The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Thai cuisine. I ordered chicken satay which consisted of four pieces with peanut sauce. It was average in taste and flavor. The fried wonton appetizer was disappointing. The order should contain seven pieces. The wontons were thin hard crispy pieces of dough with little meat. The mango curry lacked seasoning and thickness. The drunken noodles with tofu was good and similar to chow fun in Chinese cuisine. Friendly and helpful staff.

Diner Review №2

Amazing cute spot! We took crab Rangoon, red curry and Thai basil with quarter duck. Exceptional 👍👍

Diner Review №3

Was looking for a nice spot to eat since moving a Bay Rudge. W stumbled into this cute little Thai spot. It's small, intimate and had cute decor. The staff was very welcoming and seated us quickly. They also helped us decide what to eat, since it was our first time eating Thai food. Everything we had was amazing! Will definitely go back to try other things on the menu!

Diner Review №4

Ordered the pad see ew, it was bland and did not come with Chinese broccoli, instead they put regular broccoli on the side.

I visit it them from Chicago bc somebody recommended their food. Every plate, appetizer and drink, it was fabulous. I highly recommend visit them.

Diner Review №7

Someone recommend it to me and it really exceeded my expectations. Food is fresh and delicious and the environment is nice.

My girlfriend says this is the best pad Thai she ever had

I'm so excited that we found another Thai restaurant to go to near our area. This place has good food, service and ambiance.

These guys are beggars. We were still dining in the restaurant while the lady here asks for tips while eating food

Diner Review №12

Average at best. I won’t be ordering from them again!

Had some delicious drunken noodles here! Very friends folks over here. Would recommend!

Diner Review №15

I had basil fried rice taste so authentic, I love it.

Diner Review №16

Just had Come On Thai, catching up with an old friend. The place is adorable, the music was great and at the perfect volume for conversation. Roti massaman curry was incredible, which reminded us of a place we used to go when we were kids, nostalgia in every bite. Edame perfectly cooked like healthy fries you could eat endlessly. Then had the curry puffs and veggie springs. All cooked crispy and sauces nicely balanced. Our server Owen was holding it down all by himself- bar, floor, host stand and what seemed like endless take out orders. He was present without being over bearing, smiling the whole time and extremely professional. Highly suggest this joint. Check them out. Will certainly be returning. 🍛

Diner Review №17

Great neighborhood spot! The staff is very friendly.

They offer discounts for paying cash for orders over 45 dollars

I see some of these 5 star reviews and I think to myself that these people do not know what good Thai food is, because this place was awful. I've been to dozens of Thai food restaurants in the NYC area. I know good Thai food.

The Calamari had breading falling off and was tasteless. Even salt would have been an improvement. We ate about half of those and tossed the rest. The spring rolls had a weird aftertaste. They were probably frozen and reheated. We each had one, and threw out the rest. The crab rangoons were ok, but could have had more filling. The Tom Kha coconut soup was so sickly sweet, it was undrinkable. They used way too much of the condensed, sweetened coconut. The duck in the Roti duck was dry. It was tolerable, kinda.

We shared a Tamarind Duck entre which was only ok. It wasn't dry, because it was sitting in too much sauce, but the sauce was lightly seasoned, as was the duck. Could have been much better. I've had much better.

I spent almost $90 on this dinner. Way too much for a below average Thai place. Someone should also tell them about the "come on steak" on their menu. The laugh we got from that did not make the food easier for consumption.

Diner Review №20

nice thai here foo here i like it , and the boss is so pretty 😙

Diner Review №21

I will NEVER order from this place again. I ordered through Grubhub. The fried wontons looked refried. The Soup was extremely spicy that I couldn't even eat it. I had to rinse everything in the soup off just to eat it amd through out the broth. If I could give 0 stars I most certainly would. They need to refund my money for that mess. I'll stick to my regular place next time.

Diner Review №22

I almost never leave reviews but was amazed with the flavors and the heat brought in these dishes. Have eaten thai all over the country and this is by far some of the best thai takeout I've ever had.

