Delicious and authentic Thai food paired with an immersive atmosphere that will transport you to the heart of Thailand.
First time coming here by a coworker's recommendation. Love the food, friendly staff and nice decor. Got there around lunch time and got seated right away. Food came out quick. Love the tom yum Kong soup, very rich in flavors. The mango sticky rice is also so good. Sampler of the appetizers was a perfect choice - you get to try in a deal. Must try this place if you are in the hood and love Thai cuisine, will definitely come back to try the other stuff.
My second time to dine here. Last time I came for dinner which I was very happy with the lamb chops...
Today we came to try the lunch special.
I chose duck meat with curry... Which is just a little spicy and rich in favor. Meat was tender. And the side salad included in the special was fresh leafy, onion, cucumber, shredded carrots, cherry tomato, two pieces tofu. Huge potion 😙
I paid $18 for that.
My son ordered pad Thai and we shared the papaya salad which was fresh too.
This restaurant is small but not too crowded today at 2pm for late lunch ☺️
Please note that you do have to pay extra 3% if use credit card to pay
Bangkok Ave is top-notch service, and the atmosphere is impeccable. The prices are very reasonable, drinks too. The duck was excellent, but the massaman was ok. There are plenty of seafood, chicken, and pork options. Bathrooms were clean and nongendered. The plating and presentation are really nice here to enjoy family style. Would recommend it if, in the area.
Walked in and seated right away on a Sunday around 5:30pm. The host was gracious and welcoming. Menus and water right away. The four of us ordered the fried tofu, Mock fish with baby bokchoy, Musamum curry with beef and roti, Pad thai and the fried pork hock.
Everything was delicious. The sauces that came with the pork shoulder was beyond (wanting to buy some to bring home). Pad thai was good maybe a tad sweet for my taste. The Mock fish is quite fishy (unexpectedly) but textured like salmon...very interesting. The fried tofu was delish with the sauce. I like the texture of it
Overall we enjoyed the meal.
Good experience
everything is so good! u need to try especially mango ice cream and sticky rice!!
Never dined in but always get takeout from this place. Their Pad Sea Ew is absolutely delicious. The only thing is that their portions are pretty small for the price. Overall the food is good

Great atmosphere, Great food and Service

Great food and service. Very genuine taste in everything we ordered.
Spent 40 dollars on ONE dish and it didn’t come with rice!!! Are you telling curry doesn’t come with rice now… GTFO
Everything was delicious and the foods presentation complimented the atmosphere
I absolutely love this place!
You know the food is made with love because it’s so good. Always satisfied!!
This shit was dope not gonna lie. Food has me ready to go to sleep, and it's only 2:37.
The food tasted great and the service was excellent. All employees welcome and serve food quickly. And the atmosphere in the store is very good. I will definitely come back here again.
The tum yum soup we ordered was so bad the shrimp were not fresh and it was full of capsicum only
Place has nice ambience and excellent staff.
The food is A1+++ fried mango fish. Lamb chops. Really can’t go wrong with any dish.
Hajun and I had a blast! Amazing food and drinks
Came here September 1st! We had just moved to the area and hadn't eaten all day and this place was nice enough to take us even though they were closing in 20 minutes! Sorry we came so late and thanks for taking us! The food was SO good and the cocktails were also great! We will definitely return! Can't stop thinking about the pineapple fried rice!

Overall we enjoyed the meal.
Most authentic thai in NY!! Best food, flavors, and service. Tar and Jenny go above and beyond. This is a family favorite. Definitely be careful with spice levels as it is authentic thai level of spicy. We always over order but that’s because everything is sooooo yummy here!
We take out from this place. Cozy and quaint. Would love to have the time to dine-in. Always order their mussaman curry and puffs.
Taste was pretty bad. Been to a lot of better places in the area. Service was rude. Overall would not come back.
💯 customer service!! Great chef!! Excellent food!! I give this restaurant a 5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed having lunch here with my friends.
