First time here food was exquisite and the service was superb. KT answered all our questions and had excellent recommendations. The presentation was wonderful. We had sweet and sour chicken, eggplant basil, and ginger chicken all were delicious. Let me not forget the apps were so good. We were not rushed. I will be back. Excellent service.
This place absolutely blew me away with their style in cooking. From the attentive servers to the true-to-authenticity chefs, the food deserves proper praise. We had our hesitations at first, but the main dishes were made with much passion. Initially I had my doubts when they couldn't take certain requests like adding a fried egg or such on my fried rice, but I actually appreciated that they stayed true to the dish and how it's meant to be eaten. My high compliments to Chef Pithong (I believe that's how it's spelled. Please correct if I'm wrong) for making our Drunken Noodles and Basil Fried Rice. The fried rice was very rich with flavor and a little wet (in terms of sauce and flavor level), and the drunken noodles were extremely done well. The appetizer avocado roll was a bit of a surprise as we thought it would be a fresh roll, but it was a fried spring roll. Our server Amber paid attention to our every need. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes for sure.
I went to this restaurant for the first time last month because it was near my hotel. I ordered Tom Yum soup as an appetizer then pineapple fried rice as the entree. Both were great and the pineapple fried rice is especially delicious! I ate the leftover for my breakfast the next day 😃
I went there on a Tuesday evening, and there was only one other customer there. But they seemed to get a lot of to-go orders because their tablet PC kept ringing loudly (which was actually quite annoying). Other than that, the service was good.
The lunch special is a great deal. The service was great and the food tasted authentic.
I got the drunken noodle and my husband got the red curry which is served with white rice. Both meals came with a small salad with a yummy peanut dressing. We ordered the chive pancakes which were delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. Would definitely be a regular here if I lived nearby.
During my last business trip to Branchburg, New Jersey, I had the pleasure of dining at Savory Thai, a Thai restaurant that left a lasting impression. Lunchtime at this establishment was nothing short of remarkable.
I decided to try the Drunken Noodle and Pad Thai, and I must say, they were among the best Thai dishes I've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a burst of authentic Thai taste.
What added to the overall experience was the excellent service provided by the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and made the meal even more enjoyable.
Savory Thai in the Branchburg area is undoubtedly a gem when it comes to Thai cuisine. If you're in the mood for delicious and authentic Thai food, this is a place that should not be missed. My dining experience there was exceptional, and I can't wait to visit again during my next business trip.
The food was very delicious. But I have a hard time being nickle and dimed. Prices on the menu was not what it was on my bill. Granted it was only .50 cents more but come on! Like I said the food was delicious but the extra .50 cents on my bill left a bad taste in my mouth. Even after saying something, the woman said they haven't updated their menu. Sorry to say, I won't be back! The new server was very nice.
If I could leave no stars I would. WARNING….this place makes VERY spicy food. Even if you put NO STARS, it’s still full of hot chili spice. We ordered pad Thai, Panang curry with shrimp and Red curry with tofu. Extra shrimp was $5 for a small addition. The Panang curry was inedible…zero stars for extra spice and it was on fire. That $16 plus $5 down into the garbage. The red curry was the same. Will NEVER eat here or order take out again.

our first time and we had the lunch specials...food is really delicious and fresh...not heavy on the stomach...price is very reasonable...
Beautiful atmosphere! We got chive pancakes, Pad Kee Mao, Pineapple fried rice, and Eggplant Basil. Very happy with the spicy level (3 is very spicy) and the taste of everything!!! Highly recommend.
Plus staff is super friendly and sweet!
Great service and even better food. Very authentic and tasty Thai food and the best I’ve had in the area. Will definitely be going back.
cozy authentic Thai place with great tasting food and friendly service - Pad Thai is great and the iced tea yummy

Best Thai restaurant near me. Food is so good, from Pad Thai to eggplant basil... Everything is so good. The staff are so friendly and their bathroom is so clean.
I love Thai cuisine, have enjoyed it with my family all my life, and from what I’ve experienced, this is a very poor representation of what it should be. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra few miles to the circle and visit The Thai.
Great atmosphere and service! The food also did not disappoint.
One of the best panaeg curries I've ever had!
The first time I went there when it opened the food was amazing but last week the Pad Thai that I had ordered had absolutely no flavor and was extremely dry . I just couldn’t eat it and was very disappointed, Hope it’s just a one time thing .
Excellent food and excellent service. Our server TK has excellent customer service.
It’s ashame I couldn’t leave negative reviews. Customer service is awful. Never place a to go order! Doesn’t acknowledge you until you scream for them. Awful service.
best red curry in the state. amazing went two days in a row and great app satay and spring rolls and dumplings. love the mango sticky rice too and TK he was amazing service
If you're looking for authentic Thai food, I highly recommend this restaurant! I've ordered takeout several times, and the Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles never disappoint. The flavors are incredible, and the quality is consistently excellent. Definitely a must-try for any Thai food lover!