Diner Review №23

The best thai food in Bay ridge

It's my second time coming here. Everything looks amazing to me. Crab fried rice is the recommended menu. Plenty of crab meat. The rice isn't too soggy. The spring rolls are very crispy. I like this. It's my favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

Diner Review №24

Although this is a Cute little Thai place, The one this that wasn't litte is the Taste.. Come on Thai said it's time to go big or go home and the food certainly did not dissappoint..
Decorated pretty..
The only thing was this place is a little F to the Y..
But the best places Normally are.

Appetizers were great. Our server was a doll but kept bringing us dirty dishes to eat on. Overall and give this place the best rating for food. Happy we stumbled across this place my boys don't have a new favorite Thai place.

Diner Review №25

Everything was excellent from service to the food

Diner Review №26

Good place, but please minus the sad songs. Do some happy song or use a iheartradio please!!!

Diner Review №27

Crab meat fried rice is our family favorite and keep ordering with other items every orders.

Diner Review №28

Great food! I had the basil fried rice and I keep coming back. Had lots of thai food and this is in my top 3!

Diner Review №29

We catered for a birthday party from Come On Thai and it was a very smooth and satisfying experience! They were very quick to respond to all my questions related to the catering and fairly priced. The food was exceptional! All of the guests gave great feedback and the appetizers were gone in the first 10 minutes! Definitely looking forward to dining there in person next time. Planning a party can be overwhelming and doing it with Come On Thai definitely made the experience better. Thank you!

Diner Review №30

Best Thai food in Brooklyn

Diner Review №31

The fried rice and pad Thai seem to have declined in quality, possibly due to new ownership and a new chef. However, the curry dishes remain good.

Diner Review №32

Authentic tasting Pad Thai. Absolutely delicious. I previously ordered pad thai from the place near 4th and 86th and wasn't happy at all. Something about it seemed off. I'm glad I decided to try Come on Thai today and I was very happy with the authentic flavors of the Chicken Pad Thai. Will order again soon!

Diner Review №33

Food wasn't good and had some bad taste..
They forgot to bring a dish but didn't forgot to charge for it.
Nah wouldn't recommend at all, sorry.

Visited this place twice in one week.
I don’t always eat duck but when I do— it’s always here. Soooo goood!

Although: Needs more personnel during peak hours

Recommend: Serving spoon/fork on shareables

Portion sizes are tiny. I also agree with another reviewer, Zhizn, because of the terrible service! We walked in with zero greeting and an owner demanding first if we will finish eating in…1 hr. For 10 minutes nothing was placed in front of us. We asked piece-by-piece for menu, a drink menu, napkins, water, receipt, credit card receipt, etc. We bussed our own table. We were the only table. Good location. Tom yum is not authentic Thai and the service is unwelcoming.
UPDATE: View the poor attitude from the owner (below). She’s since realized she showed her true colors and changed her version several times. Thank you for your response. I’m glad to be interacting directly with the owner. We order consistent takeout. Tom Yum is not authentic; agreeing with another patron. This can be helpful feedback. There was zero cursing. Zero. Not who I am, clearly. The rest read senseless. Upon entering we were (very) polite even though you offered zero smile or a “hi.” You interrupted my question with an impatient long lesson on call waiting, etc when simply asked if the phone no. was correct, and was annoyed that costumers check to see if a place is open. We didn’t even sit yet! Professionalism goes a long way. I was in the industry 9 years and current elementary school teacher. We had a restaurant here in the 1950’s. You slammed my dish on the table. You ignored every “Thank you.” You screamed at your kitchen staff. You suddenly switched your voice when taking delivery orders. I did not say anything because your child was in the place. Aside from her being very cute, being “taken care of” by you was a truly terrible experience. I could’ve left to be on time to my appt. But I had to wait and then made to get up to call for you for a long time, in order to pay you after you disappeared. I have a right to help my neighbors. You are fortunate in my book you got an eye roll and a tip. You’re not surprised about it because you know exactly how aggressive you are. Diners shouldn’t bus their own tables. Period. Due to the owner’s poor attitude walking in and unwillingness to learn from her error(s), we graciously will (continue to) as she wishes to frequent other establishments as long-time homeowners and neighbors. Tiny portions. Huge attitude. Great reply. We miss MyThai. That gentleman knew customer service. (Of course we’ve been there. We supported them throughout COVID. He was lovely.)
UPDATE: The only statement: “You will turn customers away with your poor attitude.” It was barely whispered. Zero cursing. “Bad sentence?” and the “shock”? Lady, lady, stop playing victim with the drama. Your child was there. Relevance? Put the violin away. In fact, the only screaming (at staff) and modeling of rude behavior was your own. Just perform better. Or not. But don’t be desperate for an argument because you have pretty terrible service. Can you imagine dealing with this lady when you’re trying to pay for a meal? BEWARE.

