I had the awesome pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time. I read reviews and saw it ranked high on Cleveland restaurant lists - I now see why. The ambiance is quaint - intimate enough to enjoy time with others and the environment is not too busy, even with the regular traffic of patrons.

Our server, May, was very pleasant and patient with me as I was trying to figure out what to choose from when looking over their menu (which has several great options to choose from). I usually go with rice dishes when it comes top Thai food, but I, instead opted for Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) which was ok, but has a very unique, thicker noodle that it includes.

The Sweet Chili Wings were cooked to perfection (an all-around favorite) and the Crab Rangoon was a hit, especially with my wife, who it's a crab connoisseur. I also enjoyed the Vegetable Dumpling Soup, that can be a nice way to whet your appetite while waiting for the main course.

On that note, the food did not take long to come out at all, but was prepared at and above expectation. Again, I really enjoyed our server and the overall experience. This location is certainly a hot spot (literally and figuratively) in the trendy Tremont area that deserves future visits. Highly recommended!

I decided to check out a Thai restaurant at the beginning of my second week in Cleveland. This place is not too bad. The people there are from Thailand, so that’s a huge plus.
I ordered the Tom Yum soup and Pad Thai. I can’t hope for it to taste like the food in Thailand, but the food was decent. The soup has the tamarind flavor just right, although it lacks the variety of vegetables. The pad Thai was not bad either. They actually have 5 levels of spicy which is nice. The pad Thai flavor was good, even if there was a little more sauce than I’m used to. Overall, I would stop by here again to try their other dishes.

Crab Rangoon was excellent! Best I've had for sure. Everything was very tasty - Ordered Thai basil with duck and that was good; a little spicy, and unfortunately, the duck was overcooked. Also ordered the Prik Khing and that was delicious! LOVED the peanut sauce.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice with five of my friends, and each time, we experienced a stark contrast in the way customers were treated based on their nationality. White customers were met with warm smiles, attentive service, and prompt clearing of plates. In our case, not once did we receive a smile. We were left waiting to place our orders, and when the food finally arrived, it was carelessly dropped at one corner of the table without a word. Requests to clear the table were met with a rude attitude. It’s disheartening to witness such biased treatment, especially at a restaurant representing South Asian cuisine.

FYI, we paid over $150 in both visits. Despite this poor treatment, they shamelessly added a mandatory 20% tip without justification.

Always delicious. My favorite is the tofu pad woon sen, which most other Thai restaurants in the area do not offer. Never disappoints! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. I’ve brought most of my family members here, and they all love the food as well!

Cannot rate the atmosphere as I have only ever done takeout. The Pad Thai is delicious and the Chive Pancakes are my favorite.

Small place and no parking lot. However, food was AMAZING 👏 🤩 😋! Service was a bit slow with getting your order, but food came pretty quickly! I got the spring rolls and chicken satay. The chicken satay was huge, more like filets!

Checked this place out due to reviews so I figure I should provide my opinion as well. I ordered basil fried rice and drunken noodle. Both were underwhelming. Nothing was wrong with it. It did not have that Thai flavor profile. Base solely on food, I won’t be back.

Service is awesome but parking can be tough (as is to be expected in the area). Offers dine in and take out which works. Would recommend!

Awesome chill spot for small groups (4 to 6) to relax with some awesome variety of Thai food. Vegan and vegetarian options are great with many varieties. Their regular options are super delicious as well. And you can modify dishes if needed, just ask. Price wise it is not bad at all with some really delicious food.

Service is really friendly and nothing to complain about, didnt have to wait for someone to come over. Parking can be tough if you go during peak hours (mostly street parking). Atmosphere is really relaxed with a mild upbeat vibe. The bar is pretty awesome as well.

It can get a little noisy at times depending on the crowd and the time, but is awesome for just relaxing or catching up with others. Is on the smaller side in terms of number of tables, but that's what makes it really chill. And if you're just looking for the food then you can order takeout and pick up.

This place was the work customer experience I have had in years. Waiting 2 hours for just one plate of pad thai is just ridiculous. I counted 27 take out orders before I recieved my food. It just pathetic to have to wait so long. I wouldn't recommend dinning in for absolutely anything.

Hands down best Chicken Pad Thai I have ever had. Crab Rangoons-amazing. Have always had great, quick service even when they’re busy. Only downside is the size of the actual restaurant. It’s tough during busy weekend nights to go here because of the size of the space, but that’s out of anyone’s control! It does get loud for the size of the space.

Overall the place to go when you’re craving Thai.

Fabulous place. The location is very central and easy to get to from both east and west side of Cleveland.

Went on a whim, just to try something new. The server recommended the dishes you see in my pics, and they were great. I will recommend this place and should be coming back for another visit. Why 3 stars? Because it felt more like a bar with little seating. It's hard to articulate, but the vibe just wasn't right & we didn't feel cozy (like we should stay once done).

This is a nice hole in the wall spot, excellent flavor, and the interior looked very nice! My only complaint is that the lime that came with my pad thai had no juice and was dried out. Will deff be back. Crab rangoons are excellent!

Oh gosh!! So disappointed. Busy early Sunday evening 4:50 pm. The food took a painfully long time. No refill or water brought to table. It seemed I was annoying the waitress to ask for things she should have brought or asked as part of service standards. Started with the Tom Yum soup with shrimp. Truly delicious. Mine was a tad over room temperature and my husband’s was very warm and a proper temperature -didn’t complain. I was starving by the time it came and just ate it! Then waited and waited and our food came out. I had chicken Pad Thai, also very good. My Husband had drunken noodles. They were cold! Truly cold as if it had been sitting . Mine was piping hot and very good. We flagged the waitress and she basically denied it was cold. The plates for some reason are extremely cold. She tried blaming it that he was feeling the plate and not the food. I piped up and interjected that the food itself indeed is actually cold! She grabbed it and left without any verbal remedy. Again, took a while to return, so my husband shared my dinner. They clearly just microwaved it or tossed around in a pan - But it didn’t quite taste right. Additionally there really not any noodles and the serving size was quite a bit smaller than mine. Both noodle dishes.
, No offer to remove from bill, no apology, no drink refill. Had to ask for the check when we clearly were done eating. No check back. We didn’t eat the drunken noodles. They just tasted unpleasant. She could see the plate went untouched.

