The staff was very gracious, considering we showed up only 30 mins before closing. The food came out very fast and hot (and we were still able to leave by closing time!). Definitely a must-try restaurant if you are in Minot! Good prices too.

This little restaurant is a must if you are in Minot, ND. We loved everything. The service was impeccable and the place was very clean. We ordered steamed dumplings, deep fried spicy tuna sushi (which was phenomenal), pineapple fried rice and Pork in chili garlic sauce. Everything was tremendous. Our server was quick, knowledgeable and fun. The pink atmosphere was delightful. I cannot say enough good things about Try Thai. We especially loved that they had pictures of every item on the menu. I wish I would have ordered something to go, so I could have had dinner, too. This place is yummy and to steal a phrase, “you gotta eat here”! Good job to everyone at Try Thai Food.

I tried to eat here but there is no parking, all the signs are for other stores. They will yell at you and threaten to tow you. Very unfriendly plaza.

Paid for meal less than $9 dollars gave a $20 should have gotten $8 and change back. Instead only got $3. She withheld $5 without even asking if I wanted to leave a tip.

Good Thai restaurant. I ordered fresh spring rolls, pad Thai, and masala curry. I really liked the dipping sauce for the fresh spring rolls. Overall, I think the food is a little pricey, but I am willing to visit here again.

We LOVE coming here. Not only do the owners treat us like family, but they have the BEST Thai food around! Living for 8 years in Minneapolis, I was a Thai food fanatic. I am not sure there were many places I didn't eat. I am so happy to have such FANTASTIC food right here in Minot. Love you and all you do!

Ehhhhhh. So many icks. It was over crowded with limited and narrow seating. We had a wobbly table. The ladies were nice but they kept looking around the corner and watching us. That was weird. My vegetables were not cooked at all like they just warmed them up. The sushi rolls were VERY fresh tho. Also very spicy very nice

The food is amazing. So good I ate there 3 meals in 3 days. Everything was amazing. I will always eat there when I'm in town. The family who owns it is so nice. They make you feel welcome and are very friendly. I enjoyed the conversations we had. Best food I've had in years. Can't wait to go back

I tried! I really did try to like this restraint. I had high hopes that thevfood would be better than the other Asian options in town. I started out with the sushi to see it I should continue. It wasn't pleasant! The California roll was bitter and lacked structure, coming apart when handled. The Shrimp Tempura roll was better, but it was still not good. So, I stopped there, paid my check, and called it a day. Maybe on a different day?

A wonderful discovery on a business trip to Minot. Located in a strip mall off Broadway, next to Dominos Pizza and caddy-corner from Aces Lounge. The famous Pink Thai Truck is now at a fixed location. Thai Tea, Fried Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay, Chicken Penang Curry, and Chicken Ginger Curry, followed by Mango Cheesecake and Mango Sticky Rice fully satisfied our party of three. Prices were reasonable for Minot and portions were just right. All in all a new favorite in Minot! Planning to return.

This is the best Thai food in town, and Thai food is one of the only ethnic food types Minot does well. Friends and family from out of state agree this is one of the best Thai food places they've ever tried as well. I highly recommend it.

Probably the best thai food in town. The pad thai was especially delicious as well as the spring rolls with peanut sauce. The atmosphere is still a bit thrown together and not the most comforting, but the food makes up for it in flavor.

I remember when it was called Einstein, great food truck definitely. Now this one particular place has a Little flavor of the sweet side. It certainly does make up for lack of sour, which is ok, don't get me wrong. I have this one ranked at number 3, very respectful. It's very good in options. Some of the pastries, you gotta try, the triangle things are mmm good. Try the spring rolls.. Heat is there, especially in this region. Ambiance is good for a wait, its usually very busy. Usual dishes you should try are the ones you know, it's like a Gordon Ramsay thing. Every Thai place i get a few staples, all have a uniqueness which is nice.

Try Thai is great for a fix, lot of options. If you aren't ready for spice, work your way up to Thai level. Not all spice is same per each dish.

Some of the best Thai food I have had this far from the source! I ordered the Massaman and it was just filled with amazing flavor and every component was cooked to perfection.

It was pretty good. Didn't love the shrimp dumplings, but the sushi was good. I think I'll try a rice dish next time.

Our first visit was great. The wife & I had curried rice & drunken noodles. It was all extraorinarily good. For me, the very best curry I've had in many years. We will be coming back as often as we can.

Was in town for work. I have been all over Thailand, as well as all 50 states and every major US city. This was the most authentic and delicious thai food I have had outside of Thailand ever in my life. Please do yourself and your pallet a favor and go try this restaurant!

We often passed Try Thai and talked that we should try them. Last night we decided to follow through and were delighted with our decision. We couldn't decide exactly what we wanted so we tried 1 fried rice, 1 salmon sushi roll, spring rolls, and 3 entrees.

Everything was great! We had our own mini buffet and tried everything. The flavor and requested spice level were spot on. My family was not in the mood to go out so we called ahead. I arrived about the promised time and the food was bagged and ready but still nice and hot. Staff were friendly and helpful and my quick look around showed everything looked neat and clean. We highly recommend this restaurant and are addingit to our list of date night choices.

I’m not normally one to write reviews, but this one deserves a shoutout. We were near by and looking for some food to take back to the hotel room. I love my Thai food, and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting much for a small town Thai restaurant, but we were very impressed. First off, service was great. It was quick, and the man up front was very friendly. We ordered the pad Thai and the pad see ew. They both had tons of flavour, and just the right amount of spice (you can pick your level of spicy). The portions are on the smaller side (for a Thai food restaurant), but that only means you have room to add an appetizer. I’ll be sure to order again next time I’m in Minot!

First of all, this place is amazing and fresh! Never had a let down so far.
I love calling ahead for my lunch and arriving to hot ,fresh , and delicious food. The buns and sushi just melt in your mouth. I highly recommend this place!

We came here for dinner. The food was pretty good. Their dish is pretty small, but I think that might be better for them, since it is more tempting for me to order additional items. We came here on a weekday evening, so the restaurant was not that busy. Since we were one of the few people at the restaurant, the service was pretty fast. Overall, no problems here.

Was not happy with my visit. A worker tried charging me the full price for an item on the menu, after telling me that I could save money by ordering the sauce and noodles separately. So when I asked them if I could just alter my order to save the money, as they recommended, I was told to save money next time and pay full price now. I then spoke to another worker who said they do not sell items separately. The worker that initially told me to order the sauce and noodles separately then lied and said she hadn’t told me this, when she had just told me 1 min prior to me speaking to an owner. Therefore, at that point, I lost trust with this restaurant and canceled my order. I felt uneasy knowing that a staff lied in my face next to the owner.

Fresh and great tasting. Will test your "spicy" tolerance though. Thought mine was high and went medium heat, had the sweats after the first few bites. But it was soooooo good I kept eating and powered through it. Local place that started with just a food truck. So I will go back and support them. They have the American spirit in their food and quality of it.

Became a customer when they were still in their food truck and continue today. I most often get the chicken pad Thai. It does vary from time to time, but to be expected when it isn't chain restaurant food. Honestly, their location makes this Thai restaurant one that I frequent most often.

Pad Thai is very authentic and tasty and Thai basil chicken was good as well. The hubby got this “pad Thai fried rice” which is their version of some fusion dish but I wasn’t crazy about it. I like the pad Thai seasoning on the noodles because the rice soaks up too much of everything like the oil and the rest of the seasoning so it becomes like a saucy glob of rice. But if you’re into that go give it a try!

I’ll definitely be back to try other items. The hubby went there for the salad roll but they were out of it.
