I had a great experience at Nai Thai 2! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. However, there was a bit of a distraction with the staff checking in repeatedly, almost as if they were trying to rush us, even though we were just enjoying our food and conversation. Despite that, the staff was friendly and pleasant. Overall, a lovely meal with great flavors!

Got a to-go order at this restaurant last night, went to pick up order, the restaurant ambience looked good. Our order was Drunken noodles, Hot Basil and fried rice ( paid extra) and appetizer Fried Calamari. The good first, the drunken noodles were awesome. Very tasty, right spice, right portions and super good.
The Calamari was good but it's a lot less for $9, the portions were super small.
The Hot Basil was tasty but the meat vegetable ratio was very bad and the bad part the extra fried was so teeny. It was packed in a styrofoam container which was melted and bent out of form because of the heat.
We were here for a soccer showcase, this is not going to feed a hungry soccer teen. Very poor portions for the price. What is there in providing a little extra portion of fried rice when charging extra. SMH!
One hungry person will need 2 Entree's at this place.

An absolute Gem in Goldsboro. This was a suprise find. The service is excellent. The food so tasty and really priced well. Our 8 year old loves the fried rice. Oh and the springs rolls... we ordered an extra order of those.

I really like the qaulity and presentation of the food. The price was fair and the flavors were spot on. Apple, our server is so kind and smiled the whole time she was taking care of us. Thank you for the wonderful customer service and amazing food! We will come back when we are in Goldsboro!

First time on this type of food ... NOW I am a lover of this.

The food is amazing, staff are friendly and wait times (in my experience) are never horrible. Even during peak dinner hour, it never takes long to get a table or get your food. There are a few gluten free options (which I have to eat because I have Celiac) and those options are divine and haven’t made me sick. Very satisfied with the service I’ve had there, yesterday made it my second visit!

Highly disappointed. Ordered the lettuce wraps and the lettuce was soggy limp and also had brown decaying leafs. Asked for a first refill on my soda waitress brings a glass filled with soda and no ice. For the price I won't be back.

The food was adequate.
I ordered my food thai hot but it was barely hot.
My wife ordered her dish without green peppers due to an allergy and after sending it back twice they just picked the peppers out and didn't even get all of them out.
The waiter was apologetic but the food wasn't very good either way.

this place was phenomenal. absolutely amazing food, very quick service, incredibly nice servers, wasn't very loud, but not uncomfortably quiet either. really nice decor and the boba tea was delicious. i had the hot basil with beef, spice level four. it was perfect. I came here just because it was the closest place an hour away from where I live, and I would drive a full hour there and back just to eat here. wonderful place, definitely would recommend.

I took myself on a solo dinner date. As soon as I walked in, I had a great laugh from one of the wait staff members! Apple (my waitress) sat with me and made me feel so welcomed. It was like I was at home. She helped me figure out what tea and food item to try, and we shared a few laughs! I got spring rolls, which I crave heavily! I also got panang curry with tofu and extra veggies, and white rice. The curry was so flavorful, savory, and just delicious, and a huge portion! I spent almost $40 on myself, but there was so much food I had leftovers for 2 more meals! Made prepping lunches easier on me for the week and was so yummy each time! I found my new favorite local place! I cook these things at home usually because it's not easy to find safe vegan food in Goldsboro, NC, but the 3 sister's and apple at NaiThai 2, you gave me a home away from home! When this momma needs a break from cooking and home life, I'm taking myself here on a date!

They were busy when we got there. Service wasn't as good as normal. But they didn't have hardly any seats open.

I ordered over the phone. When I say Nai Thai II delivered, it’s an understatement. The food was amazing. The Pho was cooked perfectly, the basil duck 🤦🏽‍♀️, papaya salad superb, pad Thai amazing and the lettuce wraps and vegetable rolls was the icing on the cake. The next time I’ll be coming into the restaurant and have a sit down meal. They did not disappoint. Y’all can thank me later.

Sorry but that beef was very tough but the flavor was fantastic. All you had to do was braise it for hours if you are going to use that quality of beef. Would not order again. Pad So Ew (sp?) was great.

According to the internet menu, I ordered what was supposed to be crispy basil duck for $16 and Thai chicken soup that was listed for $10 plus $2 for added shrimp. I was told the bill would be $38.50 for the $28 order, but when I got there they claimed not to have change for 2 twenties. The duck was very salty and all of the vegetables were very over cooked. Both dishes were not appetizing and poor quality. I came from Maryland will never order from Nai Thai 2 ever again in this lifetime!

