First time eating here and most of the food was absolutely delicious!
So the dumplings felt store bought and were a little burned, but the Entrees we're so yummy it was amazing! They were very generous in ingredients and flavor. 🍜 I don't live in Alamo, but I want to go back just for the food here.
The atmosphere could use a bit of improvement, but the service was great and everyone was very friendly. Very much recommend. 🤗
We both got terrible watery diarrhea from this place. My boyfriend got mild and I got medium spicy. Mild did not even taste any spicy, but he still got watery diarrhea a few hours after we ate. I got diarrhea the next morning (12hr after I ate) and it lasted for two days.
Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - Dinner for Two with Green Curry with pork at mild and Pineapple Fried Rice with pork at mild. The green curry was mostly bamboo shoots and green curry paste. You don’t really get the aroma for the coconut or basil and there was barely any bell peppers. It was very one dimensional flavor that was mostly just spicy. It’s a small portion of curry and TINY portion of rice so we did have to get additional food after.
The fried rice was disappointing as well since it was very salty and the rice was a bit mushy. The pineapple and slices of cucumbers were very necessary to offset the saltiness but it was still overwhelming. Flavor profile was one dimensional again of just salty. The two jar (maraschino) cherry was a bit confusing and didn’t fit the dish.
The Appetizer Sampler: the vegetarian spring roll was decent with a nice fry on the outside and packed with veggies on the inside. Not much flavor by itself, but there are multiple sauces you can try with and the texture was good. The chicken wings were very salty on the outside and dry on the inside. The fried wontons with pork filling…. Well, the sampler doesn’t specifically say so it could be just fried empty wontons since that’s what we think we got. One of the pieces had a tiny piece of protein but the others were empty. It was also fried to death
Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. The front door has an obnoxious buzz that goes off ever time it opens. While the decorations are themed, the restaurant does feel messy as there are things everywhere. The restaurant does seem older as there are water stains on the ceiling tile and very harsh white light. A TV was in the corner with a sports game on but no music
Service: 5/5 - she was super nice and friendly and gave us multiple recommendations on what to get. She was attentive while she dealt with multiple customers and a pick up order at the same time
Value for price: 1/5 - First, the menu on their website is out of date so add $2-4 for every dish. Bad and expensive food makes this a no go for us
Good food! Excellent service! I couldn’t remember my servers name, but she was great. Chicken Pad Thai was good!
This place was terrible. I ordered Tom Yum which tasted like tomato soup, and the chicken was rubbery and bland. I asked for chili oil because there was NO spice in the soup, and the chili oil tasted literally like plain oil. My brother ordered the Pad Thai and there was no tamarind flavor and again, NO spice. There wasn’t even a hint of spice even with the chili oil. The dumplings were the generic frozen ones. I would not consider this Thai food at all.
First two times in past we have gone was very good. We loved it. This time it was awful! My Meat had rank taste, and gravy very watery?, gray color and no flavor. The rice looked dirty and over cooked. My husband's dish not any better. Honestly it all looked like slop. Sorry, but it was awful and so sad to say, because we had really enjoyed this place before now. What has happened here? Is the real cook gone?
This place is great! I wish they delivered with Uber Eats though! Hopefully, one day they will. ❤️
Best dinner in town
Luv Karl and Kim owners

The best Thai restaurant in town! Try the red curry with chicken or the pad thai. The owners are also so sweet. Definitely recommend! 🩷
I've had way better
This place was terrible. I ordered Tom Yum which tasted like tomato soup, and the chicken was rubbery and bland. Food is great however the last few times that we’ve tried to come in around 6:30-6:50, we are told they are closing. Where on this page it says they hey close at 730 and the actual webpage says 8:30. I guess neither are true.
Nope, save your money. The food was awful 😖
We were really hopeful that this would be our local Thai place. Sadly, we didn't have a great experience for our first visit. Our order was wrong, and it looked like some of the ingredients were kind of old.
