This was my first time eating Thai in a long time. I ordered the chicken pad thai with a little spice. The portion was huge as I couldn't finish it all. Next time I will try something else as this dish was good but simple. Pad thai is a pretty simple dish for Thai though. My boyfriend got the Kang Pa and loved it!!! My parents are vegan and also love this place and they have many great options for them. The dish came out fast and hot. Will definitely be back to try more.
This place has delicious food. This was the first time I've eaten Thai food, but my date loves this place. The server was so nice and answered all my questions and helped me decide what I was going to order. I'm a picky eater, and she said we can make that dish without the stuff in it that you don't want. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. I recommend #63 on the menu, and if you like Thai food, then you need to check this place out. They have a lot of different options in their menu. The prices are very reasonable and they give you so much food. Stop in and try them out. This is my new favorite restaurant when visiting my sisters at Lake Norman.
One of the worst experiences we've ever had from a delivery. Menu pictures and descriptions are absolutely nothing like what was delivered. We ordered the King and I and Rice Soup with Chicken and what we received was 5 pieces of tiny, boiled shrimp and a nominal amount of minced chicken in broth. We called to complain and clarify and Nash told us that the kitchen would apologize to us and they'd do better next time. And when we tasted it, everything was bland and tasteless.
This place was amazing. Great service! Food was wholesome and delicious, and the decor was beautiful. They bring soup to your table immediately, which I very much enjoyed. I will be back for sure!
If you love bright flavors and fresh ingredients, this place is a must-try! They serve delicious Thai food that makes each meal special. One of their standout dishes is the Pad Thai, which is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, making it a great spot for a meal with family or friends. The service is friendly too; the staff always makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time there!
Had the yellow curry and pad kee mow. Both dishes were fabulous. Staff is warm and inviting. They are very busy with takeout orders so service can sometimes be a bit slow during busy times but this food is so flavorful you won’t be disappointed. We will be back.
The location is easy in easy out. The store front is dated and appeared clean. Our server (older male) polite and attentive. He appeared to be responsible for the entire front of the restaurant. Quiet environment. Customers seemed to be frequent guests as they all seemed to be very familiar with the staff and each other. Numerous door dash drivers came for pickups no wait everything ready and waiting at front table. Numerous takeout/phone orders from “regulars” again seem less setup.
Had a Thai tea with cream. Lots of flavor probably the reason for four stars.
Our food was super hot. Presentation was clean and crisp. Server super attentive. Again, impressive considering he covered 10 tables simultaneously.
We had noodle dishes. Bride’s was beef and mine was chicken. Her’s distinctively Smokey smell without a ton of flavor. Mine zero smoke smell was supposed to be spicy but I felt it needed more.
Over all I am not really sure what was lacking…but something left me wanting…
Price was on par with food.
After thinking about it I just feel that other Thai and Vietnamese places do it better…
Wonderful true Thai flavor
I came up to the register to pick up my order and the server asked for me to give her a minute. While I was waiting the other lady at the register skipped me to help a Caucasian gentlemen or and the server that told me to wait went and got his food and then left. Eventually I was given my order. I felt very disrespected. I emmy be ordering here again.

Food is amazing, panang curry is tuff to find, it's a family favorite and never dissapoints.

Bad compared to the other Thai Houses. Bad food. Rude service

The go to place for Thai food in Cornelius.
Long time customer at old Sharon Rd location & now in Cornelius- one of best Thai restaurants in Charlotte area.
I've been here several times over the past few years. The chicken pad thai is always excellent as is the service.
I don't recommend ordering online. They use 3rd party services instead of direct through their website so they don't have all the options and charge extra. If you need a "to go" order, just order it at the restaurant. It doesn't take long.
Picked up the Thai fried rice with shrimp and chicken asked for it to be medium hot ! The rice was Mushy like soggy !! Had absolutely no flavor and it was $21 for mushy rice ! Very disappointed!!
This place is delicious. First time here and wow they have GREAT Tom Kha soup. So happy I found this place on accident.
This was my first time eating Thai in a long time. I ordered the chicken pad thai with a little spice. The portion was huge as I couldn't finish it all. Yummy! Super friendly folks. Three different dishes and all were excellent. We'll definitely go back.
