Tuanjai has become our destination for Thai food from the first day we tried their food. It is like going home for a home cook meal. The owner/cook is very warm and checks on everyone once she has the chance to have a break in cooking like we became a family. The food is just topnotch, every dish I tried became a favorite. Definitely one if not the best Thai restaurant we have tried not just in New Mexico (where they rank in the top 10) but in the US. We have been to 50 states so that says a lot.

By far the best Thai in the 4 corners area. If you are in Farmington and expecting authentic, drive to Aztec.

The spice level is authentic. Choose wisely. The owner and staff are very kind and friendly. Highly recommend

I was very pleasantly surprised to find such great Thai food pretty much in the nowhere. The place was obviously family owned and they were excellent at what they do. We had multiple dishes and Thai coffee and all of it was great.

The one thing we didn't love is that all the food comes in styrofoam containers, even if you're eating in the restaurant. They're so small that I fully understand that they may not be able to afford staffing a dishwasher, but it would be great if they at least switched to paper containers. Other than that everything was excellent.

Nicely decorated inside, very clean. Service was wonderful and friendly, quick as well. Food is omg so good and large portions. Well worth it.

My friend and I stopped in on our road trip for lunch. It was neat, clean, attractive, and the menu was easy to choose from. The food came in takeaway containers for now (new management, apparently) and WOW. I had chicken fried rice and my friend had the pad kee mao (apologies if I spelled that incorrectly). He said his was utterly delicious, and my fried rice was some of the best I've had. Fresh veggies, great flavor, I could taste all the ingredients. Rice also fried perfectly. It was so much, I had to wrap it up and take half with me! Would definitely stop here again. Note it's mostly street parking, but well worth a little walk.

They work their magic with the flavor profile the simplest dishes. I got the combo fried rice for lunch, my husband got the pad see-ew. Hands down the best Thai food we’ve had and affordable prices! Highly recommended!!

This isn't just the best Thai food in Farmington, Aztec and Durango, it also ranks up there with the best restaurant food of any cuisine. The curries are amazingly creamy and flavorful. How it's not always busy is beyond me.

We stopped in here for lunch after visiting the Aztec Ruins and we are so glad we did! I even got to talk with the owner for a few minutes while she explains that during the summer months she grows her own vegetables for her recipes! Everything tasted fresh and very delicious. We had the Phad Thai and egg rolls with Thai iced tea.

We were skeptical, but gave it a shot anyway. SO SO happy we did. I had the pad Thai, hubs had the pad see ew. Both were outstanding. We live in Santa Fe, and drive through Aztec a few times a year for vacation in Telluride. This is the perfect place to stop for lunch. The food was tasty, hot, and very fresh. We will definitely stop again. Highly recommend!

This place is a true gem! Top notch service and delicious food. I got takeout Tom Kha Gai and Green Curry (veggie) when passing through town. Both were fantastic, and since I was indecisive on the spice level, they offered to add some extra spice on the side. When I showed up, they had packaged my food with 3 different kinds of spice on the side, and explained their levels of heat to me. Above and beyond helpful service! In retrospect, the level 3 spice was perfect on its own: good amount of kick without being painful. But you never know when trying a new restaurant, and I very much appreciated the thoughtful guidance and service. Aztec is so lucky to have this restaurant! 10/10, highly recommend!

I grew up in Thailand and know Thai food very well. Tuan Jai Thai Noodle has the best Thai food I have eaten! Very friendly staff!

I love this place and their food. I've had plenty of Thai food in area and this is in my top 2. I have a standing meal here every Thursday after work. The red and green curries with chicken are fantastic and the potstickers too. I've had the pad kee Mao, pad Thai and spicy basil fried rice which are delicious. Top favorite restaurant in Aztec.

The food is great but served in Styrofoam even when dining in. Good hot Tom Kha in Styrofoam bowls -- no thanks. Too bad. I can't go back for that reason alone. Used commercial dishwashers don't cost a lot. I hope they find one.

Best Thai food I have had.

We stopped for lunch and had the Panang Curry, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice and the Tom Yum. Everything was delicious, fresh, perfect spice levels, good serving sizes (we had plenty of left overs). Service was excellent. Even the Chef came out and asked about our dining experience. Highly recommend.

Green curry 3.77/5 😂. Dismissive bothered attitude from the waitress 2/5. Being gaslit & blamed by the woman manager 1/5. Felt like I stepped into their little clique. I hope the owner figure it out before too much collateral damage. True understanding and care for the owner’s investment success was clearly not the waitress or manager’s priority

I gave the waitress an $8 tip for a $12 to-go (a generous night) before discovering my order was incomplete. The waitress didn’t want to be bothered, essentially telling me to FO. Side-stepping accountability, she then lied to her manager 😑 Bad business.

Our group of 7 stopped by for lunch and were thrilled with this gem of a restaurant - the staff are very friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS and authentic! We will be back anytime we're in the area!

The best Authentic Thai food around! Everything is so fresh and delicious. The portions are massive, great environment, nice and clean, friendly staff, super helpful in choosing the right dish, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It tastes just as good and fresh as the food you get in Thailand.

Perfect soup for the weather

I had some massama curry and a delicious sticky rice dessert. They give you big portions so you definitely get what you pay for. Seriously a gem in the four corners area, the food isn't for everyone but if you like more international taste then you should definitely stop by here. People are also friendly and accommodating.

This is a wonderful little Thai restaurant. It has changed hands a few times but the current owner has been the cook for quite some time. I like how they've changed the business model. It's now counter-order and everything is served in to-go packaged containers. They still have tables that you can eat on location. I highly recommend any of the Curry dishes. On this trip I had the curry catfish. It was wonderful!
