The food was great! Nice selection of vegetarian dishes and beautiful drinks. The server could tell I was hot and thirsty so he made sure my water was full at all times. I really appreciated that! The inside is a small dining area, tastefully decorated and clean.
I had the pleasure of visiting Bangkok for a late lunch. I ordered the Pot Stickers and Cheese Rolls as appetizers which were both delicious! For lunch I had the Pla-Kwe Whan, a white fried fish fillet in white sauce which was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend this as it is full of flavors and light. I paired it with a glass of white wine though to their drink menu seemed delicious. Customer service was perfect.
First time was an average experience. Take out was missing spring rolls and had to go back. Crispy pork dish had no eatable pork which was all bouncy fat. I understand it was pork belly but this was not typical belly with no meat. Rice and sauce was tasty as well as rolls. I will give them another try as I liked the staff , but maybe I misordered for me.
Top tier authentic Thai food in a cute little dining room. They get busy on a Saturday night, so service can be a little slow. Totally worth. Will be back
BBQ pork and noodles are fantastic btw. And the green curry is really nice (albeit a little mild and green eggplant is hard to come by)
The food was super delicious! The red snapper was fried to perfection and was so seasoned! The side of the fried rice was a nice serving! The waiter was super knowledgeable as well!
Start with the positive: great atmosphere, very nice inside.
Food is overpriced. Especially for the Valentineβs Day dinner which made it even worse.
Service is good from the host and manager but server was trying way too hard to extract tips. Upcharging on things, not being straight up about how much fried rice would be to add. Ended up seeing a $7 charge cause I substituted sticky for fried rice. In the end manager took it off but I had to fight her for it. She also made me a terrible Thai coffee that was $6
Mr Siri the owner is very pleasant friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful. I had the pad Thai noodles with chicken and shrimp steamed veggies spring rolls and a few days later the coconut shrimp. The atmosphere is very nice. If you ever want to go in and sit down and eat, I highly recommend.
Good

Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere in a great location. But service was inattentive, items on our order never arrived etc. This was our first visit. We will try it once more to see if service improves.
Excellent service et les pÒtes au top ! Les desserts très bon aussi.
Mais cocktail trΓ¨s chers pour ce que cβest (que du sucre), la soupe miso pas terrible
Really great food!
I came here to pick up my order, was ignored as they politely spoke with another customer with a smile! I quietly waited my turn, Iβm finally acknowledged with a blank stare, no warm greeting! Gave my name for the order that was just sitting there getting cold! He tossed the order on the counter and quickly diverted his attention elsewhere, no thanks for coming have a nice day, just Rude!
Loved the food and the sesame chicken amazing and totally different than I've ever tasted

Best Thai food in Atlanta
Uber eats had my incorrect address. I contacted the restaurant and tried to change it or cancel it, they told me that they would change the address. THEY LIED. I never got my order, and when I called the restaurant, their response was that it wasn't their problem. They sent it out to a knowingly incorrect address, charged me $69 for curry.

You will really enjoy this place. The food is absolutely wonderful! Very nice Atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend
Very good food with dishes ranging $20-30. Casual dining experience so not leaving 5 stars because dishes a little pricey for the ambiance of the locale.

This food was So Mid. I ordered the sesame chicken and spring rolls and dumplings. The sesame chicken tasted smokey burnt the spring rolls the middle was like mashed potato consistently and the the dumplings were small and meat had no flavor for $45 was some tasteless food
excellent food yummm
It was near-Thai. The food was pretty good
Felt a bit rushed while ordering, some items didnβt come out as described.
Appetizers were way too expensive for the price, but they tasted good. Service was just okay. Not a fan of the area or the restaurant itself.
I wanted this place to be good l. For being the first Thai restaurant in Atlanta, the food could be a lot better. I had the simplest of dishes: the red curry. You could tell the chicken was your typical precut supermarket slices that have probably been frozen for some time. The curry sauce was underwhelming and clearly not made in-house.
The service was subpar. Wasn't really impressed after hearing and reading other reviews π
Great food very tasty.
Cool, casual place! The service was on point and the food was packed with flavor!!
We moved to Atlanta about a month and a half ago and have tried over a dozen Thai restaurants, but most have been just okayβmaybe a B or C at best. Honestly, I was about to give up on Thai food in Atlanta until we discovered this hidden gem. Bangkok Thai Restaurant is incredible! From the ambience to the friendly, attentive staff, the crowd, and the surrounding area, everything was perfect. While we donβt live right around the corner, weβll definitely be coming back again and again.