After I asked for the check, she dropped it off and I said thank you, and she turned hastily and left. No you’re welcome. No thank you, no nothing.

The food was good except for the drunken noodles. The attitude and long wait time and cold food was off putting. I will not be back.

Banana Blossom is our absolute favorite go-to place for takeout in Ohio City and Cleveland in general. They have a large, diverse menu, but to be frank, we simply are too obsessed with their Drunken Noodles (Kee Mao) and Crab Rangoons to venture far. We crave Banana Blossom all the time! They have the nicest folks on staff too!

The food here is consistently good. Best Pad Thai I ever had. I have tried multiple places. All 3 of my kids were fighting over leftovers. Finally tried drunken noodles. So good! Love the curry and the hot and sour super as well. Fast service. We were in and out of there with our 3 kids in 1 hour. Equally happy with the takeout.

Quality, authentic Thai food. If you're not used to spicy food, I would recommend choosing a lower spice level. Restaurant is great with dietary restrictions with both their drinks and meals. Definitely one of my Cleveland favorites!

Ashamed to say this was my first time trying Thai Cuisine and was a bit scared coming as far my own personal taste. The appetizers were amazing (Crab Rangoon’s & Spring rolls). The Drunken Noodle were an amazing choice for me and couldn’t have loved it more. The only take away from the restaurant is the small cluttered feel, tends to get stuffy when it’s a full dining room. Other than the size everything was great! Will return!

Small portions for the cost, ordered veggie potstickers, and veggie spring rolls, got pork potstickers, this was to go, and like a 20 min wait. Tasted good though, at least what I could eat of it.

Do not order appetizers there. Found out tonight they are all frozen and microwaved or fried. Not authentic at all. Entrees are good but not the best I have ever had. Just disappointed that an “authentic” restaurant would serve frozen warm up food.

The best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. I’m a huge pad Thai fan and have tried many different versions around the country but i have yet to have one even remotely close to this. I love spice so that might be why. Most other places I’ve realized make theirs too sweet and not enough spice or sauce. Not sure which version is the authentic but regardless this is my favorite restaurant in Cleveland. I’ve tried about half of the menu and everything has been 10/10. I only wish they had delivery service.

Such a beautiful little spot. Very romantic atmosphere and calming. Great service and great food. I like that they were able to make my curry "Thai hot" instead of how it was advertised as medium hot.

I love their large thick flat perfectly cooked noodles for the kee mao. It is the most satisfying noodle I have had in a while. Their papaya salad is fresh and tasty as well!

One of the best Thai places around! The food is delicious and portions are very generous (almost too generous). Their Thai iced tea is perfect! Service is great, but the dining area is too small for how popular they are so you might be waiting a bit for a table if you come during a dinner rush.

We visited Banana Blossom a couple weeks ago when visiting friends in Cleveland.

It appears to be family owned and operated, so you can expect the best, most authentic Thai food. They are lean, and so service can appear slow to some but wasn't an issue for us.

This was the BEST Thai Basil dish I've ever had. Just the right amount of spice and heat (I got level 3/5) of minced chicken, peppers, string beans, and basil, all paired perfectly with cooked white jasmine rice to round out the flavor. Went there this past Saturday night for pad Thai. It was very good, and it was a large portion. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was good. Very friendly. I would definitely recommend going. It's small, so you might want to call ahead. They are frequently full and there is a wait time. Picking up your food is always an option. Looking forward to returning.

Yesterday a friend and I went to dinner here the food was great delicious flavorful and everything the service wasn’t the best the lady chased us out to the car for a tip! Mind you while we were eating they watched us the whole time but we didn’t mind any of it bc the place is small! anyways the lady chased us down for a tip saying we should leave a tip because she gets paid off of the tips mins you she didn’t really do a good job serving us didn’t ask how the food was didn’t refill drinks nothing. I would suggest you order online and pick up dining in was a horrible experience I’ll never do it again

Was looking for a legit thai place for some pad thai. Well i found it! I had the pad thai (2/5 heat), crab rangoon, and tom kha chicken soup. The pad thai at level 2 was still extremely hot. Thai people like spicy, so if you are a white boy like me i suggest starting with 1. Other than the heat, it was really good. The crab rangoon was really good as well, i have never seen them made this way, which has me wondering if they make them home made. The tom kha is one of my favorites, but this one missed the mark. I'm used to a bunch of veggies and lemon grass and chili oil and this was missing like everything. They used normal button mushrooms and i think maybe onion. I was pretty unimpressed about this. Oh i also got the thai iced tea if anyone is wondering. It's different in a good way, if you haven't tried it before, give it a shot! Thanks guys!

Cool location with historical charm and an urban vibe. Very attentive but serene staff. Several menu items that you won't find at other Thai restaurants. Delicious papaya salad. Remember to take a nut for the friendly and plump red squirrel that hangs out by the sidewalk.

Every time I go to banana blossom I keep expecting better because I know so many people like it, but I'm just never impressed. It's just okay, and I really liked the Hot Duck Basil dish they used to have, but apparently it's gone now, so I just can't find anything great about this place. It's not terrible by any means, but there's better Thai out there
