He liked the abundance of protein and was pleased that he didn’t have to add his own spice. I had the green curry. She warned me it was medium spice. I didn’t think it was too overly spiced at all. Chicken was tender. Egg drop soup was pretty good too. Overall great food. The place was packed for lunch so I’m assuming others like it too. Looks like they do take away. We’ll be back. Recommend give it a try! Also service was great!

Staff were very friendly and the menu had a large selection! I love the appetizer soup they bring you before your main course and the fried wontons were EXCEPTIONAL! I will definitely be back. If your sensitive to spice definitely let them know Thai HOT is a lot different than your typical SPICY the staff were very helpful when asking what to order and how much heat to ask for! Definitely give this place a try!!

The food is fresh and delicious and was seasoned perfectly. The atmosphere is quaint and humble, although lacking in the warmth and esthetics.
The food was really tasty and the value is exceptional! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because we waited over 20 minutes just to be seated and our food took quite a while to get to our table after that. This is not a good place to go if you have any sort of time constraints. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it!

Clean inside and on the small side so show up early to beat the rush. Large menu. My party of four tried all different items and shared most of them. You can give a heat request up to 5. I ordered a four and it was pretty warm and will try a 5 next time. Spring rolls have a cinnamon flavor which I do not care for but so may like it. Fried rice was disappointing for me but I am a bit of a fried rice snob. General Thai (yes that’s how they spell it) chicken was fantastic. I will happily come back to try other dishes. Service speed was not very fast but they filled up right after we arrived so that was fine. Very friendly service and soup at beginning of the meal was really good. Small parking lot so if it is full you will likely have to wait for a seat since there are around 10 tables inside.

It was me and my husband's first time here. We came for the Pho, of course. Their pho threw us both off because the soup was sweet, but it was still delicious! Their fried rice is also good, but a little on the dryer side. And, of course, their crab ragoon was perfection!!! It's a must! Their mango ice cream was beautifully presented, and both me and my daughter loved it! The staff were very friendly and kid friendly. The service was awesome. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Deserves every single star in all these 5 star reviews. After years overseas, this is the best Thai we’ve had in the States. A perfect end to a great hiking day. This will be our go to after every trip to Crowder and King Mtns. The Beef Stew Noodle Soup, Panang Beef and Green Curry were each incredible. Don’t miss the homemade coconut ice cream!

Chose take out so can't comment on service or atmosphere. Everything we ate had good flavor: thai spring rolls, thai sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and massaman curry with chicken and white rice. I only wish the curry was creamy, not watery and had some vegetables in it.

Disappointment: Recently went with my family to this restaurant. Been going there since they opened. This time they lowered the food portion to half and the price are the same. Food taste is good. For big eater you need to buy 2 orders ☹️

The Thai basil fried rice with chicken was delicious, as was the soup. The facility looks and smells clean. Staff are friendly. I overheard a sauce was homemade (not from a bottle). Thai tea was just as nice as expected. I will bring back my hubby next time.

We discovered this place on our way to Rayleigh NC and tell you what we are so glad we stopped and ate here, This is a small family owned restaurant but the food was amazing and hospitality was top class. If you are in the area I would recommend you to pay a visit.

This place was simple and clean. Nothing flashy and it is tiny. Food is very tasty! The wing appetizer was super hot and crispy.

Do not walk but RUN to Rice Thai Restaurant in Kings Mountain! The service and food is impeccable! I had the daily special "spaghetti in the jungle" spice level 4, Thai spring rolls and the mango and sticky rice with coconut cream sauce( to absolutely die for) 2 of us shared this order and there was not a crumb left and we were satisfied with the amount of food . Go, order, eat and fall in love!!!
No photos because the food disappeared so quickly. Kind , generous staff.

The crab rangoon here might as well be fried wonton wrappers, there was little to no filling in them. I'm disappointed because I used to eat here often and came back recently just to realize the quality of the food has gone down. For the price I'm not sure it's worth it. The service is always good here , but the food itself is different from what I remember.

This was my first time coming here and it will be my last. I only took a chance because of the 4.8 stars. I ordered the pad broccoli with no protein. I picked it up and took it to work to eat. It was flavorless and the broccoli had black all over it, nearly every piece. This is unacceptable. I took it back and the young girl at the register said the broccoli may be black because of the sauce. Umm no! She also didn't give me back the amount I paid for the item. So, your food is gross and you keep a portion of the money people pay for their food. Fantastic!