Diner Review №44

Amazing Thai in Bay Ridge!
My favorite is the Drunken Noodles and household favorite Is the Salmon Mango salad.
But everything is great on the menu.

Diner Review №45

Food was good, however my friend didn’t like her food, said it was too spicy (she also asked the women if it was spicy she said no!) Instead of sending it back. She paid for the dish and said nothing. We waited for the check and added a reasonable tip of $4, we also had to pay a service fee for using a credit card. The waitress opened the check book and said “excuse me, was something wrong with the food? “You only left me $4”? Honestly that’s so rude and tacky. She also said it with other costumers around!!! Tipping isn’t mandatory and if that’s all I can afford, you shouldn’t question it.

Diner Review №46

Make sure you tip cause if not she’ll call you out infront of everyone !

Diner Review №47

2023: The portion sizes have improved, so I'm raising their rating.

2022: The food is tasty, but the portions have shrunk ridiculously in the past year. They went from using smaller containers to not even filling the smaller containers. The COVID impact on customer level is over, so they shouldn't be skimping so much.

Diner Review №48

Diner Review №49

I guess they expect you to eat with your hands. They don't give you utensils when you order delivery.

Diner Review №50

We had the Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice, Seafood Mango Curry, Chicken Satay, Calamari, Thai Iced Tea, and Lemonade. Everything was great besides the Chicken Satay and Lemonade, being that the Lemonade was not homemade, most likely bottled. The chicken in the satay could use a bit more flavoring but was saved by the accompanying dips.

The service was excellent. The staff was very attentive and courteous. Food came out in a timely manner. We had our toddler dining with us and they had an entire set of quality plastic cutlery with plate for her. Above all they were super attentive with her. We all enjoyed that experience very much.

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №52

Bland food. It was 20 minutes late and my pineapple fried rice had no pineapple.

Diner Review №57

Stopped in the middle of eating this good food. Ordered Thai fried rice and requested them to please make it “Thai level spicy” and holy smokes they delivered.🔥 so good. Love the chicken satay too, will order often from here and try other things but keep it up.

Diner Review №58

Diner Review №59

The food is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Love, love, love the crab rangoon. They catered a retirement party and everything was perfect!

Diner Review №60

我点了芒果糯米饭,真的非常差劲,芒果不甜且发黑,糯米饭非常小一团

Diner Review №61

Diner Review №62

The service is good, ambiance is not bad as well. As far as the main, food is concerned the taste is really substandard. The tom yum soup didn't feel the hit of thai spices but more tomato-y. Green curry was also average compared to New York standards

Diner Review №63

Had fries, pangang curry, and pad thai. Fries were very crispy for crinkle cuts, and the pad Thai was a tad too sweet. But it was delicious!

Diner Review №64

My family been here many times, food is good but I feel so scammed because we recently ordered delivery and the portion size was so small???? why are the bowls and takeout boxes you guys use kid sizes? I finished the mama tomyum in 3 bites. So disappointed especially because everything wasn’t cheap. Please improve on this.

