Authentic Thai food in Hoboken. Every dish at T Thai is a delectable creation crafted with the utmost care and the highest quality ingredients we can find. Our menu has something for everyone!
I've been going to this restaurant for years, and they've never failed me. Their food is fantastic; always fresh & made from natural ingredients to deliver healthy Asian cuisine. I usually order the fried calamari with a salmon that includes an orange salad. It's a perfect amount to be full, and not leave anything left over.
If you have peanut allergies, be wary, because they state that they are not peanut free. Fortunately, they do encourage guests to inform them of any changes that need to be made to accommodate their health.
The customer service is warm & friendly, however, their establishment is small compared to most places. It's common to have employees from food delivery services stopping by to pick up things for their own customers; this can be a bit bothersome to people trying to eat. This place is best for an outing with a friend or two, not a huge party.
Regardless, T Thai sells consistently great food, so you can be assured that you can stop by and have a meal that's filling and good for you.
Best Thai food I've ever had! Service is super fast, food is tasty, and their lunch menu is well-priced. Portions are more than enough to fill you. This restaurant is so good, even Taylor Swift sings about it in Anti-Hero: "At T-Thai, everybody agrees!"
Quite honestly… This was the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered the Green curry with tofu.. They charged me $3 extra for that and i got maybe 5 or 6 pieces of tiny mushrooms. There was no thickness or flavor to the curry itself.. It was very watery and the tofu seemed undercooked (if that’s even possible).
My friend was a strict vegan and they were accommodating. The only entree he could have was the veggie fried rice which he said tasted very subpar too.
The service was decent at least but the food is far from desirable!
Also… They charge a 3.99% service charge if you use a credit card to pay for your meal so have cash handy. Luckily my friend and I both had cash at hand.
We were taking a leisurely stroll from JC to Hoboken on a recent Saturday and thought of giving this Thai restaurant a try. It was a small place with several tables and about half full. Service was friendly.
We ordered Pad Thai (my litmus test of a Thai restaurant) and Tom Yum noodle soup to share. Their Pad Thai noodles were thin and round, not the flat rice noodles that we liked and expected. It was also overcooked but the flavor was ok. Tom Yum noodle soup with seafood was average. It had squid and shrimp, but no scallops or any veggies (mushroom, tomato) typical of the dish. We did finish both dishes and that was more than I could say about the three Thai restaurants we had tried near JC downtown.
Best Thai place in the area, full stop.
Was pleasantly surprised actually since I hadn’t been able to find a good Thai spot in Hoboken since moving from the city. The spicy noodle and Tom kha soup were really tasty.
Will come back forsure
Ordered spicy fried rice with tofu & vegetarian spring roll as a take out. NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF TOFU WAS PRESENT in the fried rice. 🤷♂️
Had to finish it either way.
My Duck Pad Thai was so sour. I didnt taste any other flavor than its sourness. I told the waitress and all she said she knew about it and that was how it was cooked. I would expect her to at least warn me that the dish was supposed to be sour so I could have made better decision.
The best Thai food in town!
The food is okay but tiny tiny tiny servings and thus, not good value for money. Unfortunately Hoboken has limited offerings for Thai food.

Love this small place. Food and service are good.
Used to be the best years ago. They fell off hard. $17 and barely any meat plus the noodles and sauce changed. Step ya game up

They have the best lunch special!! Glass noodles and pad Thai is great!
Stopped here for lunch and will return. The panang curry was outstanding. Pad Thai was very good. Highly recommend!
Very cheap and tasty Thai cuisine.
Used to eat there on a weekly basis as they were close to my office, and very fast for preparing the order.
Very nice staff and it always a pleasure to eat lunch there or take out.
Very good food. Both of the soups were delicious. The mango salad was great. We really enjoyed the cashew shrimp dish.
Got take out. It was terrible. The Thai curry is soo watery and flavor-less. It’s probably the worst Thai curry I’ve eaten.
Little gem of a Thai restaurant close to the Hoboken path. The Tom kha soup is my absolute favorite there, along with any of the curry’s. Portion sizes are great too.
