Thinking nothing of it because we have ate here more than 50 times, I ate the eggplant. The next 24 hours were rough. We will not eat here again.

I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 10 years and there are a lot of really good, top quality Thai food options… and I would put Bamboo Thai right up there , with some of the west coasts best. I really hope locals continue to support this place as it really is a gem. There’s no dine in option currently but the food holds up as excellent take out. My go to dishes are… Pad See Ew, Tom Kha, Gen TSO (all a little spicy) and you must have a Thai Iced Tea. Also, the curry’s are really good too!

I have dined at Bamboo Thai Kitchen twice and have been very happy with both experiences. The restaurant somewhat small-ish and it is almost always full (which is a good sign!). Menu is pretty pared down but there is a good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, and almost everything we ordered were prepared with care. Also if you order spicy it shall be SPICY but in a good, addictive spicy way. The curries have excellent, authentic taste. Papaya salad is also yum but it's prepared pretty authentically so it may have a funky smell to people who are not used to shrimp/fish paste. This is one of my top choices for Thai food in C-bus.

The food was very good. I had a green Curry. My wife enjoyed her meal. My daughter had chicken stir fry, which was also very good.

The food is very food. However, we ordered pad ew sew and we got pad thai. We also thought the restaurant was a sit down place at lunchtime, but it was a pickup/delivery setup, and we drove far from work to join the food in the restaurant.

Pickup only. Got the Drunken Noodles, Yellow Curry, and Pineapple Fried Rice. All excellent. Went with spicy for the drunken noodles. Was spicy but not too spicy. Definitely would go again.

their pad thai is so good that it’s all i’ve ever been able to get myself to eat there. the portions are very good; the only thing is that they’ve been takeout only since the pandemic. i’d love to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal there in person one day (the owners said that they’re trying to make that happen/it’s their goal to do dine-in again). though it’s so delicious that i’d happily only ever do takeout there!!

Favorite place to get takeout, ever, in my life. I think about their tofu pad thai & tom kha any time I crave a comfort meal. Very vegan/veg/GF accommodating and understanding, and so kind about changing up spice level or ingredients here and there.

I ordered the pad kee maow and vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were soggy and the pad kee maow was not terrible but also was not the best that I've had. As I was eating I found a hair and then as I looked closer there were 5 hairs at least in the food. I called to let them know and they very much had a well “what do you want us to do about it” attitude. Ultimately unless you can ensure that whoever is preparing your food wears a hairnet I would not go here.

Loved the Chicken Pad Thai!

I bought drunken noodles. I had more vegetables then I had anything. I thought I had the wrong order. I literally had six pieces of noodles. How can I order noodles and don’t get them. For $15 very disappointing

PROS: Delicious Pad Thai, Large Portion Size (second in flavor only to Bankok Thai), extremely clean & hygiene focused, elderly female Asian owner. Convenient location on Bethel strip mall. Authentic, interesting menu with many GF and VG options & customizable spice level.
CONS: Pulled eggshell pieces put of my food after munching on some. No Online Ordering via their website, must call in like it's 1999. Priced on higher side (although still not a ripoff), every little add on costs money ("$2 for 2oz hoisin sauce"). Phone service is like a Chinese carryout, sound depressed on the phone taking your order. NO DINE IN, chairs all put up at dinner time. They don't allow customers to approach the counter but make you pay on a card reader from behind a buffet table (very strange, but hey I'm a germaphobe too). They hand you a pen & ask for tips on the receipt for handing you your food that's already paid for...

This one is for the people. I've spent the last three years of my life living in the metro Detroit area before moving back to Cbus. Detroit has elite thai food everywhere. (Remember this if you visit Detroit). I have tried most of the thai places in the city and hadn't found a good bowl of pad thai....UNTIL NOW! Bamboo Thai Kitchen would stand up to the best thai takeout places in Detroit. Also if you read this far...I shall bestow a gift upon you. Order Pad Thai with woon sen noodles. This restaurant currently is Take-out only. This is where they skill at and I have ordered from them twice and am amazed at the quality of food for the price. They have classic Thai dishes done extremely well. I love their curries and have tried massaman and green. Their noodle dishes are excellent as well and plentiful. Medium is a good amount of spice for curries and for spice intolerant, would recommend something below medium.

The best WonTon soup I've ever had. Lunch was Yellow curry Chicken, WonTon, and Thai iced tea. Dinner will be Massaman Chicken.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in Columbus. I used to rate Nida Thai as the best one in Columbus but since they closed their High St. Location, I would replace Bamboo Thai as the best in Columbus. It is only a takeout place but the take out process is very easy and simple. Food is very delicious. I have taken takeout about four times so far and have not had any issues with the process.

Some of the best Pad Thai I've had, decently priced and quick, with friendly staff. I fully recommend, absolutely worth it.