Diner Review №65

Nice and inexpensive Thai place in Bay Ridge. The Peanut curry and Basil Fried Rice were really amazing. For appetizers we took Crab Rangoon and Chicken Shrimp Dumplings. Crab rangoon was cold and had more cream cheese than crab meat. Rest was good.

Diner Review №66

Diner Review №67

I placed an Uber eats order, there’s limited tracking because they deliver their own food. My food was supposed to be delivered between 7:45p and 8:05p so by 8:20p I requested an update several times but didn’t get one so I tried calling the restaurant but it rang out. I called two more times and it rang out again. So I canceled the order. I was charged the full amount for canceling because supposedly the food had already been prepared but I feel like that was a lie since they ended up delivering my food by 9:30p! An hour and half late and they gave no response during that time. Uber eats and this restaurant were not helpful at all either. Won’t be ordering from here again, Top Thai restaurant is way better anyway.

Diner Review №68

Panang Curry was about as bland as I have had. Very disappointed in Thai food overall since moving to Bay Ridge.

Diner Review №69

Couldn’t find a place open near me so I took a chance with this restaurant and I was not disappointed! Quick and friendly service, not to mention my food was delicious and the portions were great!

Diner Review №70

Overall, the food was really good. We ordered the Roti Massaman, Pad See Ew, and the Garlic stir-fry. Everything was really nice, the Roti Massaman was a little small, but it tasted good. Otherwise, the portions were decent and we had a nice time. Although the restaurant closes at 10, I believe the kitchen closes at 9:30.

Diner Review №71

Diner Review №72

Diner Review №73

Not impressed, ordered from this restaurant flavor is ok but portion is small and and skimp on ingredients Roti masaman was size for a toddler and had two small cubes potatoes init no crispy onion or whatsoever on it, disappointed

Diner Review №74

Great pad Thai

Diner Review №75

It’s very nice restaurant. Today we enjoyed great food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Diner Review №76

Food was amazing. Didn’t love the plastic plants.

Diner Review №77

Ordered the lemongrass soup (Tom Yum) as an appetizer which was quite delicious and flavorful.

The beef drunken noodles was a bit too hot for my liking. Wish they would of asked what level of spiciness I'd like (other Thai places I've been to give you an option of mild, hot, etc.)

Server was nice enough. The ambiance and decor is good, however, it is a small restaurant.

Diner Review №82

Hands down, Come On Thai has the best Thai food in Bay Ridge! One of our new staples and my personal new favorite spot for comfort food. Chicken or Shrimp Pad Thai, Tom Kha soup, Green Curry & Panang Curry are our favorites so far. And don’t forget to ask for for your side of prik nam pla!! Welcome to the neighborhood, Come On Thai!! We <3 You!! 🫶

Diner Review №83

We were hoping to find a good Thai restaurant in Bay Ridge, but sadly, this is not it. The papaya salad was not fresh, the papaya was soggy, the tomatoes and string beans had black spots on them. The Spring Rolls were quite skinny. The Massaman Curry was thin and had no peanuts. The drunken noodles had a lot hot spice but not a lot of flavor. The chai pancakes were actually quite good, but the sauce was thin.

Diner Review №84

One of the top five Thai places I have ever been.
Newer to Bay Ridge and hope they stay long. We usually order take out but 7/20 we decided to eat an early dinner at the restaurant.
Small, intimate dining area with great service. Our favorites are the spring rolls, fried tofu and scallion pancakes for apps and the Mango Salmon salad, Masamam Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai for mains. If you like REAL spicy, ask for Thai spicy... I usually do drunken noodles with chicken at Thai spicy level and am never disappointed.
Highly recommend for dine in or take away.

