Airy space offering Southern-style dishes & custom cakes amid intricate Thai decor.
Food here was amazing. I love the fried calamari because it was crunch and fresh. The other dishes were also great. The atmosphere was good, just a bit smelly (maybe the mopping of floors made it smell like that). Other wise the waiters were very friendly. Would def come back again!
Good mellow balanced Thai food. I recommend the roti for its extra buttery flavor. The red curry was spiced and balanced with medium heat and good solid flavor. I also had the chor muang which does require dipping the dumpling in the sauce. The sauce is salty sour and the dough is springy fresh, so together that works.
Good spot, need to try other things to get the full picture.
Gorgeous restaurant with fantastic vegan options! I love this place because they have a dedicated vegan menu. The menu is extensive and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I got the pad see ew and it was delicious! My partner tried the green curry & was pleased as well. We will definitely be making this our go-to Thai spot in Williamsburg!
The inside of the restaurant is really cool! Great ambience and tons of space - it seems like it’d be great for groups!
It was my first time eating here and the food was great with good portion sizes. The servers and staff were very kind and nice to talk to. The interior is very atmospheric with nice designs. They even have little cushions on the seats. I did not expect the bathtub though. Overall, 10/10, I will definitely come here again when I'm in the area.
I love a nice bathroom in a restaurant. Really nice atmosphere. I didn’t really like my dish but that was my fault and should have ordered the green curry. 🍛I recommend going for lunch the price was perfect. I paid $25 with tip as the lunch specials were cheap along with a happy hour beer. 🍺
Delicious. Have to admit I was concerned when I realized they had images on their menu. Always a scary sign. But I was beyond pleasantly surprised how good the food was even with the menu. Full flavor. Not too heavy, not too light. Excellent. The curry puff app was amazing.
Vibes were immaculate. I don’t often give 5 star reviews across the board, but portions are solid, food is flavorful and has texture. The space is gorgeous and even the communal sink area is well-thought. An other-worldly experience to be sure.
Only wish the music selection matched the atmosphere, I would offer recommendations.
Nice lunch spot to go to, vibe was nice, food was good, I enjoyed the Khao kha moo, the meat was very tender and juicy, however the chicken cashew was too sweet for my liking. Drinks were also good. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it’s Brooklyn what can you expect. They have a cute unique sink, which I thought was interesting. Overall, this is a good Thai place I would come back to.
BE AWARE GRADE PENDING FROM HEALTH DEPT!
Ps that should of told us everything we need to know!
Highly dissapointed to say the least made a
reservation well in advance and was placed right next to the kitchen door. Ok fine there’s worse things in life. Service? If your ordering a drink from the bar good luck you would be better off walking around the block a few times before your drink comes and too boot the place wasn’t even busy! Once again we delt with it. Final straw you may ask? Well since we were sat right outside the kitchen my wife noticed kitchen workers just handling food with no gloves and a lot of cross contamination..at that point we had enough and had to leave which ruined our dinner plans..pretty ridiculous you make a reservation and get stuffed into a spot like a walk in..did us a favor safe to say won’t be going back to this dump..grade pending? Should be more like shut down..this is as of 2/25
Amazing food and. It so not over priced.

Very cool interior and yummy food and great servings. Servers were very nice.
Great atmosphere + impeccable food! came on a Saturday early evening for a glass of wine and early dinner - was cozy with great service! Pad kee mao + gyoza are definitely recommended! Xox
Great food at great value!
Delicious. Have to admit I was concerned when I realized they had images on their menu. Always a scary sign. But I was beyond pleasantly surprised how good the food was even with the menu. Full flavor. Not too heavy, not too light. Excellent. The curry puff app was amazing.
Very nice spot to eat in or grab a drink,
loved the vibe in there
Haiwanese Chicken: 9/10, the boiled chicken was off-putting , but the sauce was amazing
Pad Kee Mao: 7/10 , tofu had no flavor, way too small of a portion, noodles were flavorful
Red Curry: 7/10, too sweet like coconut, needs more spice
The food was good, but the Drinks!! 💖💖. I loved the look of the restaurant, the atmosphere was cool clam intimate
I appreciated that there is a vegan section of the menu, but the food was pretty average. The brownie-cookie-Oreo dessert was delicious if you’re into that sort of thing

I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE REGULARLY FOR YEARS. I love this place. The decor and setting is beautiful, the happy hour has food and drinks til freakin' 7pm. The food is delicious. The staff is warm, attentive, and professional. I see bad reviews only from people who are spoiled brats who don't know any better.