Just moved here and found this place!!! Amazing food and such friendly staff. Love the crab dip appetizer and the Massaman curry. But everything we have tried has been so yummy. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Went here for takeout and it was just ok. If there was a 2.5 stars option for the food we had that would be more appropriate.

The pineapple fried rice was soggy it didn't really taste or look like fried rice. The rice grains were over cooked and a bit mushy

The drunken noodles were also ok, and extremely spicy. There was also some eggshells in my noodle

We ordered all the dishes medium and the other three barely had any spice the drunken noodles for whatever reason was very spicy ( I guess it was to make up for the lack of spice in the other three dishes 😂)

I also found it a tad bit expensive compared to other Thai restaurants I've visited and they also charge you separately if you want to add protein to the dish which is also unique.

Drove from Greenville trying to find very good Thai food, but I might be coming to the conclusion that Thai food in 'ENC' is just average.

I have celiac disease and have a hard time finding good gluten free food while traveling. The gluten free options are limited but delicious. I got drunken noodles and a Thai tea, and had no issues. This is a rare find, especially for Goldsboro. My husband also enjoyed his meal. If we lived in the area, we would definitely be there weekly.

This is one of my top three places to eat in Goldsboro! I never thought it'd be an option to have such amazing, authentic Thai curry out here, but surprise!! Nothing against Goldsboro, it was just so unexpected. Ugh..its so freakin good..honestly I've never had a bad or even 'just ok' thing from here. Everything has always been made to perfection. The staff here is incredibly nice and personable; they make you feel welcome and at home right away and the atmosphere is really eclectic and exciting. I've not met the three sisters that started the place and make the food but they're back there making heckin magic! The pork belly Ramen is really good, and I've tried several of their curries but the green curry, to me, is the best. I will never stop coming here!!😁❤

I paid almost $18.00 for some chicken ramen noodles that took an hour to prepare. I wasn't impressed. Next time I'll just go to the grocery store and buy a pack of cheap ramen and add some chicken.

One of our favorite spots! We had family in town and came in tonight for dinner. Everything was fantastic! Our waitress was very attentive and service was great.(we had my 8 month old with us and I loved how it wasn’t a long wait for the apps or entrees) The owner also checked up on us(as he always does anytime we’ve gone in there) very nice owner who truly cares about his customers experience!

The Tom Ka was delicious and the Cashew Chicken was so good - wish it had some more chicken - and the Thai Tea was so tasty and flavorful. I only wish there was a closer Thai restaurant, like this one, in the Smithfield area. Otherwise, I will have to drive to Goldsboro for my Thai fix - it's that good!

I gave it 5 stars because everything was great. Service was friendly and prompt. But, my favorite dish is panang curry which I've had many times in many different Thai restaurants. This was the least flavorful of any I've ever had. Not that it wasn't good because it was, just lacking what I was accustomed to from other Thai restaurants. My wife's cashew chicken was very good.

This was our first time there. I enjoyed the meal, the sauce was really good, however the chicken was sort of rubbery and cut in large chunks. Other than that, nice place.

Dinner on the date above. Seated quickly but a tad slow on initial greeting from wait staff. Picked up and was excellent thereafter. Food came out quick, too.

Started with the potstickers. These are good. Fried nicely, and the sauce isn't needed, in my opinion. Can make a meal of these. Excellent and a reorder.

Main was the Basil Duck. Enjoyed this but didn't wow me. Came with mostly vegetables. The duck was tender and moist. The sauce on all of it was good. Solid but would try something else the next go-round.

The interior is clean, decorative, and has plenty of seating. It was busy on the evening above.

Worth a look again.

I had family visiting from out of town Saturday. I bragged about having a really good Thai restaurant in Goldsboro. We came in on Saturday (6/24.) We ordered red Curry with shrimp, spring rolls, and drunken noodles. The drunken noodles was awful. I was disappointed and embarrassed. The food is pricey but usually great. The red curry taste good but the amount of shrimp in it was just unexceptable. I'm not sure what was going on in the kitchen on Saturday.