Closed at 6:50, was instantly informed upon walking in the door
Don't miss out to try this restaurant. Rice noodles soup wont let you down!
We hadn’t been to Thai Cuisine for a few years and stopped for lunch. Our waitress was friendly and very accommodating. We had the vegetarian Pad Thai and both egg and hot sour soups. Everything was excellent. The chef made our taste buds smile and we'll be returning customers. :-) :-)
The ginger beef was delicious! Also loved the vegetable pineapple fried rice. Great service on the to-go order.
The flavor of the dishes was disappointingly bland, making it difficult to understand why this restaurant has a rating of 4.3.
To make matters worse, when I decided to order takeout, they requested a tip for the to-go order, despite the fact that they did not provide any cutlery or utensils.
Overall, I cannot recommend this Thai restaurant based on my experience. I hope they take customer feedback into consideration and make improvements to their flavor profiles.
A JEWEL IN THE DESERT
Last place I expected to have great Thai food. The portions (which in many places are too small) are just right and prices are fair. And, the waitress, Kathleen, is the nicest server in the Southwest.
Excellent 👍
This is my go to place for Asian cuisine so far. The choices and food quality is consistent. Everyone is friendly and happy which says a lot about the business. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is definitely worth stopping in and getting a quality meal at a decent price.
The only thing Asian about this restaurant is the name. The food was unsatisfactory. I got the pepper steak, and there was no flavor. I will never eat here, and I do not recommend this place. Do t waste your hard earned money here.
I don't like giving bad reviews, but if you're a restaurant owner, and your restaurant caters to Asian, Italian, Mediterranean, or whatever food your restaurant serves, make sure that the cooks know how to cook that type of food.
I did not like it. Service was good.
So disgusting we couldn't eat it!! Paid for everything after only taking one bite!
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!
Super yummy food. We are vegan and had great options to eat there. Very quick as well. Great portions
Good food and service. The hostess was polite and attentive. We will return in the future.
No amount of heat can add flavor to remarkably bland food. I have tried their food 3 times in 4 years and I am always disappointed. The first 2 times the food was fresh and the proportions generous. The food doesn't seem as fresh and generous now. And it remains bland. The menu describes interesting dishes with tasty sauces. Instead it's boring bland and seems sauceless. Adding heat, chile oil, sweet and sour sauce, and soy sauce makes it more interesting, but it is hard to add flavor after cooking.
I have had flavorful Thai food. Don't know what going on here.
Service Was Very Good, Taste Of Water Was Terrible , Thai Tea Was VERY BLAND TASTING, ENTRÉE BLAND , VERY HOT AND HUMID INSIDE RESTAURANT NO AIR CIRCULATION
Always good, not great. Chicken overcooked sauce on pad thai and tom yum very good
Superb service, the food was great too, but I was particularly delighted by the great service.
A delightful place to eat with wonderful service and great food.
I have to be brutally honest. It was the Worst Thai Food I have ever gotten. I should have left when I saw the cook was not Thai. Not even close to Authentic Thai food. The rice noodles were horrible undercooked. I was excited to have Thai, only to be severely disappointed, completely waste of money. $40 for inedible disgusting food.
Good, fresh Asian cuisine at a fair price. Friendly/professional staff. Their Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice are my favorites.
What a great bunch of people who work here. We arrived late at the restaurant almost 10-15 mins before the time of closing. They had started shutting down the kitchen but looking at our tired faces after a long day of travel, they made an exception for us and gave us a take out.
The warmth of comfort Thai food and people's goodness is all that we needed after a tiring day like that.
Thank you so much.
This place NEVER, EVER, DISAPOINTS. Always great. They will make almost their entire menu Vegetarian or Vegan.
Very good find with delicious food and friendly service.
Best flavor!! Great Service! Great Prices!
They asked us to write down 18% tips in front of them, treating you like prisoners. I think this is really inappropriate.