Food was great, plated beautifully and tasted delicious. My favorite is the soft shell crab mango salad.
Love the atmosphere, top notch service, and good drinks.
Definitely will go again and recommend it to anyone who likes Thai food.
Great food. Awesome space.
They overcharge me. Luckily, I checked.
Mistake? Maybe?
I placed a catering order 2 days ahead of time for 12PM. I was notified by ezcater on the day of delivery (at 12:10 PM) that the restaurant could not deliver my order.
The food tastes good but the portion is kind of cheap. When you order something with shrimp only 3 shrimp you will get.
I've been here a couple of times, and the food has been tasty every time! The only time that not all was as good was the only time I ordered delivery, so I would recommend dining in.
Bangkok Avenue is a gem for Thai cuisine enthusiasts. The highlight of my meal was the Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the combination of tender chicken and juicy shrimp made each bite delightful.
Among the appetizers, the curry puffs stood out. These tiny pastries are packed with rich, savory flavors that are simply irresistible. The chicken satay is another must-try, with well-seasoned, succulent chicken that leaves a lasting impression.
The drinks at Bangkok Avenue complement the food wonderfully, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. Whether you're a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking for a great meal, Bangkok Avenue is definitely worth a visit. During the week is definitely more clam and lots of seats available vs the weekend
I would say that the food was alright but the mango sticky rice was not fitted for my liking but I think for others it might be better. The service was very good, the waitress and waiter were very nice. The food came pretty quick. The atmosphere here is very nice, it felt cozy and the decor was very pretty. I recommend going here if you want to try Thai food.
Hands down the best Lamb Chops I’ve had in NY… and that’s saying a lot because I order them everywhere 🤯
I took my mom to her first Thai meal last night and even though she’s somewhat of a picky eater, she was so pleasantly surprised with how much she liked EVERYTHING!
Everything we ordered had so much flavor and was perfectly cooked. It really reminded me of being in Thailand, the flavors here are definitely more authentic than fusion style. So glad I got to try it, it’s definitely the perfect choice if you don’t want to drive all the way into Manhattan for a great meal.
Here’s what we ate:
Soft Shell Crab Mango Salad (crab was seasoned SO well and mango salad had a bit a spicy quick which I loved 🥰)
Chicken Satay ( my moms favorite appetizer, particularly good bc the skewers were juicy and not overcooked)
Pad Thai with Chicken (I love that it was served in an egg net! Something about this presentation makes it taste better haha. One of my favorite Pad Thais for sure.)
Lamb Chop Zaab ( THE BEST! Tamarind sauce on the perfectly spiced lamb chops was chefs kiss 💋)
For Dessert:
Fried Banana with Homemade Coconut Ice Cream ( my mom ate 90% of this while I was filming something and then asked me if I was going to eat the last piece 🤣)
We both ordered mocktails to drink but they had some really decorative cocktails on the menu!
Pina Colada
Mango Mocktail
100000% recommend. My mom even wanted me to leave the leftovers with her 🤣
This charming restaurant will transports you straight to Thailand with its beautiful decor and cozy ambiance ✨
The seating area is designed to look like a boat, with stunning wall art of a river behind it, making you feel like you’re dining on water. The creative and fun drinks are just the beginning of an unforgettable dining experience.
We were blown away by the amazing flavors of the Tom Yum Ramen Nam Khom and the Spicy Herbal Fish. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness! 🤤🔥 The Crab Roll appetizer was packed with so much crab, it was simply divine. And for dessert lovers, don’t miss out on the Fried Banana – it’s the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal.
The warm and welcoming hospitality made our visit even more special. We can’t wait to go back

I love the vibes- didn’t know they had a side outdoor dining area. It’s so nice and I love their drunken noodles from the last time I came.
I have been to Bangkok so many times for 8-10 years, I am almost a local. This restaurant definitely serves authentic thai food with beautiful presentation. I knew I got the right place once I asked for the Thai Boat Noodle condiments (the thai chilli powder, vinegar, etc). I came here for lunch alone, ordered the soup and beef boat noodle. Great service, great food. Happy belly.
