Traditional Thai dishes & drinks in a casual setting with rustic interiors & patio seating.
This has become a regular spot for us. We rarely go outside our favorite Pad Thai and Fried Rice with a spring roll starter. It's just right. Nothing is in your face. Flavors are bright and deep. Fresh. At first you wonder about the portion but there's plenty! Great service in an intimate space. It's a craving that comes up now.
Went to Larb Thai on a Friday evening with friends for the first time and we all really enjoyed it! My friend had a Cosmo and said it it was very good and the rest of us enjoyed our glasses of various house wines.
I loved my Veggie Kaprow - the presentation was nice and the colors so vibrant & so tasty. Others had chicken teriyaki, a chicken curry and an eggplant dish and happy with their choices. Also had Crispy Fried Tofu which was great with the dipping sauce. The waitress was friendly and attentive- thank you for a nice evening!
A Valentine's Day Aftermath That Sucked More Than a Black Hole
We decided to grace this place with our presence the day after Valentine's Day, hoping for a decent lunch. The place was emptier than my ex's promises, so you'd think they'd be grateful for our patronage. But no, the food was the only thing that didn't completely suck – it was just okay, like eating cardboard with a hint of flavor.
The service? Oh boy, it was like watching a clown show where the clowns are also the audience. One server was munching on her lunch while serving us, juggling our dishes like it was some sort of circus act. She didn't even bother writing down our order; instead, she kept coming back, asking the same questions like she had the memory of a goldfish.
And then, they started yapping about us in their native tongue – yeah, we could tell it wasn't about the weather. Feeling like we were in some sort of live roasting session, we decided to call it quits.
When it came time to pay, they hit us with three bills: one for $50, one for $15, and another for $19. We tipped 15%, which is more than they deserved, but on our way out, after a quick pit stop in the restroom, the server – who was also the owner, surprise surprise – accused us of only leaving 10%! She demanded more money with the audacity of a pirate demanding gold, saying, "Most people tip 20%."
We were baffled, asking if tipping was now a law. She just rolled her eyes like a slot machine and practically shoved us out the door.
Never again. If you must, get takeout, but even then, expect your food to have been spat on by disgruntled clowns. This place is a disaster, and the owner? A real piece of work. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy paying for your own public shaming.
Restaurant decoration was so elegant. Lovely details everywhere from the paintings on the wall to the flower faucets in the bathroom.
Food and drink was amazing! We ordered crying tiger--the beef was soooo tender and the sauce was unique and awesome! The duck dish was my favorite duck dish in a long time. Crispy breaded skin with tender duck meat and again, unique sauce. Out of this world! My partner had a basil drink and I had a mango martini, both were refreshing and very tasty.
Sad that the little restaurant was kind of empty on a Saturday night when we visited. Hopefully more people can go out there and enjoy the super great Thai food.
Update 2024: Still unbeatable Thai food. The nicest owner and crew, and the absolute best quality food. Thankful to have this place within driving distance!

Updated Aug 2018: Still the best Thai food around, period. The owner used to have (I think two?) restaurants in DC for years before 'retiring' out here. There's no comparison in the Cleveland are that I've found. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out.

Amazing food. The owner is the absolute nicest woman. I plan on going here over and over.
had another great meal at Larb Thai in Brunswick. their Me Krob is sweet and tangy and addicting. Their spicy cashew chicken. was near perfect. always can use more cashews. We struggled with the Tiger Cry Beef. a bit fatty and the sauce had a bizarre taste. The spring rolls with crunchy and spot on. finally my wife’s Lychee Martini was fantastic.
First of all the wonton soup and spring rolls are amazing. Probably some of the best I’ve had in the area. I ordered the pad Thai and was not really a fan because it tasted quite fishy. Service was great and we enjoyed the small atmosphere. I most certainly will be back for the spring rolls and wonton soup.

Love the Tom Yum Soup! Perfect meal on a cold night.
Always make you feel so welcome and food is quite extraordinary. Love the pad Thai and cashew chicken. Wonton soup is amazing and fried wontons.
Used to be awesome. Now food is mediocre, appetizers over priced and service curt at best.

Amy is just a pleasure!
Food is always delicious 😋

This is one of my favorite Thai places near Cleveland. We make the 30 min drive to come here all the time because it’s so worth it! The crying tiger is amazing and so is the oayaya salad!
