I love this place! They have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options, and the food is always delicious. I recently ordered the pineapple fried rice without egg, and it exceeded my expectations. We also had vegan sushi rolls, which tasted fresh, and the presentation was lovely! They have an amazing bubble tea and smoothie menu there as well. Every flavor I've tried so far has been delicious; my son swears that the cherry bomb boba was the best ever. The prices are fair, and the staff is patient and accommodating.

We have been craving, and I mean CRAVING, this place since the last time we were here. Getting my hot and spicy drunken noodle dish that just blows me away. Even Janeen is getting it this time. Trying this Thai beer from Bankok for the first time. It's great. Has a flavor at the finish that I absolutely cannot place (and that's very rare for me. I have a nack for picking out just about every ingredient in any dish I eat.) Our waitress (I believe the owner LOL) also talked me into a "blanket shrimp" appetizer while we wait. Beware that lady. She's very hard to say no to. Lol (for those that don't already know, they have Bubble Tea here too)

The staff here is wonderful! This place is very clean, the food is the best sushi around! The staff were cheerful the entire time we dined in and were on top of their game waiting our table. Not only was the sushi good but, so are the appetizers and the Boba drinks. I haven't had this good of food in a very long time. We will definitely make this place a regular place to visit. Also, I think their prices are the best around. You have to try this place, you won't be disappointed!

Don't get decieved by rating 4.6....This restaurant has got 25 - 1 star and 12 - 2 star ratings.. there is a reason why.. that guy who is serving customers i don't know if he is a manager or cleaner, he has got negative approach towards customers... not welcoming at all...no respect to customers...Worst Sushi....Sushi doesnt say whether it is cooked or raw... pls be carefull before ordering Sushi... Overall i would say worst experience.. Not recommended...

Tried this place for the first time earlier today. When I walked in I was greeted by an enthusiastic waitress who was eager to please. She suggested some popular options on the menu and I ended up getting the drunken noodles, which were delicious and were served hot. I also tried their Thai tea, which was also fantastic. All in all I had a great first experience here and would definitely recommend them. I was the only one in the restaurant when I visited so if you’re thinking of trying this place, definitely recommend it.

What a GEM!!!! We found this restaurant by accident. It is tucked away in a strip of stores and is very unassuming. But don't let that cloud the impact of this place. Terrific Thai food, right here in North Canton, Ohio. We started with Steamed Dumplings. Then my husband had Curry and I had the Thai Pho. We have only moved to this area in the last 2 years and just found this restaurant. IF you love Thai food, this is your place to go. The staff was wonderful and the atmosphere is fine. Fully stocked bar too. Can't say enough about it.

I had a very good experience at Thai Lanna & Sushi Bar. There is a good selection of food, with the main meals averaging around $15. The portions were just the right size and the food was very flavorful. The spice scale ranges from 1 to 10, but if you're not sure them they can always bring you out the spice container to kick it up a notch. The establishment was clean and had a nice atmosphere with low lighting. Sometimes there are live bands. Our waitress was great, answered any questions that we had and didn't make us wait forever to get the check. I will be eating here again. Make sure to try the bubble tea. The new smoothies are also a great value.

Joy was great. Joy made us feel special, best atmosphere. Really you are going to spend $15- $25. Food was excellent and six is just perfect amount of heat.

Had been excited to try this place as everyone says how good it is! Well had the chix pad Thai last night and it was just ok. It was a little bland and not much bean sprouts, eggs or peanuts mostly carrots and noodles. I’ve had better. The chix satay was 4 little screwers of dried up chix not the most pleasant to look at taste was just ok. Will maybe give it another chance and try the PHO but so far it was nothing great. Dissapointed.

Started eating here over the past year. At first it was a favorite. The last two times, it’s been absolutely terrible. The second to last time the food was bad, overly sweetened and salted to the point it seemed intentional. It’s been a while since then, so two nights ago my daughter and I ate here for dinner hoping things had improved. We’re both extremely sick over the weekend with what seems to be food borne illness. Probably should’ve went to the ER just to escalate this to the health department, but we survived. We did not order raw food either. We will never go back. And what a waste of money too, because it’s not the most affordable.

