The Most delicious taste of HOME. Our family have been there twice, for dinner and lunch. The selection of menu and food was amazing and everyone was so accommodating. I am Thai and they serve truly authentic taste from home here at The Nine Heathrow. The location is very convenient to us with walking distance from Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. We ordered Papaya salad, stir-fried Chicken garlic, Pork Basil, Fried Cheese dumplings and Shrimp Pad Thai. They also have lunch special serve with veggies spring roll and Tom Yum soup, which I think are such a great combination and value. The food is a bit on a spicy side for me. They do offer 0-5 level of spiciness tho. So if you are new to Thai flavor perhaps go for level 1-2 but if you’re up for the true Royal Thai Cuisine spiciness level I would definitely recommend go for level 3-5. They also offer full bar here but still maintain family friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely revisit next time we are back in Orlando.

We had high expectations for this restaurant, as we recently moved from a city with many amazing, authentic Thai restaurants. After reading the Google reviews, we were eager to see if this could be our new go-to Thai spot.

The servers were fantastic and very kind, but it was odd to be approached by a manager before we had even ordered or looked at the menu. We started with an Old Fashioned and a Lychee Martini, but unfortunately, the drinks did not live up to their price. They took quite a while to arrive, and when they did, the Lychee Martini was weak and tasted mostly like lychee extract. The Old Fashioned was similarly disappointing. I brushed it off, hoping the food would redeem the experience.

I ordered the duck pad Thai, and I was sorely disappointed. The plating made it difficult to eat, the noodles were overcooked, and the duck was so overcooked it was inedible. To top it off, there was a sliced omelet placed right on top of the pad Thai, which was completely wrong. It looked like an afterthought, as if the egg had been cooked last minute. The dish was $29, including upcharge for the duck, and I didn’t want to order anything else after that. I politely sent it back and ate dinner at home.

The price does not match the quality, and I can’t justify endorsing it. There’s no reason for pad Thai to be at that price point, especially with such critical errors. For example, the eggs are supposed to be scrambled into the pad Thai, not sliced and placed on top. And there weren’t even any bean sprouts!

I hope the restaurant improves because the staff is very friendly, but the food seriously needs attention. Excellent service alone doesn't make up for the lack of authenticity and quality, especially at those prices.

Staying close by for work and wanted something quick I could walk to and take back to the room. There are several options in the area but The Nine stuck out to me. Overall I liked the food and the service was good (since it was take out I wasn't expecting much).

I ordered when I arrived instead of calling or ordering ahead so I sat in the spacious waiting area. The restaurant was pretty slow but there is alot of space and plenty of seating.

What are you doing with the menu pricing? I used to order a lemongrass soup for 9 dollars a year ago. Last month it was 14 dollars. Now you charge 22 dollars for the same exact portion. Inflation isn't THAT bad. I think you are trying to take advantage of people. And please don't try to blame delivery services. This is based on your actual menus in the restaurant. Pretty good Thai restaurant in Lake Mary. Nice and convenient location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They take reservations as well for dinner. Their food is very tasty and with a good spice level that you can choose to suit your taste. Their chicken only is zabihah halal, which is definitely a plus. The Tom yum soup was good, as was the basil chicken, garlic chicken, pad kee maw, Thai fried rice. They also serve whole red snapper.

We have gone here about 7 times. The last 3 times were not happy with the food at all. Very very salty 🧂 so much so we couldn't eat the app, so we thought it's just the dumpling.Then we got are meal it was the samething so instead of just paying and not coming back we said something. We both wish we just paid and left. The owners were not happy they kept saying you are not used to this kind of food on and on he went on about how good it is. We said if it was that goo, we would have eaten it. But instead we payed for all the food and left not to come back. If he listened to us and said sorry not sure what happened, but we will fix it right way we would be back

Bathrooms can be better

Stumbled into this restaurant that I had no idea was there although here quarterly to attend meetings at the Marriott. This gem is hidden on the side of this strip area. Our server Art was engaging and we also greeted by the owner/chef Nutchy and her husband who did not give up until he was able to get the Thursday night football game on. Wish I would have taken photos but it was too good to wait. We had the Tom Yong Goong (excellent flavor and kick) ordered Hot and Kra-Prow (Thai Basil) - would recommend ordering with Ground Pork for the true authentic flavor of this dish. Will definitely be back - a must go to if you love Thai.

Decided to stop on by to give it a try. The experience was definitely amazing. I ordered the shrimp pad tai and would highly recommended it. But since that tasted amazing I can’t wait to return and try something else, because once again the food was amazing.

