The Thai food high quality at this restaurant definitely surprise us. My wife chose this place for lunch due to other Thai restaurants near by would closed at 2 PM or 2:30 PM. Maybe it is destined for us to taste the best Thai food here at Nida. We ordered variety of foods (see the list below) and all came out fast and everything tasted really good. The only one I might suggest to improve is the Tom Yum Goons which was serving a bit too salty, let go of the salt a bit and it would taste perfectly. Parking at this restaurant is plenty and convenient, restroom is nice and clean, and our server (her name is Boling) is very kind and friendly and hospitable! Thanks and we definitely be back again.

Either the chef doesn't have any taste buds or did not bother tasting the soup before calling it good for service. The noodle dish was okay, I chose pork for a meat option it was rather tough and dry but noodles and vegetables were cooked fine. I will not eat here again and hope to find a better thai food option in the area. The thai ice tea was good.

My 1st time. Fairly small tho nice inside. Unassuming exterior. Table service. I ordered the pad thai. Good, not great. Skimpy on the egg, bean sprouts, etc. Had to ask for peanuts. Service was OK. Ice tea was $3.00 & no free refills. They forgot mine anyway, so no matter.
I do want to try other dishes, as they look wonderful. All in all, recommended.

Very impressed. Had I know this place was here, I would have tried a long time ago. Had their shrimp pad thai..very good! I would also strongly recommend their ice thai tea or coffee. Both are refreshing on a hot day. Prices are reasonable and even though we did carried out, you can sit and dine inside. Place appeared to be well kept. Highly recommend.

This place is SO GOOD! I had the Pad See Ew and was very happy with my choice- so delicious and fresh and at a reasonable price, too! If I lived in town I would eat here often. Definitely worth checking out!

This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Dayton! Clean, modern interior no frills. Service is always fantastic. Flavors are more complex than other Thai joints in the area. We live two blocks from Thai 9 but choose to drive to Nida Thai often.

Do not order food on Fridays as they will make you wait 30 minutes more than the one hour wait. Plus they are rude about it.

First time visiting Nida Thai and I was pleasantly surprised. The younger lady working the front was very nice and attentive. She was quick to take my order when I visited around 7:00PM.

I ordered a Pad See Ew and a Thai Tea. The Pad See Ew was tasty but a rather small portion than an American stomach would want. Honestly, I think that is why so many low reviews are complaining because they want to gorge on the food. I found the dish to have plenty of carrots, broccoli, and chicken. Although the food was delish, I did think the dish was a tad bit too salty, but that didn’t stop me from eating it all.

My bill came out to be around $17, which seems a bit much for what they serve, but with rising prices and competitors to keep up with, rising prices and adjustments are understandable.

I would visit here again if I found myself in the Centerville area, but I would probably order something else.

I was in town from Austin TX for a week and my husband and I ate here twice! I loved their red pumpkin curry with tofu. They are one of the few Thai places that actually makes it "extra spicy" when you ask for it. SO TASTY!!!

Went to Nida with a friend because they were loosely associated with the owners. Stopping in on a cold late fall night we were seated and waited on right away. Ordered some super warming and comforting Thai classics. Prices were right, and food came quick..

I have been here several times now and I can say this place is excellent! Their soups are very good. Especially when you don't feel well. The food is very fresh and tastes homemade. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. The workers are very friendly and always smiling. Everything I have tried here has been very good. It is now one of my favorite restaurants to go to! My family has eaten here a few times and it was delicious. The last time, however, we all got pineapple thai fried rice. 2 had chicken and 1 vegetable. In the past, pineapple with chicken had a nice portion of veggies. This time they had only chicken and onions with extremely overcooked rice. The veggie only order had maybe 3 small pieces of broccoli and a couple carrots, with unedible rice. 36 dollars worth of food went into the trash and I ended up having to cook. I won't waste my time or money here again. Penns thai grille stays consistent each time. I requested a refund but the owner wasn' t courteous enough to respond.

I ordered a green papaya salad and a pork pad thai yesterday (5/9). I can only agree with the reviewer below - LS, who had the same experience as me. My pad thai was blob of over cooked rice noodles soaked in a tamarind + soy sauce. The pad thai that was given to me is good for someone who clearly doesn't know what pad thai is. It literally had 3 peices of pork and a scaarsly scrambled egg. No spice what so ever. Try Thai silver spoon or Ticks thai grill. Not coming here again.