I ordered spicy level 3 of 6 (good heat). Best Thai food east of Colorado. I love asian food (thai, indian, etc.) I try lots of places including 5 or 10 in Boulder, CO. EVERTHING here was the best I've had east of Colorado. So good!
Another visit: tried Pad Krapraw with chicken. It was well done but I'll stick to my favorite Pad Khing next time.
Pineapple fried rice was good.
One of the Best Green Thai Curry’s I have had!
Flavor ! Consistency! Spice level everything was to the point. If you enjoy spice get level 7!
I’ve been going to Thai house for the last three years and I’ve always enjoyed it as they fry in veggie oil. I have a severe peanut allergy and I’ve always called and put my order in asking for there to be no peanuts. The last two times that I went, Ive had issues. The last time, peanuts were on the top of the the food so I couldn’t eat it and today, when I ordered, I opened the food at the restaurant to make sure there were no peanuts on top and I didn’t see any. I got home and took my first bite, and they had just stirred in peanuts into the meal instead of just putting it on top and I had to use an epipen. The food is good but if you have any allergies, I don’t trust them excluding them from your order so unfortunately, I don’t feel safe enough to go back.
Absolutely the most bizarre pad Thai I’ve ever had. Some kind of narrow rice noodles, bright orange sauce that kind of tastes like sweet and sour, overcooked cabbage, and a very small portion of peanuts and chicken. The crab rangoons ranged from cold to room temperature with a loose filling. Just weird. We picked up from the brewery next door so really there was no reason for the temperature issue.
My usual tai place was closed so I decided to try out this place. I ordered takeout and was blown away! Finally an authentic restaurant in the lake norman area!! The red curry is amazing!! My son got the beef pad see ew and loved it. I tried it as well and agree!! Also the portions are generous and the people working there are very nice. 10/10!!! Will definitely be making this one of my staples.
If you're non-white, don't shop here. They don't even view you as a customer that wants to order and ignore you.
Pretty stereotypical that an Asian restaurant only views white customers as valuable
Love this place
I have ordered from here on door dash several times and it is always so good! I live in Mooresville and it is the best place around in consideration to what I have in closer distance. I always get the Pad See Ew and it never disappoints!!!
It's just not good. Doesn't taste like any other Thai food I've had. The crab rangoons weren't that great either. Pass
Best Thai food Ive ever had!!!!
10/10!!
Top 5 favorite places.
Great food experience! I will be back. We had the gyoza, traditional pad Thai that we split (we figured it would a large portion and it was). The complimentary soup - I don’t remember the name - but it was subtle with many flavors and it was great. Now at all what I expected. This was our first time visiting.
This place has amazing food and I just now found out about it after living in Cornelius for my whole life. Clean and nicely decorated interior, and friendly staff! I got Tom yum (spice lv.4) and pad thai (spice lv. 3) to go. I love how you can choose the spice level, but I will definitely choose higher spice level for pad thai next time. They include plenty of your protein choice in the dishes. The Thai tea is authentic and tastes great, but a little sweet for me personally so I added a little extra ice. I can’t want to try everything else on their menu!
I placed an over the phone order for pick-up. Order was not understood and requested the correction the young lady in front all but say no. Then she did correct but not without out a disgruntled face and attitude. We barely live 7 mins away the food was really cold, noodles were cooked to mush in both dishes. Food was not tasty. Having eaten here before we expected a fabulous meal. We both paid the price for the next two-days. I had the drunken noodles and my better half had the pad Thai. We also ordered spring rolls and pad see ewe, the vegetables were extremely over cooked, mushy beyond belief and not crispy at all. We will not be revisiting this restaurant 😒
Thai House has great food and they give ample portions for the price. I typically get the beef pad see ewe and it’s been good every time. My wife and I eat here a couple times a year and it’s always good.
Great food. Fair prices. Lovely, lovely people run it and work there.
First time customer. Had Pad Thai Chicken-noodles were gummy with no flavor. Full disclosure-I get little to no heat on my pad thai but there's usually really good flavor instead of heat and sturdier noodles. No color or sauce to the dish, which I've never seen before with Pad Thai. Spring rolls were overcooked unfortunately. It was a carryout & the person who helped me was very pleasant. I just wish the food had been as good as she was.