I am shocked that this place isn’t busier. The pad Thai is amazing and I’m working my way to try all the curries. Everyone that works there treats you like family. A baby was crying and none of the adults could appease him. The server came over and gave him his own personal smoothie and he was so happy. Highly recommended!

I love Thai food and Thai Lanna did not disappoint. My wife and I sat outside, we had a wonderful young lady who offered great service. We ordered a sushi roll, and 2 entrees. The sushi was excellent. I ordered the drunken noodles, at a level 7 heat. It had awesome flavor, fresh ingredents, and a big portion too. My wife had the Pad Thai, and she really enjoyed it. Even their iced tea was very good. We will be back to try more of the menu!

The server was great the chive dumpling were the bomb and the steam dumplings were meaty my mom loved the crab racoon and my dad loved the spring rolls the meal were great also and the dessert was perfect and a bubble tea to go made for a great evening!

2022: updating my review: I went with a friend on a Friday night. They weren't busy but the food was delicious and the service was much faster than I experienced in the past, however I didn't get sushi this time. I had the pho and enjoyed it. The server was very friendly. I love their new larger selection of boba tea, the taro was perfect.

I really enjoy this place but lately we've had to wait longer than normal for our sushi and I noticed that the "spicy" rolls all have the same sauce which makes their flavors taste similar. My Taro Boba Tea was perfect though and I really like the servers.

I really want to love this place, but they make it hard to do so. I usually order takeout, with wildly inconsistent results. Pictured is an order of basil fried rice that was loaded with a bagged mix of vegetables (green beans, carrots, peas, and corn) straight out of the freezer aisle. Other times, it's a great mix of fresh veggies. It's a different experience every visit -- usually good, occasionally amazing, but too frequently disappointing. Spice level is always a toss-up, too.

It was so simple but just so sweet it touched my heart lol. We had like a one minute interaction and her energy was just so positive and sweet it made my whole day. Along with that their food is so good, I LOVE their kimchi and fried rice. Always feels so fresh and more *real* compared to a lot of other restaurants. Love this place. My first time here. Saw their videos on Facebook and wanted to give them a try. Service started out a little sketchy, but was good by the end. I'm a big ramen eater, and I was disappointed with the ramen here. The broth was flavorless. I did like the chive dumplings. I will go again and try the curry.

I’ve passed this place multiple times and finally decided to stop. Let me tell you, I’m glad I did. From the beginning, the staff was so welcoming and helpful. They offered to make our food not as spicy/spicier and refilled drinks as soon as they got low. The prices are great, the staff is amazing, and the food is to die for. I really recommend !

Best customer service my husband and I have ever had! Food is so amazing and fresh as well! Our waitress Joy saw that I had picked a spice level that was a little too much for me and noticed me struggling so she not only offered to add egg to it to make it less spicy for me, then brought me a cup of white rice, and then even brought us a sweet dessert she said to help cool it down all out of her own willingness and at no extra cost! She was very very sweet and said that Thai food is a lot different of a spice level. Their boba tea and Thai dumplings were absolutely excellent as well. We highly recommend this place.

I got chicken pho. Please understand I'll never be back because this was so disappointing. Not only is the broth water there was a dash of hoisin, no onions, basil, Cilantro, very little bean sprouts, 1 baby wedge of lime. I have never seen this before.

Best Thai food I’ve had in town! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. I had the green curry and it was fantastic. The coconut milk broth is rich and creamy, and the chicken and vegetables balanced the dish nicely. I want to go back and try all the other curries—the Lanna pork curry looked insanely good.
The larb salad was a highlight of the night as well as the dumplings.
I would highly suggest getting some hot sake as well!

