This is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve eaten here, and every single visit has been amazing. The food is authentic and flavorful. I’ve tried several dishes—curries, drunken noodles, Tom Yum, sweet and sour chicken, Pad See Ew—but the chicken Pad Thai is the absolute best.

Beyond the incredible food, the owner makes this place truly special. She is one of the warmest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. The prices are very reasonable.

The young man who was there was eating 3 tables, handling carry out and likely helping in the kitchen. I got tired watching him, but he never stopped being courteous. The dishes were some of the best that I’ve eaten recently, each seemed freshly prepared. This will be my new stop for Shrimp Fried Rice (Highly recommend)
The only negative would be due to them being understaffed. There was around a thirty-five minute time frame between the first person at my table being served and the last person getting their entree. We only had a party of three.

I’m a Cambodian that have been to Thailand many many times. Everything that I ordered from lyeh is legit and super authentic. They actually make real spicy food that I miss so much it’s so hard to find in America. So glad that we found one in Akron. We live like 50min away and Im usually never hesitant to drive just to eat here. Since it’s family owned, Service can be really slow though.

Recommend dishes: Tom kha, pad ka pao and yum woon sen! With level 3 or 4 if u like “asian” spicy :)

Very tasty food, nice wait staff, cool building, and good prices! Only thing that would have been nice would be some ambient music. It was a little awkward as quiet as it was. It was just us and another family there on a Sunday night so I turned on some Spotify piano music for us on my phone! Would absolutely return!

I love Thai. I get it all over. This is absolutely one of my favorite spots! The Pad Thai is terrific. I got it spicy (4 out of 5) and loved it. Very simple but very, very fresh and flavorful and it packed a lot of heat. The Papaya Salad was quite good - I again got it 4 out of 5 and it was quite spicy. The Thai Iced Tea is unusually good here - as is the Mango Bubble Tea. The Mango Bubble Tea tasted far better than most bubble teas I've had. Really terrific Thai food - and the prices are absurdly low. I absolutely love this place!

Lyeh never disappoints, although I almost always get the green curry with tofu. They're also quick as heck, to add to the always perfect tofu option. Love this place.

Amazing Thai food. Highly recommend Cashew chicken. Please make sure to tell them how spicy you want your food as I didn't and it wasn't spicy at all which was okay as I was introducing the family (kids) to Thai foods.

We came in 30 minutes before they close, just craving thai food and not expecting much, the place was empty and quiet. The staff were so nice and friendly and we got our food FRESH within 5-10 minutes and it’s was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Like some of the best thai food i’ve had ever and I have been all over the world. Sometimes the unexpected can be so special. Don’t be afraid to experiment with the menu because i have a feeling this is one of those places where EVERYTHING is great.

Went here my grandparents, everyone was happy. I was pleasantly surprised by the spice level; many similar restaurants are scared to allow us some flavor. The bathroom was out of soap but a kitchen staff member was kind enough to bring me some dish soap 😆

Real gem of a Thai restaurant, with some great, unexpected offerings. I've eaten Thai around the country, this is probably the best I've had in Ohio at the price point. Atmosphere and service were fine, but the food was the star. The husband and wife cook team do magic in the back. Easy to find and park. Clean, spacious, and quiet atmosphere. The menu is pretty traditional, but the food has such strong, well-balanced flavors! They will also make things "thai hot" spicy. I have a high heat tolerance, usually order spicy/ extra spicy. Medium here is hot. Ingredients were fresh and cooked properly. Portions are generous. I ordered: dumplings (7.5/10, i love gyoza/dumplings, these were hot, fresh, no surprises), tea leaf salad (8.7/10, excited to see this super flavorful Burmese dish offered, well executed, never had with tomatoes), chicken larb (8.5/10, again amazing flavor, great citrus savory balance), beef pho (7.4/10, not a pho place, but was happy to see it), green curry (9.2/10, everything Thai curry should be, so good), Pad Woo Sen (9.1/10, rich, complex, savory, really satisfying, didn't expect this to be a good as it was), Pad Thai (8/10, well executed, traditional). Thai tea and bubble tea were delicious. My date and I ordered way too much, but I am coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Generally great food and prices Steamed lime fish amazing but watch out or you'll spill a flimsy pan of fish juice on yourself if you take it to go. I go here all the time...always great except last time rice was sour like it was rotting.