My wife and I can't get enough of RICE. The food is authentic and delicious. This place will not disappoint the taste buds!! The Curry Puffs are must for an appetizer.

While driving back to Georgia, we discovered this Thai restaurant. We tried the Thai curry, Tom Yum, and shrimp hibachi, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The food quality was impressive, and the prices were very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend this place to others.

I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in my life, and this is a treasure. Do not sleep on this place.

Great food. Super customer service. My coconut milk soup was to die for. Dinner partners had pad Thai and goobled it up. We had several appetizers and were not disappointed. If to are passing through Kings mountain worth a stop for sure!!!

I went to get some pho after visiting my PCP and placed my to-go order. I sat at a nearby table to wait for my food and the person who took my order asked me if I wanted some soup while I waited for my order. She gave me the chicken vegetable soup. IT WAS DELICIOUS! So good that I ordered a bowl to go as well and drank it on the way home!😋
Later that evening, for dinner, my husband and I ate the pho. IT WAS ALSO DELICIOUS!!!

Lovely family restaurant where they clearly take pride in their food. We had the red curry shrimp that was just the right amount of spicy and very flavorful. The wide rice noodles and vegetables were fresh and authentic. Recommend the fresh spring rolls and homemade mango ice cream, too! Excellent service and reasonable prices for a delicious meal.

Best Thai food that we have found in the area. We have been missing Thai food since moving back to the Kings Mtn. area and we recently found this restaurant. Now we get food here about once a week.

This in NOT genuine Thai food.. tried pad Thai 2 times and both were not good. Today I tried the general Thai chicken and it was a plate of onions with 5 pieces of chicken. Crab Rangoon’s are good but that’s about it. I don’t recommend

Ps: stay away from the soda. 8 bucks for 2 12 oz cans…

Small little shop full of delights!
We went after a morning of hiking Kings and Crowder Mountains in the mid-afternoon and there was still a constant flow of people so I g in and picking up food.
Enjoyed the calming jazzy music, the delicious jasmine tea & our meals.
Super sweet business women running the place and they even come out to deliver my water bottle and take home tea when they saw it sitting on the table after we left!

Amazing food, amazing people, and amazing prices! You'll get a huge helping of food every time, and all of the dishes we have ordered have been amazing. We were scared when Auntie Seng was sold, (their family is still dearly missed) but it's just as friendly and the food is still delicious. I definitely recommend you eat here. Dine in will be a great experience, but takeout is just as nice. They have an extensive takeout menu, and the food is pretty much always ready in 15 minutes. Their pho is a big recommendation as far as food, (especially if you're sick, it will help immensely) but literally anything you pick is going to be good.

Found this restaurant on Google while traveling today. Stopped for a late lunch. The food was very good and authentic Thai. The Pad Thai was one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband said his Massaman Curry was very good. The Fresh Rolls were very good, too. It’s a small restaurant with few staff, but our service was good. Highly recommend.

First time trying this place was yesterday and my only complaint is no egg drop soup unless it's Friday but the soup was fantastic!!! The hibachi chicken was authentic and the customer service was great. I'd be going back today if they had egg drop soup. Will definitely be eating Here often

The people who work here are very kind and genuinely want you to enjoy your meal. The food itself is always delicious and very authentic. Pad Krapow, Pad Thai, Curry, and the appetizers are all delicious. My favorite is the Pad Thai, 5 star spice. I get food from Rice for myself, my coworkers, my parents, and my fiancée and everyone loves it. I love Rice! Ps- if they’re offering the mango sticky rice…get it!

We had a lovely waitress! We also had some on the house dishes which was exquisite! The Pad Thai was good and everything was so cosy!

We come here once a week at a minimum. I try to order something different each time. Never been disappointed, whether eating in or getting it to-go. My favorites are: beef larb, pad pak mixed meats, and Pho. They have excellent service.

I am a retired merchant seaman who has visited Thailand on many voyages to the far east. This is the best Thai food I've found outside Thailand, authentic, delicious and well prepared. There is a great selection of wonderful Thai food offered by efficient & genuinely friendly staff.
The dining room is simple cafe style, but accommodating, VERY clean and well maintained. I found the prices to be very reasonable, and portions to be ample. RICE restaurant is TOPS in my book and I will be back, family in tow!