Ordered Tom Yum Goong, ....black liquid, 2 shrimp, a few slices of white mushrooms, NO lemon grass, red thai chili's, straw mushrooms, galangal, cilantro, kaffirs lime leaves, shrimp paste, fish sauce,...If you made this in Thailand the king will execute you for sure......good luck for stealing my money. May karma have mercy!!!!
Hubby and I enjoyed our Sunday at the Aquarium and worked up in appetite and decided to follow @atlantapeach and try the Bangkok Thai Restaurant. It is one and done. My green curry full of raw vegetables was more like curry water. Hubby asked for beef but somehow it turned into Chicken. Every little thing was an extra charge. We did not try their cocktails but do not waste your trip and money. It is full thumbs down. Given it two stars is just being polite.
no contest best thai food in the perimeter. basil chicken and basil pork are out of this world. jerky is astounding. sticky rice the perfect snack. only 4/5 because the option of thai hot is a falsehood that will only get your hopes up, even after your tenth visit; pleading, begging, desperately in need of a visceral reminder of my meager and fleeting existence on this plane and instead receiving at most a 4/10 spice level.
i recommend bravadoβs ancho masala as an excellent kick in the you know where to make up for it.
Simply the best all around. I am a fan for as long as I can remember easily 15 years.
From lunch alone to a celebration dinner... I can count on being impressed!
We were going to walk on the beltline a little bit and then get some food from here, but as soon as we parked and took a step towards the beltline someone from the restaurant came out after us and told us we could not be there. We thought that their convenient location to the beltline would help attract locals to go there, however, they are not a fan of people who like to go for a walk.
I found this restaurant on Instagram when they gave me a random follow, and we decided to take a chance and dine here on a Sunday evening. It did not disappoint!
Appetizers, drinks, and entrees came out extremely quick and were high quality. Service was excellent. Highlights of the meal were the Calamari, the Softshell Crab Curry, and the Mango Stick Rice.
We'll be back!
We came to Bangkok Thai tonight to celebrate my mom's bday and it didn't disappoint. This restaurant has incredible food and excellent service. The dishes we ordered were the white fish and tofu massaman. The curry broth in both dishes were untouchable compared to other restaurants and I look forward to my next visit.
Great place. Very friendly servers. Fresh and tasty food.
Food is great!
Food was too sweet. Even Currys that says super spicy are sweet and not at all spicy. It has lots of room for improvement. I am a die-hard Thai food lover, so I know what I am saying.
Great food. Awesome Pad Thai. Not too sweet "mai wan" lol. Moo Ping was great. The bartender, I didn't catch his name, was so friendly. One of the other servers was also very nice. We came as they were closing but were still served at the bar. One of the servers, I won't point out which, was a grumpy-gus. But we didn't have to deal with him thankfully.
We didn't get to experience all the food items, obviously, but what we did have was excellent. And surprisingly the sticky rice was so flavorful and aromatic.
We're visiting from Savannah where there is no really good Thai, originally from San Diego where you have a choice of 100 Thai restaurants, and this place was definitely top notch.
Thank you to the staff for letting us eat your delicious food just before closing.
Canβt express enough how good this meal was. From the service to the flavor in the food, everything was spectacular. Would highly recommend the fried coconut shrimp and drunken noodles! Brett was awesome, most attentive and informative server weβve had in a while!
We love this place. For many years we drove by and wondered if it was any good. We finally tried it a while back and now it is part of our regular routine. The food is well priced for the quantity and quality. The flavor is worth many return trips to try different things. We also got a variety of drink specials, all of which were delicious. Looking forward to going back again soon!
Great food!!! Drinks are amazing.
Stopped in after passing by. The service was top notch. The food was very food and fairly reasonable. I'll be telling everyone to check this Thai place out for sure. I had the basil minced chicken and it was delish.
Got take out. Food was just ok. Ordered the Drunken Noodles and Ginger chicken. Came with a weird broth. Spring rolls were ok. Have had better Thai.
Visiting from Detroit. We ate there once, and ordered take out twice in a span of two days. My family canβt get enough of this place!
Consistently delicious. Much appreciated ππ½
I had the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly. It was very good. Although, pork belly is quite fatty It was actually crispy and not to greasy. I would have liked a little spicy in the dish which it did not have. I would request that next time. I got the combo which came with coconut chicken soup and dumplings. They were both very good as well. The service for our lunch party of 9 people was impeccable too! I recommend this place that has been around for years for good food in a nice atmosphere which is not too fussy.
love this place
Order the pad thai every time
The food was great
I havenβt ate here in a few months.. but almost weekly i would order the curry and the drunken noodles. LOVED BOTH. Used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants until today. I bought gyoza, combination rice, drunken noodles and curry.