This place has great food, but we love going there because of the people who run it. My Togo order was running late tonight so the owner poured me a beer while I waited. I got home with the food and it was perfect. The Tom Ka is always on point! It’s one of our favorite restaurants in Goldsboro.

Truly excellent Thai food! Family owned and operated, family recipes, and a nice selection of craft beer. As with much Thai food, it can be a bit spicy, so if you are sensitive, make sure the staff knows your limits. All of our food was truly delicious, sizable portions at a reasonable price and excellent quality!

We will not be back. Heard great things so went for date night. They brought my husband’s food out well before mine. He was done before my food came out. It was not worth the wait. Then the waiter stood over me and watched me sign the check and fill out the tip amount. He did not get a good tip. I don’t recommend this place. They didn’t even offer to discount the meal.

Came here over the weekend in the morning time and had the most pleasant experience with, not only to food but, the wonderful service. I got the Beef Bulgogi bowl and it was flavorful and delightful . The waitress, Jasmine, was very friendly and made sure we were thoroughly taken care of.

First time there. I ordered the Pad Thai Shrimp, it was really good I'll give that 10/10. The Mango Boba Tea was awesome, definitely 10/10. And the last one I ordered the Sticky Rice with Mango for Dessert, it was alright not too bad. I'll give that a 7/10. The inside of the restaurant is nice. I love the food, definitely coming back here again.

Every other time I’ve been here it’s been great, but I called in an order of Tom yum soup and ordered a large. My husband picked it up and got home with it, it was a small with no noodles (that’s why I ordered the large) called up there and was told I can come in Tuesday (4 days later) and order a new one…. No compensation for the mix up was offered.

I received a call clarifying my order. So great customer service. I paid extra because I wanted boiled egg and substituted rice with noodles for $5.00. I had a duck dish so expected. However the noodles were not fresh and overcooked. The duck was not crispy. The quantity is small. I usually have enough for two meals when I order from anywhere else like Sushi Nine. I didn't eat in but the atmosphere seems nice . The place is small and in a plaza.

Place didn't have many people at all. . . But I remember going here 5 years ago and it was a little different. The food was great. Got everything I wanted plus more. Ready to go back so I can try there Ramon noodles. . .

Finished off our girls day with Nai Tai. Girl child's pick. She wasn't thrilled with the pineapple rice she wanted more pineapple 🍍and shrimp 🤣. Should have had her get the ramen, but she wanted to try new things. The green curry was great. Food is always fantastic, great service, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere.

So, Nai Thai is my go to for food in Goldsboro. They have great staff. Ally, she is nice, seems to be pretty helpful, the only downfall is I can’t seem to find a way to buy one of their sweatshirts. I would love to be able to have one to wear around. If I could possible be contacted to get one of those sweatshirts, it would be greatly appreciated. I am wanting to pay, just not 100 in all twenties 🤔

I came in today to get lunch with co-workers, Ally recognized me and she let me buy a sweatshirt! I will now be back more often.

Customer service was horrible. I felt like I was rushed the minute I walked in. I didn't know about Thai food, so I asked the server about different plates but he seemed uninterested to explain. Overall bad experience.

So, I've eaten here many times before but never left a review and this may not be the best visit to leave a review on but I'll update on my next visit because I'll definitely be back.

Ordered the Calamari and it was fine but it's definitely a frozen product.

Ordered the Papaya Salad and it had no Papaya. I'm not sure what happened but it was just not good.

Then ordered the Weeping Tiger. That's my own fault. A Thai place is probably not the most reliable place to grab a ribeye.

Now, all of that was not what this place is usually like. I just ordered the wrong thing for me.

What I have had in the past that was fantastic was the Larb Chicken Salad and the Drunken Noodles and the Green Curry. I'll definitely return to one of those on my next visit.

By the way, the service was great!

First time coming here, the food was great! Ordered glass noodles with shrimp. Actually came with a wonderful amount of vegetables as well! Enough food to feed me twice. The service was great as well, we stayed for a couple hours chatting like ladies do, and the wait staff was very friendly with us. The dinning room was great, music/t.v. wasn't so loud that I couldn't hear the party. Definitely going to bring the hubby back here for date night! Thanks guys!

