Baan Ta Thai is such a cozy spot if you're craving delicious Thai food! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I tried the red curry with tofu, and it was perfect—especially on a chilly day. The Thai Iced Tea was also incredible.

The staff were so friendly and attentive. I was also really happy they had a to-go option. I’m a big fan of mango sticky rice, and being able to take some home was perfect! My friend took home some chocolate lava cake with ice cream, which she said was really good. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!

The food didn't come hot, but came ready to eat/ it came warm. The spicy here is good for spice lovers! Challenging myself to the limit at this place! The music was very calming and it wasn't too loud or too quiet.
The place is very hygienic and pretty modern.
The bathroom was very amazing, and was as clean as ever.
I love this place and strongly recommend it.

Their Thai tea is rich and refreshing, and the appetizer combo is a must-try, offering a variety of delicious bites. I’m so excited to have this family-owned spot in the neighborhood. I love the food and the owner is nice. The soup was so flavorful, pad see ew was so delicious. Vanilla fried ice cream was great and sticky rice with mango, so amazing. The service was great. I LOVE THIS PLACE

I was excited to see a new Thai restaurant had opened in South River and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai takeout. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, vibrant, with nice decor. This place did not disappoint! The Pad Thai was fresh & authentic and the taste was EXCELLENT!!! I will definitely will be coming back and plan on dining in as well. 😊

We ate the combo appetizer for 2, Tom Yum and Tom Ka soup, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai. Excellent food and service. We will be back soon!

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. As a thai man myself the food is extremely authentic. Appetizers were amazing and entrees were just as good.

I ordered take out food, pai Thai and drunken noodles. Food is horrible. Drunken noodles over cooked, lumped together, taste like plain boiled pasta. This is not real Thai food taste but wanna be Thai dish without real taste of what the dish should be. I ordered food here based on the review but I don’t know why and how this place has a good review. The person who took my order was very nice. When I went to pick up the food, the restaurant looked clean and decent for the small town like South River. I would not order food from here again. My Top Ramen noodles more tasty then this food per my son and I agree. $0.50 Ramen noodles has better taste then this $15 dish.

The place is vibrant and the staff are friendly. I ordered a Pad Thai and their Thai ice tea and it was great. The Pad Thai was cooked perfectly and well balanced and the Thai ice tea wasn’t too sweet which I liked. I’ll definitely come back next time.

Really good Thai food. From their sampler appetizer to their entrees: grilled salmon, pork chop and basil chicken, everything was delicious. Don’t forget the thai iced tea, until now I am dreaming about it. Will definitely come back.