This is a place where the food quality and the service level were equally impressive. It was recommend that I check out this local gem and it did not disappoint. Had the Drunken Noodle with Chicken and it was quite good. Decent portions and very tasty, although I opted for the non-spicy version. Also, it is rare to get this level of attention. Everyone super friendly and came by regularly to make sure we were happy with our meal. Place is super clean, nice decor and frankly a pleasant surprise when I stepped inside. Highly recommended, hence my 5 star rating. Looking forward to returning to try other entrees and appetizers.
We recently went to Savory Thai, which had a nice interior and great ambiance so we had high hopes. Sadly, the food and service didn’t live up to our expectations.
We started with Roti Masaman, which came with two rotis and a tiny bowl of masaman curry. The curry portion was really small, compared to the rotis. When we asked for a refill, the server downright said no and that we’d have to order a full-size curry for about $17. This seemed a bit much, especially since we had entrees coming. A larger curry portion or an option to pay a bit extra for more curry would have been nice.
We also had Drunken Noodles, which were too salty for my taste. The server offered us hot sauce, which we said yes to, but then he took it away without asking when I was just finishing my meal. That was pretty annoying and unprofessional. It almost seemed like the server was annoyed that we were the only ones there and he had to work. If that’s the case, maybe he should consider a different job.
While the ambiance was great, the average food and poor service mean we won’t be coming back. This was one of the few times I’ve felt this way about a restaurant.
My colleagues and I used to frequent this restaurant for lunch. I have visited alone many times. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the lady informed me that she had to charge an additional 50 cents because my meal only cost 12 dollars. I completely understand this policy. After providing me with the receipt, she requested my signature, which I willingly gave. However, her demeanor suddenly changed as she questioned why I signed without leaving a tip. I have never encountered such a situation at any other restaurant worldwide. Why should I be expected to tip for a small bill? Tips are meant to be given at the discretion of the customer based on satisfaction with the food and service. Why are you pressuring customers to leave a tip? We also work hard for our money. We used to generously tip whenever we visited this restaurant as a group, but that is no longer the case. We have collectively made the decision to cease our visits to this establishment.
Love this food. It’s absolutely delicious.
This Thai restaurant offered an explosion of flavors that tantalized our taste buds. With an extensive selection of vegetarian options available, we indulged in delights such as Roti Masaman, Panang curry, avocado egg rolls, and pad see ew. Every dish surpassed our expectations, delivering a burst of deliciousness with each bite. The staff exemplified exceptional hospitality, attentively catering to our dietary restrictions and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their warmth and willingness to accommodate our needs enhanced our overall enjoyment of the meal. From the rich and creamy curries to the perfectly cooked noodles, every aspect of the dining experience at this establishment left a lasting impression. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat lover, this Thai restaurant offers a culinary adventure that is sure to delight even the most discerning palate. We left feeling satisfied and eager to return for another unforgettable meal.
We loved it so much and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had!!😍
This place is very pretty inside . The owner & staff are very nice . The food was delicious ! We had sweet n sour beef & cashew beef & coconut shrimp as appetizer!;)
First time / definitely recommend & will return ;)
The food was amazing. Our server was fantastic and we can’t wait to go back!
Shrimp basil was the best.
The food was very delicious. But I have a hard time being nickle and dimed. Prices on the menu was not what it was on my bill. Granted it was only .50 cents more but come on! Waited over an hour and placed order over the phone, said it was 25 min, now It gets better at the one hour mark. I asked how much long and they went to the kitchen and asked then to make the food right there and then I wasted an hour and a half waiting at this place. I asked for my money back and left. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
From out of town and just what I was looking for. Beautiful food, excellent service. Go if you can.
Excellent appetizer sampler
The service is fantastic and so is the food!
Amazing food, exceptional service.
Will be eating here often.
Note to people who really like spicy food, ask and they will give you Thai spice levels.
Otherwise "spicy" is American spicy.
This review is on our server. Just being super friendly and chill with an “I gotchu” attitude but no follow through does not a pass. Several items were forgotten and I had to ask again a few items. There were only 3 tables to serve…
The very first thing I asked him was “are there actual Thai chefs in the kitchen?” Yes, from Northern Thailand. Great, because I *just* spent 5 months in Northern Thailand so that seems to match. I asked for Thai level spicy on main dish and mild or no spice on fruit salad. He gave us no spice on both… because he said he saw my father’s hesitancy on spice and wanted the table to be happy- that’s why he brought us powdered spice on the side. 1) I already asked for the spice since the beginning and I am the one ordering, 2) my father is in his mid 70’s and hard of hearing/cognitively slower, 3) it’s my mother’s birthday and 2 out of 3 want Thai spicy. It is not up to the server to make such decisions. Look at the photo - there is a world of difference between the two (the spicier version was comped to us at least but sorry it cost the restaurant a loss of $).