Thai Lanna is a hidden gem with phenomenal, authentic Thai food in Canton, OH! The owner, Joy, *is* a joy and a wonderful hostess. My family and I enjoyed the chive dumplings, larb salad, green panang curry, gang hung lae, and an assortment of sushi rolls. The curries had a great, uncommon depth of flavor and the larb was wonderfully refreshing. You have got to go! You will not only get to enjoy some very delicious food but also be entertained by a highly energetic and charming hostess. We can't wait to go back! 5 stars for Thai Lanna!

My wife and I decided to give it a try. The food was neither spectacular nor bad, but I was rather disappointed in how absolutely mild the hot ramen was, especially since they charge extra for the "Thai hot" and I felt literally zero heat from it. I'm sure if you're a lightweight on spicy food there might be heat, but if you're like me and think "finally, a place that might actually be hot enough for me" you're going to be very disappointed.

I always give spiciness level a lot more weight when it's the main draw. Given it was advertised as "super hot" and they even charge extra for the hottest level I felt rather cheated.

Well, if you want to have a wonderful dinning expereince then Thai Lanna is the place to eat. The tastes are magical. I have tried over 10 different dishes and each one is my favorite. I drive from out of town and I can say this restaurant has great atmosphere super people and great prices. Five stars, no questions!

I was with my grandma and in need of some quick boba tea, so I randomly ended up finding this place. They some have the best boba tea I've ever tried! The atmosphere was cozy and chill, when you walk in there's a mini fountain that adds to the "cozy" part. If you are looking for some quick boba tea at a reasonable price with many options to choose from, this is the place to go!

The food and service were excellent! Staff were friendly and helpful in thinking through choices. Prices were right on par for quality sushi. The sushi was presented great and tasted the same.

The atmosphere was okay. Kinda chilly and especially if you sit by the window, which is under a vent point straight down at you. Also, the booth seats slide, which made getting out a little awkward as I had to push the booth seat back in.

My husband and I were super excited to find this little place as we love bubble tea and Thai food! What a disappointment! The bubble tea was delicious but the food and service was ridiculous. My husband ordered the Phuket Fish which is $18.95. It was supposed to be fish topped with a spicy sauce, the picture online shows a whole fish. We were served a tiny piece of fried fish which looked very unappetizing. The fish was dry and overcooked but the sauce and vegetables was okay. Cannot believe we paid $19 for it though. The guy that took our order…who I later found out was the manager was rude and pushed us to order quickly even though I asked to look at a menu. What was worse is I also ordered a mango fried rice with tofu. When we got home, we found out that we didn’t have the mango fried rice. I called the restaurant back and a girl answered. She was very polite and apologized for the mistake and said she would grab the guy who took our order as he was the manager. He proceeded to tell me I was in the wrong, I had not ordered it. His exact words were, “I don’t personally make mistakes…I don’t own two million-dollar businesses because I make mistakes…if you had ordered it, it would have been in there.”. He told me that I hadn’t ordered it, hadn’t paid for it, argued with me about what we had ordered and then told me that I was lying. When I told him that his customer service needed some work…he told me it was just fine.

Go here for the bubble tea but skip the food…a TOTAL waste of money and try not to run into the manager because he’ll just mess up your order and then accuse you of lying.

This place serves the best Pad Thai. It has a great atmosphere and friendly people. I would recommend this place for many reasons. We were seated right away. The server was very attentive to our needs. The hot tea was excellent.

WOW! LOVE THIS PLACE! The food is amazing, great flavor. The young ladies working their guided this novice through the menu. Everything tasted very fresh. We got multiple sushi options fried rice and a dish called Thai basil. For those on a strict Paleo, or keto diet the rice on the Thai basil is served on the side. The dish is loaded with meat and veges. The crab Rangoon tasted like it was made fresh and with real crab. The vege spring rolls fresh and tasty. The sushi rolls (crispy French, California, and spicy crab) were awesome! All tasted very fresh.