I took my sister here for her birthday dinner. The initial atmosphere was nice and food was delicious. However, I’m giving this establishment zero stars as we were made to feel like we’re not welcome. We were rushed through our food, the staff hovered us the entire time. We arrive during happy hour, and when we tried to take the happy hour wings to go, they informed us that it had to be eaten in the establishment or we will be charged the regular price. I told him to just charge us the regular price since we were already full and could eat no more. They gave us a hard time and ended up giving us the happy hour price stating, “we’re doing you a favor since it’s your birthday.” I did not feel the amount of the harassment we received was warranted for $7 wings. Although the restaurant is beautiful and food was super good, I would not recommend and will not be returning.
Amazing all around. Dishes were tasty, and great vibes
Outstanding!!!
Food here was amazing. I love the fried calamari because it was crunch and fresh. The other dishes were also great. The atmosphere was good, just a bit smelly (maybe the mopping of floors made it smell like that). Other wise the waiters were very friendly. Would def come back again!
Why they talking to the delivery driver like that want to see there phone to make sure the confirm the food order that why they are slow they only making money on the weekends that all I will never eat there a gain 😢😢😢😢😢
Great food and excellent service.
טעים ונעים עד מאוד!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this place- not only is the decor and ambiance regal and upscale with high ceilings with wood beams, the attention to small details makes it feel like you’re transported elsewhere- what else can you want in a dining out experience! The food is also on point! Highly recommend!
Won’t be ordering from this place again, took over an hour for a simple one item order.
The curry here is amazing very tasty and flavorful
Food came five minutes before drinks - twenty minutes after ordering - in a mostly empty restaurant. Food was overly sweetened, curry was watery, etc.
Pleasant and quiet environment even on a Friday evening.
Massaman was bland and only had one piece of potato. Disappointing
The dishes here are prepared with so much care and everything is SO delicious. Fabulous service every single time. I can’t even recommend one single dish because everything I’ve tried over the years absolutely slaps. I’ve never left disappointed and I’m fairly certain that you won’t be either. Not sure what the review complaining about not being able to take home happy hour food at that price listed is about, it very clearly states on the menu that happy hour prices are for dine-in customers only.
Great authentic Thai food w beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Check out the panang curry. They also have great lunch specials and a beautiful space that will keep you coming back. Khap khun khap
had the worst experience ever, where i ordered a dish that came deep fried even though it wasn’t on the menu description. i called to see if i could get a refund for the food since it also was totally cold and whoever answered the phone refused to issue a refund, he actually lied about it and said that id have to call uber eats to get the refund (which isn’t true) and he refused to tell me his name when i asked who was helping me. so so bad.
Would definitely not be coming here again. It was my first time coming with a friend to happy hour and I ordered a Laab Salad under their happy hour menu. I only took a few bites because it was too spicy but I was planning on taking it to go only to be told by the waiter that happy hour is dine-in only and that I couldn’t take it to-go even though I actually PAID for it.
I think it’s so wasteful and ridiculous that they would rather toss the food out than let me take it home especially because it’s something I paid for.
Will not be coming again - the food isn’t even that great.
First time here, great food & ambience definitely coming back here again!
The staff is very friendly and fast. Unfortunately the food is no good. I ordered a chicken pad see ew some how tasted burnt. I’m not even sure how that’s possible.
Went here on a date and was let down by the food quality. The atmosphere was awesome and service was good, but the food was atrocious. I tend to try out the pad thai at every thai restaurant I go to and this was the worst meal of pad thai I ever had. It was the first time I didn't finish my meal dining in and didn't bother taking a to-go tray.
Great atmosphere. Food is average and needed a bit more flavor. Service is great! Don’t think I will be back but it was worth a try!
It was okay. Not the best Thai food I’ve had in the city but it gets the craving done. The music is very random and it’s also humid inside. If you’re looking for a place to have a quiet conversation, this isn’t it. Good customer service though! And the decor is cool.
Always solid Thai food - my regular always fresh and tasty.