Went to tye restaurant on mother's day. Very busy and I know why. The food was absolutely amazing. Tasty and pretty representations. I got guitar ad my server. She is very nice, friendly and fast service even tho it was busy night but she did an amazing job. We definitely will be back again. Recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great authentic Thai cuisine! Normally I go to Elmhurst/ Woodside area for Thai but this place is a pleasant surprise in this area. The seafood is fresh and they got the texture just right. Cocktails are better than expected as well.
The best Thai in NY, no doubt.
got the pad thai and pad see eew with chicken and it was amazing! rich with flavor and one of the best thai meals i’ve had in a while, would definitely go back!
this spot is tucked away in little neck, queens and worth the journey. you get the most authentic thai food here and the interior makes you feel like you’ve been transported elsewhere! everything was delicious. you must get the steamed fish! it’s a whole fish and it stays warm a bit longer cause it comes out over a fire. the short rib panang curry was so good. the meat came right off the bone. to end the meal, you MUST get the ice cream with sticky rice. the combo works so well and it’s one of the best sticky rice I’ve had.
Amazing food, drinks, and people.
The waitresses were friendly and the service was quick. The interior is warm and welcoming, with its design encompassing a traditional Thai style that's reminiscent of Thailand. The green curry was very creamy and delicious, but unfortunately the duck was overly dry and not juicy or tender at it. The duck did have a crispy exterior, but it felt like chewing a piece of jerky at times. You can see how tough the meat looks from the picture. It is a bit pricey for its small portion as well, coming to about 20 dollars for a lunch special after tax. The miso soup also didn't taste that great, where the mixture of greens really detracted from its enjoyment. Really would love to try their other items for their menu is quite expansive, so maybe I'll write another review if I ever get a chance to go back.
Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
A Thai culinary gem that truly makes you say “WOW” with every dish! From the moment you step through the doors, you’re transported to the bustling streets of Thailand, where bold flavors and authentic dishes await.
With each bite, you’ll experience a symphony of spices, textures, and colors that bring the essence of Thai cuisine to life. From their fragrant pad thai to their rich, creamy tom Yum, Bangkok Avenue delivers a dining experience that’s nothing short of extraordinary.
If you’re seeking an unforgettable meal that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit, look no further than Bangkok Avenue. Prepare to be amazed by the culinary magic of this restaurant that truly makes you say “wow” with every dish.
Love this place.. best Thai food in NYC..
No need to ask
Really nice and attentive servers, great food as well. Good vibes.

The service is great, the staff is nice, however the food feels authentic. It was enjoyable..
The space is very clean and the service is very kind and well delivered.
The Food is delicious but the service is kind of lacking!Smile more girls
Great spacious atmosphere. They have an upstairs as well. The chicken satay is yummy.
My second visit here. They have a charming upstairs area, and their appetizer sampler is excellent.
This restaurant is excellent. I adore the cuisine.
Up before this establishment, there was no real Thai restaurant in this area. Though I've eaten takeout a lot and it was always great, I wanted to taste it in person for lunch with a few friends. Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice were our orders. For the happy hour drink, which ran from 11.30 am until 5 pm. We placed four or five drink orders. Each meal was really tasty and well prepared. My companions had never been here before, and they were taken aback by the food's flavor and genuineness.
The meal is excellent. Come here often for Thai cuisine. There is nothing else like it. I really like the pad see ew.
Very tasty, fresh, and inventive Thai cuisine served in a contemporary setting with attentive, kind service. Will definitely return, really loved it. These cocktails are also enjoyable.
Bangkok Avenue is a very charming spot to go out to dinner with friends on a Friday! I've been here a few times previously, and each time has gone well. The ambience is fantastic and the cuisine is wonderful. A must-take
We love Bangkok Avenue in Queens! Authentic food esp the whole fish orders! Great staff, parking wasn’t too bad, and altheir drinks are delicious too! I ordered a ginger drink that really was delicious!