My mom has terminal cancer, and we had just left Tricounty Hematology for her bloodwork appointment, and I had my 2 young kids. We wanted boba, but we saw they didn’t open until 12 noon, and we would have to wait for 20 minutes. My mom can’t do as much as she used to be able to due to being weak and less energy. So, I thought we would have to just give up on the idea of boba (which would upset the kids), but the owner (I think) saw us out there and opened the door and waved us in. She was so accommodating and sweet. We ended up having a combination of food and boba! It was a great day! I just couldn’t believe they opened and let us in. Answered questions about the menu and boba. THANK YOU for giving us a great experience when we don’t know how much time we have left with my mom! Time and moments are everything!

We also had vegan sushi rolls, which tasted fresh, and the presentation was lovely! They have an amazing bubble tea and smoothie menu there as well. Every flavor I've tried so far has been delicious; my son swears that the cherry bomb boba was the best ever. The prices are fair, and the staff is patient and accommodating.

Best sushi in Ohio

We stopped by and had Beef Pho and some Sushi. Has a nice atmosphere and good food. We will definitely visit again!

The food is great, the sushi is even better. The only issue I had was with the thick black hair in my crab Rangoon, they took it off my bill though. The food runner does not have very good customer service skills or restaurant etiquette. He likes to hover. The bubble tea is the best in town, I will come back.

The food was very tasty, everything from the appetizer to the dessert was really good. The atmosphere was nice too. Nice staff and very welcoming. We enjoyed the entire experience. Definitely going back soon.

Went with a group of 5, all waiters and waitresses were very attentive. Ordered 3 apps and all were amazing. Drunken noodles were absolutely delicious. My 5 year old who is typically very picky loved the crab rangoons and thai dumplings. She also thought the water was the coolest thing because it came in a boba cup. Will be coming back many more times.

Highly recommend. Got the Chicken Satay and Crab Ragoons for appetizers and the drunken noodle as entre, it was just as spicy as it was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you have never been or eaten Thai before.

We love Thai food so wanted to check this place out. Food was good- we got pad thai and drunken noodles. It was very busy so the service wasn’t what I had hoped. They had brought our bill before they even finished bringing out our food- which they forgot our sushi. Also, I don’t recommend sitting next to the windows if it’s cold outside- it was freezing! The owner gave us some sake for messing up our order. Would try again if we were in the area.

My husband and I tried this place as a quick pick up, and we were so delighted, our sushi didn’t even make it home. When we got there we found out about their milk teas and we tried one and it was so good and every roll we got was amazing. The rice was cooked excellently and the portions were perfect, and even with carry out the presentation was so nice. We can’t wait to recommend and frequent this establishment! We were given great recommendations and the service was amazing!

I’ve been to my fair share of Thai restaurants and this one is definitely authentic and I cant Wait to eat here again!! Besides the Thai food you must try the Bubble Tea too , it’s SOOOOO GOOD !!! Can’t wait to be back soon !

Best food around! Every dish is always fresh. I love their fried rice and crab Rangoon’s. Another favorite is drunken noodles. Can’t miss out on their pad Thai dish either. They also have a drive thru window. The staff is Amazingly friendly every time I come in! Bubble tea and amazing dessert. Highly recommend

My favorite restaurant in the area. The beef pho is fantastic and the taro bubble tea is great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can’t get enough of Thai Lanna. You won’t be disappointed.

First time in Ohio, looking for some authentic Pho. It was definitely delicious, broth had the right flavor/aromatics you would want in a good pho that can be hard to find! Also, they had 4.99 on simple sushi rolls on Monday nights, I had a few for an app and they were very fresh and delicious. Only thing I would have hoped for was more Cilantro and bean sprouts to mix into my Pho, but that's more of a personal preference, and I'm sure I could gave asked for it. 😆 staff were super kind and attentive. Place has a nice atmosphere. 👌

Delicious Boba, tasty sushi, and great pho

Today we ordered the Lanna Pork Curry, and the pineapple chicken fried rice. The pork was amazing super tender the flavors they work into dishes makes it a must stop for those looking for a great meal. I have tired their Pad Thai, Hot Ramen, spring rolls and a few of their sushi rolls. Zero complaints, not only is the food amazing but the staff are super friendly. 10 out of 10 for sure.