I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Thai cuisine. The chef and the staff were super friendly. The chef made a dish I loved fresh that was not on the menu. I’d rate this place five stars.

OMG. We found this place late on a Sunday while visiting from Charlotte, NC. Thai is our favorite food, and this was— hands down — THE BEST we’ve ever had. We met the owner (also the chef), Nuchy. She is an inspiration!! Our host and server was “Oatmeal”. Never have we met more enthusiastic and friendly people. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to something wonderful. Wish they were open tomorrow (Veteran’s Day) and we would be back. Good luck guys!!!

The menu had all the familiar Thai options plus a few more. But the food was the best part. The flavors were great. I found the sauces and dressings lighter and more flavorful than usual. Beautiful place with lovely ambiance only surpassed by the freshness and tastiness of the cuisine. The crab Rangoon had the right cream cheese and a fabulous sauce. The coconut shrimp was done perfectly, crispy and tender with a great dipping sauce. We loved the beef and chicken cashew dishes in a taro basket. The tamarind brown sauce was delectable. They have a daily happy hour from 11:30 until 6 and lunch specials until 3. I have never had Thai so good!

A recent visit to 9 Thai l eft a fantastic impression. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance with authentic Thai décor. The Pad Thai and the Thai basil fried rice were particularly outstanding, perfectly balancing spices and fresh ingredients. I decided to try The Nine for the first time tonight for my birthday dinner and I am so glad I did!! The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The menu is fabulous and plentiful with something for everyone. Everyone at our table ordered something different and it all was AMAZING! Our server was very sweet and attentive and so was the owner who came out to share her passion of her cooking with us! I would give The Nine 10 stars if I could, we will definitely be back!

The food was mediocre at best. Cashew beef was flavorless. The service was not good. We will not be returning.

A taste away from home. We didn't plan on finding a sister restaurant to one in MD. We love the experience and the staff were great. We enjoyed the food. The Shrimp pad thai was very flavorful and so were the Butterfly cocktail and Thai tea. Thank you for your kind service.

The drinks were good including the peach tea, and the bartender even let us try a new savory-spicy tequila drink that was also somehow fruity and really brought out the flavor of the tequila. Everyone was super friendly, and the spice tray was legit! My new favorite Thai restaurant! We will be back!

The experience here was so inviting and relaxing. The staff welcomed and seated us quickly. The food was flavorful and vibrant (mixed peppers for color). Boze waited our table and she was very kind and attentive.

BOZE is an amazing server. She was prompt in a timely fashion and that is very important to me when it comes to service.

I spent $80 for one entree, two appetizers and a dessert. The food arrived in 45 minutes and it was sooo spicy. I looked at the receipt which says NOT SPICY just as I ordered it. All I could do is claim No Delivery for a $20 Uber credit. It is sad Thai 9 cannot follow simple instructions. I will not order here again. Two of the four times I ordered it was incorrect…..smh.

Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations, ensuring that we tried a variety of dishes to suit our tastes. And oh, the food was simply divine! Each dish was expertly prepared, presented, and bursting with flavor. We savored every bite of our mouth-watering meals, from the spicy tom yum soup to the tender green curry and fragrant jasmine rice.

After getting my receipt, the waitress attempted to add gratuity.. stating it was considered a party of 5.. there were 3 adults with a new born and 2 year old child.. are you kidding me.. how can a new born eat your food.. please look at your receipts as they may be stealing money... my last time coming here.. sad and pathetic business practices...

Everything about The Nine is incredible.
The staff is beyond welcoming and generous. The food is beyond belief. I had the shrimp pad Thai, 2 rolls and the mango sticky rice.

Service was good. Everyone was friendly. Food on the other hand was not good. This is our first time trying the place and there’s nothing Thai about the restaurant. Meat tasted like it was cooked, frozen and thawed. Nothing tasted fresh. Even the fried tofu taste old. Mixed vegetable was basically broccoli. Flavorless dishes. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

The food was seriously incredible, so glad there is a Thai place this good in Lake Mary/Heathrow. A hidden gem!

Excellent food and service.

I was hopeful that this new place would be amazing. The menu tempts the palette but the actual dish does not. I had the crab fried rice, which was more of a steamed rice with very little crab on top and hardly any flavor (with hard veggies). Hubby had the "What the duck" and said it was OK. And we ordered three rolls that were 18.95 and they were awful...loose, huge, not the proper sushi rice, and tasted fishy but not in a good way.

