I ordered the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) and asked to get it "Thai Hot" but it wasn't authentic Thai spice. They basically just covered the noodle in chili flakes, which ended up just being crunchy.

This place is one of the most authentic Thai food restaurants I’ve ever been to. Great and quality food and excellent service. The owner told us that they import most of ingredients from Thailand and it makes the food even more Authentic. I’m so glad I found this place. My husband and I will definitely return back.

Horrible, I enjoyed my food while eating however made another order and it was incorrect.. I called to let make her aware of her mistake instead she wanted to argue and over talk me.. no matter what if a company can't apologize they will no longer get my business

The food is good. But they tend to raise the spice level too much during take-outs. Maybe they need to buy a better phone for taking order or they need to listen better. Store is small and a little bit of a mess in the back.

Absolutely outstanding. I have only ever had takeout (I cannot judge anything else besides the food quality). I've been to Thailand about 10 times (probably close to half a year in total both in Bangkok and the southern resort areas) and this is the best Thai food I have had in the US except maybe for a spot or two in Manhattan and Queens. Maybe- it's close. One cautionary note- their spice levels are relative to the dish (not some absolute scale where you have to order everything extra hot just to taste it). Medium is the spice level it should be. So for a normally spicy dish medium is going to be knock your socks off hot (if you aren't used to Thai spicy), whereas for a normally mild dish medium is going to be very (appropriately) mild.

Great Halal Thai option. Dine in or take out both are always good.
Tom Kha soup is always recommended with any other dish.

FINALLY good drunken noodles in NJ! The sauce is PERFECT and the medium spice is great. Got takeout tonight and can't wait to have it more in the future.

My family and I enjoyed the food. The Pad Cashew Nuts was delicious! My kids liked their chicken skewers, Thai fried rice, bubble tea and lemonade. Nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and great customer service.

The food tastes amazing! I ate red curry with tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Was very impressed! 4 stars was given because it didn’t have too much tofu (5 pieces) and the rice quantity is too little. I finished all the rice and still had 1/3 the curry left. For the taste I would definitely recommend and come back!

I ordered chef’s recommended Pad Cha Talan and requested the server to swap squid and mussels with chicken and to make it a spice level of medium. I confirmed that the dish would be dry. And so I placed the order. When I got home and started eating, my mouth burnt cause the spice level was more than 10/10. Also, there were no string beans and the dish was liquidy. I had to discard the entire dish after 2 bites cause the heat was way too much. The only flavor the dish had was that of chillies. Very unfortunate cause I went looking at reviews and ended up throwing it away and starving! Hopefully the restaurant manager or owner reads this and refunds my money.

This place is definitely a solid 3 stars. We got to go from here abd everything was pretty decent. The portion size was decent but wished they weren't so stingy with the rice. Thai food goes so well with those white jasmine rice! More rice should be given for sure.

We had the early bird special yellow curry with tofu. This came with a appetizer, drink and a dessert. The curry decent but thought it wasn't as flavorful as other Thai places. We picked the taro custard and that was delicious! They forgot our spring rolls with our to go order which was very unfortunate.

Basil udon with chicken. A bit on the sweeter side but very yum. Loads of flavor.

Pad Kha Prow with beef. Very garlicky and basilly. Just how I like it. However a bit sweet and the beef was too dry.

Overall this is a solid spot. I wouldn't mind coming here to try more items

They serve old food

My husband went to pickup the food for our order, the floor was wet since it was a rainy day and he slipped upon entering. He just had a knee surgery, and the lady saw him slip and ignored him not even bothering to make sure that he was ok. No signs of a wet floor or anything. This is our first time ordering from this restaurant, and for this reason only we will never get food from here again.

They provide halal chicken, duck & beef. You need to mention them. And the owner is very friendly.

The basil fried rice is amazing here. Food always tastes fresh and the service is great. Also recommend the red curry (if you can handle a kick) and the curry puffs.

Ordered with Uber Eats & food arrived so quickly! We got pad see ew & pad Thai, both were delicious & it came with plenty of food so we have extra for lunch tomorrow. My sister orders from them frequently & loves their soups - service is always quick for her as well! We will definitely be returning customers!

Food is decent. Had the panang curry with shrimp. Asked for a bit more than normal spicy and it came back inedible. When I complained she blamed me lol. Ambience is decent and homey. They do have a halal sign but they do serve pig on the menu.

Authentic Authentic Authentic!!!! Ordered from here on door dash on a whim and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Udon Noodles very spicy and were off the charts. They definitely have found a new customer. Prices are exactly where they should be and the portions were generous. I’m really looking forward to ordering again.

Solid good Thai food. Ordered via GH, came quickly, tasted great, kids loved it too. Dumplings and spring rolls we ordered were NOT some frozen bought premade stuff and they tasted great too.

They are good but they serve both halal and non halal together like i don't wanna go to any restaurants where they serve pork and halal together though they guarantee us that they cook everything in a different utensil and different place so we ate their padthai and vege sauté with jasmin rice ....food was 7 on 10
A bit salty but good....pad thai was kinda sweet and vege saute was salty though we enjoyed.
But for the pork thing we are not gonna visit again for sure.

We had:

Curry puffs, which were very flavourful with a lovely hand-made dipping sauce. They were perfectly crispy not greasy at all.