I just ordered from them and I’m very impressed. Thai iced tea was great and strong. Chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice were massive portions. Not cheap but worth the price for the quantity and quality. I will be coming back here many more times.
We ordered delivery via their website and everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely order from them again. I only wish they had Thai names for the dishes.
Lunch special is good ..best price too.
This is the second time we went to T Thai and the food was again delicious. The authentic recipes are made with perfections. Service is fast and professional. We had green curry chicken and peanut curry beef. Highly recommended. We'll go again soon.
We ordered take out and the order was ready in half the time they said - great service! I’ve tried Tom yum soup at at least 5 spots and FINALLY found a real Tom yum here! It tastes authentic! The coconut rice was more mild than I would’ve liked. I wouldn’t order that again but overall we liked this spot! Good Thai tea also.
Best Thai in Hoboken+Jersey City, buy a mile. Easy to get to. Friendly staff, fairly attentive. Dishes are very well calibrated. Clearly a chef with a good pallet and skills. Place been around forever. Best Pad Thai around.
Very delicious and spicy 🌶️ really food from Thailand ✌🏻
I'll do the good first: The fried bananas were good and the coconut rice!
We've been searching for decent chicken satay since Satay Malaysian closed. this is NOT it. Watery peanut sauce, zero spice and I can't handle a lot of spice so if I'm saying it's not spicy it's lacking flavor. Just overall disappointed and I won't tell you how much money I wasted on this.
Food tastes so bad… fake Thai food
This place has great food and nice workers.

Some of employees are rude.
T Thai serves the best Spicy Noodles in Hoboken and probably in NJ. They put so many fresh vegetables and the spice and noodles marry together in perfection. My husband and I order spicy noodles at all different Thai spots and this is still my fave. All the curry’s here are bomb as well. Worth every penny.
Very bad place and they have a man who treats people rudely
Good food, prices are reasonable. The place is small, but cozy enough, with 3-4 small tables inside.
I've been going to this restaurant for years, and they've never failed me. Their food is fantastic; always fresh & made from natural ingredients to deliver healthy Asian cuisine. This is our favorite Thai Restaurant. My wife says she wants the Thai Basil to be her last meal. It is extremely good and travels well for delivery.
**NOTE** The first website that comes up when you google this place is a Grubhub placeholder site. You can order direct through the website on google maps.
We got takeout - the flavors were ok - but the meat was strange and mushy and the curry seemed weirdly slimy - like it had additives to thicken it. It was like everything was very old.
Curry puffs and steamed dumplings are my fav! Looking for delish Thai ice tea then this is your place to go to! Fun fact, they are a pork free establishment! Very fresh and tasty food here! Looking to try Thai food other than traditional Pad Thai, ask for Pad See Ew, you won't be disappointed!
We always do take out and decided to come in. It always travels very well but it was even better fresh from the kitchen!
Favorite Thai in the area. Delicious curries, and the Tom Kha soup literally gives me life any time I’m under the weather.
chicken pad thai was amazing
curry puffs were way too good. wish i ordered more
green curry w squid was also great
loved the thai iced tea.
ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN
LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great value Thai food for the area.
Food was decent but the portion is surprisingly small… their curry is only in a smaller translucent soup container. All other Thai places I’ve been to used the larger container for curry.
Ordered pad Thai. Quality was really bad. Not good at all.
Food is great but service not the best we ever had The short Asian lady my son asked for the restroom she said no sorry I don’t have bathroom what kind of hospitality is that!!!!
Great food and service!
Great and friendly servers. They have the best Pad Thai! 😊
Went here today. It's quaint with seating for max maybe 20 people. The waitress was really energetic and friendly. Ordered the chili chicken with brown rice and drunken noodles. We both enjoyed our dishes. Reasonably priced and fresh food. Can't beat that combination. A+++.
Pad Thai was disgusting, flavorless and bland. Noodles were pale white, tofu was raw and flavorless everything was definitely under seasoned
Best Pai Thai I ever had
This place is one of my favorite Thai places ever. The food is amazing!
The food was not good.
