Our family of 10 fit comfortably around our open grill table and were greeted immediately for drinks. After that, we ordered our appetizers and meals, and very soon, our chef for the night Pee-Wee came to the table. From the moment he greeted all of us, we noticed first a contagious smile and laugh that was present the entire experience. He was so inviting and pleasant (especially with the little ones), and we enjoyed his many jokes and pokes at us during our meal. Pee-Wee shared that his family was from Laos, and he loved cooking Hibachi and had done it for many years. He was one of the most genuine staff I've come across in a long time, and his playfulness with other employees was contagious as well. The entire restaurant seemed to carry his smile and laughter around the entire place. They even invented 🤣 their own dinner language and entertained our little guests teaching the words and phrases to say. I ordered the Hibachi steak and chicken a combination plate and when I tell you Pee-Wee made the most DELICIOUS medium-rare filet I've had in a long time, I never picked up a knife the steak separated with my fork. My steak was so good that I even shared with 4 other people at the table as I couldn't believe how seasoned and tender the beef was. We had the traditional accompaniments with dinner but something we didn't expect was Pee-Wee letting us try all 5 sauces we could have with our meal and making sure we took our time deciding what sauce would be our favorite. The mustard, teriyaki, shrimp sauce, and ginger were so good I couldn't stop talking about them. As dinner 🍽 ended, we were almost sad to leave but knew as it ended that we would be back as there were many items we still wanted to try. If you want something different but not unfamiliar, give them a try. I can't think of any reason that you wouldn't find something on the menu even if you're a first-timer. We couldn't stop saying thank you leaving this Birthday dinner and the prices are unbeatable compared to mang similar places you already dine! Our first time trying this place and was not disappointed. To begin the decorations were mesmerizing. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and I ordered the Pho. The portions were really generous for the price and everything tasted delicious. Great service and atmosphere and food. Definitely recommend!

My personal favorite was the fried rice. My fiancé’s was the papaya salad. Nice selection and atmosphere, too.

Tonight we had hibachi and it was so amazing. The owner was our chef , not only did he put on a show , but he was personable and killed cooking to everyone's taste. 10 out of a 10. Oh and don't skip there red curry..

Ordered papaya salad Laotian dark style. It came out super light Thai style. For the "Pad see ew" noodle dish I had to add shrimp otherwise it would only have scrambled eggs in it. Noodles came out with 5 medium shrimp, which needed 3 more minutes cook time for the noodles to be al dente. The waitress didn't refill my drink. The restaurant decor had gaudy Christmas balls all over, hanging from the ceiling, that's a dust issue. The overall flavor is decent. But what is the "fusion" here? Ah a buzzword to draw us in.

This has to be our favorite eatery in Morganton!!! Vin and Mi are gracious hosts, the food is extremely consistent, fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. The decor is eclectic and fun—Christmas all year long.

Asian Fusion is the best kept secret in the greater Morganton area. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff are always kind and cheerful and the owners are spectacular and alway wonderful hosts! The Habachi grill, opened in the evening is not only savory delicious, but so very entertaining!

The pad Thai is good and made pretty consistently. I just wish the pho broth tasted better.

They have imaginative dishes here that always come out looking pretty and colorful. I really enjoy their flavorful and healthy salads. They were smart to add the hibachi stations as they have been a big hit. I find hibachi to be a little bland and boring, but I did try it here with a group and they give you way more food than you can eat. The atmosphere is very quirky but seems like a clean and well run restaurant.

They have hibachi now in the evenings. We have tried different menu items and all have been good. Good service and friendly servers and owners.

It was 17 dollars per person since we got water and z USE THE DINNER SHARE for 8.99 if yall are eating the same thing and put the money you save as a tip in addition to your usual tipping habits they do a great job and deserve to be paid as such for above and beyond service.

The restaurant was very clean, the chef was very friendly and smiled all the time. The food is good, I really loved the rice with the duck sauce. They give you plenty, you will need to take left offers home. You can sit at a table and order food, or you can sit in front of the grill and enjoy the show of a chef cooking your meal. You can share a meal also.

We usually don’t travel to Morganton but we were shopping in the area and decided to stop in since this place had really good reviews. Not exactly sure how that is possible though. The inside of this restaurant was actually quite nice. Nicer than your typical asian restaurant however the food was terrible. The pho was not very good. The pad thai and the papaya salad some of the worst that we’ve ever. Sadly the only decent food we ordered was steamed rice. I could never and would never recommend this place to anyone.