Found a hair in my food.
Unfortunately it was for to go so I couldn't show them or return it.
Disgusting
5 stars everywhere. Pricey but amazing food, good atmosphere for a date or special occasions.
Warm atmosphere, delicious food. Parang curry is my favorite!
We were really suspicious about a Thai restaurant in this area. So far we never got a real authentic thai restaurant, but Larb really surprised us. It was absolutely amazing. The food was very nice. We had the red curry with chicken, duck Krapow, satay chicken and springrolls. Perfect. The service is really nice. We will be back.
This is the cutest Thai restaurant. We got the pot stickers, panang curry, and the chicken kaprow. I wish we had Thai like this in Michigan!
The food was excellent.

Another awesome visit the food is amazing and fresh. Thank you

Excellent food, excellent service.
Thank you!! Sorry we were a 1/2 late for our reservations.

It’s been quite some time since I felt I had a perfect meal. My wife and I ordered Thom Kha soup, Wonton soup and fried pot stickers to start. Panang curry and Pad Thai with a serving of spring rolls for the entree. We washed it all down with a Thai basil gimlet and a mango martini. Everything from beginning to end was exceptional!
Favorite Thai food restaurant I’ve ever been to. Great staff
This place is hands down the best restaurant in Brunswick 🙌
This is the only other Thai restaurant that’s close to me. The food is fantastic. I’ve been there twice and loved every minute of it. This is another one that I’ve been to twice only to find them not open their hours. Say they are open from 1130 till sometime at night, but when I got there and found them close, I realized, they change their hours and now open somewhere around 4 pm. I prefer not to waste my time going to places that can’t even decide when they’re open or closed.
Best food I've had in awhile. Truly got 3 appetizers and 2 entrees. Nothing but pure bliss of flavor. Try the duck I promise it's crazy good!!
Drunken Noodles and Ginger Tea is amazing!!
What a neat place. The food was good. Not sugary like a lot of Thai restaurants.
Food is very tasty
The restaurant is rather small but quaint. The parking lot is very small. The waitresses are rude and want to turn the tables quickly so they will rush you. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the beef with noodles and broccoli. The beef was very fatty and gristly. The noodles tasted like they were made in a pan that was not washed for weeks. They had a slight burnt oil flavor. The broccoli was very very tiny pieces. I will say that the piña colada was delicious. So the bar drinks are decent. I don’t know how it received such high reviews.
Authentic Thai dining experience right in the heart of Brunswick, Ohio. This charming, family-run establishment is a delight for locals and visitors alike with its vibrant flavors and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
We normally get the Pad Thai here. It’s close by and consistently prepared. Easy to order and pickup within 15 minutes.
Had a wonderful experience there. Service was good. Food tasted good while there. However, got food poisoning after we got home after ordering vegetarian and vegan options. Very unfortunate.
First time very good
Great Thai!
Excellent quality food- fast and friendly service
We usually order takeout but have eaten dinner here before. Very relaxed atmosphere and the food is always amazing. Hot and fresh! Love everything we have ordered. I highly recommend dining at Large!
Absolutely the WORST experience. Didn't even get the option to wait for a table. The RUDE girl said, we don't have room, bye. Left us to walk out with not even an option to wait or come back. We will NEVER come here. Good service starts from the time a customer is greeted! Take lessons in being kind, friendly and having good customer interaction that keeps people wanting to come in.
.
Incredible authentic Thai. Great dine in or take out. I usually support a couple times per month. Judging on the Pad Thai (how I generally rate any new Thai place) you will find a new favorite.
Best Beef Pho around
🚩 🚩 🚩
We were there just now for dine in.. But the service by them is the worst ever.
Today while we were there, lady was so rude in her behavior and when we asked about spice level she was like it is written in our menu. I asked her about whether they can make it spicy or not and she handed us bunch of pepper and say kitchen chef will do the same. Just add pepper. Ahhaha
After all these the way she talked to us was ridiculous and not in a good manner. We felt so humiliated and then she threw her menu on our table and left. That moment we had to leave the restaurant without eating even though our food was already in the table. After that I went to pay for check and decided to leave without eating but the same lady trying to make a case for her in front of other guests and that moment had to tell her we don’t want to talk to you anymore on this. Still she continues to talk in an annoying manner.
