Our first introduction to New Jersey brought us to ordering Thai cuisine takeaway after a roam around Princeton University.
From what I gathered, Thai Lotus can get busy and might explain the delay in receiving our order. Despite us reaching nearly 40 minutes after placing our order. But still we were eager to taste from a range of food that had been ordered.
Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha Soup, Fish Curry, Shrimp starters and Spring Rolls as well as Chicken Pad Thai and Basil Ginger Chicken to go with it!
Needless to say I enjoyed all of what I tasted and had additional servings as the quantity of portions were great and perfect for a family gathering.
It was all well packed, easy to enjoy and packed full of flavour.
Legend has it the owner himself migrated from Thailand many years ago and has now established a name for himself with this place. This was obvious to us given the crowds we experienced while picking up the food!
Overall, a good place when you are in the mood for Thai and in the Jersey Area.

The food was good in taste though not very authentic tastes (and this is not a negative feedback). That spice levels in general were milder than expected. Beef satay was good, skip on Chicken in Pandan Leaves (it was ok taste and quantity wise). Rest everything we ordered was good - Drunken Noodles, Garlic Shrimp and Thai Chili Chicken. The service was fast and the server/manager was very polite.

Very disappointed at the amount of chicken and size of the noodles. Absolutely ridiculous, was bland, low quality soggy vegetables, with minimal amounts of chicken not even a single full cut. There is much better options around the area.

THE BEST Thai I’ve ever had by far. Unsuspecting gem in a small strip mall. Had the pad see ew with chicken and garlic chicken with baby corn. Flavorful, plentiful, and HOT! Spice level preference offered; had both mild and it had a palatable kick. Free parking. Quick, kind, smiling, friendly service. And ladies are half off Wednesday?? HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic experience, dined in on our way back to NYC. Service was absolutely phenomenal by both the gentleman taking our order and the server bringing our food. Julian, thank you for the phenomenal service and to the Desi gentleman who graciously hosted and seated us I can’t thank you enough for such a smashing job. Extremely average. The food was not inedible but it lacked flavor and authenticity. Weirdly it also lacked the classic thai heat. Not sure if they use fish sauce since I see it is a halal place, but it definitely lacked heat and that classic salty umami flavor that we love in thai food. Very average and meh pad thai and pad kee mao. Tom yum needed fish sauce or more soy as a substitute if they dont use fish sauce. Was not impressed with the dessert. Mango mousse with lychee was a mousse with a slice of one canned lychee (not a typo, they couldnt even give a whole lychee...) stuck in the middle and mango pulp from a can poured on top. It sounded and looked better than it ended up tasting. Was hoping for a fresh mango flavor and some fresh lychee. Did not really get either. The wait staff were really nice, and the decor was nice.

The best food. I ever eat in my life

There was this code. We put in the lunch order for pickup and then the woman declined giving us the order because she said no one uses this code ever and it’s only for dine in. Nowhere online did it say it’s for dine in only, and we were able to process the order online. She said she already put in the system for full price and can’t honor the discount. We left without our lunch.

The staff took back the food because I wouldn’t pay more than what the receipt said. However on her iPad, the discounted receipt and pricing popped up. Regardless if it’s a system issue on the restaurant’s side, it’s also a customer service issue of demanding the customer to pay more than what was issued. Doesn’t seem logical.. the staff member’s actions should be held accountable

Great Thai food, highly recommend the Chiang Mai noodles and the curries. Service was a bit slow though - there didn't seem to be enough servers and it was a busy, Saturday night.

Dinner times are quite busy, and service takes more time than normal. Food was very good and it was a very positive experience.

This is definitely my top Thai spot to order from going forward. Only negative is they don’t offer lunch specials at this time. Portion sizes are perfect for a 200 pound guy.

Nice cozy restaurant in a small plaza. We had the beef satay which I do not recommend. The beef was so tough and chewy, I gave up eating it.
The grilled quails with ginger coconut rice was great. Definitely give this a try. Rice was very flavorful and quails were grilled perfectly. The pad thai was average, a bit too sweet for me. Be sure to flip to last page on the menu for chef speciality.

Placed an order, requested me to pick it up in 30 minutes, went for pick up and told to wait for 10 minutes due to new year eve rush, I was called after 20 minutes and they realized they have misplaced my order and told me they have not started working on it. My order was delivered after a painful wait of 40 minutes at the restaurant.

Went there for lunch. As usual great food and courteous fast service. We had two Thai ladies right next to us who couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Quite a remarkable compliment coming from somone who is familiar with authentic Thai food.

This is an all around incredible restaurant! This is obviously a great place for takeout but my party personally dined in and were very happy we did. The service is awesome and they have a very nice lady that works there. The selection of food is vast and my group was all vegetarian and they have more than enough options for vegetarians. The flavors were so good and the food was just spicy enough for a great time but not a hurt mouth. This is a great place to try if ever given the chance or if you just want to take out some really good Thai food. One disclaimer is on the more expensive side each meal being around $16-$20 but don't at all worry about still being hungry afterwards as the portions are more than what you would need. In conclusion a great little place to try and highly recommend dining in or taking out.

The food is not authentic Thai food. The taste is not of authentic Thai cuisine whether north/south. It tasted like a fusion of more Indian and less Thai taste. I am guessing the 4/5 star reviews are fake digital marketing reviews. Aroma Thai at rt. 27 has better tasting Thai food although the portion sizes are small there. I ordered medium spice on all my dishes and they gave me what tasted like mild. Try Diamond Thai or Four Seasons. They offer better tasting food for the money you pay.