The drunken noodles are now flavorless. Literally taste like boiled rice noodles with 3 drops of soy sauce. The chicken is DRY. I mean DRY. And also flavorless. 1/5 stars
The curry is fine. Itβs $23 for shrimp (what i bought) and itβs 5 shrimps with green beans and red peppers, and watered down curry sauce. Very mild flavored. Quality is 2/5. Stars
And βcombination riceβ had 1 piece of shrimp, 3 strands of beef and the rest was the same DRY DRY chicken. Quality of rice was mid tier. 2/5 stars.
I will not be eating here again.
I spent $96 on flavorless low quality food.
The portions have decreased and the prices have decreased as well. Thai spice is 10x better!!!
I love Thai food but unfortunately dont have any where I live. So I always try to get some when I travel. I had the green curry and itβs the real deal. Very fresh veggies. About a 6 or 7 on the Thai spiciness scale, which is what I liked. Paired it with a Thai ginger mule. Very nice!
i had such an amazing time with amazing plates while the manager anne accommodated us so well that we will be back extremely often!!! new favorite restaurant
Amazing staff! :)
Very nice flavors and atmosphere. Dishes are authentic but serving sizes, at least for lunch, were small. That coupled with the cost knock my star rating from a five to a four. I had Pla-knew-when and hot tea and my wife had Sesame Chicken and a Diet Coke. Lunch cost over $40 with tipβ¦.no alcohol.
Very delicious food. My kids also devoured their plates! Highly recommend!
Ordered Pad Thai to go. Iβm in trouble knowing good Pad Thai is this close to home. Everyone was nice and I had eaten half of it before I even got home it was so good. π
They got my order wrong. I called and was spoken to so rudely. I was cut off repeatedly and spoken to in such a condescending way.
I was shocked.
We ate here 5.14.24 for the first time. I ordered the Khoa Soi Kai and my partner ate a fried white fish dish, both of which were very yummy. The service was friendly and on top of things and the restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom. The main issue we found were the Jeeb dumplings that we shared prior to the entrees. They were quite nutty, tasting pretty heavily of possibly sesame oil, and it was difficult to taste any other flavor such as the pork. I have never had these dumplings before so I am unsure if this is supposed to be the case, but they were not bad either way and the actual issue came later. Unfortunately, both my partner and I had major stomach upset for the rest of the night and this was the only meal and only dish we shared together. I have reviewed the ingredients of the meal since then to make sure it wasn't us missing an ingredient that we don't agree with but unfortunately I think the dumplings just didn't sit right, even with my partner's ironclad stomach. Despite this experience, everything else was great and I would still try this spot again.
We both ordered the Massam Curry π with spring rolls, and it did not disappoint! π
The presentation was beautiful, and the food was even better! I almost cried because it was soooo good!
Our server, Palm, was very attentive and kind. He definitely made us feel like special guests.
10 out of 10 recommended ππ½ π
Hands down one of the best Thai Restaurants in Atlanta, GA!
I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Food and service were both 10/10, and the pricing is very fair for the portions (theyβre huge!) I liked how for the spice options, the βthai hotβ is actually very spicy, but not in a way whereβs it just hot and not enjoyable. Try the pineapple fried rice, and add some spice to it! It was delicious. This was my first time but will definitely wonβt be my last!
Edit (April 23): Came back multiple times just for the pineapple fried rice again. How do they even make that Thai Hot flavor?? I canβt get over it. I regularly think about it, I believe Iβm addicted at this point. Service is also always 10/10!
We happened upon this place as we were starving and on a bike ride. Not too far off the beltline, very near botanical gardens. We were pleased that they served us, as we entered 20 minutes before closing. The service was excellent and atmosphere good. Weβd give the food a 3/5. Noodles were a bit mushy tasting.
Fast and delicious! Spacey wait staff.
Chicken rice is overpriced. $15 for only a few pieces of chicken.
The best thai in Atlanta β€οΈ
Me and my friend went and order to go through the phone, we came in and our order was already messed up, my friend order plain fried rice and gave her shrimp fried rice, but we didnβt notice till we got back. We called them prior from getting there to let them know and they still didnβt understand what she was asking for bc her daughter was allergic to shrimp, we got there and they gave us total disrespect to the point we had to refund, iβll give them a 0 if i could.