Guys, this is not only Thai restaurants in area there are other better options if you want to have a good food/good atmosphere and ofc good service by people know how to talk with others
P.S. I usually don’t post bad reviews for any places but when I do, it means there is a red flag 🚩 🚩 🚩
We had the Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and a few of the Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious. Best Pad Thai I've had in a long time. I can't wait to go back.
I love Thai and this was my first time trying this place. Great soup and entrees. Definitely recommend
Had the eggplant dish, very good
Not even worth of one star. Very rude service . Lady who was serving was speaking rude and horrible manners . Guys these guys needs to behave properly with a good attitude.
Best Pad Thai! Highly recommend!
Larb had the best Thai food I’ve ever had, hands down! My friend and husband agreed! I had the Pad Thai with tofu. Lots of vegetarian options. My picky toddler enjoyed the chicken fried rice. Although it’s a bit of a trek, I’ll definitely be back.
We went last night, and we usually always go to this restaurant. the woman serving us was not really good with her service and was rolling her eyes at us the whole time. She also did not initiate any small talk. We thought nothing of it, and maybe she had a bad day. She was only talking to my friend ignoring us when ordering. when the bill came I payed and then she proceeded to scream only 4 dollars in front of the whole restaurant. The embarrassment we felt was on another level, we did tip and it was more than enough for her service We were only at the restaurant for 40 minutes. This is not the first time this woman has been rude, every time I find her rolling her eyes at one of my kids or me. I even told her that this is my daughters favorite restaurant, but safe to say they have lost a customer forever. I never also write reviews about restraunts, so this one to to tell others to be careful. The service here is not friendly
Great food. Friendly service. They had no tables available because the last one was reserved. They let us have it because we told them we were having a quick dinner to get where we were going. Did not delay the reservation. I would recommend it highly.
Great thai spot, been there a couple times, liked everything, good atmosphere.
Abnoxiously rude attitude from hostess as soon as we walked in the door. Yikes! If not seated right away, I would of turned around and left. You should rethink who you have working in the front of the house. Besides that our dining experience was almost flawless. Our food was good and our waitress was fine. A weak petite $8 Cosmo doesn't warrant reservations in an half empty restraunt.
Outstanding fresh Thai food!!
I've been 3 times in the last month. I'll definitely return every time I'm in Ohio!
Nice staff.
Food was good.
I enjoyed it I had never had Thai food and was told it maybe too spicy. It was fine tasty and could have been hotter . Maybe next time I'll ask for extra spicy.
Great curry chicken and quaint atmosphere. Glad to have found this place!
The best Thai food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a bit! This is a family owned business that has amazing hospitality and nothing on the menu will disappoint you.
One of the best dining options in Brunswick. The Pineapple Fried Rice is a favorite.
This is an unassuming restaurant that packs a lot of flavor; definitely worth a visit if you like Thai food.
The restaurant is definitely small and doesn't look like much from the outside. The menu is varied enough to satisfy different tastes. It does not disappoint in the flavor department.
Having been to Thailand, I can say that it is as close to authentic as you're going to get. The dishes are sweeter than true Thai food to accommodate the standard American palate, but not excessively.
The service is fantastic and we now go there fairly often.
From the decor to the friendly service & excellent food, notate Larb as *must-try*!
7/19/23 update/photos:
My 2nd time there.
I ordered a suggested entree (Kaprow Kai Sub, pictured without the white rice) which was good, though the description doesn't include Jalepeño peppers (which I gave to a dinnermate).
We 4 ordered different meals, all comments were positive.
2 of us ordered & LOVED their Ginger Tea!
Thai is fantastic.
Good Thai food. Consistent quality.
Great food and great service. Small place that is easy to miss and hard to quit! Get the Thai iced coffee
Delicious & authentic Thai food! The spring rolls are fantastic!
We get takeout from here at least once a week and it's consistently delicious EVERY time!! Highly recommend the Pad Won Sen and Duck Kaprow. Have dined in once and it was just as amazing! 10/10
Food was exceptionally fresh and spiced to perfection. I can't wait to go back
Their food is amazing! Always friendly.
We have only ate take out here but this has quickly become our favorite carryout in the area and by far the best Thai food in Strongsville/Brunswick
Have never been disappointed and always high quality meals and prepared accurately. So happy that we are now just a few minutes away from them!