Great prices and fast service! I ordered the beef pho, and while the broth was good, it was missing meatballs and doesn't come with the traditional toppings (thai basil, lime, chili peppers).

The food here is amazing. Meets and exceeds expectations for takeout. The inside is cozy. I would absouletly re-do their menus for them for free as the current ones really sell the food and service short. Lots of vegetarian options. The Pineapple fried rice is FIRE.

This place is SO GOOD. We are staying long term at a nearby hospital and eat here more than anywhere else. There is no shortage of aromatics used in all the dishes (hello truckloads of ginger and lemongrass pieces in the Tom kha!). The crab Rangoon are some of the best I've ever had. And you can't beat the prices.

This place is not good. We were told delivery would be between 18-52 minutes, and it didn’t arrive for an hour and ten minutes. When it did arrive, the food was not good. It was not seasoned and every dish, which we got five of, had an unreasonably smokey taste to it. I would not recommend.

Everything said they were open. Online ordering accepted my order. Drove all the way down, and got a lame text message that said the restaurant is closed and I can expect my in payment back in my 3-4 business days.

Everything was so good. Crab Rangoon is made in house and insane. They make their own sauces too, and wish it was bottle to take home.

This restaurant is absolutely delightful. It was my first Thai food experience so I can’t compare, however everything was incredibly fresh, the red curry was delicious and the pad Thai was also amazing. The crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had. It was piping hot and the sauce with it was superb as well. The owner is the nicest and she spent time chatting with us when not taking orders. She was so kind and funny. I would go back just to chat with her honestly. Also the prices were incredible! Can’t say enough good things. Hidden gem!

My husband said it was the best Crab Rangoon that he's ever had. We had red curry and the spice level was perfect. She even allowed me to get it served with noodles instead of rice, my favorite way to eat red curry! Also enjoyed the mango sticky rice and honeydew bubble tea! We'll be back!

The "Spicy Thai" chicken wings were just breaded wings with a miniscule side of sweet and sour and the Tom Mama noodles with shrimp looked like a packet of ramen with tiny frozen shrimp. I couldve made both dishes way better at home myself. I won't be returning. No idea how this place is rated so high.

This is the location where Parassons used to be. This was my first time trying them. Every table in our area was disgustingly filthy, like they hadn’t been wiped down in days. The plastic table cloths were full of holes and sticky with food. I didn’t stay to try the food.

I loved the new building but since the move the food is trash.. I've had there curry before and it was great.. this time I was craving pho so I go to the new location to sit down by myself and enjoy a bowl 🍜. The gentleman server was very nice but the language barrier made it hard to order, I wanted steak and meatball pho. When I did get my food it was meatball only (not a big issue) but the pho itself was very bland and the noodles were so soggy it was almost paste. I grabbed another waitress as she was passing by and explained to her how the noodles were soggy. She took the food back to the kitchen and I walked out. I've never felt the urge to walk out so badly but I was severely disappointed in the lack of communication and quality of food. I learned my lesson and will never again be buying Vietnamese pho at a Thai restaurant.

The food (Pad Thai) was quite good, but I'll get take-out next time. There was no one out front. Had to flag down someone from the kitchen, so they would know I was there. Eventually, they took my order including a drink. After a while they brought the food, but no drink. It was brought a while later. The decor was dark, very well worn, and a bit depressing.

I absolutely love this place. I almost want to keep it a secret, but when they closed for a bit during the pandemic I was really sad and scared that they wouldn't reopen. So even if it means they run out of eggrolls (best ever) before I get mine, I have to spread the word to make this gem survives.

Amazing Thai food in Akron! Red and Green Curries were great and the Tom Yum was too! Friendly staff and wide assortment of boba “teas,” which are actually kind of like a frozen drink here (very good). Please support this business. When we came in on a Friday night there was barely anyone there and it’s a shame.

