This is a very cool place. I went there for lunch today and brought a take-home for my son. The kitchen is visible from the dining area and i liked the "feel."
I had the red curry and I'd rate it a 5. Serving size was large for lunch and the curry was quite flavorful. It was moderately spicy, so it might not be to everyone's liking. I suggest asking about the spice level of each curry before ordering .
The pork eggroll that comes with the meal was also very good.
The shrimp pad Thai i got my son was a 3. It might well have been a 4 or 5 when it was fresh- those kind of noodles gum up over time. My son thought the shrimp was very good and that the pad Thai sauce was a little different but good.

The food was delicious! Good size portions and so much flavor. We ordered the Yam Moon Sam (salad) with ground chicken and glass noodles and the large Guay Tiew soup with shrimp. It was served with bean sprouts, thai basil, and 2 sauces (the chili spice was SPICY!).

We will definitely come back and try some of the other dishes.

Mali Thai is a gem. My wife and I stumbled into it and wow, the food is fantastic! Tremendous flavor and a really good amount of food. We have our different favorites and spice levels so each meal becomes two. Their spring rolls are fantastic. We live about 10 miles away and are eating there at least once a week.

The steamed dumplings and sauce was amazing! Enjoyed the egg rolls and the Pad Thai was super flavorful!!! I wish they had an appetizer sample plate because all of them look so delicious! Amazing food overall really impressed!

I drove by this place and did not know about it, so I stopped in. I was by myself and this was late into the lunch hour so it was not busy at that time. The place is clean and the service was very friendly. I ordered the lunch - red curry with chicken and an order of fresh spring rolls. The lunch comes with a fried roll that was very good. The Red Curry was outstanding. I did not specify the heat level and it was perfectly spicy! The spring rolls are made with shrimp and they were very mild in flavor, but very fresh. I recommend them! I ordered Oolong tea and it was just a hot cup of water with a tea bag, but that was the perfect amount and the tea was very nice. I will be coming back to see if the Red Curry is consistently this great!

We ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time last night and wow what a nice surprise!! The food was hot, fresh and tasty and it was ready in 10-15 minutes. I do wish there was more pineapple in the pineapple fried rice but still everything was so yummy! Not one complaint from my family of 4 except that I haven't ordered before now. Portion size was really nice and the atmosphere inside was clean and cute. The lady that took my order and rang me up was super friendly and answered any questions I had. Lots of seating and right off 321. If you haven't been please do yourself a favor and go visit them. Sorry for no photos, we were hungry lol!! Go get ya'll some yummy food

Me and my husband went and ate there. Food was very good. I had the Curry chicken with jasmine rice. It wS enough for another meal at home we shared a spring roll and Crab wontons and my husband got the wings. Everything was ready good and the restaurant has a 100 on sanitation. I’m glad we have a new restaurant in the area❤️

The food offered by the family at Mali Thai Kitchen is incredible! It is a real gem in Husdon. Thank you for the delicious, home made crab ragoon and thai egg rolls. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pad thai, pad see-ew, and pork lettuce wrap. When we want a delicious meal filled with flavor at a reasonable price, we head to your restaurant.

This Thai restaurant is definitely worth stopping for! If you like fresh, favorful food, this place is for you!

I got food poisoning and parasites for 3 weeks after eating the curry and boba. Don’t eat here unless you want worms!

The food is amazing here, much better than the other Thai places in hickory. This place actually has flavor and spice if you like. The pad Thai, panang curry, and Tom Ka soup were fantastic! I would definitely recommend!

Ate here for lunch and it was so yummy. The crab rangoon and spring rolls were delicious. My partner got the drunken noodles and I got the Pad Med Lu-Eng. Both phenomenal dishes. The amount of food you get is astounding and you have leftovers to take home and enjoy. 10/10 and could eat here every day.

Food was excellent! Wife had Pad Thai and I had Panang curry. The inside has been redone and looks nice, people working were super nice. Give it a try, you'll not be disappointed!

I had never tried thai food until today. I got the green curry with chicken. It was fantastic!!! It was so flavourful and creamy!!