Really great Thai restaurant. Ordered the Pad Thai original, level 5/6 spice. Perfect amount of burn. This is one of the greatest pad Thai’s around.
This place has delicious food. This was the first time I've eaten Thai food, but my date loves this place. The server was so nice and answered all my questions and helped me decide what I was going to order. I'm a picky eater, and she said we can make that dish without the stuff in it that you don't want. Fantastic food, service, and a charming dining room! Highly recommend.
Our experience was absolutely wonderful our food was delicious the atmosphere was great and service was impeccable highy recommend crispy duck.A+
Green curry was amazing just spicy enough to make my lips tingle. Spring rolls were hot and delicious. I will always choose Thai House for my Thai from a cravings when I’m in the LKN area.
I ordered from here on Postmates. I got a soup and a curry- both were the best I’ve ever had! THIS WILL BE my spot to order form when I get a Thai craving- such amazing flavor, not watered down, good portions of meat. I was stuffed and had some left over for the next day.
Good food, perfect portions and friendly service.
Always good..
We love Thai house. Everything on the menu is authentic and delicious.
We enjoyed the food so much here that we brought our son (who loves Thai cu8sine) to eat at Thai House for his birthday. He really enjoyed the meal. Recommended.
⚠️!WARNING!⚠️: DO NOT EAT HERE!
We have been going to this location for take out every now and then and yesterday will be our FINAL time ordering from here.
There was a large shard of GLASS in our Pineapple Fried Rice. We didn't notice it last night, as this dish was ordered as a lunch meal for the next day (today, 6/28/23), so it was packaged in tupperware, and only saw it once we started eating from it. About HALFWAY into the meal did we happen to just look a little closer, just for no real reason, sometimes you look at things to look at them. Thank goodness we did!
It was a shard of what I am assuming was a drinking glass. It was roughly the size of a quarter. We are now extremely concerned as to if we consumed micro-shards of broken glass that wouldn't be noticeable unless they start causing pain/injury. So that's now something I will be monitoring closely.
Again, be WARNED! As someone who has worked in food/drink service before, this sort of mistake does NOT happen without some SERIOUS ISSUES and GROSS NEGLIGENCE in Kitchen Staff and Management.
If glass breaks near food, that food is supposed to be thrown away! Not SERVED TO PEOPLE! The cost of remaking a pot of rice is much cheaper than a fine from the Health Department or a Lawsuit, I would imagine!
I will be submitting a complaint to the Health Department at my earliest convenience and I hope this will come down on the owner hard. This isn't a simple mistake. This is DANGEROUS and EASILY PREVENTABLE!
Great Thai place with awesome staff and great dishes. Don't pass this one up for lunch or dinner .
Everything I’ve had so far is delicious! The Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup, and Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. Looking forward to trying more.
Great food and service!
Food was great! I had papaya salad and other dishes that tasted authentic. And the waitress is attentive and nice. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I will definitely go back there again when I'm in the area.
When any Asian restaurant can't cook a simple dish such as fried rice. They're off my "To Go List"
Recommended if you have a taste for Thai food?
Delicious food, beautiful interior, friendly service. Highly recommended!
Always wonderful and incredibly flavorful. I’ll add pics next time I’m there. I promise. I enjoy it so much I always forget pictures! Nothing about this place feels mass produced. Always an authentic experience.
I have been to this place for dinner on a regular basis. However, the prices have gone up quite a bit and the quantity is reduced substantially. Small portions for dinner at high prices. The quality of food has also gone down. Really disappointed!!
Amazing food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Pad Thai was awesome!!
Thai restaurants have a certain smell that hits you right when you walk in. You know the smell. It's a mixture of basil, chilies, fish sauce, and lemon grass. And if you smell that smell, you know it's legit. Thai House has that smell.
So far, I haven't had much luck with Thai restaurants in the Charlotte area but Thai House pleasantly surprised me. It's nicely decorated inside with ornate woodworking and has an expansive menu and a very kind and gracious staff. The Masaman Curry was delicious and had an unexpected sweetness to it and, for once, wasn't an overwhelming portion like everywhere else.
While my fiancé and I aren't around the Lake Norman area often, we'd highly recommend.