Good food

Great Thai food. We had pork dumplings, that were deliciously light and crispy. The Pho had a wonderful flavor and complexity, and was loaded with beef. The Pad Thai was different than I have ever had before. Not as sweet and bland as many others are. Instead it was savory and flavorful. As an added treat try the pineapple bubble tea, for a light and refreshing beverage.

Often you get either quality or quantity, and sometimes you get neither. Not at Lyeh Thai. Here you get delicious Thai food, that was two meals worth, for a price that is inexpensive. It appears to be run by a very small staff and as others have noted, our server was delightful.

We will be back, and you should go too!

This is the best Thai food in town, and I have a sensitive stomach so it’s awesome that they are a quality restaurant!

Everything was very good. However, they either mistakenly made mine spicy or the "no spicy" is extremely spicy in the pad Thai. The flavor is good but I can't eat anything this spicy. My son got spicy and he couldn't eat it all as it was too spicy. The pineapple shrimp rice was the bomb and not spicy.

The food was incredible, the heat was just the right level, it was there but not overpowering. The prices are also very good I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Thai food.

I've tried everything on a standard asian menu in this part of the country, and while I love some of the classics like Pad See Ew and Kung Pao Chicken I don't get to do much exploring around northern Ohio. Most menus read the same, to be honest.

Until I found this place!! We had a Burmese pea salad that I have never heard of before, crunchy and extremely satisfying. Definitely try it. I also had the whole steamed fish. Now, I know this is not for everyone. You will actually have to greet what you eat. If you can't take that, or if you think fish come breaded in patties or little stick form, do not do this. But if you want a real Thai experience it is to die for! Fabulous flavors like ginger, lemon grass, and just enough heat to make you pay attention. I can picture a street vendor selling these in a Bangkok back alley. Try it!! I will definely be back.

I work around the corner from this place and I was always hesitant to try them. After seeing the reviews, I gave them a shot and let me tell you they’re food is incredible and very reasonably priced for the quality. It’s nice to have authentic, quality food so close to me. My only other options are burgers and pizza and I’m about tired of that.

This is the real deal! I have been to many cities in Thailand and Myanmar and LOVE the real, local food. I only eat at mom and pop places when I travel because I feel it is a more authentic experience. I had the green curry at Lyeh and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

After seeing all the good reviews. I went there yesterday. It started off with me having a communicate problem with the young girl that took my order. I ordered green curry chicken and drunken noodles with chicken. I shold have realized something was wrong when she kept pointing to pictures. When I got home, I discovered that I either got the wrong order by accident or she had no idea what I was saying. The shrimp fried rice was unedible. Half done rice and super dry overcooked rice. Yuk! Never again....

Don't spend your money....the food is TERRIBLE. I've never eaten her before and will not EVER go back. The egg roll was so INCREDIBLY GREASY it wasn't edible. The dish I ordered ( chicken pad see ew) which ive had several times from other places was DISGUSTING! There was a large noodle going across the top. It was VERY thick and gelatinous. It had the consistency of fat on a steak that wasn't cut off. This dish was also quite greasy, barely any chicken, 4 small pieces of broccoli, and a few more carrot wheels. I ate the small pieces of chicken (totalling about 2oz) and the veggies out of it. I had to throw the rest out. $10 + tip to throw it all away....I WILL NOT EVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. DISGUSTING FOOD.

If you want quality food, go to Rice Paper in Fairlawn.

Always tasty food made fast and extremely affordable. Staff is very pleasant.

Basic interior, definitely more of a takeout place.

The parking lot is rough and beyond overdue for repaving. Take your time pulling in/out, you don't want to lose a muffler over some red curry.

Food is authentic Thai all the way. Probably the best in Akron....pad thai is right on with a perfect balance of lime, sweet and heat. Pad see ew was also super good. I shop in the little store while I wait for my order. It's a little on the rural side, but I pick up my kimchi there:)

More of a carry out . Food was OK. Price could be better compared to others in the area.

This place is incredibly authentic. Yes, the staff does not have perfect English, but that usually means you're getting the real deal. Order what you want as clearly as possible and get ready for a treat!