Awesome in all aspects. Excellent Hot & Sour soup! Perfect for vegetarian as meat can be omitted.
Sadly, I disappointed with my meal. Ordered yellow curry and what I received was not the yellow curry I have had at other Thai restaurants. The sauce was white, grainy, tasteless and watered down. Mixed it several times with a spoon to make sure. Maybe because I ordered 2 hours before closing.
Good food and Great service. Happy I found this place and I have ate at alot of Thai places even in Thailand. I will be back !

I'm a huge Thai food lover and so maybe my expectations were too high. The food tasted old and had very little flavor which is not how Thai food is at all. Not to mention I had the runs for the whole next day which is a factor of BAD food not Thai food.
The price wasn't bad for the portion of food and the service was nice but you go for the food not for the service lol.
This restaurant caters to people who want vaguely Asian food and not Thai food so if that's your thing I'd just bit a Chinese buffet tbh.
First time eating here and most of the food was absolutely delicious!

The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful!
Great service, great food!
I'm Thai and I think this place is not bad for New Mexico/West Texas. Pad Thai actually tastes more like it's from Thailand than Austin. I really hate overly saucy Pad Thai and this was good.
Excellent FOOD
Ordered chicken fried rice with shrimp, no chicken hmmm, spring rolls yummy
Excellent food, quite authentic. Servings always require a doggy bag😉
This place is great! The food is authentic and even the appetizers are made in house. I’ll come back for sure next time I am in the area.
This is amazing food and the service is fast I brought my disable daughter and they treat her so nice. This is an amazing place I would definitely be coming back.
Not great, not terrible. Started by ordering Thai Tea for both my wife and I and it had a weird chalky texture we weren't wild about.
Next, we ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and got egg rolls instead that had been cooked from frozen and were still cold in the middle. Those were super disappointing since actual spring rolls are cold, wrapped in rice paper and have rice noodles, cucumber, cilantro, sometimes carrots, and pork or shrimp for meat if desired. That item needs to be corrected on the menu, it is misleading.
The green curry with shrimp I ordered was genuinely not bad, if a bit thin. But the flavor was good and I didn't have big complaints. My wife liked her panang curry well enough, but she wasn't impressed in the end.
Overall, it's fine. Make a couple corrections and this place would be better. We might go back some day, but there's no rush.
I ordered the spicy Thai chicken fried rice and an order of spring rolls it was the best I e had in a really long Tim rice was cooked plenty of chicken and the sweet and sour sauce is so good with the rolls plus the service was great super nice staff well worth the visit
Love thiss place Katy was excellent and gave great tips on the veggy and vigan plates. The food was great the ambiance was peaceful even with a crying child behind us. Our first time there and even the owner came to see if we were okay.
Food was great. Kathleen was excellent and attended to our needs very efficiently.
Way better than you would expect in a town this size. Stop by and try it, you won't regret it.
This Thai restaurant has an extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Our waitress was attentive and we were greeted immediately upon entry. My panang curry wasn't as coconutty or thick as I'm used to, but the food was good. I tried egg drop soup for the first time and really loved it. The cup of soda is ENORMOUS. They aren't stingy with the drinks or refills!
Great, friendly place
Great staff, delicious food, and good value! Our group tried a variety (chicken satay, wings, panang curry, pad see ew, and thai beef salad) and enjoyed all of it! Unexpected and amazing option if you're in the area.
Don't go by reviews rating; food was very low average, husband wide try their best but they need a good cook.. for spice level they sprinkle different raw red chillies..
Food is good but...
The last two times we have ordered to go they have given us two different size containers for the curry without any sort of explanation. Why is one curry half the size of the other, yet costs the same? Other people I have talked to seemingly haven't had this issue yet so they are definitely providing incredibly inconsistent portions. If it's going to be a gamble if we get what we paid for or not we will probably just stop going here.
Take out was timely.