Great food!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. As someone who frequently seeks out authentic Thai cuisine, I can confidently say that this restaurant met my expectations.
The pad thai was especially noteworthy - perfectly prepared and served in a generous portion that lasted me throughout the weekend. The knock out rolls were also delicious, and the peanut plum sauce was a wonderful complement to their flavors. I appreciated that the rolls were thoughtfully wrapped separately, as this allowed them to stay fresh and enjoyable the next day.
While lychee is one of my favorite fruits, the pairing with the sticky rice and coconut milk was an acquired taste. In the future, I would recommend trying the sticky rice with thai custard or mango for a better flavor combination.
Overall, my experience at this restaurant was exceptional. I have already decided that it will be my go-to spot every time I return to the area.
Love the pad see ew and chicken pad thai. One of our favorite spots. I get my pad see ew without the broccoli and level 3 spicy, perfect everytime.
Had Pad Thai and Kai Cashew take out recently. Both meals were excellent tasting, cooked right, with generous quantities for the price.
Nice ambiance and good food.
This place has awesome authentic tasting Thai food! Coming from NY I never thought I would find a good place for Thai and this placed really exceeded my expectations. My only complaint would be the portion sizes for dinner could be a little more. Also on the pricey side too more than I expected but for a good tasting dinner it’s worth it.
Wonderful restaurant!!!
We stumbled on the Thai House and were thrilled with the ambiance, service and food. This is not a "hole in the wall" restaurant. It is beautifully ornamented with traditional wood carvings. The sauces are very prepared and the food is fresh and delicious. As lovers of Thai food we highly recommend the Thai House.
The whole fried fish was awesome, crispy outside & soft tender inside. My husband loved his yellow curry.
Place is nice. Went inside to order pad see ew, pretty basic dish for take out. Took it out to the car and it looked amazing. Nothing to eat it with in the bag but fortunately I had a fork in my car. Odd smell upon opening the container, but wasn’t terrible. First bite discovered the noodles were just way too mushy, but I powered through. Had one bite that was refrigerator cold (think it was broccoli). I hadn’t even left the place five minutes prior, so it’s not like it sat on a long car ride home. I order this dish at every Thai place when I go to one and this was by far the worst for all the reasons listed above. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but it would be hard to return here.
Really good depending on the dish. Duck parang was amazing! Kai Cashew was sweet/sour and not as enjoyable. If you worry about cold I’m winter, don’t side door side.
Amazing! Have been here at least a dozen times now and wish I come a lot more but is a bit expensive unfortunately :’)
Were addicted to the tom kha soup and pad kee mow!
Very nice and great staff too.
I really enjoy the pleasant and chill atmosphere, never experienced it being loud or crazy in there so if you have any sensory issues it might be a good for you too
Good service and the food tastes great
The Thai house team has plenty of take away traffic. They seem to know their regular customers and have great conversations that seem to continue from the last visit. The food is great.
Place is way too slow to ever want to go back. Try other places and let this be the absolute last choice.
Pineapple fried rice is great here
I ordered my food told them exactly what I Needed because I'm allergic to peanuts so when my food comes out guess what's on peanuts. I make sure I go over it with my waiter several times all I wanted was chicken and pineapple. And it did not even taste like pinang curry.
Shells left on shrimp in my fried rice…. I have NEVER received fried rice with shrimp shells… I paid $25 for the smallest portion of chicken and shrimp fried rice…. Did I mention the shrimp still had the shell on it?
Not just one piece of shrimp all of the shrimp had shells on them… I really wish I would have read the reviews. I hope I don’t get sick
Don't do it........found a roach in my pad thai
The staff is pleasant and the food is good! Their website on the other hand is horrible and needs much improvement! I suggest calling them to order anything because through one ordering service, the prices are higher and through their website, it will delete your order numerous times and is extremely frustrating! I had more food that I needed to order but I gave up!
Ordered delivery and the Basil Chicken was so-so but I have NEVER seen rice wrapped in Plastic Wrap EVER!! IT was all rubber and we couldn't eat it. This was our FIRST & LAST I mean I had to get scissors to cut the wrap off my rice and then had to throw the rice away!!! And all ingor from UBER was $10 credit when my AWFUL MEAL WAS $60!!
