I had the Pad Thai, which was delicious! The flavors were so light and perfectly balanced. My husband had the Gyoza, which were fantastic, and a plate of sushi, which was better than most, he said.

We really didn't expect much because most Thai restaurants in the area were not very good. But, to my surprise, it was incredibly delicious. The flavor is very rich and authentic Thai. My husband had the San Pebbles Fried Rice and I had the sourdough French toast. The French toast was good, wish I would have selected a different bread when asked. The fried was the absolute best both my husband and I ever had!!!! The flavors were amazing and the, shrimp and chicken was cooked to perfection Can't wait to come back.

The food was delicious. I had the General Tso and Spring Rolls. They are in a new location with a new chef. I’ve eaten here before but they have raised the quality up a notch. I’ll return.

This place was nothing short of delightful. The food was amazing. Best pad Thai I’ve ever had and I am extremely picky about pad Thai. In fact the only other place I’ve never had issues with the pad Thai in Cleveland is high Thai’d on Coventry.
This place has even them beat.
The crab Rangoon come out looking like spring rolls and has a delightfully sweet sauce drizzled over top. The crab is REAL. I can’t say that I have ever been to an Asian restaurant and was served real crab in the Rangoon.
The chicken lo mein was also superb. Everything about this place was fantastic.
The server we had was so sweet and helpful. Could hardly speak English, but showed that she genuinely cared about our experience and that to me tops anything else. And when I accidentally broke my glass of water, they immediately had 3 different workers come to our table, quickly and safely clean up the glass, wipe down the table, and mop the floor. And they were so pleasant and pleased to be of help.

If you come to this restaurant expecting some run of the mill, hole in the wall Asian restaurant, then take your broke ass home. This place is fine dining. Hands down best Asian cuisine in all of Ohio. I will die on this hill.

Just left after 15 minutes of not getting waited on. They asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, we picked inside considering it is 90 degrees outside, but was not anticipating a dining room room temperature of 100+. Not a great look for a place serving raw fish. The cook also seemed to be working in open toed flip flops as well? May be a minor detail, but just seemed off for sanitary reasons. I ate here for the first time back in the winter, was underwhelmed, but wanted to give it another chance tonight, but definitely have removed this from any future dinner consideration after tonight.

Some of the best tasting food I've ever had from a restaurant. They were also exceedingly nice.
They did a good job with a dietary restriction. Although not marked on the menu, many options could be made gluten-free. Had the pho the first night i was in town, and the pineapple fried rice and the coconut soup the second night, and celiac diner did not get sick from either meal.

I ordered salmon teriyaki. The salmon was fine. The vegetables served with it were barely defrosted. The service was very slow. We ordered both dessert options and neither were good. The cheesecake rolls were overly sweet with cheap pie filling on top. The crunchy banana was just odd.

the food is horrendous. worst food i have ever eaten! the peanut sauce has a lemony taste which it should not. the plain white rice is edible. the chicken satay is bland yet spicy. the summer rolls are more like lettuce wraps. go to peppermint cuisine if you want good thai

It’s good (northeast Ohio) sushi but there is much better value around. For the price difference i’ll stick with Heinens or Whole Foods when i need “take out”. Paid $55 for a small two rolls and 6 pieces of salmon. Not worth the price they charge at all.

I can't wait to go back here! My family and I were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The interior could definitely use some work, but they're doing a good job with what they've got. The service was very slow because they were understaffed, but the staff that was there were the kindest, sweetest workers that I have EVER encountered in a restaurant! Could not have asked for a nicer serving staff. The menu has many great options and all are reasonably priced. All of the food was delicious and plated beautifully. I am already excited to go back and try new things on the menu.

This was my first time here with my family for my son‘s birthday, and the food was incredible!! The service was top-notch, so attentive so kind, and the presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be going back! I highly recommend.

Diane and I went there for the first time. Veronica served us, along with Jane, and we loved our meals. To top it off, Pearl came by, whom we hadn’t seen in some time, and she made a Birthday dessert for Diane of Crème Brûlée that was amazing. We plan to return many times!

Since writing this review, we have been to Sand Pebbles several more times and love it even more. Pearl and her family do a wonderful job of treating you like family and the food and atmosphere is outstanding!

This is a lovely venue for a celebration, and we were there for a birthday. It is an Asian-fusion menu, and it is a gem. Vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, and meat-eaters will be so happy with the food offerings and service, and the lovely clean lines of the restaurant itself and truly comfortable dining chairs. We were four diners who opted for chicken teriyaki, sushi, shrimp and tofu summer rolls, lettuce rolls, shrimp tom yum soup, and panang curry with tofu. The chef's use of aromatics were delicious. The house wine pours were generous and very good. We've been there to dine ouside, inside, and for take-out. Just wonderful food and service!

Had the sesame chicken meal for lunch and it was tasty, but a bit overpriced at $20.00. Service could use some attention and for a new restaurant, we did not expect a dirty table considering we were the only people in the restaurant this afternoon. Service, what service? Waiting for 25 minutes before taking a drink order! Not one other table so it wasn't because of the crowd. We wasted so much time for minimal food and maximum price. Do yourself a favor don't even be tempted to try this place.