We wait and wait and wait for an hr I had to ask for a refill on my flat Dr pepper and then at closing time 8pm was told it will be another 20mins our food. Worst place ever!!!! We love this place!! We live out of town but whenever we are close by visiting family, we love to eat here! The food is so good! It had been a while since we had been here so wasn’t sure if the food would be the same quality, but it was still amazing! They were closing at 8pm and we came in and 7:15pm after a family funeral visitation, more family ended up coming than what was expected (we were 14 total) and the service couldn’t have been better! They have 2 hibachi tables and family could choose that or to order off the regular menu! It was a crowd pleaser for sure!! I felt so bad we ended up being a large group and they had to stay long after close but they were so kind and service and food was exceptional! I came for the curry but ended up getting habachi… so yummy and not too heavy like others! Hands down one of our favorite restaurants not only in Morganton but Charlotte too!

First time tonight. Had the Spring Rolls and the Pad Thai. Was a good amount of food for the price. The Spring Rolls were delicious! The Pad Thai was very sweet. I did not taste any heat (spice), as I’ve had at other places and was expecting. Still good. Would probably try something different next time. Great atmosphere and service!

Tried the new hibachi grill tonight and it was excellent. We have been to Asian Fusion 6 to 8 times and have been 5 star happy each time.

It's neat that the have a Hibachi grille like at say Kobe's. But my calamari appetizer was small in number. And they were crispy through and through which was not a good thing. I think they were old. No flavor. I had the pineapple rice add chicken. It was just ok. Presentation of the plate was good. Decor of the restaurant? Not so much. Christmas decorations from many years past decorating the ceiling and rooms. As of today, the sanitation score was a 95. Would I go back? Maybe. Not definitely.

Tried this for the first time. Got the chicken pad Thai. This was very very sweet with very little, over cooked chicken. It was edible for the most part, but can't say I would definitely go back. I might give them another try and try something else. But today's first visit was not an exciting one.

Was 1st time here decided on bimbimbop and curry beef. Food was excellent, bowl sizzling when arrived at the table, taste incredible with hot almost crispy rice in bottom soaking up juice from the Korean beef, condiments that came with dish also good.

I had the chicken red curry which was really good. It had lots of vegetables and a good amount of chicken. The sticky rice was good and fresh and I dumped the rice in the curry and it made a good meal. My wife had the lettuce wraps which was good. She also had the chicken dumplings which were nice and large. The sauce for the lettuce wraps and the chicken dumings were the bast part.

Don’t let the beautiful interior fool you. That’s what lured me in from google maps photos. Food tasted old and stale- like the kind you get from the grocery store. Super disappointed after driving an hour for some good Thai food and spending $40. I kindly expressed my dislike for the food and nothing was done to even try and make it right. Been waitressing and running restaurants for over 20 years - so I was def not being rude but was seriously soooooo sad to waste my money. Pad Thai tasted like lime flavored plastic wrapped candy. Dumplings were hard, flavorless and the color was off putting, fresh rolls were like just sad - like old, dry ingredients wrapped in plastic bags.

Wow - The Red Curry with Chicken was outstanding today at Asian Fusion Kitchen in Morganton, NC. I'll have to say, this is some of the best Asian food I've eaten in years. Love the way they present the rice in a little star formation. The food really tasted superb!

Pad Thai, Pho, and vegetarian spring rolls were very good. Tad man pla (fish patties) were OK and interesting, although I think they suffered from not being able to eat them fresh and immediately out of the kitchen. The steamed dumplings were a little disappointing. They were heavy and very dense.

I freakin' love this restaurant. The pad see yew (extra spicy of course) and chicken dumplings are especially incredible.. the extra spicyness is euphoric. Literally like food DRUGS! I have eaten at pretty much every Chinese/Thai place in WNC and this place is the bees knees.. the Thai iced tea is tasty and an ice cold singha is perfect for washing down whatever vittles the kitchen throws your way. Eat here! You will not regret it

We came in a little over an hour before closing time. It took nearly 30 minutes just to get our order in. The food was pretty good, but not very much for the price. It wasn't a bad experience but I don't see myself going back.

The Pho here was really good! This is my first visit, at about 11:45 and wasn't packed. The restaurant was lit up with all kinds of decorations and made for a nice atmosphere. Good mix of Pan-Asian food. The Thai curry was outstanding and came with more than an ample serving size. Chicken dumplings are dim sum style but didn't travel well. Fried vegetable spring rolls more SE Asian style (thin and crusty) than WestPac (thicker, loaded with many flavor combinations). Also missing the traditional soy dipping sauce. Bulgogi was well flavored with ample noodles but a little light on protein. Looking forward to post-COVID when we can dine-in.

Hands down the best Asian food I've had in burke county for the price you can't beat the combination of smell, taste and, presentation! Never had a meal fill me up quite as fast as their sweet n sour chicken, but it was so delicious!

The restaurant was not crowded. It had a very pleasing atmosphere. The waiter was very nice. He immediately took our beverage order. We ordered four different appetizers and they were all great. He helped us with the menu and we all ordered something different. The portions were plenty and everyone enjoyed what they got. He brought out a special dessert for the birthday girl that we all got to share. This was our first time at this restaurant and I would definitely recommend everyone try it. Prices were good.