Excellent food. Don’t remember what it was called but I tried the first item on the dinner menu. Chicken, peppers, onion, mushroom and rice. Friendly hardworking staff. 100 sanitary score. Beautiful mural to admire inside.

Having lived in the Hickory, NC area for nearly 7 years, our family had yet to find a favorite Thai restaurant until we tried Mali Thai today. The excellent service, fresh spring rolls, and light and perfectly flavored pad Thai with exactly the right amount of spice made a great first impression. Highly recommended, and we will definitely visit again.

Food was to die for and I took my wife there today for our anniversary dinner and she loved tha entries egg rolls with spring rolls with peanut sauce is so good we will be back aw and the pinapple fried rice with chicken curry is so good we will be back.

I passed this place a few times and it has changed a bit from Dan’s diner to dirty thumbs Caribbean. But let me tell you I’m so glad I stopped… as someone who’s spent time traveling through Thailand, this brought me right back to Phitsanulok in a small area with a mom and pop set up that sold the most delicious green curry I’ve ever said. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. And I’ve seen some of the reviews for price and let me say, it isn’t that bad. Compared to paying 300 baht (~8$ US) this place is pretty reasonable considering the prep work. Will definitely eat here whenever I get the chance!

Food was good bill was alittle over $60.00 left a cash tip on table when I check my bank account they charged me $72.00 .. beware cross out the tip line when paying with a card if not they will fill it out for u ….

Excellent Thai food. I hope that they last in this area. It is pricey, but the portions are large. Best time to go is during lunch, because prices are better, but do yourself a favor and order water. The drinks (tea, soda) are expensive here. 2 drinks is approximately $8.00

My husband and I have been there twice now. They were super busy the second time, so I’m not sure if it was that,or just that we ordered differently but the food was AMAZING the first time (just okay the second- but I’m picky about my pad Thai) regardless we will definitely be going back.
First time we ordered the red curry and drunken noodles (a little salty from the fish sauce, but still good)!

Fantastic new Thai place in Hudson. Been waiting for this a long time! The food is as good as you could find any where! I can recommend the PadvThai and Panang Curry

My wife and I both had the Pad Thai and it was amazing. She is not a fan of spice but I am. She got mild and it was perfect for her. I got the medium but added extra chili oil and it was perfect for me. Excellent service and clean environment inside. I love Thai food and will definitely be recommending them to others and plan to be back!

Let me say this: the food was delish.

But that price point will be the reason we won’t be coming back regularly. The price point isn’t set up for a weekly or even a bi weekly destination which is usually the desired traffic.
A dinner for two, an appetizer and two drinks came to over $50. Our meals were $18.00 each, which we didn’t see printed on the menu. Which we thought was weird. We would have either consolidated our order or ordered something else if we had known.
We just went to another Thai restaurant in Hickory, and it was less than $35. (Our meals were $13.00 each and were the same quality)
And that restaurant had a far more inviting atmosphere that looked extremely costly, whereas this one looks like an old taco place.

The curry was good a little over priced. A word of advice they should cut the tails off the shrimp so you don't have to cut them off while your eating your curry.

Have done takeout 3 times. Each meal was excellent, fresh ingredients and well prepared. Will definitely keep coming back.

I ordered drunken noodles with tofu and it was excellent. Tofu was cooked on point. My BF ordered Pad Thai in the spiciest possible way and it was on fire. Definitely recommend!

Staff was friendly but unfortunately the Pad Thai had no flavor. I was so disappointed hoping that I wouldn't have to go to Hickory, Morganton, Wilkes or SF to get good Thai food. I plan to try one more time hopefully tonight was a fluke.

Very happy to have a Thai restaurant near Lenoir. We got the Massaman curry, delicious broth, and the mixed veggie pad thai that had a nice assortment of vegetables. We can't wait to go back to try different things.

Nothing to write home about, drinks are $3.75 and the kids meal is $9.95 and is chicken tenders and fries. The food was reasonably seasoned and the boba tea was decent, otherwise not exceptional.
