Ordered takeout from here and it was good. The customer service was great from taking my order to pickup.
Overall the food was good but not as spicy as I would have liked it to be. That said, I did not specifically request it to be hot when I ordered so remember to do so in case you like your Thai food spicy.

This was my first time eating Thai food, and it did not disappoint. Everything I got was very reasonably priced, especially considering the portion sizes. The food itself was delicious (the picture of what I got is Ladna with Chicken). The waitress was very polite and attentive. The restaurant has a nice calm, quiet atmosphere and the chairs were fairly comfortable.

All in all, I do plan to go again and I would definitely recommend :D

This is a great place for Thai food. Large menu to choose from. The food comes out super hot and fresh. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Fast service. Clean restaurant. I highly recommend stopping by this place. Affordable pricing as well. The bathrooms are in need of some repair. We will definitely be back.

The owner is always there with a friendly smile and helping out her community , when Helene came through Friday she was feeding people in community who didn't have power even if they didn't have enough cash, or cash at all, since she didn't have electricity for ccard machine. This place is fabulous.
The last Thai restaurant we went to (Salisbury) took us 2.5 hours. This- we were in and out in under an hour.
Food was fresh, hot, and so yummy!
Our baseline order is always a Pad Thai. My husband loves it without the vegetables. He said this was the top one he's had so far (and he's had quite a few).
I ordered the Woonsen Noodle, with Beef, and it was delish. I also added that crispy chili oil. OMG. Perfect.
If you want a taste of Thai, you don't have far to go. This is a great place, and very friendly staff.

While the Pad Thai is a bit sweeter than I care for I have not had a dish here that disappointed. Portions are generous and flavors are rich.
Be aware the tables are a little sticky at all times, try carry out if that is a deal-breaker.

The shrimp massaman had a rich fantastic flavor. It was such a a great meal that I came back for take out a day later.

The Thai lotus seafood and shrimp pad Thai were also amazing.

For me, this restaurant has the best Pho in town. I eat here a few times a week and have never been disappointed. The red and green curry dishes are also good. Very warm atmosphere with friendly staff members.

My husband and I love the food at this restaurant. We like to go here almost weekly and have been going here for years.
The waitresses are great! We always leave good tips. We made the mistake of complaining once about a dish being too hot for me to eat. But, since I requested the dish to be hot I let it go. I inquired about being overcharged once and the manager came out and discussed it with us. Both times, my husband and I were very polite. Let's just say that the concept of the customer always being right does not apply to this restaurant. Since complaining, the manager totally ignores us when we are there and even goes to the point of avoiding us (loyal customers). Before we complained, the manager ALWAYS spoke to us and even would ask about our daughter. The main reason we keep coming back is the food. But, this manager has no idea what good customer service is.

What more can you ask from a restaurant than amazing food and friendly service? They always make me feel like they're happy to see me. Their pad thai is fantastic and generous portions. I can never even finish a lunch portion. I love you guys!

My son loves the Pho, the eggplant stir fry is so good, the eggplant tastes like the most perfectly seasoned piece of meat. Portion sizes are good. The pineapple fried rice is enough for 2 meals by itself. They're not open a ton of hours, but it's worth stopping by.

2nd time. Not good Thai food. Ordered a dish not realizing it was laoded with Curry. They said you can order something else, but we have to charge you for the plate you ordered. Came hungry, left hungry. WTH.....never again will I go back. That is the worse service ever.

I’ve come to this place about three or four times and the food and spring rolls was always amazing. I come and go today spent over $40 on two plates. The rice wasn’t firm at all. I ordered a combination plate and I had two shrimp throughout the whole plate, the few little pieces of chicken and steak that were in there Was tough and taste the old I was so hurt because I have been excited about going, but it was a waste never again but I will recommend this spring rolls and the sauce that comes with it.is amazing.

First time here and my food came out cool. Ordered chicken curry and I was expecting a lot since its a Thai restaurant and I grew up eating kapoon or say red curry. I never had pho noodles/pad thai noodles in my curry before. This was my first pho-curry 😭 it was disappointing.. only if they would had the courtesy to tell me ahead of time that they didn't have the ingredient or right noodle and see if pho noodle was ok or to or order something else. The waitress didn't give us silverware either and I had to ask for them.

We ordered a fried fish, basil pork, green curry chicken, Tomyum soup.
If you prefer Isaan style of Thai food, green curry went well with the sticky rice. Fried fish was good as well.
Tomyum soup fell short of expectations. It was a little shocking when they refused to sell us more sunny side up eggs which is key to Thai hawker styled food.