We were surprised by the new menu, the street food was phenomenal, the pork had a delicious flavor and was very crispy, I recommend this silver 100%, the pineapple fried rice was delicious but it doesn't beat the street pork combo.
One of my go-to takeout spots. Delicious everytime!
Good good. So good I forgot to take photos of the entries. I had the ginger chicken dish which was very flavorful. A friend of mine had a dish with drunken noodles. My eyes being bigger than my stomach, I almost ordered the drunken noodles, just to be glutinous. Service was attentive as well. 5ge venue is a good size, and it was not overcrowded at arrival not during our dinner outing.
Tasty Thai food. Fried rice, basil chicken, and ginger chicken are my favorite.
Weak food, poorly cooked AND seasoned. BLAND. Nice people, but not worth going back. Overpriced as well. The desserts were 9 dollars but I can get better Tiramisu at Publix. Iβm sorry we picked it.
Get the crispy pork. Some of the best Iβve had
Had takeout. The green and Panang curry was excellent! Good size portions.
My go to Thai restaurant in Atlanta. Jim a regular and love the drunken noodle Thai hot. Also, if youβre a fan of calamari, get it! The sauce is so good.
My friend and I dined at Bangkok Thai around 4pm on Thursday, 28 December 2023. We both ate a fried calamari appetizer. I then ate shrimp green curry, and he ate shrimp panang curry. This was our only shared meal this week. We do not live together. We both awoke during the night around 4am experiencing severe stomach pain, headaches, diarrhea, and vomiting. We both spent the following two days in bed, while continuing to experience diarrhea, vomiting, fevers, and chills.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner here on Christmas Eve. She is allergic to coconut, so the server was careful to suggest safe items us to order. She had the Ginger chicken & Tum Yum shrimp soup. We shared the Cheese Rolls, which were a type of crab rangoon style sticks. I had the Pla Khew Whan, fried white fish fillets but we substituted the coconut milk sauce with Massaman. The food was delicious, and the portions were good for the price.
Good food good service I have eaten here several times
Super over priced. Pad Thai was super dry and honestly had no taste or spice, it was like eating mushy cardboard. Spring rolls were soggy and cold. Also got the tiramisu and it was tiny and just tasted bland! I would def recommend a different Thai restaurant.
Soo good!
Tucked away in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a taste of authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and inviting aroma of spices, instantly transporting you to the bustling streets of Bangkok.
The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. We were a group of nine, and they were happy to accommodate us with a spacious table at the back of the restaurant. The extensive menu features a wide variety of dishes, from traditional favorites like pad thai and curries to more adventurous options for those seeking a spicier experience.
I opted for the Hot Green Curry, and it was a revelation. After years of searching, I finally found a restaurant that could deliver the authentic heat I craved. The curry was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous. My friends were equally impressed with their choices, raving about the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Massaman Curry.
While the restaurant's interior might not be the most modern, it's clean and comfortable, and the focus is clearly on the food. The friendly and attentive staff made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations.
Overall, Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere, this is the place for you. Just be prepared for some serious heat if you order the Hot Green Curry!
Get the Tea Rose appetizer. Delicious!
I thought the food was below average..lacked authentic Thai flavor that I was looking for. My cocktail was also lackluster. I got the pear martini and it was a bit syruppy. I wouldnβt return as thereβs other great Thai options in the city.
I had the coconut shrimp I have to save itβs the best I ever had but. The waitresses both the Asian guy and the African lady couldnβt comprehend that I wanted steamed rice and gravy. I didnβt want meat. I told the guys not to worry about it he says thank you and walks off like heβs irritated. My cousin ordered a margarita he with don julio he proceeded to give her house the margarita wasnβt a margarita in a martini glass. I told he to just get a shot to make it simple for them smh. The language barrier is horrible. I would love to eat here but they canβt even understand what Iβm asking for.
Great for lunch .. love the food and service . Very authentic
Portions extremely small for same price of other Thai restaurants. I think models eat more than the size of these dishes. Less than two hours later was eating at Moe's taqueria
Food is average, better Thai options available in and around Atlanta. Not authentic Thai. Dishes came out one at a time including appetizers. Seems only 1 dish can be made at a time. Friendly and great service is about the only real positive about this place.
Food was amazing but portion size could be improve!
Food is delicious and the servers when dining in are wonderful. Canβt say that about the you lady behind the counter. Every time we come sheβs not friendly and broader line rude. Placed a to go order and when it came out she threw the bag on the counter. Coming for a hospitality background I find this to be very unprofessional. Her attitude just stinks.