Good food. Appreciated the drive thru option to pickup and pay for carry out orders
Very kind man answered the phone and the wait was only 15 minutes for take out. According to online menus and generous overestimating based on the photos being a little old, what we ordered should have been $30 MAX, but it was $39. That was quite a blow. We got chicken panang curry, which was super spicy when we asked for mild, was very thin consistency, and was very floral tasting. They gave us one small scoop of rice with it, about 1/4 of what we usually get at other places. The shrimp pad Thai was soggy and tasted off. I can’t place it, but it just didn’t taste right. The mango sticky rice was decent, but wasn’t very sweet and actually made me gag on my third bite so I had to be done early. Based on reviews we thought it would be reliably good but we were quite disappointed.
I’m really sad to say we didn’t have a great experience here. Maybe we just ordered the wrong stuff, but the curry only tasted like lemongrass… I couldn’t taste anything else. Pad Thai was good though. Mango sticky rice not as sweet as other places, but mango was pretty good.
Honestly, if youve had any kind of decent Thai food in your life, this will not meet any of your expectations. Idk how this town gets decent reviews for very subpar food, but some things were undercooked while others were very overcooked. I still haven't found a restaraunt in this town that is halfway decent.
Clean restaurant. Food cooked fresh. Nice portions. Reasonable prices. Military and senior discounts. Short waiting time from order to eating. Good restaraunt
Food was tasty but the quality of the rice was disappointing. The พริกน้ำปลา came with dried instead of fresh chilies.
A very long waiting time. Don’t dine in because they took too long to prepare for the to-go orders. It took an hour to get our main course. Same thing for other tables.
No one apologized for the delay. when we asked for an estimation, they just said I don’t know. I then asked if our food is currently being prepared, again they just said i don’t know and told us to talk to the owner. Then we said if the food is not being prepared, we’d like to leave for another place. The waitress finally agreed to check with the kitchen and commented us “rude rude rude”. We are the party that was starving and wasting time. They are complaining and we still have to pay and tip.
Great service! Food fantastic, not much in Alamogordo so we were happy to find this place!!
The pot stickers are the best and very reasonably priced.
Love the spring rolls 😊
Fresh fast food great service
Not just great food... but also the food is delightful. Family run business that gives that a warm and fuzzy feeling. Food was great and atmosphere is unique and adorable. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Food was very good lots of food for the price egg drop soup was so good and creamy. The waitress were super sweet and polite best service recommend to eat there
Good food, good service, midrange prices I will visit again
Nice restaurant
Great food
BEST Pad Thai in town. The chef is amazing! And service is great.
Delicious, excellent service
Great Thai food. I enjoyed curry, and my friends enjoyed the Pad Thai. Friendly servers and a relaxed atmosphere.
I love this place. It's not fancy or the absolute best Thai I've ever had, but it is very good. I had the Tom khah (I'm not sure on spelling). It was delicious. Sour and slightly creamy. Perfectly spiced. I also got red curry, panang curry, and vegetable delight to go as I live 45 miles away. Now I can get a Thai fix all week. The staff and owners are friendly and the prices are in line with most of the Thai places I have gone to.
Awesome place!
Quality Thai food, with good service, at a reasonable price.
Always great food and service.
Sooo good! Absolutely worth going!!
As a Texan we are spoiled with our Asain cuisine.far better than I anticipated! Service was fast and friendly.
Wonderful Thai food!
Not particularly great curb appeal, but a great place to eat (or get take-out). Menu has selections from all the different categories of Thai cuisine, and is cooked to your choice of spiciness for "mild" to "Thai hot." Friendly, welcoming staff, and Thai decorations that range from fine art to kitchen.
The food is consistently good, a locally owned family business that prides itself in serving up quality. The spring rolls are marvelous. While we always carry out, I notice that the dining room is always orderly and clean. They will customize your orders for heat as well as content. My wife has praised the tofu and I have ordered beef, pork, chicken and shrimp. Alway fresh ingredients. If you become a regular diner, you will become acquainted with service that is welcoming and eager to please. Priced right, this is a win-win establishment.
