Thai Vegan was delicious and one of the best vegan places in Albuquerque. But also, it happens to be one of the best Thai places I’ve had in Albuquerque. We were surprised we hadn’t had this place before but it’s tucked away and a bit hidden off of the main road. There’s not too much seating but we had no trouble getting seating for a group of 6 right away at dinner time!

The service was amazing! Everyone was super sweet and so nice I felt so at home and was so taken care of. The food is incredible. Very flavorful, well balanced, and perfectly spicy. We had the larb Chicken and while different than what I was expecting, it was very good. The green curry though was my very favorite thing we ate. Highly recommend if you're in the area. And they are open on Christmas

Loved this place! Had the Tom Yum soup and the yellow curry with tofu lunch special and the tempura appetizer. All dishes were flavorful and reasonably priced. Only gripe is I would’ve liked more of the yellow curry and the potato to be cooked soft.

They have more options than most, although it's best to have it pickup/delivered order than to dine in their seats are leather FYI.

The food was good, the place smells slightly of grease trap, our server got perturbed when we asked for two to-go boxes. She forgot to charge for two Thai teas that were $5.50 for 3 sips and I did pay for, then when I looked at my charges she gave herself 4 extra dollars on the tip!

I haven't eaten here in a while as they closed the one in Santa Fe (please bring it back). If you come here, the creamy 'chicken' is seriously the best thing in the world. Order that, and a Thai iced tea, any your mouth and stomach will be delighted. I want to try everything else in the menu, but I can't deprive myself if the creamy chicken. The Pad Thai is also delish.

Food was too salty. I ordered the orange vegan chicken. It was edible but the sauce or crust needs to be reworked. Way too much salt, not enough sweetness. Rebuild the recipe please.

Take precautions when eating here three people got food poisoning on 9/28/24. I called to inform them of the situation the person who took our order did not believe me! I eat the grand tempura which I got sick for 6 days now. Please stay safe! We will never eat there again.

Food is absolutely incredible. So much flavor and consistently delicious. The staff are so friendly as well.

I would just recommend to double-check larger take-out orders to ensure your order is correct and complete. Three times we have either had incorrect protein on a dish or a missing product.

Today’s visit has just made this Pad Thai my favorite Pad Thai. It’s the sauce and veggies that make it superior to the others I’ve had in town. The portion was ultra generous as well.

I am not a vegan, and this was my first time to a vegan restaurant. I was positively surprised by the quality and taste of the food.
Probably not going to change my lifestyle after this visit, but I will return for sure simply because I enjoyed it so much.

I go regularly and enjoy their meals. My favorite is the yellow curry plate which comes with rice and salad. Pot of ginger tea to top it off. Gluten free with freshy roll.

I wish this restaurant was in my hometown. All the food was delicious. So many vegan options! I definitely will drive to Albuquerque just to eat there again! The Tom Yum (mushroom) soup, pad thai, spring rolls and ginger tea were tasty. It was a tastebud overload.

Pad Thai was very greasy, noodles were broken into bits, I asked for “Thai Hot” and was given a small portion of dried red chilies on the side when my dish arrived, with the server commenting, ‘Thai Hot’ and chuckling. Fun atmosphere though! I won’t return, will continue to support the Nob Hill location instead.

My favorite restaurant in ABQ. My wife and I always hit this place up. Since it's all vegan, there is no worries of cross contamination.

I always get the veg curry with tofu. I like super spicy curry but what it lacks in heat units is made up with mouth watering flavor.

We get the spring rolls too and they are fine but we go for the curry and pad thai.

Love the banana chocolate chip rolls too.

We almost always order food to take with us for the next day since we live 2 hours away.

Employees are a bit quiet but professional.

We will keep coming back.

I have eaten here before and the sauce was so sweet but still pretty good. Today i asked if they could make it less sweet and instead it was SOOO salty. Could only eat 1/4 of it before my tongue literally hurt from the salt. Probably the saltiest food I’ve ever eaten. Wasted $40. Won’t be back even though thai vegan is so cute and I love the concept.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for about the last 10 years. Even after moving out of state, my family and I still come here when we visit. I would recommend the Pad Thai if you’re not sure what to get. It is delicious!