My go to
- chicken wings
- Tom yum ramen
- curry crab
- whole fish
- pad Thai
- crab appetizer
- crab omelette
Excellent service, delicious dishes!
such a wonderful dinner. The personnel was really attentive and kind. Taking into account my preferences, they provided excellent choices.
It was really wonderful cuisine! It had the ideal balance of flavors when I had the pad Thai. Additionally, the servings were rather large. I will most certainly return to sample more of their menu items.
We picked up take- out
And came home with:
Green Curry with Vermicelli & chicken superb!
Massamun Curry with Roti & tofu excellent!
Sautéed String Bean & Eggplant (V) great!
Bamee Moo Dang Moo Krob (prepared well, but not going to be a favorite).
We'll be back!
Great Thai food , one of my favorite places
I am a returned customer, I love Bangkok Ave and as well as the food there. Today I was there for dinner, the service they provided was so disappointed. Didn’t ask me how spicy I want for the green curry. I paid for the green curry which I am not able to eat cause too spicy which is fine. This will be the last time I am eating here in Bangkok Ave and I will share this information with my friends as well to have them double check how spicy the food will be during ordering.
Bangkok Ave restaurant have really good food. Especially the fish I eat tonight. I will recommend my friend come to eat
這是我吃過最好的泰國料理,豐味獨特,開胃,不滯,芳香,讓人回味無窮,地方雅致,裝飾溫馨⋯
Good food
Authentic and a must try Thai place. I ordered Red Curry and was blown away with the flavors. This may be the 10th Thai restaurant in my life and I love it. Best among the 10.
Food was cooked to perfection and service was great
Dining here is a delightful experience because of the excellent service and wide cuisine that suits all tastes.
The quality of the cuisine never fails to impress me. Fresh ingredients and real flavours are used in this recipe. Also, the personnel is really helpful and kind.
The meal is really tasty and the service is excellent. I heartily endorse the Massaman Curry and Pad Thai.
The curry with green coconut milk is wonderful; the right amount of spice.
Always prompt and courteous service is provided. The waiters are well knowledgeable about the cuisine.
Dessert is great, ordered pork beef chicken crab. Soft Crab is the best!
环厃厈爞狂,服务员厈惭情,磟牅做的厈新粜,下次一定还来。
The cuisine is excellent, tastes really authentic, and is reasonably priced. Next time, my family and I will give it a try.
Eating here makes me extremely happy. The setting is excellent, and the staff is really helpful. Next time, I'll be back.
The fried calamari is the best I've ever tasted! Hats off to the chef. I really enjoyed the rest of the meal as well. Great service and atmosphere. It was my first time eating Thai food and I was not disappointed. Thank you.
The depth of flavors for each dish was amazing. We ordered 6 dishes and all of them were awesome. The Massamun Curry and Tom Yum were standouts.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Queens, impressive and varied menu, amazing service every visit. Curry puffs and hor jor are great starters, always get the green curry with seafood over vermicelli noodles. Usual Thai fare like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are delicious. Definitely recommend the Thai crab fried rice. They started having weekly specials, the panang braised short rib with curry was decadent.
The hostess Tar always greets us with a warm smile and great recommendations. Food is so good we order from here weekly if we can’t make it out!
Always a pleasure to eat here! Always a warm atmosphere, well decorated, and food is delicious. Tar always takes great care of us. We order delivery often as well.
Amazing food, great service!
Great place. I loved their drunk noodles.
Had the Pad Thai Boran w veggies-very good; included a toping of egg omelet (thin & patterned)
and Pad Sea Ew w tofu
both very good
朋友推荐的餐厅,点了绿咖喱、炸鱿鱼、菠萝炒饭和冰淇淋,非常美味,物有所值!
Love the food. Love the service. Love the environment ! I used to go to the city for good thai food. Now I can finally save my self some time and enjoy authentic good Thai food in my neighborhood. I love the green curry and the steam fish!