Had two main courses: the spicy noodles and the basil chili. Just what the doctor ordered. Also, the papaya salad is simple and delicious. Highly recommend
Service was terrible and slow and she requested for tips with everyone
We used to be a fan of this place.
Taste wise it is still very good.
But the Quantity they provide for delivery is ridiculous.
For $30, you already finished a Pad Thai, Panang Curry and you’re not even 50% full.
It feels really bad to give such a review, but definitely not worth it!
Great food and service. All about the Spicy noodle
The duck pad Thai has basically no sauce.
We ordered the Pad Thai for taking out. The food is great and large portion. The serving stuff is really nice and friendly.
Such great food and kind hospitality. Highly recommend
The pad thai is really good & super flavorful, the photos don’t do it justice
I love t Thai and order here at least twice a month. As per most places, ordering pick up or eating in will be better then delivery. Enjoy 🥰🥰
Went to pick up, the guy with bandana was a racist, didnt let me enter the restaurant, said go out and wait. Then he asked me to show an order confirmation, i said i will have to log back in to your portal and check, but i had the payment confirmation text with place’s name and pickup time on it.
He went on to follow the link in that text and opened my credit card app haha. Then the lady from the back came and asked if i am a customer, she was quick to hand me the food. I mean no ma’am, maybe i am not a customer. Some order on my name and paid by me just randomly populated in your kitchen.
Dont know how the food is though. I safely deposited it in the trash can at the corner as soon as i stepped out.
I usually don’t leave comments to restaurant. Just came out from this restaurant, I had a piece of nail in the noodle. I am very confident it is nail. The waitress firstly told me it’s the tip of bean, and she realized it’s not right. She brought it back to the kitchen, and said it is curry. Anyway, I paid the noodle and left without finishing it because I am disgusted with it. Sorry for not posting photos here, she brought it to kitchen. I should take some photos before she did it. Never come back to this place again.
I ordered Duck Pad Thai via Ubereats. I am allergic to peanuts and bean sprouts but I’ve definitely had a better looking and tasting pad Thai than this. I’m basically eating noodles with no sauce! Where’s the greens and eggs? How disappointing. Will not order from them again.
I personally love the pad Thai but nothing here goes wrong. You'll be in for a great but inexpensive treat.
The pad Thai wasn’t good. It tasted watery and left a bad taste in my mouth. I ended up feeling nauseous. Also the veggie rolls were tiny and didn’t have much inside. Upside: the shrimp was big and good.
I've had many Pad Thais in Hoboken but personally think they make it the best here.
I like this place, I love their Duck Pad Thai (see pic). I’ve been eating pad thais around and this one is great. I must say that inside the restaurant is a little daye but I don’t really care, the food is good and the staff is very friendly. Don’t forget to taste the lyche juice too!
Delicious, fresh, & big portions! My only complaint is that the pad thai is a little too sweet for my liking but I would still order it
Horrible food, Pad Thai stinks like rotten chicken and green curry is no good as well.
The place is so dirty, the food also is untasty
Their takeout is cheap for a reason…. The worst Pad Thai I’ve ever had… I was served with a pile of sour noodles with almost no eggs and absolutely non other flavors except sour. I’ve had my fair share of good Thai food and I know what I’m talking about.
Very cute place. Great affordable food. Vegetarian options available as well. Great service and many options available. Must try thai iced tea. Probably the best Thai food in Hoboken.
Food tastes good but the amount of protein (chicken) included in the pad Thai was disappointing
Received expired grey chicken in my order
I have been going to this place for last 3 years.. Service is always good. Taste used to be amazing pre covid but recently couple of times I felt the taste was little less awesome. It was still pretty good but it used to be best.. Hopefully, it will be best again!!! I would definitely recommend trying here. Lots of vegetarian options with tofu. I love the red curry and iced thai tea..
Good food, and good service
T Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in Hoboken. Whenever I order Thai food, this is the place i would recommend.
The tofu is soft and has weird texture. Food was meh.
The food was very tasty and good portion for reasonable prices.!
The food was low quality and I didn't like the taste nor the texture of it. The noodles had orange flavor to them that with combinations with overuse of peanuts gave the food a rather not pleasant taste. I've been to many Thai restaurants and I generally love Thai foods but this restaurant by far is my least favorite one!