Again I was hopeful but I'll stick with going to Orlando for good Thai.

The Drunken Mama Noodles is one of the best Thai dishes I’ve had. Dumplings and other dishes have been really good also.

It’s an upscale Thai restaurant. Prices are a bit spendy but worth it to try some new dishes.
We had a group of three and ordered several things from appetizers to salads to entrees and shared it all tapas style.

It was the official grand opening day, and one thing we adhere to is never dinging a place based on opening issues. Everyone needs time to work out the kinks. It’s just inappropriately unkind to critique a restaurant on opening with a review that will sit with it for years. Our waiter was maybe spread a bit thin with our section, the outdoor diners and bar duty. That won’t be reflected in our review scores.

Appetizers
Curry chicken rolls. Could have been warmer, served at room temp, maybe that’s the style? Curry flavor was very mild. Not tasty enough to really attract attention for a second one. We often think the same thing about Indian somasas (sp?) so maybe our expectations were out of alignment.

Veggie dumplings/gyoza. These looked to be deep fried instead of the pan seared we’re used to seeing. Very crispy and tasty. Popular with the group.

Salads
Larb crispy chicken. Crispy chicken fingerlings in a sauce that tastes similar to satay. Super tasty and a favorite with the group. Great with the salad and just a sliver of onion for a balanced bite.

Papaya salad. This was spicier than we expected. Only one dot on the spice scale and the two ladies thought it was the spiciest thing we had. If I had to describe it to someone who never had it, it’s fresh and slightly fruity Cole slaw with a spicy bite. Personally I loved it but it was too spicy for my table mates to enjoy.

Soup
Chicken coconut soup. This has lemongrass and galangal(like ginger) and lime and it’s super lite in flavor. Filled with ample chicken and mushrooms. As a light soup it’s spot on

Entree
Kra Pao chicken. I’m familiar with Pad Kar Pao which is a crumbled beef dish with hot peppers and sauce. This is more like a chicken stir fry with lots of bell peppers. It was tasty in its own rights. Not what I was expecting but I ate it with a smile!

Overall it was terrific if a bit pricey(to us). Would definitely go again for a special occasion as there are many things on the menu we’d still like to try.

The Nine Heathrow Thai Grill & Kitchen offers a delicious and authentic Thai dining experience. Their menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai or Panang Curry, both of which are customer favorites. The restaurant also has a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a great place for a casual meal with friends or family.

Our first time here was wonderful! The sushi was very high quality and perfectly rolled. We also tried the Mama noodle dish and loved it. Big menu, something for everyone even kids. This is a very nicely decorated, clean, and relaxed environment. Our service was perfect. Family owned and they are experienced, it shows! Highly recommend this restraunt! Loved the picture book on the tables, a great personal touch.

Different sample appetizers and two lunch specials. The garlic chicken and the ginger chicken. They were both phenomenal and seasoned well. A little spicy so let them know your spice preference and they will cater it to your taste buds. The appetizer was a sushi crunchy roll and it was probably one of the best things o have ever tried! Had crispy wontons with it! We also had a sample of the tuna Tatar and it was so well balanced and overwhelmingly pretty. The plates were all good sized. The atmosphere is friendly, warm and inviting. Our waitress was Raya and she was such a delight. They have all types of authentic Thai food and will be having a Thai new years celebration and grand opening on April 13th and will be introducing a new hibachi menu option!!! Oh and they also have a picture menu book which shows you example of some of the menu items! I absolutely loved this and was of great help for the hubs! I cannot wait for that! Oh their mushroom soup is phenomenal! I have never tasted broth that flavorful! If you are feeling any kind of crummy make sure you order that and you will be so happy you did! This restaurant was quite impressive with their flavors, decor and service. Everything we ordered was excellent. Soft shell crab papaya salad was fresh and spice level was just right! Chicken fried rice had a nice variety of veggies and was delicious...Mango sticky rice was the best ever! I love a good family owned restaurant! Also, there is a beautiful story behind this place, it's a must read.

No stars for service, I might as well have been made of stone..no service except for asking what we wanted then left , bring drink, no interaction…bring food no interaction, he acted like we were a bother….worst service in years…unbelievable. Never again, I left food on table in take out bag, soon as I got home was sick…. Tasted old and funny. Spring roll cold no flavor. Go to Pilin Thai, don’t waste your money here as I did.

The best Thai food on the east coast! Fresh, well presented, and most importantly delicious. The owner and her family have such a remarkable story. The Lake Mary community is lucky to have such talent. This is my go to lunch restaurant.