Very authentic and tasty food. We will order again. Basil chicken, Pad Thai and Red curry chicken all were good.

The staff was friendly and the food was wonderful. I had the Tom Yum soup and Pad Kee Mow. Both were delicious. My soup was loaded with mushrooms, green onions and basil. The Pad KeeMow was rice noodles served with plenty of broccoli, carrots, red and green bell peppers with lots of basil. I chose tofu for my protein. This resteraunt is very vegetarian friendly. Tofu is an option for almost every dish. You can customize your spice level from mild to hot. I highly recommend Nida Thai.

Bland, colorless food and arrogant owner. This is not what pork pad thai looks like in the owners pictures or on the menu. I don't see how this place gets such high reviews.

I read the reviews and thought I'd try it. It's way over priced and flavorless. Also, I was over charged and called to question why I was charged for a large soup then an additional 3.00 for a custom order. The lady days she knew for a fact I got a custom or of soup because she made it and packed my other Ha!

All I got in return was arguments from both owners, via 2 phone calls then he started texting me. During the first call from him he told me the custom charge was because the person taking the order had to inform the cook. He didn't know she already told me that the lady that took my order also cooked and packed it.

I didn't ask for a refund but he did refund my $20.00+

So for a small dish of noodles without any veggies and a soup that was in a 16 oz container (the man owner said it was a 24 oz soup!) IT WAS NOT and only 3/4 full and in a 16 oz container, I paid 20.99.

I guess if you don't know how pad thai is supposed to look and taste you'll like this stuff. That's the only reason I can see for the high reviews.

I'll never eat here again and I cannot with good faith recommend anyone eat here. There's way to many amazing thai, and chinese food places in the area to spend you money and time.

My father owns a mechanical repair shop down the road and Nida Thai is always our go to. Most delicious Thai food I've ever had.

I love this place so much I try to come in as much as I can when my dad will let me, definitely recommend 100% in fact I just ordered some. Tucked away in a small strip center on the west end, this is a nice place for some tasty food.

I have only been there for lunch, but portions are hearty and well made. Different types of noodles and meat are available as well as spiciness. Very reasonably priced for a good meal.

I ordered yellow curry which wasn't bad, it had a good taste. If I did not know other places were curry is delicious I would have give them 5 stars instead of 4. Same with path tai or my Tom ka soup. Prices are ok, about average.

The food was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable! The portions were a bit small for me but I also eat a lot more than most people. Overall a great place to eat. Make sure you tell them how spicy to make it or it will not have much spice if any!!!

I love the friendly environment. It’s definitely comfort food for me. All of the dishes are worth trying and delicious (you really can’t go wrong), but my personal favorite is the Pad Kee Mow! The Thai bubble tea is also amazing. All of the workers are so kind that you want to go back every week.

I'm so happy we tried this place! Family owned and ran and what a positive difference that makes.
We have been devoted customers of a (now temporarily closed) Kettering Thai restaurant for years. Even when I moved to Cincinnati we couldn't find anything to compare....until now! We LOVED our Chicken Pad Thai from Nida Thai.
I ordered carryout at about 8:30. Our food was ready in 10 minutes. Once I got there, I added another order and it was ready in just a couple minutes.
Flavor, speed, personality, courtesy- everything was amazing. My kids and I highly recommend! We've found a new favorite :-)

On a good note, the waiter & waitress we're nice & attentive. On the other hand, I feel bad leaving an ok review but this place seems like they're not even trying with the food. Kinda like a Thai version of an american diner. I had the spring rolls, Pad Kee Mao, & Tom Kha. It all tasted like it was out of the can and was pretty boring except the Pad Kee Mao but that was just ok as well.

Yellow curry with chicken, spice level 3 of 4 was very tasty. I plan to return often, especially for the $7.50. The lunch portion size was perfect for me--not a massive amount of food.

a tiny little restaurant where they grow hot peppers for their own food. We are always among the only people there but it is amazing! I don't normally go out for Thai food but this place is great. I've eaten here 5 times already and the food is delicious (I'm picky too), love the BBQ chicken. This is one of my daughter's top 3 restaurants as well. Service is nice, lots of dining room tables (room for about 32 inside, outdoor tables too) and take out menu. This is small family owned so not a lot of staff, be prepared to wait if busy but certainly pleasant and helpful.