Diner Review №96

Amazing thai place that we came across. The ambiance is so relaxing and cozy. They have decorated the entire place with Christmas decorations and I guess the whole vibe of dining in was just different. They even have a tiny Christmas tree lol.
We ordered spring rolls, chicken larb, green curry, and drunken noodles and I must say every single dish was hands down finger-licking delicious. Chicken larb was a healthy, high protein salad with a tangy taste that I really enjoyed. I’m personally was never a fan of thai curries because of coconut milk that is used in, but green curry totally changed my opinion. We got it with salmon and the salmon itself was soft yet slightly crispy from the outside and just perfectly cooked. I will definitely give the other Thai curries a chance too considering how good the green curry was. Drunken noodles have always been my favorite and I just loved how they made them; we got it with the chicken and it was perfectly cooked.
Our waitress was super nice and the other staff was also very welcoming. Wait time for the food wasn’t too much once we ordered and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food whereas portion could possibly be slightly bigger. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot.

Diner Review №98

The food was great. The place is mid size maybe a party of 20 most could fit in. The staff were extremely courteous. I was offered a Glass of water while sat and waited for my order. I had the lunch special with added coconut rice. My only complaint was the portions. I was given a big plastic container with a huge paper bag for my take out only to realize that the servings was 1/3 the plate. I guess if you dine in you receive a larger portion. Maybe it's the recession lunch special or people in that area are watching their figures. No pun intended. Or maybe I am just used to large servings. 🅿️ Is limited. Great decour. But don't take my word for it done in one day and make you own conclusions. We are all humans.

Heres the problem ... the food is your typical blasé thai food , not really authentic , the quality of food is like that of a ble Chinese restaurant. I usually order their Basil sauce because , it is pretty good (all complaints aside) however , lets say for example , you order it with Chicken .... you get these tiny bits of chicken with a few peppers and onions . Once it had string beans , then it did not ... now i was told it diesnt include it ... point is 38 dollars for ble thai food? Go check out "ugly baby" that is real thai food and even cheaper !

Drove from queens (flushing to bay ridge)
Spent an hour for one way drive.. but it's worth.
Unexpectedly found cozy Thai place
I'm an Thai appetizer's lover so Order 4 dishes 3 dishes were appetizers which were moo yang, shrimp and chicken dumplings, chicken larb and mango curry) 1 dish was curry
Moo Yang 5/5 : the best moo yang in Thai restaurant I have had
My mom likes mango curry very much. She really enjoyed the curry their curry got taste sweet and sour from the mango
Service was great, Waitress and waiter including the owner were so nice.
Highly recommend and definitely will go back "IF" I go to bay ridge again

Every time I ordered French fries from them and the sauce is missing. It's printed on the menu, right? Take a look at the photo and tell me where's the pink sauce? And what happened to your Thai Pineapple Fried Rice today? It's supposed to look golden with pineapples. Today fried rice look so bad and smell bad, too! Take a look at this piece of poorly cut slice lime! It's not fresh!!! Where are the pineapples in the fried rice? This look like a regular Chinese eggs fried rice! Are you kidding me?! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! The customers are here to do business with you, but you can't deliver quality service!

Diner Review №131

Come on Thai used to be My Thai. My Thai was great. Huge dishes with great flavor and nice staff that helped you figure out what level of spice each dish has. Come on Thai is not my Thai. Came here 6 months into the pandemic hoping my Thai survived. It did not. Now I've only had take out from come on Thai because we weren't comfortable eating in yet but the dish portions were a far cry from the previous owners. The flavor was also lacking. Prices were about the same as my Thai when I last went (about $11-13 a dish, not including the lunch specials). I probably wouldn't come back for take out. Decor wise, it was nice. Had plenty of seats with outdoor seating as well. Would I come back for dine in eating? Leaning towards no but depends on how hungry I am and how badly I want mediocre Thai.

Diner Review №132

This is my first review but it not my first time trying the food from this restaurant, I just people to know that I love this place the food is great and also the service as well. I ordered crispy pork basil and red curry with shrimp it was so delicious out of this world !!!!! I would give them a 10 stars if I could. Just want people’s to see my comment and give this place a try , you won’t be disappointed.

Come On Thai in Bay Ridge rates as good (if not better) than any Thai place I repeat visit.
Salad w/peanut sauce, Curry Puffs, Fried Wontons, Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken and Shrimp Basil Fried Rice.... all exceptional.
I can’t wait to eat from them again. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.