I can’t believe people give this place low ratings just based on the fact they don’t have indoor dining (it clearly states on the website they do not).
Mini egg rolls were very flavorful and still crisp. The Tom Yum soup with shrimp was so flavorful, I just loved it.
Panang Curry was a little watery, but the flavor was great and the veggies fresh.
The fact that this restaurant has true Thai sticky rice is SO exciting and it totally delivered.
Give it a try, other than Bangkok in Canal, I haven’t found a place as good!

They said they closed at 9:00 but they had cheers on the table at 8:00 so I wasn't going anywhere and get served some car food and they have to take chairs off the table just for me to sit down. We love the spring rolls, stir fries and curries and go there pretty much every other week. They have good lunch deals and a yummy fried banana w/ice cream dessert. The ladies running the place are super nice and kind. Just writing this review makes me want to go eat there again :D

I picked up food from this place because it had my two favorite dishes - Pineapple fried rice and Panang Curry. The pineapple fried rice was excellent but definitely recommend eating it with a sweet and sour sauce to make it even better cuz its kinda dry. The panang curry was a but watery which was concerning at first but after trying it, I could care less lol its so good. I need an IV hook up to a bag with this curry in it that’s how much I liked it 🤪. The portion size for both was surprisingly very large 👍🏾

I love this place! Their food is my favorite for tai in the Columbus area. I feel like anything I try has great flavor. I have dined in and done take out and service is always great they even know my order by now! I would 10/10 recommend going here.

I ordered chicken Panang curry dish and tofu Pad Thai, it has been a while since I got carry out from them. The Panang curry dish flavor was good but very watery, most of it was just liquid with few pieces of chicken, bell pepper and bamboo. We like their Pad Thai. I ordered mild spicy but I thought it was little too sweet. I first time discovered this restaurant was about 5 years ago, the quality of food was much better before as I remembered.

Took a $16 Uber here and they said they only do take out😭😭. Just wanted someplace nice after work. All the chairs are up on the table like they are closed-so disappointed. The food was terrible too. Tom Kha was a watery red; didn't taste of any coconut milk at all. The chicken satay was like something from an electric George Foreman Grill. It literally had no real flavor not even a grilled flavor. Even the peanut sauce was bland like just water and peanuts. No sugar at all in the cucumber side also - just vinegar and red onion yuck. This was a true waste of my time and money. Never again.

I read many reviews before we decided to grab lunch, and we were pretty excited to try their food. The food was honestly not bad, I just wished mine had more flat noodles than vegetables. The biggest downside was my gf felt like she had a food poisoning. She threw up few hours after she ate her Pad thai. I had some of her pad thai as well, and I had to go to the bathroom 7 times after I ate it. I'm not sure what went wrong, they seemed like good people, and the place looks really clean.
Not sure if we would return, maybe one day.

I have to say, ordering is always an unpleasant experience, they're never friendly and picking up your food is equally uncomfortable. The inside is closed down and blocked off like it's still 2020, but omg their food is delicious! Best pad thai in town! Their appetizers are equally amazing! Although still “Take-Out-Only” as of 3/29/22, this restaurant has an outstanding, although limited menu of soups, salads, stir fries, curry dishes, and sides. They also have a selection of wonderful Bottled Asian Beers.

They are meticulously clean here, and a faint scent of bleach lingers in the air.

The food is OUTSTANDING !!! They use only real broths with no detectable traces of cornstarch in any of their soups and sauces. will be back.

I go here about once a week or so, and they continually produce consistent, delicious food. Not only is their food top notch, but they're also speedy and accurate! I we njoy the general tso's chicken, and their chicken pad Thai! I really don't think you can go wrong here though.

I think this is a hidden gem of Columbus, OH. Bamboo has delicious curry dishes and beyond… their portions are incredible. There’s a more “upscale” Thai place in German village that’s more expensive and you get half the food and the flavor doesn’t compare to Bamboo. I’ll call this my favorite Thai spot for years to come.

While getting takeout from Min-Ga Korean Restaurant, I discovered Bamboo Thai Kitchen, an Asian restaurant that serves both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant is open for takeout or delivery via DoorDash and Postmates. While I waited for takeout, I enjoyed a Thai Iced Tea. Next time I visit Columbus, I plan to try their food including their Vegetable Spring Roll, Fried Tofu, Vegetable Soup, Pad Puk, Broccoli, Tamarind Duck, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew.

All I can say is wow. This restaurant surprised me and my girlfriend. Great prices with incredible flavor. This is a must try. Drunken noodles, pad thai, Tom kra soup and the spicy dumplings were all top notch and didn't break the bank. Plenty of leftovers for the next day too. This will become a weekly visit if not multiple times a week.

This is such a nice little stop for a lunch when we're in the area. The food is very reasonable, the food is more importantly very good, and third the staff is always happy and eager to help. It's clean also. What more do you want in a Thai restaurant? The dishes are most of the classics from Pad Thai to red and green curries.
The Lard Na is especially fine and the Tom Yum with pork is a go to for people who are not versed in Thai food.