We had a great dinner! Service was great and food was delicious! We had the spring rolls, curry potato puffs, drunken noodles, and pad sea ew. I also had 2 lychee martinis which were delicious. What I ordered was not spicy but my daughter's drunken noodles were medium as stated on the menu
The food was very flavorful and delicious. The place was small, clean and very nicely decorated for the holidays.
Will definitely be back!
Food was great, especially the appetizers and desserts! Highly recommend!, Although it is on the pricey side, but worth it overall. Spent 75 per person for total of 2 appetizers, 1 meal, 1 drink and 1 dessert.
Good was delicious and the service was great. Just a bit pricy but other then that it place to try.
Small portions.
This cozy restaurant serves delicious,
unusual Thai food. I had Chu Chee Duck, Curry puffs and Pork Larb.
I enjoyed all of them.
The dishes are amazing. The staffs here are nice and friendly. We ordered the soft shell crab mango salad. It was so delicious .Tom Yum Ramen Nam Khon is a must try dish. The broth is so creamy and it is full of seafood !!!!! And don’t forget to try the home made mango iceceam and sticky rice as a dessert ( I am sure you have room for it !! lol ) We definitely recommend this restaurant to all of you !!!!!!
Each dish was a delightful burst of flavors, impeccably prepared and served.
This restaurant is a gem for anyone seeking authentic Thai cuisine coupled with outstanding service.
First and foremost, the food here is spectacular. We live close to a Michelin rated Thai restaurant but we make the extra 20min drive to Bangkok Avenue. The quality of the food here does not disappoint. We are regulars. We recommend the chicken wings, the pork shoulder, the steamed fish, the crab curry, the duck and all of the fried rice options. Everything on this menu is phenomenal! Not to mention the drinks. Amazing Thai iced tea but even better mixed drinks. The golden butt, lychee martini and lychee sangria always hit the spot. 5 star recommended restaurant!! To top things off, our favorite is the staff. They remember us by name and already know what we'll be ordering. Extremely courteous and kid friendly.
Good food
I've been coming to Bangkok Avenue for years, and I can confidently say it's my absolute favorite Thai restaurant. The combination of exceptional food and top-notch service keeps me coming back time and time again.
The menu offers a delightful array of Thai cuisine that never fails to satisfy. Every dish I've tried has been bursting with flavor and prepared to perfection.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make your dining experience enjoyable.
If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking to try it for the first time, Bangkok Avenue is the place to be.
Great food, big plates! A must try place in the neighborhood!
Authentic atmosphere, rapid service, delicious food. Love everything here especially the Pad Thai shrimp, satay chicken and green curry!
Always can find the right size of table for seating. Foods are tasty and delicious. Great to have the happy hour Cabinet!
Thank you for the great service Bangkok Avenue! It was a special farewell dinner for family members that we havent seen for decade+, and flying out that night. Food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful. Our wait staff, she was very informative and attentive to our ordering and needs. Mango fish was delicious and so was everything else we ordered. The 4 specials on the menu was 👍👍, esp the boiled pork bone dish. Coming back with my friends next time.
Delicious Thai food, cozy ambiance.
Thip, our server was friendly and helpful. Best Thai food in Little Neck!
This place is amazing, Ruby was an amazing host/server and always takes great care of us. Thanks for the great experience always!
environment is very nice. the food is great.
This is our second time at Bangkok avenue and the food has been consistently good. Highly recommend the pad Thai with prawn. The blueberry lemonade is great as well.
Ruby our waiter was great too. Offered an inner seat due to the cold weather when the door opens.
I love this place! I often order for delivery and they are always so fresh and delicious. Honestly one of the best Thai places to get some yummy comfort food during this coming winter season ☺️ I haven’t been physically to the restaurant (although I should!) but I will always keep ordering out from them. Thank you guys!
Ruby was an excellent server
Ruby was great, food came out hot and delicious. I’d recommend and go back.
