I had the Take out. Green Curry and Papaya Salad
Firstly, I am happy and appreciative that I can get Thai food here. It’s hard to get at the Bronx.
The delivery was good. I liked the green curry. The papaya salad could use juice as it lacked some flavor
All in all happy I got it
We stopped by. They have maybe two tables open. We ordered and received our food in to go manner. I got the Thai curry it was good I feel like it needed some more flavor but it was still yummy and a good portion size. The lady was working alone up front and she was very nice to all of the guest when they arrived to pick up their food.
Just received my order from Uber eats missing items! I been ordering from this restaurant for few years now and I am surprised! Please make sure you check your orders before sending out the delivery. Other than that food is good
Mediocre. I ordered the duck soup because I absolutely love duck and it was bland! So sad. I got the drunken noodles w/chicken and it was just okay. Spicy, about a medium. It had more spice than flavor. I took the duck pieces from my soup and mixed it in w the drunken noodles. Probably not ordering from here again. Sadly.
Favorite thai place in the Bronx! Used to order here almost every week when I was a student at Manhattan college. I miss it a lot The people are so friendly and food is amazing. Highly recommend the mango sticky rice, pineapple fried rice, and pad see ew.
We had the chicken pad Thai which was pretty dry and hardly had any chicken, was pretty disappointing. The shrimp curry was seasoned alright but only had 5 pieces of shrimp in total, which I feel like is also a small amount. Hardly any meat in their dishes, skimping on it. The best part, and the reason for the 3 stars instead of lower, was because of the appetizers. Those were fairly good.
So excited to have a new thai restaurant in riverdale/kingsbridge. There are many asian fusion places around that don't hit the mark when it comes to Thai. Moon Thai solely focuses on bringing authentic flavors with fresh ingredients. I loved their green curry- spicy and rich sauce, velvety eggplant, crisp green peppers and bamboo shoots. I choose tofu which was nice and firm- but u have several protein options to choose from. I also ordered the tom-yum soup with shrimp- great balanced lemongrass broth for this fall cool weather, soft poached shrimp, medium spice level. I look forward to ordering from them again and highly recommend it!.
great food, great people, and great prices!
Everything is 5 out of 5
Food is delicious and the staff is very friendly
It’s hard to get this much of delicious Thai food and friendly service

The person delivering my food (Carlos) literally left it on the floor. Disgusting!
Visiting from Phoenix Arizona, and the food that I received was amazing! Lady up front was very nice and patient as well.
Curry puffs were nice everything else was shite

Everything was excellent. I was looking for the place and the lady even came outside to help us. Food and service was EXCELLENT
Such good food!!!!

first time ordering here, ordered the spicy drunken noodles and they were brilliant.
This is a fake Thai restaurant, anyone who is used to authentic Thai cuisine would certainly agree. The Thai Ice tea is completely garbage, it tasted like it was made with Lipton tea. Again anyone who authentic Ice Tea would know their version of Thai Ice Tea is garbage. I had chicken pad Thai, chicken was not well cooked. the noodles were not well cooked. Barely any real seasoning, a couple slices of scallion, I had to REQUEST for the peanut butter, when it is NORMALLY part of this dish. I question anyone who is giving this restaurant high ratings. Either the high ratings are from their family and/or friends. Or from people who have no clue on authentic Thai cuisine. The ambience of the restaurants is gloomy, no music no television playing. Everyone who is working their are dress like they are ready to collect cans to redeem. Please do not waste your time or your money.
I ordered lunch special and mango stick rice. Food was really good and fair price. What I liked most is the nice behavior of the lady at the counter. I think NYC is going down with good customer service. Gladly this restaurant is doing good job.
Best Thai around.
Delivery took in excess of two hours. The delivery driver had to wait for an extended period of time at the restaurant to pick up the order. Had to call the restaurant to resolve the delay. The food was average at best; particularly bland for Thai food. This will not be our go to for Thai delivery.
Good, rapid food and service.
EDIT: I'd eaten here before, and it was always my favorite food in the neighborhood, which is why I traveled so far. I just spoke with the restaurant and they explained about the leak that lead to the unexpected closure, apologized, and made everything right. Thank you! I appreciate that, and I really appreciate the good customer service.
Yesterday I called the restaurant to confirm their hours today, Wednesday, October 4th. And the lady I spoke with directly said they were open for lunch from 11:45 a.m. till 3 p.m. I just traveled forty minutes to get here and the gates down and they are closed.Absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous.
Order from here often.
Our favorites are the Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Crispy Basil Chicken Rolls, spring rolls, Param crispy chicken and the chicken satay.