Yes this was not Uber Eats fault but the food was COLD ALSO! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!
The location is easy in easy out. The store front is dated and appeared clean. Our server (older male) polite and attentive. He appeared to be responsible for the entire front of the restaurant. Good
Nice clean. Place
This used to be our go to Thai restaurant but I just got our order and not only was it wrong but the portions are significantly smaller than they used to be with the prices being the same. I realize COVID has made it difficult for many businesses but I can't be expected to pay $60 for food when it's less than a handful of noodles. I doubt we'll be returning for the future.
Friendly staff. Very well cooked and flavored dishes. I go here pretty regularly.
Service is top notch..loved the soup for a starter.. We had Panang and Pad See Ew which were fresh and delicious!! Do yourself a favor and visit .
So amazing. Get the Panang Curry. It will change your life. You be exalted into Thai heaven.
The owners are very friendly too.
Worst Thai I have ever attempted to eat. Honestly it’s shocking this place is still in business. Luckily I had a frozen pizza in the house has back up.
Compared to other Thai places in the area overpriced and the taste is below average will not be ordering again.
Food is ok, portions are small for those prices.
One of the best tasty spring rolls I have had. Main dish was shrimp fried rice, which was great tasting, but did not like the chunks of tomato it contained
I’ve ordered Pad Thai many times from here and it’s always been decent. But this evening our order was absolutely AWFUL. It literally tasted like catchup. What a waste of $60.
I had a green curry and it was really great. Good potion for lunch. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and good atmosphere. I love Thai food and I recommend this restaurant if people love Thai food.
Always good.
Amazing Rangoon’s and sticky rice
After a slight hiccup with an order being taken by another patron the restaurant went above and beyond to fix the problem immediately. A+
Yellow curry is so so good.
Took 2 hours to deliver food
Our food was good I had spring rolls and wings. The spring rolls where amazing some of the best I’ve had. The wings where not so good not a lot of meat. My parents got traditional Thai food my step dad loved it but my moms muscles where too chewy. The service was amazing the guy Larry has the best service nice funny and makes sure the customer always have a good experience. But 8/10 would recommend.
Straight forward, quality food served in a friendly environment. Quaint inside, but well maintained
Great Pad Thai. Reasonable pricing and great service
Great flavor, never a disappointment, plenty of food for the money, authentic. Thai Curry vegetable rice is fabulous
Great place for vegans, vegetarians and the likes
Flavor of food awesome
Best Pad Thai around and they will adjust the heat to your personal liking!
Always on point
Slowest experience ever. Took 50 minutes past what was originally told, with NO CUSTOMERS in the store. Was told my order would be ready 3 times and never was. Ended up canceling the order. Would give no stars if possible. Horrible experience
Really like the food
Great thai food
Bit pricey but worth it. Of course it was a dinner instead of lunch. Friendly owners. Nice atmosphere. Great food with generous portions.
Honestly if I could not give this restaurant a star I wouldn't. I called my food in and was told on the phone that it would take about 35 minutes. When I got to the restaurant 40 minutes after the phone call, my food still wasn't ready, and I sat there for another almost 40 minutes waiting on it to be done. I had to ask constantly about my order because I wasn't being acknowledged other than when it came time to pay which was when I first got there. Had I known I would wait another almost 40 minutes for my food I would have canceled the order and not paid for it at all. They weren't even that busy. Then once I sat down to eat my food once I reached home I was very disappointed in the taste of the pad Thai. Some of their other dishes may be good to some people, but their pad Thai is definitely not something I would recommend. Thanks
Very good, authentic taste and genuine, friendly Thai service. Looking forward to going back!
Spotty service, great food
el peor lugar en el que he estado...
Great food, really good flavors!
Awsome staff.
Thank you.
Great service wonderful authentic Thai 👏
The food is amazing, loved the pad Thai!!!
We went here last week, an hour before their closing time. (We didn't read the hours because it was around lunchtime, so we didn't think to. But the whole time there, we never felt rushed. ) They give you a free soup to start. I've never had Thai food before and it was wonderful! Their spring rolls could be bigger, not going to lie, but they were delicious! Prices were fair and the staff were so sweet! If you're in the area and want attentive service, give them a go!