None of us were full after finishing up and one of my friends ended up getting pizza from a nearby place.
I don't recommend this place.
Great for an office lunch! Came in at 12:20 and left at 12:50
Everything reasonably priced and portioned, except perhaps for the curry puffs, 2 for $5. However they do also give a small eggroll and salad as a free appetizer
Basil beef was well spiced
Service was fast and courteous
This place has the best spicy fried rice ever!!!! Also their massaman and spring rolls are also great but I cannot stop thinking about their spicy fried rice!!!!!
Wonderful service, wonderful food. The noddles, beef and veggies were fresh and flavorful. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. I definitely am going to go again. I had the Beef Drunken Noddles and a Thai Tea. Definitely will be a repeater, I want to try some coconut curry next.
The portions are great and the food is amazing. Very nice staff members
Fresh authentic Thai food, very nice staff. Will return!
Meal portion is too small considering the price.. It wasn't enough for me.
It’s a great place but fewer options for vegetarians. Their fried ice creams are really good
We purchased 3 meals and none was good. Massaman curry was missing the peanuts; pad thai was too sweet and it looked like spaghetti instead of the broader noodles (with the nice brown color); glass noodle dish didn't have enough noodles, just mostly eggs etc. Overall, I feel the preparation was rushed. We love Thai food but this place needs to do better.
Five Stars all the Way !
During our recent visit to Hoboken we went to this restaurant. We sat outside as it was a bit dark inside. The food was Excellent.
We ordered the following,
- Tom Yum Soup
- Tom Yum Noodle Soup
- Shrimp Pad Thai
- Shrimp Fried Rice
All items were delicious. The best.
The waitress was very courteous & the order came in quickly.
Tasty food & good service !!
This place is more appropriate for delivery/take-out. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Recommended!
Best Thai takeout in Hoboken. Really fast and my go to for Green or Penang curry. They give a dollar discount for cash orders, and make sure to order the extra portion size!
They do not care about their tofu at all!! Just dump a whole slab of jiggly tofu in the curry and done. Won’t order from here ever again.
We ordered Panang curry with tofu and noodles and broccoli. The food arrived fairly quickly but now I know why. They didn’t bother to cook or even cut the tofu. The panang curry literally had two blocks of tofu in it. Not going to order ever again, won’t recommend for delivery
Most dishes can't be made vegetarian, BUT the vegetarian duck is really good
Just recently moved to Hoboken and found this gem of a restaurant! Best Thai food I’ve had in a while…great flavours, fresh ingredients, and very reasonable prices. Serving staff are very pleasant and friendly to top it all of! Excited to come back and try some more dishes😊
Still the best Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup in the area! Fast service and can’t complain about the affordable prices!
This place is phenomenal. All the food is packed with flavor. Big portions. Everything is done well. Great service too. May be the best Thai restaurant in Jersey City/Hoboken!
Always good with the lunch specials!
The chef specials are also delicious.
I had the Chicken Pad Thai, it was delicious.
The BEST. T Thai never disappoints. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the fresh herbs and green onions must be added seconds before the dishes are served because they're never wilted. I love the green curry, tom kha chicken soup, house salad with peanut dressing, and chicken curry noodle soup.
Glad my friend knew about this place. I was hankering for Thai food and this place was just the thing I needed. A good array on the menu, and the green curry was delicious! Loaded with meat and veggies and authentic thai flavor. The rest of the menu looks good enough that I'm most likely going there again to go through it. Service is courteous and surprisingly prompt. If you want genuine Thai food that tastes great and leaves you more than satisfied, you must come here.
Not recommended for vegetarians
Food was completely burnt and it was smelling something non vegetarian god knows what it was
never going to order from this restaurant
WORST FOR VEGETARIANS
I ordered the food from DoorDash and it was completely burnt. I am a vegetarian and the food smell was so bad it was giving smell of non veg. Not sure if they even wash utensils before cooking from non veg to veg
never going to order from this restaurant
Delicious thai good, my new go to place for thai food. Good service too
Best Thai food!!! Love this place
We ordered this via delivery. The food came fairly quick. I think it was ok for a first time thing, but I wouldn't order from here again.