The Thai iced tea is amazing, too. 5 stars all around.
Most of the time the pineapple fried rice is incredible and the noodle are great too.
Food and service was outstanding! If you are looking for excellent Thai food, eat here!
Yummmmmy. Very Nice waitress!
Such great food, worth the delivery wait.

I’ve been on the hunt for a good Thai place in the area with Pad Kee Mao/Drunken Noodles and finally found this place. Asked for extra spicy and it was perfect. Will be ordering from here again!
Do yourself a favor and come try the food here. One of the best in town and I ordered for me to lot and continue to do it.
Tried giving them a chance time and time again. They always give half of order. Called to talk to them about it. Hung up on me the first time. Second time, I am literally yelling he states he cannot hear me. But hears me when I asked him about my order.
Continuously upcharging me on uber eats but never sending the full order.
Food is okay but the quantity of the food is very less it the food is full with onion and pepper instead of protein. I highly don’t recommend this place.
Delivery was very good! Everything tastes fresh and generous portions. Looking forward to driving down there to get the food in person :)
I walked in, a young woman told me the kitchen was closed and would reopen in an hour. A large man in whites sitting at a table eating told her it was okay if I ordered take out, and as soon as I ordered, he went back to the kitchen, apparently to prepare the dishes.
I ordered the Shrimp Param and Chicken Pad Thai. The Shrimp was crispy and edible, the broccoli tasted almost raw, and the sauce was to thick to be called a sauce.
The Pad Thai was so bad we couldn’t eat it. It had small, thin, dried out pieces of chicken. There was what looked like scallions in it, but no egg, or ANY of the other ingredients described in the menu, and the ‘sauce’ was so sour we threw it out after a couple bites.
I’m really disappointed I didn’t get the food the other reviewers raved about.
I've eaten at ~50 Thai places in my life. The basil dish here is by far the best - amazing flavor. Picky eater, but I still highly recommend this place.
Best place for Thai food in Kingsbridge.
I trusted the comments here and put my order. But was very disappointed that this is a very bad restaurant with rude staff. I ordered my food online but they even forgot to ask the driver to pick it up. I called them at 10 pm and their attitude was very bad, asking me to cancel the order. Ended up in having nothing for the night. Their grubhub rate is very low too. Do NOT trust the comment here - seriously wondering whether they got positive comments by rewarding earlier customers. DO NOT recommend it at all.
This place is a small piece of heaven. Worth every cent and I don’t say that often. Whoever is in charge. You deserve a spot above. The best Uber Eats money can buy. Love it! I ordered Thai Basil Rice, Crispy Basil Chicken Rolls, and the peanut sauce on the side. After I ate, I had a very fulfilling sleep. Large portions and so fresh and flavorful.
The lunch deal was great. They gave a generous amount of shrimp. We ate at home so we had some more limes to use since they only gave one for the pad thai. We combined the drunken noodles and pad thai actually so it was pretty good. Definitely not spicy at all. Would have liked it more spicy.
One of the better Thai places I've ever had. Normally I go into Manhattan for Thai but this place is even better than most places I've normally frequent in the city. This is probably the best Thai restaurant in the Bronx.
Noodles are delicious. Cook just right. Curries are flavorful and not overpowering by the spice, which I prefer. Will come back again.
We absolutely love their “zesty wings”, “mango salad” and “drunken noodles”. We have ordered multiple times from here, they deliver quickly and the food is always delicious. Too bad they are temporarily closed, we miss ordering food from here.
Most Authentic and tasty Thai food you can find in the Bronx. Could say you won’t find any other Thai restaurant in the vicinity serving quality food as close to Moon Thai.
**update** Why they gotta skimp on the rice every time?!! It's RICE, fill the container :(
Delicious and fresh Thai food! The Tofu Drunken Noodles were flavorful, yet could have used a bit more sauce, and the Chicken Massaman Curry had excellent seasoning. Fast and friendly service and reasonably priced. Looking forward to trying more from the menu!
I ordered fried rice from here on Grubhub, it arrived quickly but unfortunately it was very bland and tasteless I would not recommend it at all. Try Accent Thai Kitchen in Yonkers
The kitchen Was really good.
OMG LOVE THE TARO BOBA TEA AND THEIR AMAZING PADSUE I LOVE THIS PLACE I COME HERE EVERY WEEK AND IT NEVER GETS OLD YOU HAVE TO GO YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Authentic in the heart of Riverdale!