Horrible food and bad customer service! I Ordered a beef drunken noodle dish and when it came out, it had a overpowering and horrible sour smell. Good food should smell good! Shouldn’t smell like you think you might get food poisoning if you eat it. I also asked my friend to smell it to see if it was just me and She agreed it had a funky smell. I asked the waitress to see if I could get the same dish but maybe with a different protein because it smelled horrible. The owner comes out looking disappointed as if I’m about to scam her for free food. She doesn’t even greet me, just asks to see what the problem was like she’s had the same problem before. I told her that the food had a weird smell to it and if I could maybe get a different protein but same dish. She then said she bought the meat earlier in the morning at food lion and that even if I was to get the same dish it’s the same ingredients. She proceeds to tell me I would have to pay for both, the bad smelly one and the new one. To that response, I just said forget it. I’m not going to deal with this. Why should I have to pay for potential food poisoning? She Didn’t offer anything else for something I couldn’t and wouldn’t eat because the smell was so bad. Went to dinner with my friend to not even eat! Then they avoided our table the rest of our stay and I so desperately wanted them to remove the dish because it smelled horrible!! Horrible service!

My elderly mother and I were visiting from Asheville, over an hour away. I eat plant based. We arrived to a very warm welcome and were so happy to patronize a family owned establishment. The service and food were excellent and a refreshing attitude. You can tell this restaurant wants you to return. I wish it was where we live. Prices are ridiculously reasonable for quality food and service. Decor is nicely done. You could eat the junk at McDonald's, right outside, for a similar price, or you could go to Thai Lotus and get some real, nutritious and freshly prepared tasty food. I haven't seen my 87 year old mother finish her plate anywhere in at least 15 years. If the kitchen hadn't been closing after our late arrival, she was considering ordering another meal to take home. I highly recommend Thai Lotus. You can't beat the food and especially the value. If I'm in Hickory again, I'm a repeat customer guaranteed. Bravo!

Waitress wasn't happy, never got any refills. Tried the fish, It's not worth $23, had better for less, only flavor was the sweet sugar sauce on the fish. It'll be my first n last for this place.

Ate there today, the Pad Thai was terrible, tasted like what a cat litter box smells like. When I complained, their only option was to offer to remake the plate.

Excellent food and flavor profiles. Definitely recommend the vegetable curry, papaya salad, and the fried chicken stir fry dish! The only complaint is that the front door bells are so jarring and loud, that they interrupt everything and conversations in the restaurant

I got pad thai and drunken noodles- usually my go to's when trying out a new thai place, wish I had gotten some curry though.
The pad thai was good- big portion, tasty enough just not anything to write home about.
The drunken noodles were okay- big portion here too, way less flavorful than the pad thai which was a bit disappointing as this is usually my favorite. Spice level was on point for both.
Service was top notch! I got takeout but both of the ladies behind the counter were friendly and welcoming and my food was done exactly when they said it'd be, so no complaints overall.

Good food, good vegetarian options. Great service! Will be coming here again.

I got the drunken noodle chicken thai hot. And it was delicious. Not sure if my taste buds were just weirding out, but on top of the thai Chile heat a habanero flavor was coming through. Might've just been me but if there was habanero in it I think they might be onto to something.

This was the worst pad Thai I have ever eaten. The noodles were like mush with a little bit of red sauce mixed in. Way over priced and non edible. If you want good pad thai and other Thai entrees go to The Peanut House on Springs Rd. They were closed for renovations but reopen tomorrow. We would have gotten more enjoyment burning the 2 20.00 bills we wasted on this meal. By the way that's double what we pay for the exact same meal at The Peanut House. Check it out I promise you won't be disappointed.

Food is great but the customer service is poor. Everytime I go there, there's always that same quite & unfriendly waiter girl there. The resturant seems like they could use another waiter; better yet get rid of the current waiter. The last time was the last straw for me. I was on a strict one hr. lunch from work and with my mother. This waiter will walk pass you several times without asking if everything was alright or if you needed something. We waited & waited to get her attention then finally, I chased her down for our bill and to go boxes, even though I've asked for it earlier. Not once did she apologized or acknowledged this unprofessional act. I strongly believe that the face or faces of a resturant truly presents the way you handle your busuness and this waiter is definitely not going to be the savior of this restaurant. Please learn some customer service!

I really enjoyed the flavor of the food... I feel that the presentation can be worked on was confused that a dish came on 2 separate plates instead of plated as 1 which was kind of weird to me and the seafood/veggies portions was not equal by no means. You could tell the "Larger cut carrots" was filling for the very small portions of seafood added. I wish places would stop doing that.....because its very annoying like they don't think people notice because WE DO. The plate definitely was not worth $15 to me PERSONAL OPINION. My friends plate however the drunken noodles was piled high which was strange to me anyway when the spice rack was brought out it was empty. But hey... people in this area are used to it why would by review change anything??? The place is very small and intimate. Prob would go again for the egg rolls.....and the sauce.

1st time there...food was outstanding. Crunchy roll appetizers were delicious. I ordered the Thai Lotus fried rice with pork, and I couldn't stop eating it. I ordered it "Thai hot," but to be honest it was less heat than expected. Gradual build of heat, yet never detracted from the flavor of the food. My wife ordered the Thai chicken that was also excellent. We will certainly be back.

Delicious food! Loved the jasmine sweet tea! Loved the option of adding tofu to pretty much anything! And the mango coconut sticky rice was to die for! Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there is no sushi on menu.

Food is good. It's your small typical take out or eat in place. Prices are reasonable. Your food doesn't take long and it's hot and fresh.