In search of a go-to Thai Spot & after many attempts - I believe we've found the place.
Atmosphere: The vibes are on point. Beautiful decor, Art, furniture, and seating. The bar is well lit. Comfy chairs & liquors on display. It's very social media friendly. The server / host was very welcoming. It was a Wednesday night and wasn't packed. So, we had our choice of seating.
Drinks: We ordered two thai iced teas - Yummy. Not overly sweet. Nice and cold. There was a Thai Iced Tea Float but unfortunately it wasn't available to try. I'll be going back for this.
There is a vast selection of well know classic Thai dishes and some not so know (at least to me) but they all look delicious.
Appetizers: We ordered the shrimp cake. It was tasty with the plum sauce and on it's own a 5/10 with the sauce 8.5/10
Entrees: I ordered the Beef Stew & my wife got the minced pork fried rice.
Beef Stew with vermicelli noodles was fantastic. It was aromatic, fresh, and visually appealing. The spices reminded me of a dish called Pepper pot. The beef was tender and flavorful. The beef balls were tender and juicy. I loved the pepper infused broth. I would enjoy this on a cold winter day.
Minced Pork Fried Rice: Perfectly seasoned. A nice spicy kick. Pork was nice and not fatty. Well balanced flavors. The runny egg on the rice was *chefs kiss.*
My wife really enjoyed it.
Portions are good. If you're hungry you'll be satisfied.
Parking in this neighborhood is decent but gets busy in the afternoon.
I can't wait to go back & try their Crab Omelette
Ordered take-out in the past and was blown away by the quality of the food, so decided to stop by. Came for a late lunch, so it wasn't busy. Really loved the interior decor and the hardwood tables and chairs. Premises were clean and inviting. Started with the Yum Wun Sen, which normally comes with pork--at least in the other thai restaurants I've tried--but Bangkok uses seafood (scallops, calamari, shrimp). The seafood mixed in with glass noodles, lime, cilantro, and hot peppers makes for the most divine appetizer. Had the green curry with shrimp as the entree, and, Jesus, it was so good, replete with generous portions of shrimp and delicious veggies. Wanted to try the pad see ew, after trying their fantastic pad thai for take-out, and, although it was delicious too, I definitely preferred the pad thai.
The service, of course, was prompt and excellent. Never had to ask for a refill of water and dishes were quickly cleaned after each course.
Love this place. I tend to order in alot but recently the delivery apps have been taking too long. decided to go in person and the food was so good. the drunken noodles are perfectly chewy and the sauce is delicious. the som tum (papaya salad) is one of my favorites! it comes with pork rinds, so i recommend asking them to take it off if you don’t like it. i personally didn’t finish the spring rolls, you can tell that they’re well made and they’re super crispy, but there’s not much filling.
As a Thai person I take note when a restaurant offers authentic flavors and dishes. My expectations were high from the photos in the reviews and Bangkok Avenue did not disappoint. Everything was excellent.
The food was excellent, the service was pretty good, the ambience was good but since we are a party of 6 people, they charged us an automatic 20% gratuity which should be 18%. And in reviewing the bill and receipt, it turned out that the subtotal was $191 and they overcharged me on the 20% gratuity because they added the subtotal 191 and the tax 17 and then charged the 20% gratuity. Already I don't think it's right that we have to be charged mandatory gratuity more than 18% then they overcharged me making it 22% gratuity, unbelievable.
Will be reconsidering if I will return to this place. Maybe better to get takeout.
Food is delicious with lots of flavor. Somewhat pricey and portions are small not really for sharing.
Authentic Thai food. The crab fried rice is delicious. My go-to places are Curry Puffs and Drunken Noodles. The crab omelette was truly delicious! Had Kao Griep Pak Mor and drunken noodles. Both are great.
Great food, clean restaurant, good service!
Always love to eat in this beautiful atmosphere, with good delish foods and its a convenient place to dine in, and great staffs where we make friends with them. Good vibes as we say 🫰🏼🫰🏼