What happened to this place!? It used to be so great - a local business with great food and great people. Now, they can’t season food correctly, and seem to serve old gray chicken. We threw out our entire order when we brought it home. Please get good again.

Ate there last night for the first time. Food was fantastic, staff is wonderful. Prices aren’t cheap but nothing is anymore. Wife and I had sushi, appetizers, kimchi, soup. It was all amazing.

Delicious pas Thai, sushi, and milk tea!

I got two drinks I ordered online. It took us 10 minutes after ordering to arrive at the store. They ask our name and walk away.
They took around 30 minutes of us sitting there and me coming inside to ask if anything was done with the drink to make them. On top of it all, TWO people behind us were given their drinks within 10-15 minutes.

The best Pho in town. We also had sushi for an appetizer and it was excellent. I highly recommend.

This is the best sushi around though for real my wife and I have been going here since they opened. Get the Maui roll!

I love their food they are also very friendly, they have Boba(bubble) tea and I was having a hard time choosing one so they told me the tiger milk tea is their favorite so I got it and I highly recommend it, I also got some sushi and crab Rangoon it was so good.

The staff here is wonderful! This place is very clean, the food is the best sushi around! The staff were cheerful the entire time we dined in and were on top of their game waiting our table. Not only was the sushi good but, so are the appetizers and the Boba drinks. I haven't had this good of food in a very long time. We will definitely make this place a regular place to visit. Also, I think their prices are the best around. You have to try this place, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped in on my lunch break and grabbed a boba milk tea and dumplings as well as a sushi roll. First off, the dumplings were AMAZING, soft and flavorful - I am hooked. The sushi was a house recommendation and it is also so good, you get the crunch and multiple layers of flavor. The milk tea was perfect too. The employees were so nice and friendly. I cant wait to go back again and try more food from their menu.

The best Thai & Sushi! My husband and I have been for lunch, dinner & take out. Every time we’ve had an excellent meal that is so fresh and so good! The topper is staff! They’re all very attentive and welcoming.

My family and I going in 12/03/2022 at 8:30 were greeted at the door with smiles,everyone there so nice and happy to my 2 year old son and my filiapina wife, (MEM) was our server was so polite and described our dishes we ordered with 100% accuracy (how it would taste),the food and suhi and bubble tea was the best I have had anywhere, (MEM) made excellent choices for us when we couldn't decide off the menu.The prices are very fair for the amount of food and taste,we will definitely be back.

She was very welcoming when I walked, she explained the drunken noodles well. I had a level 3 spice, it's was pretty hot, I think a 2 would have been better for me. But 3 was definitely good, would not go to a level 4. The spring rolls were delicious. The gentleman who brought out my food was attentive and very polite. I will definitely be bringing my family and best friend back for ramen and cocktails next time. The atmosphere was quiet with good music definitely a place you can enjoy and relax on your own if you need some quiet time, they don't hover over you either which was very nice.

We get great service when ever we go to this wonderful spot to eat. Try the "bubble" tea. It's fun.

This is the BEST PLACE for Thai food and Sushi!!! Every time my husband and I go there we have a wonderful experience. We had at least 4 workers serve us and make us literally feel we were the most important people there . It was medium busy and the other tables were also being treated the same . The wonton soup blew my mind . Love these people and place!!!

We just love this place! I have tried multiple dishes and have never been disappointed. I spent a month in Thailand, and the food, service, and atmosphere is as close to traditional Thai as you can get.

ALWAYS great food! Our order was wrong but we kept the meal anyway because it was so outstanding! The decor improves each time we visit. Staff is friendly and courteous. I have been there many times.

The prices were high. I don’t mind supporting local businesses, but the meal seemed to fall short in quality for what you’re paying. I could’ve shared a nice steak dinner or chosen another place to eat. I’ll probably venture over for bubble tea, but I won’t go out of my way to buy any food. I could’ve spent money on takeout that was of a better quality.

We have eaten here at least a half dozen times and never disappointed!! The food and service are amazing!! Love to see the owner cooking and serving tables!! Dedication and locally owned businesses!