Food was good, but they confused our order.
Had the fresh rolls with shrimp the chicken red curry. Food was unbelievable. Super fresh, wonderful service. So glad to get out and enjoy this place. FANTASTIC!
I love their chicken pad thai! I have a gluten allergy and they are able to accommodate that. Thank you!
Worst Thai ever. Maybe 2 ounces of seafood in entree. Very salty. Small portions. Once and done. Don’t waste your time or money. Awful
Had a bad first experience with my online order this past weekend. Had ordered their Massaman chicken curry. Looks like the cook poured the entire salt bottle into the curry to make it next to impossible to even take another bite of it.
This place is overpriced and not very traditional Thai food! Their shrimp roll made with the rice paper crepe was ANYTHING but good! 1 little shrimp on the 5 inch roll and regular lettuce used in it too! The "Pad Thai" was supposed to be done medium spicy, it was loaded with crushed red pepper, was dry, and filled with bean sprouts and hardly enough noodles and peanut sauce, also lacked sufficient amount of chicken, very disappointed! Plus too expensive for portion size!!
Awesome food good atmosphere and friendly staff and you don't wait very long for your food
I ordered a soup and an iced tea tonight and was charged nearly $12!!!😳 for soup & tea - $12😡
My tai iced tea was un-drinkable due to too much syrup/sweetness, (and I like it sweet, but that was nothing but syrup).
And my soup was a pint they charged me $7 for!!😱 $7 for a cup of soup because no one said it was an upcharge when I asked for seafood as my choice of protein.
I LOATHE being nickled for extras, especially with no warning!
The soup was good, but nothing great.
Won't be back. Upcharges without mention = lose my business.
I go to Thai house regularly. Food tastes good.
After moving back from Thailand, glad to have some food that can remind me of Thailand. All the curry is really good!
We have eaten here a few times and the food is okay. Last time we were there we ordered the shrimp Tum Yum hotpot and it was like $15. When they brought it, my husband put the serving spoon in it to move it around so everything would get heated through and noticed that for that $15 dish, there was only like 5 shrimp in it and they weren't even big shrimp. They were small shrimps. He told the waiter for a $15 dish there should be more shrimp than 5. The waiter took the dish back to the kitchen and came back a little later and told us there was 6 shrimp in there and they added 2 more shrimp in there so now there was 8 shrimp. Don't even want to think about how they were able to count that there was 6 shrimp in the soup. When we went to pay, we found out they charged us an extra 50 cents for those 2 little shrimp they added. All I can say is we have never gone there to eat again. I guess I should be thankful they didn't charge me for the salt and pepper I used.
Authentic Thai food in town ..hard to find great food and good service.
Thai house restaurant is the one in this area.!!!
I had the tofu pad Thai. It was so sour I could barely eat it. And the communication was so poor that it took me five minutes to get a fork so I could eat it. I asked 5 times for a fork and they kept making me wait while they went on to another customer.
By far the worst Thai food we’ve had. Would not recommend. We ordered online and it was expensive for Thai food but we thought we’d give it a try.
Well... the pad Thai, we’re not convinced it wasn’t just noodles, ketchup, and a dash of cayenne pepper. Since it literally tasted and looked like ketchup and noodles.
The pad see ewe was either burned or cooked in a pan that had something burned in it. Since it had an overpowering burned/Smokey flavor to it.
The beef and broccoli, which when you order you have to pay an extra $2 for the beef otherwise I guess you just get broccoli? But it also had bell peppers, so it tasted like fajitas and not beef and broccoli.
The pot stickers were absolutely not pot stickers and some sort of spinach wonton. They were made with wonton wrappers, a drop of spinach/cream cheese, and folded into a flat triangle. Not terrible but not a potsticker/dumpling.
The only good dish was the panang (curry). That is after the bell peppers were removed.
Almost everything we ordered had an excessive amount of bell peppers in it so it was like a Tex mex Thai food. Very disappointing and very expensive. When ordering its normal Thai prices but you have to add the meat/protein adding a couple more dollars to each dish making them all overpriced compared to typical Thai restaurants.
Again, Would not recommend. Made the mistake of adding a tip to the online order, lesson learned there too.
