Staff was very polite and punctual. They brought out the courses as you finished the previous one. The food was so fresh the dumplings were still sizzling when they arrived at our table. We will definitely be going back.

Update 11/2023: It's still a great place to eat. I make excuses of why I need to go to Cincinnati just to eat there.

This place seems to put their spin on certain Thai dishes... their "Kao Soi Kai" was ramen in nature, and tasted nor looked anything like Khao Soi. Their massaman curry was like a beef stew and tasted the furthest away from massaman that I didn't think was possible. I really wanted to like the dishes, but I guess I shouldn't have had any expectations... willing to give this place another shot though.

My daughter and I have eaten twice at this place. Each time we have ordered something different and each time the food was delicious. Wonderful service. We will be back.

I got the green curry and it was way too sweet, it had more bamboo shoots than anything else, and the pork had a strong gamey taste.

I also got the Thai tea and while it's supposed to be sweet this one was also way too sweet and there was more ice in the cup than tea.

Absolutely fabulous lunch of gyo pak (vegetable dumplings), tom kha kai (blue ginger soup with coconut milk base), and hot, Jasmine tea. Excellent service in a clean, tidy restaurant.

When I arrived the hostess informed me they were busy and it would take a bit to be ser ed. I was promptly seated. She was correct it did take a while but I had told her it was ok. I'm glad I waited. I had the chicken wings for an appetizer they were hot crispy and very tasty. I also had the Ramen it was the best Ramen I've had. I could drink the broth for days. The pork was very tender and flavorful. Get yourself a glass of hibiscus tea. You wont be disappointed. If you're in the area stop and enjoy great food at a good price... 👍 I may just drive the 2 hours for the ramen..

So disappointing. Spring rolls are skinny and dry with questionable filling. Tom KaaKai soup is watery instead creamy. And both pad Thai and chicken curry were WAAAYYY too spicy. 1 and 2 were requested, and it's inedible. All heat and no flavor. Will definitely not return.

Love this place, have been eating here for over 2 years. Hidden little gem! Just took my girlfriend for her birthday on a Saturday night and able to be seated for 2 very quick. This is the best Spicy Pad Thai in town, just order 1 or 2 levels below your normal spice level. I’m a huge spicy fan and even I stick with a 3/5, perfect amount of sweet and heat. The chicken wings are also excellent, favorite appetizer. I would’ve taken a picture but we were too busy stuffing our faces. Thanks Bangkok St!

Ordered the Kao Pad Karee (curry fried rice) with chicken and added broccoli and it was a great choice! I got medium spice level. I like spicy things but the medium is pretty spicy for me. Delicious!

You guys service were so bad.plz go back and coached and train more restaurants employees how to being treated nice to your customers.cuz..since I arrived for my picked up,have an glasses older lady she just asked me “YES” and she were kinda bad attitude.never ever returned back anymore.

Ordered take out for dinner, haven’t ever had it. Ordered a few main courses and a few appetizers. The food was cold and underwhelming. The order of mixed vegetables and tofu, which was $15, wasn’t even half full in the container. Incredibly overpriced for such a small dish of cheap ingredients. The flavor was ok but very skimpy on the quantity. Everyone knows you should always have leftovers but not this time. The other entree had sliced pork and it was very dry and flavorless and the thin noddles were all stuck together in clumps. I’m not sure if this is typical for this place or not as this was our first time but first impression leads me not to order from them ever again. Spent $50 on dinner and can honestly say that was a disappointing rip off.

My favorite Thai place in the city! And I’ve been to more Thai restaurants than most people I’d say. Their pad thai is out of this world! Same with the coconut soup and basil fried rice… and honestly every single other thing on the menu, haha. I have never had something that wasn’t delicious!

Quite possibly the best Thai food in Cincinnati. We ordered two green curries and it reminded us of being back on the West Coast where Thai food is as authentic and deeply appreciated. It is also run by women, so you are supporting a female run business.

So Damn Good!!! Our favorite Thai spot in Cincinnati!! Fresh, delicious, and fairly inexpensive compared to other Thai places in town. The sweet and sour fish is the bomb, and they have the best bubble tea around 😋

Really like the pad Thai from this place. Is different compared to many Thai places, and in this case I prefer it to most.

Food is good but the portions are kind of small and really slow. If they say thirty minutes, expect an hour or more. Took over an hour to get carry-out.

Also, I usually get a 10 most places, and their 5 is incredibly hot. I like it but be warned.

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times in the past and it has always been a nice experience, so I am very disappointed to have to write the following. Today, I called at 1pm to see if dine-in was a option. It was, but I was reminded of their lunch closing at 3pm. No problem. I would be in and out by 2:25pm. However, upon arriving, I was not very well received and rushed to order. When I ordered, the owner and I raised our voices at each other due to miscommunication. Typically, I order a lot of food, but due to the poor service and pushy nature, I felt like I couldn't even order everything I wanted. The apps and Thai coffee were tasty, along with the curry fried rice. However, the crispy pad Thai and pad Thai were too sweet. I was also not asked about spice level for pad Thai, so it was not spicy at all. My guest and I spent $50 for lunch, which could have easily been more, but we felt unwelcomed. I truly wish I walked out before we even ordered. Overall, this restaurant has good food, but I will not be returning due to unfriendly service.

