, we all agreed that if we lived close we would be regulars. The service is great, the ambiance is impeccable and I just have to bring up the food again because I can’t stop thinking about it! This is a must try!

I love thai food but never going back to this place. Too little food for the price. Quality also wasn’t great. I ordered Red curry which was supposed to be a thick gravy but they gave me a curry with water consistancy.

Took over an hour to get, Got it home and it was lukewarm, Potstickers were extra crispy on edges, Shrimp tasted Old, Grainy,
Spring Rolls a bit too greasy for my taste. Rice seemed like it had been made much earlier than my order. 3 is a generous rating.

Pricey, but you will be treated to a variety of the best Asian food I have ever experienced. Expect to pay $80.00 to 110.00.