BEWARE they will add their own numbers on the tip line at the bar for TOGO orders. Compare your receipts to your credit card statements
Got delivery. Was delishious. Would order again
Customer service was wonderful. The restaurant was clean and decor was nice. The food was delicious and was served quickly. I will definitely visit this location again.
Seriously, WOW! Wow wow wow. Very impressed. So fresh and homemade. Excellent friendly service. Wide variety of menu options. Spring rolls and chicken satay in particular were top knotch. I'll remember this place and wish I lived here so I could come back again soon.
Amazing food! Always did pick up and it was ready in 15 minutes. Portions are great for what you pay and itβs delicious!
Always great service. I'm impressed
Decent food. Good presentation. Price for the area as expected. Above average
Amazing staff. Order here all the time. Fresh food. And everything they make is amazing. I love their curry and lard Kai. Definitely a place to check out.
Had their Drunken Noodle and it has everything I love! Very good and cute waiters.
Best Thai on Atl. And they do serve sweet sticks rice!β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
The food is off the chain, if you are looking for thai food restaurant, the food is real good so is the dessert. I was so full, I can't wait to go back. Next time I will leave a tip because the food was that good. I had take out that was the only reason I didn't leave a tip.
Our dining experience was not great. Dinner was not edible. Soup didn't taste good. We were so disappointed. Had been looking forward to eating here for a while.
Always great food!
Really good service. Their beef jerky is phenomenal!
This place gave me food poisoning a few weeks ago
Love the tiramisu, great attention! Comeback soon ;)
Food was good, service kinda sucked. No one spoke to us for a while after we were sitting, and I made sure it was seat yourself. After the bar tender notified our server the service was ok. Cheese sticks are delicious though, I would probably order for pick up again in the future.
3/2/23...I had the mild drunken noodle with chicken to go and it was SO DELICIOUS! Flavors were great and the little brown box it came in was too cute. Definitely ordering from here again!!
Edit: 3/3/23...Ordered again; drunken noodles and basil fried rice via Uber Eats for lunch. Very disappointed because this time I ordered with a coworker who wanted to try since I raved about the noodles day before. She tried it and said tasted weird. I tried and it definitely had a weird aftertaste like it was cooked in the same cookware after something else. We decided not to eat it. The rice was ok, but wasn't as flavorful as I'd anticipated. 1st experience was great. Maybe I won't order during lunch rush anymore; 1st order was around 3pm. I'll edit again if I try.
Nice atmosphere and delicious Red Snapper.
Delicious! Loved the Jeeb (Tea rose Thai dumpling) and Massaman
While the atmosphere is kinda of basic for a small space, it's very clean and welcoming. Loved the menu options and the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff / service was on point. I will definitely return for more next time I'm near the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
We waited 10min inside before being seated for lunch and when we finally received the menu it was 2:35 and we were told that after 2:30 we had to order of the dinner menu. The dinner menu is a copy of the lunch menu except everything is $4 more expensive. So besides this is being a ripoff there was also a bug on the spring roll when it came out and they only laughed. I will never recommend this place!!!!
We walked here one night and just randomly got food. Our meals came out at different times, and my wife's soup was lukewarm and she did not enjoy it. I got beef and peppers, and it was very low grade beef. Prices are low, but the service and quality are slow and low. Strong pass.
The calamari is amazing. The only place I get it!
Very fast friendly service
Delicious food
Food is mediocre, while at the same time, original in presentation. Service and waitstaff above average. Atmosphere already feeling dated.
The food here is overpriced . Not a must visit place. We had pad kee mao- chicken and noodles was very chewy did not feel fresh , fried coconut shrimp- very less quantity and green chicken curry - was okay. Thai tea- was charged extra for no ice.
Nice little restaurant and the staff was friendly. Food was pretty good and fresh.
Great Thai meal. Reasonably priced and served by warm welcoming staff.
I walked in and the cross legged guy in the front ,that I guess is supposed to be the bartender ,or whatever is sitting in a chair on his phone. Didnβt even bother to stand up when I talked to him and looked like me like I was asking too much when I ordered my food to go. For a second I thought because of how rude he was they were about to close . I would have said donβt bother if I wasnβt off work and starving . Definitely will never be back .
I got the Shrimp Tom Yum Soup with 6 mushroom slices and 2 piece of shrimp for $7. That's laughably bad... And it's a side dish potion at BEST.
It was a to go order and tastes good but I can't say I'm jumping to try anything else with prices like that and portions like that