Finally an amazing thai restaurant in Riverdale! We were so pleased with our food, we ordered two nights in a row! The food was delicious! The Mango Salad was one of the best we’ve tasted! As a vegetarian, I was so stoked to learn that they have mock vegetarian duck! This place should be at the top of the stack of your delivery menus! They offer free delivery if you call and also deliver through Grubhub for a small fee. Do yourself a favor and order from them today! You’ll be glad you did!
Sadly.
Might be the best thai food in NYC!
Got a bunch of spring rolls, dumplings, curry puff, calamari, noodles, and crispy duck. Everything was very tasty. Definitely above par for this neighborhood. Everything arrived fresh and hot, not soggy at all. Portion size was pretty good for the price. There are not too many similar options in this area so I'm definitely happy to have a solid place that delivers for lunch.
How quickly is the fall.
We ordered from here a few months ago, and it was as good as the reviews.
We ordered tonight, and it wasn't good at all. My pad thai with tofu (ordered first time as well) was dry and flavorless. The tofu was almost burnt and rubbery. My husband ordered a costly special, the soft shell crab, and it also was overcooked and dry.
We won't be ordering from Moon Thai for a while. They apparently got greedy within 6 months of operation and now think that mediocre overcooked and favorless food is fine to serve.
Love the boba
Delicious!
Amazing calamari and Pad sew is fire so good
After reading through the 28 fairly good reviews this new spot has I decided to take a chance. I live in the Bronx and it makes me happy to see more diversity when it comes to the food options we have in our neighborhood. I consider myself to be a big foodie and have had some of the best Thai food there is to offer as I’ve been to Thailand and have had amazing Thai food in nyc. My take on it is the food could be better. The drunken noodle and the spicy basil fried rice could use a bit more flavor. They were both spicy but it lacked flavor. The upside to ordering from here is that their portions are pretty decent. Hope this helps.
I had such high hopes for this place based on the great reviews, however my dishes were honestly lacking in flavor. I had the chicken pad Thai and the pho...they weren’t bad, but they were really just not very flavorful.
Love the bubble tea!
The food was delicious!! I ordered the Masaman Curry with chicken, coconut rice, Pad Thai and a soup. It was all tasty!!
FINALLY, a solid Thai restaurant around here!!! Highly recommend their Pad See Ew with shrimp, excellent flavor and generous portions. Pad Thai needs more oil and flavor but texture is good. I can't stand the Asian fusion around here, so this place opening is the best news ever.
I am so happy this restaurant is finally open! I have eaten Thai food all over the city and I always wished there was a good Thai restaurant here. I can finally recommend a good Thai restaurant in the Bronx! My wife and I ordered the Mango Salad, Duck Salad, Drunken Noodles, Spicy Basil Fried Rice, and a Mango and Taro Bubble Tea. My wife loved her mango salad and I liked my duck salad although the duck was a bit dry. However the sauce on the duck makes up for it. The drunken noodles were pretty spicy and will satisfy anyone who likes spicy food. Our only complaint was that the fried rice was not spicy. Perhaps the person who took our order misheard us; it was still delicious. Finally the bubble tea, my wife and I absolutely love bubble tea and this restaurant makes a solid one. Considering there are no bubble tea spots around here, this is a must try for anyone who doesn't want to go into the city to get one.
Just had... popular = 1 hour min. No Thai in Riverdale 🤷🏽♂️$ is reasonable 4/5. Worth it 😋
I’m already loving this place. I’ve been searching for authentic Laotian or Thai dishes and I may have found my spot. I ordered the curry chicken (extra spicy), pad see ew, rice mango sticky rice dessert. They were all delicious. If you have an open mind with food or at least cultivated then I highly recommend this place.
Amazing food. Vegetarian modification are delicious. Would definitely recommend.
This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant, and was thrilled to hear there was one close by. I hated it. The green curry with shrimp was not good. The frozen shrimp and green beans lacked flavor and the green curry sauce was too hot and over powering. There was 4-5 previously frozen tastless medium shrimp in the dish and this was the dinner size portion. I don't believe this authentic Thai food. So I will continue to travel to the different location where I know the food is delicious
Do not Recommend the restaurant . Money wasted!
The food was amazing! I had the drunken noodles and it was so flavorful. The appetizer sampler was great too, we got to try a little bit of everything, my favorite was the chive pancake. The basil duck was crispy and the sauce was divine. The staff is very friendly with great service. I will definitely be returning!
Everything was cooked to perfection! Staff and service was wonderful.
Best thai food in the bronx hands down! Amazing service as well! We loved everything we ordered from the drinks to the food. Highly recommend!
So good!
Great Thai iced tea!!
The food is delicious!