Wish we had a vegan place like this in Las Cruces. Even my meat eating husband loves this place. Definitely get the crispy fried chicken appetizer.

We’ve been coming here for two years and this time we were so disappointed. They over charge for everything, the food is not nearly as good as before, and they skimp on items they deem expensive (mushrooms) and basically fill your plate with onions and cabbage. Won’t be returning.

I left a 5 star review after my first time here, and ate here every time I was in ABQ. I haven't been in the town in years and was looking forward to my visit, but never again. I was denied entry to the restroom and given the "it's broken" excuse. I didn't believe it for a second, but if it was true that's quite unhygienic to still be open serving food. Either way Thai vegan won't see me or any of my money ever again.

This used to be my favorite vegan restaurant but the last couple of times I've gone it's just not as good as it use to be. The dining area was uncomfortably cold and once the servers brought our food we never saw them again. Freshy rolls were a wad of lettuce and two small dry soy chicken chunks. The red curry was tasty, but was mostly onions with only a few small protein chunks. I don't know what happened -- it makes me sad. They just didn't seem to care any more.

I do appreciate the vegan choices but this last time left me yearning for the good ole days. Restaurant was very cold, portions have shrinkflated.

We finally give up on this place every time we place a to go order they get it wrong and then we sit there waiting for the rest of our order, and the other part of our order gets incredibly cold.

The food was so good and refreshing. I ordered the red curry (mild) and it was some of the best Thai curry I’ve ever had. Who would have thought for a little hole in the wall place in Albuquerque. Excited to come back and try more of the menu. Lastly, great deal for the dinner combo (salad and spring rolls included).

Just tried last night ordered the chow mein with soy pepper steak yall so good that I had to call them and make sure they did not give me real steak. It's safe to say I'm going back tonight to try something new.

I love this place it's super yummy and they can make it spicy for you, It's a great place for families and they have high chairs.

Wow! Order this through UberEats and the food was so fresh and delicious. We rried the orange chicken, the fresh rolls, the fried rice with soy chicken, the chow mein noodles and the peanut sauce!! All of it was so good!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem recently, and it made my day. In fact it made my whole week!
Thai Vegan has a special feel to it, unassuming from the outside, but as soon as you approach the front door, you can feel the positive energy sparkling from within.

The dining room is beautifully decorated with tons of visual stimulation (for those of us with ADHD). The young woman Who helped me was kind and professional, and the food was amazing.

Generous portions of fresh, healthy food. I got the lunch special with green curry and it was stellar. Reasonably priced and easy-going, this is probably my new favorite restaurant in Albuquerque.

I’ve eaten at probably 50 Thai restaurants all over the country and this is my favorite. I don’t live in Albuquerque but I make it a point to go there whenever I am in town. Both of their locations are delish.

The food was incredibly delicious. I had the yellow curry with brown rice, along with an iced latte. Not only was this “primo” dining, it was %100 vegan! The atmosphere is very relaxing, and elegant/casual. Because it is friendly, though, I did not feel out of place in my jeans and t-shirt $ athletic shoes.

The food here is delicious, the servers are always kind and attentive, and the restaurant itself is consistently clean and comfortable. This place is one of our favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. All for a reasonable price!

Visiting from out of state, good food. The name eludes it is vegan restaurant but they also make dishes with animal meats.

I used to love this place. It has changed. I've even given ti a several second chances. They failed to observe dietary restrictions and allergies multiple times and the food tastes like rancid oil. There are lots of better options.

This is a cute little place with a lot of charm in a strip mall off Osuna in the NE Heights.

We both got the “chicken” larb to go. It was my first experience with larb, and I had looked online at how the dish is usually prepared. Traditionally, and as other Thai restaurants in Albuquerque, larb is usually a ground meat mixture.