Fried red snapper with chilli oil. The fish was cut off the bone and served in a crispy version of its self. The fish was really well cooked. Perfectly crispy. Deliciously spicy and sweet. Under the fish was a nice amount of broccoli and carrots and more spicy-sweet sauce.

Tom Yum Soup, which was classic, perfectly balanced, with lots of protein. We had chicken. Came with a nice amount of chunky fresh mushrooms. Beautiful blast of sour umami. Really good example of this soup.

Pineapple fried rice. Very delicate and was super tasty. It had a good amount of plump shrimp, pineapple and some tomatoes.

Ordered grub hub from them. I don’t know if the skimp out on 3rd party orders but I barely got any food. The drinks that came with the lunch special was maybe 6 oz at best and took too sips to drink. The Thai coffee was okay the Thai tea was pretty good. The bubble tea had no ice and was warm( I put ice and was okay but the bubbles were mush like pudding) The food was mediocre. Saw previous reviews that it was the best authentic Thai food in NJ. Idk if I would want to call this authentic. For these prices(I understand grub hub charges extra) I expected so much more. Not sure if it was a one time thing but I’m very disappointed and will prob be not returning. Only redeeming item was the tom yum soup which was great. Plenty good Thai places around…honestly.

Very authentic Thai restaurant - there is also special menu on weekends. Not your typical pad thai/curry takeout establishment.

I specifically asked the waitress that I did not want any sugar or anything sweet added to the dish, I wanted it spicy. Then when it was served, it was very sweet, not just a little sweet. But the waitress kept telling me that nothing sweet was added and not willing to fix it. The person I was with, tried it, and also confirmed it was sweet. Very disappointed.

The most disgusting Thai Food we ever had, we asked her to make very mild green curry and still she gave us super spicy curry. They used those round frozen carrots in my pad Thai. I usually eat Thai in purpose of consume as much as fresh vegetables I can but this lady fed me all stale frozen veggies.

Way too overpriced for the quantity of food. $8 for a soup that's the size of a $4 soup at another restaurant. I didn't even get gold flakes. I thought it came with rice at least but no.

You have to spend around $30/person for lunch to feel full. About $20 max in other restaurants with similar quality, and dine-in experience.

Gave it to me in Styrofoam too. Correction: I meant they served on plastic plates with different colors. On the bright side, it felt like my kitchen.

I like the atmosphere, the decor of the restaurant, and the cutlery; it's very calm and cozy. I tried green curry to-go. Came back the next day for the early dinner specials (4-8 pm) to try the thai dumplings, curry puffs, panang curry, taro custard, and iced coffee. There was nothing that I didn't like; everything was good. 😊

Very disappointed. All these high ratings don't make any sense. Their version of hot is nothing but heat, no flavor. Crab fried rice looked and tasted like it was canned crab. It should be removed from the menu. Tiger steak was like eating a pepper flavored sponge.

The only place I trust in NJ! Real authentic Thai food. I normally go to Queens in Manhattan to get authentic Thai food, I don’t think I need to go that far anymore.

It wasn't bad. But it's not worth $16, when other restaurants charge $11. So three stars instead of four.

Food was amazing! Comparable to my favorite thai places in NYC. If you want thai food in the area, definitely order from here! The green curry, red curry, pad see ew, thai dumplings & thai spring rolls were all incredible! (if you don’t like spicy stuff be sure to put it in the notes when ordering or tell them not to make it spicy!!)

Exactly what Paterson was missing!! My favorite is the shrimp rolls and pineapple fried rice, as well as the Jasmine green tea. The soup noodles from this place is amazing and if I had to bet, very authentic! (I have never been to Thailand.) The food is unique and so much more flavorful and umami than all the other Thai restaurants in northern Jersey that I've tried (and some in NYC). It changed my perception of Thai food! Khanom Jeen Nam Nglao and Khao Soi are highly recommended!! The drumstick was huge for the Khao Soi! See picture. Staff is super bubbly and super friendly. <3 We got complimentary drinks every time we ordered and these were unique and delicious as well! Love this place!

First time ordering delivery from here and we will be back! My husband had the chicken wings and crab fried rice (medium). He enjoyed them and I had a taste to confirm they were yummy. The star was my green curry dish with beef (very hot). A lot of places say things are spicy but they never meet my spice expectations. This was HOT!!! But in the best way. I could still enjoy the delicious flavors but it really brought the heat. Great experience.

Soup noodle dish liquid and solid components are separate, very big plus for the care. Good quality of ingredients based on color, texture, and flavor. When that Khao soi soup hit my mouth, I could not stop. Better than Tuco's first hit of Heisenberg Blue. The larb was herbaceous and inviting. You'd think bite after bite of flavor would get boring but it's not. I cannot wait to try this place dining in because if the takeout slaps this hard, the dine-in must be heaven.

Found this tiny gem in South Paterson and the restaurant did not disappoint! This is the only authentic Thai resto in the North Jersey area! Parking might be tough but it is worth it.

I ordered delivery from them recently and it was delicious! My husband and I ordered the pad Thai, pad see ew, and Thai iced tea and it was all awesome and the food still came piping hot. They even sent us a small green tea to try that was very good as well. We would definitely order from them again.

The Green Curry is sensational, the Pad Thai was flavorful and delicious and the spring rolls were fantastic. Definitely a great find!