Good people work here. Kim is an exceptional cook and well worth the trip. Support local business!
Excellent pad thai. Highly recommend the sticky rice with mango for dessert.
We haven't had good Thai food in about 18 months, since we moved to NM. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place so close to home. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back again.
We Love the food and Miss Kim is the kindest Lady Best Thai in Alamogordo
Awesome menu, great tasting
I found the food too sweet. Service is nice and quick though. Big plus.
Good food lil pricey
Not a Jalapeno in sight!!! Delish!!
Delicious food! The staff is helpful and friendly; we’ll definitely be back!
Haven't tried much on their menu, but the Pad Thai was delicious!
Great food wonderful service and amazing people everyone should try it out . ❤️❤️❤️
Food on point! I've had the pineapple fried rice & yellow curry. Both items did not disappoint 👏 👍
Good food, great friendly staff
As good as you can expect in the middle of nowhere I suppose!
The best I've had in Alamo!
Excellent fare quickly and beautifully served. Referred by a local. Yum!
Great food and service! I had the Vegetable Pad Thai and would recommend it.
Fantastic food! I always order the chicken cashew dish.
Delicious food and fast service
Their menu is extensive. I have been there twice and was impressed with their food both times. Their green curry filled my place with its fragrance, and it tasted just as good. Their hot and sour soup did have some heat. I was offered a senior discount. I was looking for fish sauce with chilies, and the owner said it sounded like something his wife prepares for home consumption. He offered to check with her, but I told him that could wait until my next visit, which will happen soon. Service exceeded my expectations.
Wow the Ladna was great. Super saucy and hit the spot! Spring rolls we're also on point so I ordered more.
Great food good prices
Great authentic Thai cuisine prices good too😁
Mr. Carl is just the nicest and friendliest. Their food is excellent and never a long wait.
Good price, large portions.
Best fried rice in town hands down!
Excellent meal. Best Thai food ever!
One of best Thai food I had. Very nice staff.
Very good experience with eating here. The food wasn’t the best but still very enjoyable!
We love Thai Cuisine! Usually we order takeout, but on this night we decided to dine in. The environment was warm and inviting and our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered Veggie Delight with Shrimp (Thai Hot) and it was absolutely delicious! Just enough spice to satisfy my cravings, the veggies were crisp, and the brown sauce was flavorful. My fiance ordered Pepper Steak (Medium Spice) and thought it, too, was delicious though a little spicy for his taste buds. The owner offers a ten percent discount to military members and senior citizens, which is wonderful! We've never been disappointed in Thai Cuisine and will be back again!
Very tasty food at good prices. Great friendly and quick service. Ordered 2 main dishes, a drink and a dessert (their mango sticky rice is very good) and it was under $40.
Good food with friendly employees.
The food was amazing! My friends and I were very pleased with the service and will be coming back to try some other dishes.
Fast courteous service and great food.
Tried their hot and sour soup - different but the best I have had. Solid chicken pad thia. All 6 of us really enjoyed our meal.
Service pleasant food good price reasonable
Good food, spicy if you order the medium.
Very good authentic Thai food in a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend for good Thai food.
VERY authentic spices, from one who lived in Bangkok. All white meat chicken. Nice decor. Try their new yellow curry: it's not on the menu, but it's posted near the entrance. Delicious! Sit in the 2nd dining room (no TV).
Best Thaifood in town
Super Yummy
Very good food very friendly people very nice service
Very good and authentic Thai food.
Food was good and nice sized portions.
Good curry
Good quality food. Reasonable price. Good service.
Was delicous
Nice people and can’t complain about the service. We had the Pad Thai and it looked Thai but it was weirdly flavorless. The taste was below average even for NM standards. Spice level was mild compared to other similar places.
Very nice place, quiet, good food. What else!?! :D