This place is so close to having it right. The setting is beautiful, and while the bathroom and outdoor furniture is outdated the outside area makes up for it all. The seasoning of the food is either too salty or doesn’t have enough sauce. That being said, for the quality of the food the price is more expensive than it should be. The wait staff is wonderful, positive, and very attentive. If it is a beautiful night, I recommend sand pebbles for your next dinner.

Disappointed in the service. We arrive 45 minutes before closing and they are unwilling to serve us or even offer a drink. This is the second time this has happened. The food is pricey for what you receive. If the service was better then it would be worth it.

I went there for their new breakfast menu and it was spectacular! It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had and the chef came out to visit us personally. He even gave us complimentary Golden Pearl Bacon to try and it was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet!

Extremely disappointing experience. After a very long wait for our food, when it was finally brought out it was taken to the wrong table. The food was placed on another couples' table. After a couple of minutes when they figured that they had the wrong order the waitress brought the food to our table. We witnessed the whole episode. I asked the waitress if the other couple touched the food and she said no. I don't think the waitress knew for sure one way or another. As we already waited so long and figured if I told them to remake the food they would bring the very same food back out, we just decided to just eat the food. This may have been an innocent mistake by the waitress but she should have offered to remake the food. Not sure if I'm overreacting to this situation but it's leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Wasn't impressed. Way over priced!! Just tried it again with wife and daughter. Forgot to make my meal. I will never return!

Nice house turned restaurant. The table setting and decor makes it a good dating or gathering choice.
Its a fusion Asian place so we ordered dishes from three countries to test authenticity: Hainan chicken (China), pork ribs (Polyasia) and tom yum (Thai). Tom yum is the real deal. I’d had ty for hundreds of times and this is definitely one of the best. A bit sour, a bit sweet and they used lemongrass and the mushroom with the hat instead of normal US mushrooms. The chicken and pork ribs are good though they are not authentic. The key is that the chicken needs to be poached instead of sautéed. I was surprised to see Hainan chicken on the menu in a non-Chinese or Taiwanese restaurant in Ohio.

This is a very lovely restaurant. I’d never heard of it before and I was excited to try it out. I met a friend there. I ordered the General Tao’s chicken and asked to substitute the rice they had for fried rice. The server said it was a 2.00 up charge to an already overpriced charge. When I got my bill it was actually 3.00 up charge. The server was very dry and impersonal. When the food came the presentation was beautiful. I was excited to taste it. To my dismay I found it difficult to find any chicken. It was mostly hard pieces of fried something but it wasn’t chicken. I don’t know if it was chicken skin or what but it was not meat. I was hard pressed to fin cut pieces of chicken. I mentioned to the server and he said that was how it comes. He did not care at all about my concerns. He was very dry. He never addressed me at all, only my friend that I was with did he give attention. My water glass was almost empty and I had to ask for water. He put her to go container in a nice little shopping bag. I asked if I could have a bag. He threw a blue plastic bag on the table for me. I’m not sure why I got the treatment I did. It was their break time so we were asked to leave so he could lock up. That was okay. But again he did not make eye contact with me, only my friend.

We have been there numerous times, food consistently very good until last time. I always order the won ton soup, usually fabulous. This time it was like drinking pepper water, I choked on the broth, the server came over and said she would take it off the check…oh, ok. I also always ordered the Asian orange chicken. Again, this time it was so full of pepper I could not eat it.I sent it back and went with the pineapple chicken.
What is wrong with the cooks / chefs to completely alter a recipe. We will not go back. I’m sad because we thought the first 3 times it was excellent. Oh well.

We tried Sand Pebbles for the first time tonight. While we waited a bit for someone to come over to our table, we ended the night more than happy and satisfied. I ordered the crazy noodles and didn’t know it came with red pepper flakes. When the waitress came back toward the end of our meal and asked how it was, I jokingly said fantastic just real spicy. She immediately said they would remake my meal with no added spice at no cost and said I never need to just accept a meal and not say anything. We then returned the gesture and bought an amazing dessert, the cheesecake rolls. We cannot recommend this place enough for their service, patience and delicious menu!

I didn’t get an entree for this visit, but I plan to the next time I come here. The service was quick and the waitress we had was kind and helpful. I asked for decaf coffee and they were able to provide that for me. It had chocolatey notes and was delicious. I tried my friend’s Thai iced coffee and it was even more amazing. Even my fiancé who doesn’t care for coffee was obsessed.
For an appetizer, I ordered the tofu triangles with a sweet and sour sauce. I was in love. It’s hard to find well made tofu that I enjoy and this place has it.
The atmosphere was lovely except for the couple by us who were judgey of my friends and I for wearing hats; they were whispering to each other, shaking their heads and staring at us. But that’s not the establishment’s fault at all. Just be weary of people who have nothing else better to do than be in a state of disapproval of someone else’s appearance.
I also appreciate the variety of vegan and vegetarian options that they provide. And the large portions they give too.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed dining here and I can’t wait to return.