I liked ! The only drawback is that the air conditioner didn’t work well)
The inside is decorated very nicely and much bigger than it looks from the outside. Took a little while to get our food. Loved the Vietnamese spring/summer roll with shrimp. The peanut sauce was amazing. Also got the chicken satay and the pad kee mao which were both good. We had ordered the Khao kha moo however when we got our order the pork was much fattier (almost all fat) than what braised pork is typically like. The server was very kind though and took it back and took it off the bill.
lovely vibe and decor
got pad kee Mao chicken was okay, yellow chicken curry, pork belly, and tofu green curry fried rice were all great
Nice place. Food was ok
The food is absolutely delicious but the service here is garbage. With so many options in such close proximity, you’d think they’d focus on this aspect of their business.
It was nice. Food was ok
Beautiful open space with plenty of seating. We didn’t have to wait for a spot and it was very quiet (went during lunch time). The food came out fairly quickly and hot. Overall, the food was yummy, however the pad kee mao could be a bit spicier. Additionally, the main entree portion wasn’t that much for the price so will definitely order at least one more main entree for two people.
Great place to get away from all the noise and have an intimate dinner with family and friends. Drinks are amazing and staff is super attentive. Happy hour is great it's not just drinks on menu. Beautiful place. Bathroom area extra suprise
THE BEST happy hour! My go to is the Lychee Martini. I always tell myself i'm going to try a new place and end up coming here. You can't beat the deals AND the food is absolutely delicious.
Thai food in nyc is amazing. This place is great; their lunch special is unbearable. 12$ for a great portion of noodle and the vibes are great! Space is really well decorated and the service was spot on. Would recommend for your Thai cravings.
Very decent Thai food
Vibes were immaculate. I don’t often give 5 star reviews across the board, but portions are solid, food is flavorful and has texture. The space is gorgeous and even the communal sink area is well-thought. An other-worldly experience to be sure.
Only wish the music selection matched the atmosphere, I would offer recommendations.
Food good but service not io mark.
Huge selection of vegan dishes!!! Best vegan Thai in NYC
Great cozy and affordable Thai food in Williamsburg. Service was quick and nice, restaurant has some cool designs and accents going on, great for a date night.
I think the food was good and above average but not by too much, I felt the crispy pork to be a little chewy and hard at time buts other things like the Panag curry with rice were good.
The pad see ew was amazing as well as the braised pork, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely added to favorites!
Excelente
Keng was absolutely the best, thank you for an absolute amazing experience
Good atmosphere and spacious location. They got the food out super fast, and it was really good. This will only make sense if you try them but the chicken wings taste like they used to be bread that made a deal with the devil to become chicken wings instead of bread but they were super good, again that probably sounds insane if you haven't tried them.
Delicious flavoring, everything so fresh and perfectly done. Did a GREAT zucchini phad thai. And their secret recipe plum sauce! 🙌 Can’t wait to come back. Beautiful atmosphere too, transports you.
Good food but overpriced
Food was great except my chicken wings were over fried. Service was a bit slow for my liking. The atmosphere, however, was beautiful.
Delicious food, but they are not joking with their spiciness. Service was very slow and they needed follow up on a few things they forgot about..
💯
This place has great food. But if you are picking up an order for takeaway, check your bag before you leave. I just ordered 3 items, picked it up and walked home. I open the bag and only 1 of 3 items was correct. I called and told them and said I'd walk all the way back, could they at least have my order ready, they agreed. I walk 20 min back there (60 min of walking so far) and it took 5 minutes for them to figure out their mistake. They took the old order back and it took a few more minutes to cook my correct order. I understand mistakes, but there was only one table busy. If it was my restaurant, I would have at least put in a soda or something, but nope. I really like this place, just disappointed in how they handled their screw up.
I come here often enough lol. Always really good food and good service.
This place is like 1000/10. Absolutely amazing. The food was awesome the staff was very nice and attentive. We got alot of appetizers and the eggplant shrimp, Thai herb fried rice was flavorful. The pineapple rice was good too. The cashew chicken was nice and sweet just perfect. The ambience was nice and they play calming music. The fried calamari was the best ever. Everything authentic tasting. Great for intimate date nights
their lunch specials are a crazy good deal and the food is actually good. love this place 🥹
Pad See-ew with mock duck - Thai Villa blows this place out of the water. There was basically no flavor ‐ not in the noodles, the duck, nor the veggies.
Très bon restaurant thaï, service très agréable et rapide! Plats copieux et succulents ! !