Chicken spring rolls were pretty good as was the sauce they were served with. The Pad See Ew isn’t Pad See Ew. Noodles are wrong, and the flavor was just off.

Quantity is less for a high price and space is too small for dine-in. Service is pretty slow here.

This restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. I ordered the Drunken Noodles and Broccoli & Mushrooms in Garlic Ginger Sauce. I like spicy so I ordered my Drunken Noodles spicy. Both dishes were good and I would eat from here again.

So I saw them on Grub Hub and a coupon on one of the Clippers magazine or Flyer. I figured I would give them a try. I ordered a dish to be spicy and another one extremely spicy. I food was cooked very well, I liked the crunchiness of the vegetable's but the food itself didn't have much flavor or spicy. Then there wasn't enough 🍚 kinda stingy. Anyway I would try again with something different but not at the moment.

The food here is not that great. Went here to try a new Thai place that I haven’t been before and can confidently say I won’t be back. I ordered the paper shrimp appetizer which did not taste fresh and the drunken noodles for my main which was below average at best. The only good thing about this place is the staff was nice

This place has flavorful Thai food. I’m a huge fan of their Tom Yum soup (sea food). last week We tried their Crab fried rice , coconut shrimp curry n fish curry , both tasted so good. We usually do take out. Will be ordering other items from their menu soon. The best part is , it’s only 2 mins drive from my place!

Delightful place with great service. We had a large group of people who went for dinner recently and were surprised by the quality of food and friendliness of service (Mr. Muzammil was very attentive and kind). We ordered a variety of dishes and desserts. Almost all of them were on point. It was a good meal in a restaurant after a while. They also had space for prayer outside which was very generous and a huge plus for us. Highly recommend and we hope to come back!

Ordered drunken noodles, black pepper chicken, and Hakka noodles. The black pepper chicken was pretty good but chewy. The medium spicy level is just right for me, some places are hit or miss with spiciness. Otherwise had a good meal, would consider returning.

Visited on a weekend on our way up to my sister's for lunch. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely hostess/server. We started off with crispy spring rolls, and spicy Tom Yum soup. The spring rolls were crispy and stuffed with fresh vegetables. The Tom Yum Soup was absolutely remarkable, perfectly spiced. The entrees we chosen were spicy drunken noodles with ground chicken, they were out this world and Black pepper chicken which was spectacular! It's a must try dish. Definitely check out Thai Lotus! Highly Recommended!

You could notice that the chefs were the type to be proud of their work as the food didn't have anything that made you fill up fast or made its quantity look bigger and any other shortcuts generally kitchens might have.

We enter the resteraunt at 9:20. The closing time clearly states 10. Food last time I was here was terrible but I let it go. But this was just the icing in the cake. There is no point in showing a closing time for a specific hour but then not serve anyone after a certain time. Just cause you have lazy staff who just wants to close as soon as possible. Whoever is the manager needs to recheck their staff and ensure they are working at correct hours and not rudely kick out willing to pay customers. Wouldn’t even allow takeout

On a busy evening yesterday, one of my order was misplaced and noticed once after I reach home. I called the restaurant and with no time, front desk manager apologized and delivered my correct order to my home. Really appreciate the way you treat the customers and wish you all the very best for your business...

Got take out last night and was very disappointed. Ordered online and had to wait as order wasn’t ready, not a problem as they were busy.

Got vegetable pad Thai (mild) and grilled shrimp (medium). The pad Thai was bland and tasteless. Just because it’s mild it shouldn’t be tasteless. Also all the noodles were in pieces and broken, or in clumps. The shrimp were good but the curried rice was terrible. Also got vegetable spring rolls which we just ok. $50 and not worth it, tasteless bland food.

Ordered a pad thai and pan nang curry, and thai iced tea to go. Order was ready 20 minutes later than quoted and had to go looking for someone in order to get food, gratuity was added automatically without asking. Thai iced tea lacked milk, pad thai had no flavor and various vegetables not usually found in pad thai. Curry was fine. Would not order from here again.

It seems to run well as well since it’s always busy whether it’s dine in or pick up. Go-tos would be pineapple fried rice and chicken pad thai.

I felt the urge to write a review on this place. I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before but there was something about this restaurant that compelled me to. This restaurant was perfect. I was looking for a good Thai place to celebrate my birthday and it was exactly what I was looking for. The environment was so calm and relaxing. The decorations made it seem like we were in Thailand itself. The service was amazing as they gave us suggestions on what we should order and checked in on us every once in a while. The food came to us almost instantaneously. Even though there were many people in the restaurant, it wasn’t noisy. It was very peaceful. The food was amazing. It was like no Thai place I have eaten in before. It was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend eating here. I have decided that I am going to come here often because I feel like I am missing out because I had to make some tough choices on what to order. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out.

In our very first visit we enjoyed a lot, the place is very nicely and tastefully decorated. They offer a series of food choices and all are freshly made - more importantly it's 💯 percent HALAL.

The staffs and owner are very caring and friendly. We asked their recommendation about choosing items and received a great help. We really loved the foods especially the green Salmon curry was mind blowing 😋

I ordered the chicken satay and Tom yum soup. Satay was decent and edible. The soup was bland, with no flavor, no Tom yum. More like chicken and mushrooms in hot water.

I wasn’t well, so I needed that soup. Other than giving my order to someone else and then making me wait for 2 hours, it was not worth it. I will recommend the owners/management look into their soups before delivery. I haven’t had anything this bad called “Tom Yum” soup in the three continents that I have lived in. Won’t be ordering again from here.