The food is great and service is good. Everyone there is really nice. We ordered the Sand Pebble roll, Asian Orange Chicken, and Dragon Noodle. We didn't know the portions were so large and had leftovers for later that evening.

***Pinecrest Location Review*** - Wonderful place. Best asian food around Cleveland. The menu provides a combination of some of the best dishes from different asian ethnicities (Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc.). My only complaint is that majority seating is high-top. If they don't have already, get some high-top high chairs for little kids!

Well, I came in first time and it will be my last time. Way over priced. Variety of different Asian meals. Had to wait a long time to order, and I provided my phone number to be called for when order was ready and didn't get the call. I waited out in the parking lot, while my food got cold.

Had a great meal at Sand Pebbles tonight. The restaurant was decorated very nicely, service was outstanding and the food fantastic! We shared the lettuce wraps as an appetizer. For our meals we had the Sand Pebbles Pad Thai and General Tso chicken. The presentation of the food was great. We will definitely come back to dine here again.

How did I not know this place existed?? It was divine! One of my friends was in town and I was hunting for somewhere in between where we would be. So happy I found Sand Pebbles!

Such a wide array of menu items and being vegan I appreciated the clearly marked items. An absolutely picturesque patio space and parking in both the front and back of the building. Friendly service and delicious food!

Went on Friday night a few weeks ago around 5 pm. We sat outside but did see the decor inside was super cute. They were short staffed so they didn’t take our order for about 15 minutes. But once we got our food, we enjoyed everything. Sushi was great, pad Thai was good, and the kids chicken dish was more than enough for my 2 kids to share. We also enjoyed the bobba tea. Good experience overall.

This is kind of a strange place. When you pull up, it's not that clear where you should enter. Once you figure that out and get inside, you find a mix of white tablecloth and DIY construction.

The food was ok. That spring rolls were ok - nothing special. Thai Spicy beef salad was pretty good - a little heavy on the fish sauce for my taste. Filipino pork adobo was not great - boiled, textureless and watery in flavor.

Service was hit or miss. Not going to be rushing back any time soon.

I cannot say enough about this amazing restaurant. From the greeting walking in the door, by staff, to the "thank you" on our way out the door, everything was beautiful. The sushi was fresh and delicious! My friend and I could not decide and we each ordered 3 rolls, which was more than we could eat. Took home the leftovers, but the salmon skin roll was my favorite and did not make it to the takeaway container. The view inside and out the window of the dining area is wonderful. This is my new favorite place! I would be here more if I did not live so far away.

The outdoor look of the restaurant had me wondering if we made a good choice for dinner but I was shocked at the decor, the restfulness of their dining room! It’s beautiful!!! As a former waitress their servers were 10/10, the food was stunning and delicious!

I just found this place and the food is outstanding! Every Asian favorite (pad Thai, curry, etc) plus sushi, ramen, pho, noodles. Everything we tried was delicious. Please got there

The sushi was great but the rice dish I received was disgusting, I didn't even touch the 17 dollar dish and left it to the side of me. The waitress knew I didn't enjoy the entree and still made me pay for it. I'm a little disappointed because I truly do love Sandy Pebbles and expect more from them especially when it comes to not liking food.

It was an unplanned visit, just happened to be in the neighborhood and it was my best nearest option for lunch, so I went there and boy, what a pleasant surprise!
The restaurant is not your typical Asian restaurant; it was sparkling clean, well lit, the tables were pristine and neatly appointed and they even had natural flowers bouquets which believe me, I am not a flowers guy but I was impressed... and I was there just by myself, but it is a perfect place to take your date for a nice dinner. Anyway, food was perfect! Every single dish was awesome and you can tell ingredients and craftsmanship are first class. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere just quiet, relaxing and even the background music was really nice.
So thank you for an unexpected awesome culinary experience, I wish I have a similar place at home. You guys are the best!

The "Spicy Fire" roll was outstanding. Consistent with Sand Pebbles' other dishes, this was a delicious work of art. Thinly sliced jalapenos topped yellowtail and salmon with artistically arranged dipping sauce with siracha.

Food is fabulous and just as important it is consistently good. The sushi is the best in town and the noodle bowls can't be beat.

First time visiting Sand Pebbles, and we loved it! We tried 3 rolls and enjoyed them all, with the sand pebble roll being the star of the 3. It was delicious and had the perfect bite. We tried the coconut cake and enjoyed it as well! It was light, moist, and had the perfect coconut flavor, without being too overwhelming. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was excellent.

For being short staffed they really hustle and take care of their customers, first time there and food was good, excited to try something different next time

From beginning to end absolute great experience. Are server was excellent the speed and quality of service and food was above and beyond my expectation! Everything was clean and neat. The plating was gorgeous and the food matched the look. Great little spot in Aurora's historic district. We will definitely be repeat customer's!!