Fried Shrimp Rolls: It is basically shrimp that is wrapped in an egg roll wrapper. It tasted very good, very simple snack, but the sauce was the kicker here, it was very good sauce. The Plum sauce~
Tom Yum Soups: The soup was fine, but compared to other Tom Yum's and my own, it isn't sour enough for my palette, but it may be good for others. Its a good soup, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Green Curry: The green curry was good, it was spicy, but not very spicy compared to other green curry. What made is so bad was the rice, it was like it was leftover for a day or two. It was not soft in any way and too hard for my taste. The rice plays a big part of the dish, so it kind of ruined the meal a bit.
Pineapple Chicken: This dish was ok, but not as good as I thought it would be. It tasted a bit dry and bland, which is interesting because fried rice is usually oily and full of random tastes. I felt that each bite I took was lacking in taste, the mixture was not as good as it should have been.
Grilled Shrimp: The shrimp was a bit overcooked, a bit hard to chew. It tasted good though, but not as good as it should been if it was softer.
Great bare bones place that always gets the job done.
I’ve had T Thai a few times now since living in Hoboken and it’s my favorite of the city’s offerings. The food is always tasty, prices are reasonable, and delivery is fairly quick.
Most recently I ordered the Duck Pad Thai, House Salad with peanut dressing, and spring rolls. The duck was tender, sweet, and well worth the $3 extra (from chicken, for example). The pad Thai was savory and flavorful; the leftover reheat wasn’t great I must admit, as it emitted a strong vinegary odor. But night of, it was delicious. The salad was everything I like in a side salad, and the dressing is fantastic. And what Thai food meal is complete without crispy spring rolls?
In a previous order I’ve tried the spicy noodles which are also very good. Admittedly I’ve not experimented with all that Hoboken has to offer in terms of Thai food, but I rank T Thai at the top thus far. Looking forward to trying more from their menu soon.
I love this Thai place- a few minutes further to get to than other Thai restaurants but it’s worth it. The pad Thai is very tasty and the potions are large, and I would also highly recommend the green curry. It’s spicy, so you’d have to have a tolerance for spice but the rice helps to balance it out. The Thai iced tea is also a great way to balance the heat.
It's the best Thai in Hoboken. They are consistent and fast.
Duck Pineapple Curry is amazing. Green Curry is amazing. Beautiful blend of flavors. Great place I would highly recommend it
I'm obsessed with this place and order from here probably 2 times a week. At the same time, I think they have certain dishes where they completely rock it and other dishes which are a total disaster.
The place itself is tiny and gives you hole in the wall vibes, but it's cozy and comfy to eat there. In the winters, there is a draft so don't sit near the door.
The thai iced tea is delicious! The appetizers are pretty standard. I like the dumplings, but it would be nice if it came with more than 4.
Now the mains, the pad thai can be tasty, but it's definitely not up to par with other thai restaurants. On the other hand, their drunken noodles are very well done. When it comes to sautee dishes, the pad cashew is delicious, but the garlic sauce and basil sauce are kinda meh. The massamam curry and red curry are my favorite, but the jungle curry and some of the others are a hard pass.
I'm not really sure why they've perfected some dishes and others are totally blah, but give the place a shot. There can be some dishes you find which are really tasty!
I ordered this from Uber Eats but I will definitely order directly from them next time. The packaging was neat and secure. I ordered Massaman Curry with Shrimp, Veggie Spring Rolls and Tom Kha Soup. All of it was delicious!! The order of spring rolls comes with only 3 but, the dipping sauce is surprisingly good. This will mostly likely become my go-to Thai place!
The pad Thai is so sweet and barely has flavors. Basil curry also had basic flavor. In general there are way better Thai places in the area.
Horrible delivery scheme.
The driver didn’t follow the directions to ring our bell and leave the items in the lobby as instructed.
Instead, he elected to stay in his car and call us to come downstairs to meet him.
We explained the contact-free process, but he adamantly refused to ring the bell and leave the food in our lobby.
