I would recommend the pho, crispy basil duck, beef Panang curry, Pad Thai, drunken noodles, and many other dishes! All the food is exceptional and fresh, I haven’t gotten a dish here that I haven’t enjoyed. They offer mild and spicy options too. Definitely one of the best local food spots here in Asheboro.

However everyone was really cool and welcoming. Both servers Male and Female were really nice, checked in on me a bunch of times through the meal and even let me get the spice on the side to add on my own. The food was really good and fresh and didn't feel greasy or make me feel heavy which I very much appreciated. Will definitely be back. Just moved to Asheboro and have been looking for a good spot to eat.

Staff: Very friendly and accommodating. They didn't harass you at your table to see how things were constantly, but didn't ignore you if you needed anything.

Facility: The restaurant was very clean and tables were washed after each customer had left with disinfectant and wiped down.

Food: Food was prepared very aesthetically pleasing and tasting the same. The Crispy tofu was very crispy, as one might expect, but the body of the tofu didn't have that off putting jello-o like texture. A win in my book. Peanut sauce was nice as well.

Panang Curry was incredibly well prepared. The peanut base of that curry is just amazing, I love it. Couldn't recommend it enough. I have made multiple trips back to try their other curries and they all are exceptional.

We tried going to a Thai place in Asheboro, but they were closed, so my sister found this place that was not too far from the original place we were thinking of going. What an amazing decision that was! We came around lunch time, so they had a special lunch menu with what I assume are smaller portions and lower prices. I got the pad see ew, which was absolutely delicious, and incredibly filling! The pad see ew was simple, but flavorful, and I got it with pork. The other ingredients, carrots, egg, and broccoli went amazingly well with the sauce and protein choice. It came with a spring roll and dipping sauce, too. The spring roll was delicious, and the sauce was as well! We got a sweet tea and it was the best sweet tea I've had in North Carolina! The service was incredible- the place has a relatively small dining area so the server was able to look at the tables with relative ease and kept our drinks filled. The people working were super nice and welcoming! I would highly recommend it here.

Our school recently used Simply Asian to cater our International Dine & Learn event for students and parents. Ms. Pheng was extremely accomodating, even when we had to reschedule the event. We had over a hundred people and were able to feed them for less than $10 per person and even had some leftovers. The amount of food for the cost was well worth it.

They even delivered the catering order to us in Greensboro all the way from Asheboro for an extremely reasonable fee. The food was delicious and the customer service was unmatched. I would highly recommend them if you have an event or gathering that you would like to cater.

This was our second time using them and we will definitely be using them again for our upcoming events.

Traveling so I ordered takeout from this small restaurant with a huge menu. Chicken and vegetables was terrific. Fresh vegetables in a light broth. No heavy sauce. Fluffy Jasmine rice. Ready in 10 minutes. ✨

Favorite place for takeout in asheboro. They got me hooked on their pho. I eat from here almost weekly and I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried.

Pho is gross! Barely any chicken, Bean sprouts taste weird not enough basil leaves, garlic in pho? Wth! Limes were fermented. . Left my whole bowl of pho on the table Disgusting never ever again! They are VERY careful and knowledgeable about about what has gluten in it. Very safe place to eat for those with celiac's or gluten intolerance, and the food was delicious! Love their pad Thai and panang curry. The normal dipping sauce for Bangkok rolls has gluten, but they made a special sauce just for folks like me, really appreciate that!

Came here tonight for dinner, great restaurant. Had Bangkok rolls and beef pho, waiter was friendly and helpful with explaining the different table spices and sauces. Will definitely come back!

I really hate to write this. This was our absolute favorite yrestaurant. The flavors were close to perfection, I hate to see that this is no longer threat.e case and it makes me very sad. Being Asian myself, I lovereat these flavors. I have learned that I have to make Great Asian food myself if I want to have it close to home. I am never going back to this restaurant and I am really bummed out about it. The fish was supposed to crispy, you are supposed to be able to taste the shrimp in the spring rolls and you can't. Farewell old favorite.

Small sitting area (not covid friendly) regular asian styl takeout menu.....food wasn't so great....and was VERY expensive. Save 50 bucks and go to your favorite takeout place. 2 people, 55 dollars...that's not ok for takeout quality food...and not the good Chinese food. Watered down, overcooked noodles, very upset with the prices for what you get.