My husband and I really enjoyed this place. I absolutely loved the drunken noodles and can't wait to try some other dishes. We'll definitely be back
Genuinely the best, most authentic pad thai in all of Ohio. Thank you guys!!! <3
Food is good but service is always a let down. The staff is always rude. We came to eat around 730 and requested a bigger table as we were going to order more food and waiter said no because she had just cleaned even though they close at 9pm.
Larb Thai is a hidden gem in an area of Brunswick on Pearl Road that you might miss as a restaurant if you blink. We have driven by this place for the last few years but never stopped in until we started hearing how great it is. The inside is small and very cozy but doesn't feel crowded. My wife and I went for dinner on a Saturday and got a table immediately.
They have realistic looking samples of all the entrees right when you walk in if you are a visual sort of person. Staff is super friendly and attentive and the food is tremendous. I recommend the Tom Yum Noodle Soup and that says alot because i have never ordered soup as a meal for dinner at a restaurant. Wife's Chicken Kaprow was excellent and she commented over and over about the great flavors. Spring rolls are a great appetizer as they are crispy and served hot.
March 2023 update: They require reservations at the current time unless you want to sit at the bar.
Wish I could agree with friendly, NOT!
Jerry had flavorless fried rice with dried chicken.
I had the basil/tomato with rice noodles and shrimp
Flavor was great but had a sliver of tomato, a sliver of red bell pepper and basil enough for color.
So flavored rice noodles
The sticky rice custard
Tasteless.
No smiles
Great food!! Super clean.
We just found this place tonight. The atmosphere was brilliant and cozy. The food was phenomenal. We will absolutely be back soon.
Went in with my brother and sister-in-law this evening. It was my first time but it won’t be my last. The duck kaprow was the best I’ve had and I got all the spice I asked for.
Keep up the great food!
This is really good authentic Thai food. I've met one of the owners and they are a pair of sisters from Thailand. Super sweet. The food was amazing. We're from the west coast and used to eat Thai food all the time. This was up there with some of the really good restaurants we used to eat at. I highly recommend it. It's a little pricey for Ohio but we're used to paying a lot for good that food.
Super friendly staff. Excellent Thai food!!
Always delicious! We love their blanket chicken, the dumplings, the Thom yum soup, pad Thai, panang curry, chicken teriyaki, and spring rolls. We love trying new things and always love what we get. The service is wonderful and it's absolutely beautiful inside. Carry out is always tasty and warm when it gets home. Definitely recommend!
Absolutely delish Thai food and excellent staff!
Very small portion sizes. Not very good Thai food compared to western states. No spice
First time there, their WonTon soup is amazing!!!! The best soup ever, the fried rice was good except it was overcooked. Rice should have some firmness to it....my Lychee Martini was food as well.
Ordered takeout, was worried the trip home would ruin good, it didn't!!!! Can't wait to eat there next time!
Great selection on the menu. Party of 5 and we all enjoyed our meals. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Have been a repeat customer whenever in the mood for Thai cuisine.
Some of the best Thai food I've had.
I always forget how good this place is until I go back. They just pack so much flavor into their food. My daughter tried the tom ka gai noodle soup, and it was amazing!
Really good Thai. Fair prices and nice portions. Definitely recommend.
Foods not bad but I think they just make prices up. Got a vegetable pineapple fried rice. The cheapest option is the vegetable and yet was charged the most expensive price for it. Online says a dinner portion 13.95 and yet I was charged 16.95. It’s already an elevated price for some rice but if it’s good maybe? But not 16.95. It’s not even a very big portion. Needless to say I’ll go else where next time. What a bummer.
This is some of the best Thai food we have eaten in a long time. We had a recommendation from a friend to come here and we were THRILLED with every dish the three of us ordered. Highly recommend as we will definitely be going back. Make a reservation, especially on weekends.
Absolutely love this restaurant. The Thai food here is a significant step up from anywhere else I’ve had locally. Highly recommend it!
Dined in. Rude waiter (older short haired lady) Delicious pad Thai but everything else was overrated and over priced. Won't be returning due to poor service. Predetermined tips are charged without consent or option.
We ordered pad Thai chicken with shrimp and pineapple fried rice. Excellent!!!! I’d never had pineapple fried rice before, well worth it!!! What a treat!!! We’re glad we stopped. 2 people, with soda the bill was less than $35. We’ll be back!