First of all, as a long time resident of Cincinnati Ohio I was dubbed by the name when starving and trying to order quickly. I thought I was ordering from Bangkok Bistro which we have enjoyed for many many years. Names appeared different but with Covid menus have become a tad limited due to no eatin service. I was stunned by the prices!!! I ordered 2 dishes to share between 4x 3 appetizers and a rice dish for $95+ dollars!! What??? Definitely not the quality of the food used to at the only good Bangkok restaurant in town and definitely way more over priced. I have actually been to Thailand!!! My review is not comparing authenticity because nothing comes close to real thing when in their country. I’m comparing to the best I’ve had in Cincinnati Ohio. They should be ashamed for what they are pricing for their food. Never again!!!

I've been here a ton of times and it's always amazing. Definitely the best Thai I've had in Cincinnati. I almost always get one of the curries. Every one that I've had has been phenomenal. I had a stir fry today (cashew chili) and it was amazing. Coconut soup and pork wanton soup are awesome. They have a papaya salad thats great. I don't really like pad thai but my friend I usually go with says theirs is the best in town. Seriously never had anything here that wasn't fantastic. The lady that serves and does everything in the front of the house is super sweet and always provides great service. Can't recommend this place enough.

I know that restaurants have to raise their rates on DoorDash to make up for the fees or maybe only offer their dinner portion on the DoorDash menu, but when I pay $13.50 plus tax for a meal that is normally $9 at most Thai places for lunch, and then receive the tiny tiny bowl of chicken and vegetables, I feel ripped off. Overall it was a an $18 meal and it wasn't big enough to feed a 5 year old. Wouldn't order here from DoorDash. Maybe eating in is a different experience.

Very good Thai flavors and spices without overwhelming heat. A great balance and serving size for lunch and good sized dinner portions as well. The owner is friendly, willing to make recommendations, and modifications, for whatever you may want or need. During covid they are doing distanced tables and carry out as well as dine-in or delivery through the third-party apps.

This is my go-to Thai place. Authentic, delicious. Everything we have had there has been excellent. The service is quick and respectful, no hassle and no issues. There are items on the menu you cannot get anywhere else in Cincinnati. We go here regularly and always have a good meal. Portion sizes are good value for what you pay, its a class act.

Very good Thai food. The dining room is literally one table wide nonetheless suprisingly comfortable. The server was attentive when taking the order and unobtrusive during the meal. This restaurant is in a very humble storefront type space, but it's not drab, because the atmosphere inside is sincere and unpretentious.

i am so disappointed with the service i had here for lunch today! i had to take my 7 year old daughter to the doctor today right next to this place. i was excited to eat here since it is a Lent Friday, and i can't eat meat, so i was looking forward to a good tofu pad thai. i ordered appetizers and soup for the 2 of us which came out timely. but that's where it all went downhill. within the 1 hour to wait for just the pad thai to come out, the server had poured water, cleared the other plates, and come back again to basically say 3 different times my noodles would be out soon. during that time, i witnessed another customer complain about getting the wrong order, and he had been waiting over 45 minutes for the simple small lunch order. i asked them to pack 1/2 my order to go before bringing it out, so i could eat at least 1/2 while it was hot and fresh. she screwed that up, and brought the whole thing in a to go carton. so i ate 1/2 out of the to go box as i sat there waiting for my check to be rung up. a table of 6 that had come in half hour before me was getting served their main dishes before and during the time she brought out my pad thai.

i am upset because i have recommended this place for the taste of their pad thai several times the past couple of years. i will now tell everyone not to try it or go back.

I once had a half-Thai girlfriend who cooked me massaman curry, and I've been looking ever since for another place where I could get it, and I found Bangkok St. My personal preference is to have smaller chunks of meat and vegetables in my food than what I was served, but it was a wonderful meal and I hope to be back to try some of the other dishes they sell.

The pad Thai was absolutely mediocre with some type of sweet sauce on it. When a Thai restaurant fails with the national dish, it is not the place to go. I suspect that there has been an ownership change in the last year or so.

It took eons to get served last time. We were in there for lunch while they weren't busy and it took 50 minutes before we got our food. It was almost 20 minutes before they even dropped off our water. Completely unacceptable. My mom and I were both sick later in the day after eating here. Completely regret coming here.

Very rude workers. What a shame as the food is decent and it's around the corner from me. I called tonight trying to place an order. The lady who answered literally yelled into the phone telling me I couldn't place an order because they were too busy. I tried clarifying the situation with her, but she yelled "..NO! Call back later, maybe 30 minutes!" I've never heard such anger from someone who worked in food service, particularly because I was very nice when calling. We all get busy, I get it, but it's absolutely no way to run a business and they've lost a customer for life.