I wanted to have sushi but they do not serve it anymore so they should remove it from the front of the restaurant. The appetizers were delicious and the attention was great. The main course Imo was lacking salt. If you like spicy food this restaurant is a good option. I think they could simplify the menu. Too many options so when you read it seems the same to me as a customer because of the ingredients (I know the preparation and processes are different).

Spring rolls are a favorite.

This is the best spot in Asheboro to enjoy delicious, authentic Thai cuisine. There is a full menu of appetizers, entrees, and soups to choose from, with a number of vegetarian options available, too. Their drink menu has recently expanded, featuring multiple boba tea delights, while their classic Thai Iced Tea is always a tasty addition to any meal. The parking lot has many spaces, including a few that are close to the door, though the area is sometimes more crowded at night, on the weekends.

Great food and great service!! Only complaint is the random price hikes (2 egg rolls for $6?). I love their Chinese style sweet and sour chicken and their spring rolls!

They have the best egg drop soup that I've ever had. The soup has a thicker consistency and not watered down like a lot of egg drop soups.
I had roasted chili paste with chicken. It came with a spring roll, rice and egg drop soup.
It was enough for over two meals for me and it reheated well. About two weeks ago was the last time that I ate there. They were not allowing indoor seating due to Covid. You can call your order in or walk up to the door to place your order. The wait staff was very pleasant and was happy to assist with my meal order.
I do want to point out they do have a small dining area so when they start in door dining again, just keep that in mind if you decide to give this place a try.

Food is always delicious and fresh. Definitely one of the best food places in Asheboro. Haven't tried anything yet that disappoints, nor have I ever had an unpleasant experience with the staff. Would highly recommend.

Simply Asian is my go-to Thai place when I’m not near to Greensboro. All of the food here is good. I particularly love their curry, any of them! And you HAVE to get the Bangkok rolls, order with light colored thicker peanut sauce (yes, you have to specify) and they’re amazing. The staff is also super friendly and always accommodating.

Food is good but a bit overpriced

Very good, I’ve been here 5-6 times and it’s been excellent each time. But consider I always get the same thing, Red Curry Chicken Hot and Hot & Sour soup, excellent, their Hot & Sour soup is the best I’ve ever had.

can I give it 12 stars? This place is off the charts amazing. I've been all over the world and US and this restaurant in Asheboro is hands now my favorite Chinese or Thai spot I've visited. We go here every Thursday and eat and we've been continuing our support all through the pandemic but ordering out. The food is the best I've ever had and we love it. Cannot recommend them enough. We've had the ginger dish, pho, sweet and sour chicken, bangkok rolls, egg drop soup, drunken noodles, crispy basil fish, and more and have yet to have a bad dish. We love the staff and owners too.

First time trying this place. We ordered the number 11 coconut soup and the red curry. Both were excellent but that coconut soup is one of the best soups, if not the best soup I have ever had! Bravo! Will be going back soon for more! My wife and I eat Thai food wherever we go, UT, TX, AZ. All in all we were not disappointed.

Food is either so salty you need a gallon of water to wash it down, or so freezer burnt it's not edible. Went here twice, once last week and once tonight. Enjoyed our meals last week (crab wontons, Pho and Chinese sweet and sour chicken). This week we decided to try the pricier options with duck along with crab wontons as we thought they were pretty good last week. Sadly, we were very disappointed. The wontons this week were so salty we could not eat them even covered in sauce. The duck dish had clearly been frozen as you could taste the underlying freezer burn taste. We took the food back and the service was just as disappointing. They stated they had a no refund policy (ok...fine...) but also refused to replace it, remake it, or offer a substitute. Finally we were given "chicken and rice" when we noticed there was a board up offering free fried bananas with a purchase over 50. Having spent over that, we wondered why we hadn't been offered that. Reluctantly, and since they offered nothing in return for the poor product they gave us, we finally walked away with bananas and chicken and rice...and our original food which they almost were unwilling to give us back . Food varies way too much without recourse for requesting a replacement...I will not be returning.

Always excellent food, noodles are great, and y’all have the best spring rolls in town! The fried cheesecake is very good as well!