My husband and I decided to stop in and have lunch here for our anniversary and we are so glad that we did! It wasnt too busy, staff were friendly, and food was out fast! I tried the beef bulgogi bowl and it was delicious! My husband ordered the Basil Crispy Duck, which was also very good! We will definitly be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Disappointing. Fied rice came with mostly rice. Hardly any protien and literally 3 carrots and some onions. I felt like I just ate rice for dinner, not much flavor either. Expensive and just okay service. Will not return.

Ordered pineapple Thai rice it literally had 3 shrimp and barely any chicken. Called was told that’s what come in it and if I wanted more I would have to it extra. The plate was already $14. The young man that took care of me fixed my order & and ensured I was good. Got home with something different and it’s another plate full of rice🙄. At this point I’m like whatever. Food IS GOOD AND SO IS THE SERVICE. Thanks to the guys that made sure I was satisfied

The restaurant was beautiful and the staff was super amazing but we had pot stickers, fresh summer rolls, dumpling Ramen, and pad thai. We had to send back the Ramen because it tasted like pasta water.... really lacking in flavor and just really underwhelming. The people who were around us were asking for the condiment tray before they even tried the food.

Got takeout and it was delicious! Steamed dumplings and ginger chicken to eat.

Picked this place through google because we were coming from out of town so didn’t know what to expect, but was blown away. This was the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand itself. The staff was also very attentive and helpful and the place was very clean. They even had bottles of hand sanitizer on each table, a great touch. If I’m ever in Goldsboro again I will definitely be stopping by!

Since then it’s become our lunch date spot. I love it so much. The staff is nothing but nice and accommodating. The food is AMAZING.

Had an issue where I placed an order/called, however the restaurant was closed and hours were not updated by mistake. Owner handled it very professionally and called me personally to apologize and make it right.

Waitress was very slow eventhough we were only table. She wrote one of our plates wrong and still had us pay for it along with the corrected one. Eventhough she realized and admitted it was her mistake. Ate with them plenty of times before and had always been good.

I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is absolutely amazing! My favorite is the Northern Thai Curry. It’s one of my favorite (if not my #1) places to eat in Goldsboro! Great staff and the owner always talks to the guests to make sure they’re enjoying their meal. I love this place!

Pho soup is delicious.

The people there are so friendly. The food is great and the price is reasonable. I always get more than I can eat. Big servings.

Not that Goldsboro has a wide selection of eateries, But this is the best restaurant in Goldsboro. Hands down

We ordered take out today and I never have high expectations of Thai restaurants in America. I was really surprised and absolutely loved everything we got. The papaya salad was delicious, only thing missing were the dried shrimp. We ordered curry, spring rolls and Ramen. My husband really enjoyed the Ramen too. The big plus for me was ordering it spicy and actually getting spicy. Excellent job!

The Northern Thai Curry was unique and delicious. Will be back!

It would have been better if the cooks knew the menu. Been here twice and both times the soups that I ordered were missing ingredients that were listed and had added ingredients that weren't listed. I ordered what I wanted and they were in there just winging it. Unfortunately I will not be going back.

This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Goldsboro. The service is always excellent, we get great recommendations, and the food is outstanding. Whenever we go we try to get something different and they never disappoint. The northern Thai curry so far is the favorite but everything that’s been recommended has absolutely been worth it.

Fantastic Tom Yum soup! Friendly and fast service, delicious food, and you know I just can't find the right words really. I think if I tried I'd mess up this review. It should be six stars. I love this so much I went back the very next day to get another soup!

I'm not from Goldsboro, NC; however, I couldn't believe that where I get the Pho in which I love, is a little cheaper than Nai Thai 2. Plus the serving at NT2 is skimpy ... not as much as where I usually get my Pho. I know every place is different, but I was taken aback.

The closest you can find to original Thai dishes in the area! The main dishes are good sized portions and very filling. The only issue I had was with the Coconut Cake, it was very dry.

This place has great beers and best of all the best soups you can find in the states. Ive been to Thailand and ever since Ive come back Ive been looking for something similar to the food there, this place comes the closest and I love it.

some of the best Thai I've ever had! Tofu Pad Thai was perfect! spring rolls were great. The food was hot, the drinks are cold, and the service is fast! that is a 5 star place! trust me I'm fat.

The best place in Goldsboro! The staff are extremely friendly and are constantly checking on the customers. The food is amazing and comes out quick. Overall, this place is beyond amazing. My family has eaten here at least 10 times and will keep coming back!!