Thai Vegan’s larb had cuts of soy “meat”, then large chunks of slightly steamed or raw veggies with a bit of lettuce. The description is “S12 - Larb Chicken Salad. $14.95. Selected soy meat tossed in lime juice, chili, red onion, carrot, cilantro, and parched rice on a bed of salad.”

I enjoyed the flavors of the lime juice and chili with the fresh vegetables. Our larb did not come with the parched rice, and there were only a very few small pieces of lettuce. The amount of onion was very high. I’m still interested in trying a traditional larb at another Thai restaurant, but wouldn’t get this selection again from Thai Vegan.

The restaurant was charming and the service friendly. They also have a consistently high rating, so I’d try Thai Vegan again and select another dish.

Good everything

We were a big family coming in and the waiters were so friendly and accommodating. Many of the family members are new to the Thai cuisine and they gave us great recommendations and even taught my family how to use chopsticks. Food was amazing here as it was one of the best Thai food I have ever had. If you are thinking of this place then look no further as I highly recommend going.

The pineapple fried rice was packed and made to perfection, not greasy or burnt, thus bursting with flavor. Fair price for size of entree. Friendly customer service and warm ambience.

My family went here for lunch recently and found the food amazing. I had the spicy noodles with "beef" and really loved it, so flavorful and pleasing to the eyes. My daughter enjoyed her curry, I was surprised she let me try it. The atmosphere was very pleasant which put the icing on the cake as it were. Highly recommend this restaurant

We love this place!! Tried it on a whim one time and we've been coming back since. So so so so yummy, such a fun atmosphere, and oddly attentive staff. We've loved everything we've tried so far. My favourite part is that despite being really satisfying, the food doesn't leave you feeling all heavy and greasy and gross. Definitely would recommend!

Placed a takeout order for the red curry and the spicy noodles, both with soy chicken. Holy moly that food was absolutely amazing. Both dishes came carefully packaged so the sauces didn't mix with the salad. A lot of times it's hard to find authentic flavors at vegan restaurants but this place did an incredible job. Highly recommend vegans and non vegans check this place out.

What a great experience I had here. Excellent food and service. Don’t let this vegan restaurant fool you with its imitation meats. They’re super realistic and hard to differentiate from the real thing.

The crispy chicken was phenomenal and the green curry with purple rice in the shape of a heart was a nice touch.

Really solid thai food

SOOOO many options! I ordered a Thai tea and it was perfect! Usually vegan Thai teas are kinda watery, but this one was amazing!

I got the yellow curry with tofu and it had the perfect portion of veggies to go along with the tofu. The golden tofu appetizer was a win for everyone at the table, too! Don't skip this place!

First time at a vegan place. Since it's Lent, I couldn't eat meat and I hate seafood, so decided to try this place. I Had the padthai to compare it to regular ones. It was awesome. The flavors were great and I even enjoyed the soy chicken. The spring roll was a little odd, to me, but not bad.
I would definitely come back here again and try other meals.

My husband and I are traveling cross country. We’re vegan and always on the hunt for quality flavor and ingredients. Thai Vegan hits both marks!

We ordered the fresh summer rolls, green curry and a take on beef -n- broccoli where the restaurant substituted texturized soy protein.

ALL DELICIOUS! The curry had loads of flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The broccoli dish was extremely tasty and clean. It came with a sort of broth sauce so it was very light. The rolls contained a bit of TSP but also fresh herbs.

Definitely worth checking it out whether you live in the area or are just passing through. 😋

A true hidden gem, I'm not vegan and I love this place. The tofu chicken texture is better than real chicken. The fried spring rolls and yellow curry with tofu chicken are my favorite. Very nice/classy inside and usually 15ish min wait for pick up orders.

The food was ok but the atmosphere was terrible. The staff was making so much noise with their mop buckets and cleaning supplies I couldn’t even hear my friend talking. It’s like it was an inconvenience for them to have us dining there. I do not recommend.