BEST THAI IN WILLIAMSBURG! I’ve tried a lot of Thai places and this is by far the best in a while. 100% recommend. The food is fresh and authentic
Really great restaurant. Ended up wandering over here with a few friends. I got the fake duck mango salad and was not disappointed! 5/5, literally perfect. Not soggy at all and perfect spice, sweetness, and savory combo. A few other things to note, though. My friend got the Thai pulled pork and they said that: “The Thai pulled pork sandwich was a little cold and the bottom bun was a little soggy from sitting out a little too long”. My other friend got the Thai herb chicken fried rice and here was their review: “It had a great balance of herbal flavors and spicy flavors. The portion left me rather full, but not heavy. I greatly appreciated the addition of fresh mint on the top as well.” Overall, really great experience and would 100% recommend! Good prices for portion sizing too. Also, AMAZING chocolate cake. So so good.
One of my favorite spots in Williamsburg! I appreciate how lovely the staff is and always have a great meal here. :) Thank you!
Delicious really friendly service.
Loved the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was delicious ✨️
Visiting from Texas, we wanted to try something we weren't super familiar with so we chose Thai food. Hotel staff recommended Nora Thai and boy are we glad they did!
We asked a few of the restaurant staff for some recommendations. They asked if we liked spicy or non-spicy, which was very thoughtful of them! We went with the spicy route, but also tried a few not-so-spicy dishes. The ambiance was calm and relaxing, certainly a little romantic with the music and the lighting! And the service was wonderful, between the recommendations of the staff as well as the engaging conversation!
My fiance had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and I drank a glass of Sapporo.
Our first course was an order of crab rangoons. They were perfectly fried and crispy with a delicious, warm, creamy crab filling!
The entrees we ordered were:
Crispy Pork Belly with a delicious garlic sauce and Chinese broccoli (not spicy at all!)
Khao-Soy Chicken, a yellow curry and noodle dish that was absolutely phenomenal! (spicy, but not too bad!)
Green Curry Beef, with wonderful flavors of basil, galangal, and green Thai chili. (the spiciest of the 3, and my favorite dish of the night! great heat and depth of flavor!)
The bill came out to $110 before tip for a total of four drinks, an appetizer, and three entrees. Not too shabby!
Thank you, Nora Thai and B for such a great experience!
Very good food! Love their squid salad and whole fish.
Loved it! Will be back!
Ordered Grilled Beef Salad with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.
I received a pile of thinly sliced boiled beef. There were 2 cherry tomatoes and maybe 1/5 part of a cucumber , diced . The veggies looked more like a decoration. My intake of fiber with this dish was close to 0% .
Dear owners , for a salad that is almost $16, please add more tomatoes and cucumbers. And please teach the cooks how to grill beef without boiling it.
I will not be ordering from this place again.
Food is good. Portion size is a bit smaller than most Thai place imo
Service was great but the food is terrible. I am shocked at all the positive reviews.
We ordered massaman curry which was super watery, although the chicken tasted nice, it felt like I was drinking a broth that barely tasted of anything. In appetizers (dumplings and pork buns), we had to send back both of them because they were cold and tasted stale. Again, good on the service, they brought us new pork buns, which was definitely better! The drinks are sooo cheap in happy hour, can't believe it's New York -- but the cocktails were bad. I'd rather pay double for a drink that's better, otherwise it felt like a college bar drink.
Overall, I will not return. Maybe it's better for takeout, but the restaurant was <15% occupied on a Friday night, which should've been a sign but the google reviews were crazy high so we went for it!
Good, but not special.
I came and here and was recommended a dish by the staff here and I could not eat it whatsoever. It was way too spicy and after I asked the chef about it and even he said he can’t handle it. Left the place hungry :(
It was very nice 👌 and good 👍. All the dishes were very good and tasty. We celebrated daughter 's birthday and we will come again ❤.
Listen the ambiance is beautiful, Mood lighting, decor on point, fun bathrooms. They have a full vegan menu! I can get papaya salad here cause no fish sauce! My favorite dish is the panang tofu. For real try it. And i always get the curry puffs to start! Great spot for friends in town or dates.
The vibes in the restaurant were great, this isn’t your average Thai joint. The selection of non-alcoholic drinks complement the spicy dishes well, I tried the lychee tea
such a cool place. Went here for dinner on a weekday and it was quiet but still had a few tables. Service was fantastic, food was amazing, decor is really great. Would definitely come back for drinks on the weekend. Bathrooms are also really nice even around closing time
Authentic Thai fare with a flair.