When we finally came down, he said he had been waiting for 30 minutes. We asked why didn’t he ring the bell as instructed. He wouldn’t respond, but instead, he attempted to hold the food behind his back while he demanded a tip.
Unfortunately, this is not the first tine we’ve ordered from T Thai and the delivery driver has tried to bully us for a suggested tip amount.
Needless to say, our order was ice cold and unappealing.
We understand now that some drivers will not provide contact-less service because they want the opportunity to demand a tip face-to-face.
This is an unacceptable tactic during this crisis.
Good Thai food!
Food was horrible. I ordered pad thai. First it was way too sweet. The shrimp were over cooked and tough. The egg was also overcooked, dark brown and rubbery. It’s been over two years since I’ve had pad Thai imagine my disappointment.
Food was okay. Not memorable.
Do not order food from here.
Reasons
1. They get only half of your order.
2. I ordered green curry , spicy fried rice with side of wings and soup.
I never got fried rice. Curry was disaster. No taste. Actually no curry, only chicken and veggies with zero taste.
Wings were very dry. Honestly it was waste of money.
Food was delivered fresh and hot.
Noodles were chewy, perfect char, and plenty of tofu and broccoli. You get to select chicken, tofu or vegetables for the flat entree price and beef shrimp, etc. can be selected with extra pay.
Fried rolls were a bit small and not much filling for my taste and pineapple fried rice definitely has shrimp paste in it. So, if you don't like shrimp smell/taste, probably not order the pineapple fried rice or ask if it can be taken out. However, it is delicious so do try it!
Massaman curry had plenty of potato and chicken. Definitely give a try if you like it.
Would order again and would recommend it as everything was fresh and pretty good overall.
Ordered from this restaurant for the 1st time. Portions were small for the price paid, like my order of curry puffs only came 2 puffs. Ordered a seafood Tom yum soup entree, had no mushrooms, 2 shrimp and 3 pieces of squid. The flavors were good, but I'm disappointed
Food arrived damaged and leaking.
This placed cancelled an order after an hour wait.
I get they are busy and sometimes things don't work out, but don't send a text saying order accepted and 50 minutes later text again with order cancelled with no explanations. Cancel right away.
Nasty person on the phone:
Placed an order. Never got the food. Would have blamed the driver, but...
Lady on the phone (when I called T Thai) told me she knew my food wasn't getting delivered but didn't care to call the driver or tell me the food was sitting on her table getting cold. Her words, "I don't have time to call you or the driver," She said, if I have an issue about it to leave T Thai a poor review.
I would have left it at blaming the driver, but the T Thai lady's words were aggravating. It's sad to see an establishment get so bloated that they can openly tell a paying customer they don't care or need their business.
The food was excellent. The duck pad Thai was soooo good! Service was very friendly and welcoming. We will be back!
Amazing affordable Thai food. Delicious and authentic, better than anything ive had in manhattan. Its just 13 minutes from midtown via the Path train to Hoboken and walking distance from the train station! THATS FASTER THAN DRIVING!!! My new fav thai spot, lunch was 8.95 including appetizer and main. VEGGIE OPTIONS AVAILABLE. Regular menu is $14-22. Hit me up lets do lunch in hoboken.
Great food, good portion size. Highly recommend their lunch special, it's very reasonable, especially considering NYC area prices. And try the Thai iced tea!
Yummy food, good prices and good service, worth a try
Delicious. Early bird special is amazing
The best!
Good quality Thai food run by a family.
Location - Conveniently locates just a couple of blocks away from the Hoboken PATH station.
Food - Food tastes excellent. It’s not too greasy, not too spicy and the ingredients generally seem to be fresh
Service - it feels like a family run restaurant. The hosts are warm and friendly and treat you well. However, the restaurant seems to be very popular with all the food delivery apps. If you made your way to the restaurant for dinner, you’ll be able to find a table pretty easily but the kitchen can tend to be pretty backed up with all the food delivery orders
The place is clearly popular amongst the local folks in Hoboken
First visit to T Thai and am visit happy with the food and service that I'll be going again. Recommend the Massaman Curry very tasty.
Good food