Very good Thai food, very consistent with quality of ingredients . Never disappointed.
Best Thai in Cleveland! Absolutely delicious and beautiful restaurant. We highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you dine inside. They were very accommodating and quick, we got an order of egg rolls, one chicken Kaprow and Chicken pad Thai. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! Best chicken kaprow ever, it’s a hard to find dish! Pad Thai was amazing as well, the veggies were super fresh. Portion size was great, amazing quality of food, no leftovers it was so delicious! Nice plating of dishes as well. If you’re considering this place, definitely try it out! Can’t go wrong. Beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting. They had a nice bar with many top shelf options. Best Thai we have found in Cleveland, this place deserves 6 stars! The waitstaff was kind, attentive, and quick. We will definitely be back soon!
Always great Thai food!
The waitress are super friendly and nice and the food were really delicious! Real Thai taste 👌👍
Food was delicious! and the spring rolls with homemade sweet-and-sour sauce and a fabulous appetizer
This was my first time here. We started out with an appetizer of fried wonton and spring rolls. Both were delicious each had a slightly different sauce very much enjoyed them at our table. For entrees two of us had the duck kaprow another person had the Lean cuisine which was a vegetarian dish and lastly one fried rice with shrimp. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The duck dish is one of their specialties and it has a rich dark sauce with it Love the presentation and the flavor. Portions were not overly large but we're satisfying. Afterwards for dessert we tried The pumpkin custard. This custard is served hot which surprised us. We were all a little apprehensive to try it but were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was so I highly recommend it. One comment about all of the food was that it was brought to the table steaming hot right out of the kitchen. Also had two alcoholic beverages and the cost of the meal with two appetizers two entrees and two beverages we felt was very reasonable. Currently due to staffing shortages you must make reservations for dinner. This is a good thing. The parking lot is very small and the restaurants not very large either but with them controlling the number of people they have through the reservation process we had no problem finding parking.
Always ♥️ good, and very kind people.
My wife and I's favorite restaurant. The food is always fresh and they don't use any MSG. Update in 2022* Still our favorite Thai restaurant.
Good authentic Thai food. Fast service.
They squeezed us in without a reservation... Thank You!
The pad thai was incredible!
Really liked it
Excellent Thai food! Fast service.
Fantastic food - definitely the best curry I've had in Ohio.
Good food. Small dining area
Disappointed....very expensive --$80.00 for 3 people. Food really wasn't worth the price
Attentive service delicious food. Tried the pad Thai, Thom ka soup, Thom yum soup and chicken satay. Delicious quality food and would definitely eat there again. Update: still amazing food, tried the Thai tea, delicious.
food was amazing. Service was great! Can't wait to go back.
Best Thai within 50 miles or more. The vegetable dumplings are my hands down favorite, drunken noodles are amazing. Try the papaya salad and tom yum. Really anything. Service is a 10/10 as well, sometimes a bit slower but they warn you if they are running behind. Make a reservation!
Great fast service and of course delicious Thai food.
Great pad tye
Wonderful place to eat. Great food and great service. Well worth a visit evan with the road work on Pearl.
Delicious-Love the decor!!
Great! GREAT THAI! WILL BE BACK!
Hidden gem in Brunswick. Phenomenal food. Great recommendations. Great service and hosts. Intimate, relaxing interior. A must visit.
Exception experience, phenomenal food and service
Living in Thailand for 30 plus years a a missionary I can honestly say this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have eaten at in the U.S The Thai food is authentic and delicious. Nancy ("Nan" a Thai national) our server was very polite and knew everything about every dish on the menu. I spoke Thai with her and got the rundown on every dish the folks in our group of six wanted to order. I even asked for a dish that was not on the menu my sister loves, "Pad Pock Gluam sai goong"" stir fried vegetables with shrimp and Nancy said no problem.
We also ordered Pad Tai, "Pad see ew" (Stir fried noodles in soy sauce), Larp nua (beef with chili and garlic), Paw pai tod (spring rolls), Satay chicken with Cucumber sauce & Peanut Sauce, Som tom (green papaya salad).
You will need to make reservations as the restaurant is busy with diners and people coming in for take-out orders.
A full restaurant means great food and Larb Thai restaurant has it all.
Fanominal food! Fanominal service!
Ok.