Service was outstanding. Great happy hour drinks. Nice atmosphere. Good space between tables. Very nice experience. I will return and highly recommend this establishment.
Pretty good restaurant, service was on point throughout the night.
The starters were really good, feel like my entrees were decent. Prices were definitely reasonable

Tasty food with great ambiance
Busy but worth it
Lovely atmosphere and decor but food was disappointing. Beef salad had no spice or zing, massaman curry sauce served with roti was tiny, khao kha moo was quite bland.
Would recommend the vegan Larb, the oyster mushrooms are well seasoned and chewy. Unfortunately so is the tofu! A bit too chewy actually, looks like it was from an older batch maybe?
The curry was a bit too creamy for our taste as well.
Spotted this nice looking establishment walking and went in for a drink. They had deals on cocktails. Ended up getting mojito’s that were very good, shrimp egg rolls, and chicken and shrimp dumplings fried, and a shot of casamigos. All of it was tasty. The staff were nice as well. Will be going back.
Ambiance is nice but the food was disappointing. The vegetable fresh roll skin was very tough, definitely too dry. The red curry said it had egg plant and all these other vegetables, it barely had anything except a few red peppers. Very disappointing.
Pricey
Ordered a pickup, app said 45 min wait. Called the restaurant, asked to cancel since it’s too long. Restaurant told me to come after 30 min. Ended up being 60 min. Poor customer experience.
the curries, especially the dry curry are the best and thai spicy if that’s what you’re looking for 🌶️
Abysmal service - the hostess was very rude when we came in, and the food took an hour to come. Even our drinks took forever, and when they did come there was A BUG FLOATING in one of my guests drinks. For a party of 6, they brought out the first two dishes ten minutes before the rest. Shockingly bad, will never return
Great Food. Great drinks. Very clean. Family friendly and great service!
Very noisy, curry is decent. Drinks $$. The portions are OK if you don't like thai. I'd come back maybe for lunch special, but not dinner.
Awesome location for lunch with co workers or evening with friends. Great appetizers and awesome food.
Great takeout or dine in
The service is good, the food is good, the drinks are good. Nice ambiance. Good pricing. I would go back!
Very affordable for some high quality Thai. Great customer service and the whole establishment was beautiful. I wish I took pictures 😭
I absolutely loved my experience here, the service was impeccable. The waitress gave me the best recommendations, the general ambiance is so relaxing and beautiful and the food: AMAZING, the most authentic southern Thai food I’ve had in New York.
Overall, good food. Great portion sizes, reasonable prices.
The appetizers were fine but the main course had funny taste, without any spices whatsoever. Not recommend, many other restaurants around with better food.
Nice Thai spot. Bar and sitting area when you walk in and cozy restaurant in the back. The decor and vibes here are great perfect spot for a date night. Food was delicious, the papaya salad knocked our socks off. Curry was flavorful with a perfect amount of spice and the Pad Thai was great. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back
Definitely in my date night favs list!!!! OMG the pad kee mao was the best I have ever tasted in the city!!! This was excellence in culinary awesomeness!
Great ambience, delicious food, and reasonable prices.
We came here as a group of 4 around 5pm on a Friday night. We ordered a few dishes to share (papaya salad, tofu curry, fried fish, and some apps). All of them were delicious. The restaurant itself is nicely lit with a good amount of space between tables and cool decorations. Would come back.
ps: sorry about the photo. Only remembered to take a pic of the food after we almost finished eating.
I came here last night for my birthday and it was an excellent choice. The service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. Gigi was a great server and Emad made planning smooth. I would highly recommend Nora Thai for dinner and any event you're planning. Food is amazing - definitely coming back!
Awesome atmosphere, great food and the people are so kind! Great hidden treasure.
Made a reservation for 8:30pm. At 9:30pm, we still weren't seated. The host promised us multiple times that they'd "seat us soon" which is the only reason we stayed so long. We finally left, and the host chased after us to call us back in because the table was ready. Another 10 minutes passed and nothing. When we did leave again, host started yelling and got very nasty with us. We were shocked and starving, so we left without making a fuss and scrambled to find somewhere else. I'm still appalled that they allowed this to happen. Never coming back here again.
Food here is amazing, the decor and Atmosphere makes you feel like your in Thailand. Everything is reasonably priced also. Crab Rangoon is an absolute must !