Lastly, I asked for a Khreuang Puang (Thai Condiment Caddy) that is on nearly every single table in Thailand and is the foundation of Thai cuisine. Please ask the kitchen staff because he did not have to know it at all, I said. Of course the server did not provide this. So… the kitchen does not have sugar, fish sauce, vinegar chili, spice powder — the very things they make our dishes with?
Let me state that I regret this mediocre affects the restaurant’s rating based on one server. Their attempt and ambience is clean and food is hearty. Having some “Americanized” flavor is perfectly acceptable for a local business. Anyone working at a culturally specific establishment with all staff of that culture… should allow that culture to be honored and prioritized.
Delicious food, professional and courteous service.

Had the spicy basil fried rice, which was delicious and just the right amount of spice for me. The place looks great and is clean. I'd definitely visit again to try some of the other lunch options!
Great Food
Excellent Service
Calm and warm environment
Hidden gem! So delicious
Great food, service, and ambiance.
Consistently good Thai food!
Excellent first time ordering takeout.
Had the eggplant basil. Was really good but also too saucy
Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly kind and hospitable. Stop looking for a place to eat, just go here and be happy
My elderly mother and I walked in with my two year old son. We asked for a table and a high chair. Which we were then told they do not carry high chairs. What a HUGE disappointment. Why not put a sign that says NO KIDS ALLOWED?! Clearly the owners are not inclusive and do not want your children dining there. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE AND AVOID IF YOU PREFER INCLUSIVE RESTAURANTS!!!!
I used to visit frequently, last 2-3 visits Reception person who service the food is behaving Rudely, he ask me to Give TIP 3 Dollar, if we not given then he will behave rudely and speak badly about culture. This is 2nd time I am facing the situation, he is showing the Image of others who given Tip and bargaining the Tip from everyone. Myself and my colleague went together, he behave rudely and speaks rubbish.
Please to inform the management is Food and Atmosphere is very nice, still there is no crowd in peak lunch time, I feel because of him, everyone denies to choose your Restaurant.
I feel it suppose to be best place for choosing food in that location, but he spoiling everything.
Please discuss and sort out this permanently to avoid future loss in your business.
Thank you
Hands down the best Thai place around and our waiter Angelo always giving exceptional service! Highly recommend.
I always get take out from here. When I opened my drunken noodle dish at home, it literally looked & tasted like it was leftover from the previous day. The sauce was pretty much nonexistent (which means less flavor) & the wide noodles were folded over top of each other & all smashed together. I can eat just about anything within reason, but I threw the whole order in the trash can. I’ve ordered this dish from them many times but recently this dish has been getting progressively worse. The other dish we ordered was good.
Absolutely delicious. First time here and will return.
Love this place! Order weekly for lunch.
The interior is gorgeous & makes you feel great once you step in.
The massaman curry and the panang curry ,Avocado rolls are recommended !
Found the Pad See Ew a bit too sweet and hard in my last order but mango sticky rice made up for it!
Our definite go to for all Thai food cravings!
I ordered once for takeout. It was ok.
Delicious fresh tasting food!! Know what level of spiciness you can handle before you order. Appetizers and main dishes are both fantastic
Always great very good service also
Great authentic Thai food with excellent ambiance and the server who’s name I forget was exceptional. I’ll be coming back here again, great vibes.
My go to thai place - I feel like I've tried every other spot in the area and they really make the best drunken noodles and pad see ew.
Ordered shrimp pad thai was amazing along with the Beef Satays. Waiter was also polite and attentive
Delicious. Excellent quality, good spice.
We will definitely be back soon!
The absolute best Thai Food! Hands down!
Our servers name is Angelo. One of the most gracious, attentive, knowledgeable, professional, engaging, and brilliant servers that we have ever had the fortune of meeting.
Angelo's presentation of the menu and daily specials left us mouth watering and eager to try his recommendations.
The sea bass and garlic sauce melts in your mouth.
The red panang cod fish and jasmine rice were delish on the best level!
Curry puffs and fried chieve wedges that are glutten free, mind you, were the best appetizers!!! Lighter than air.
Decadently fried with no oily residue or aftertaste.
Together with Thai Iced Tea was better than most and not watered down, but rather delicious and well balanced!
Paired with flaming fried ice cream, atop a puree of raspberries was the cherry on the top🌺
A round og applause and compliments to the chef and entire team ✨️🏌🏾♀️
Very clean restaurant. Great seating and pleasant decor, complimentary and non intrusive music.
We are looking forward to our next visit in the foreseeable future.
Thank you, again Angelo for your part in making this visit a pleasant one and treating us with value and 5-Star service.
Really great pad see yu. Great lunch specials that comes with a yummy salad with peanut sauce. I ordered on the phone and it was very quick and great customer service
Very good service and great food !!
Addicted to this place. Everything is so yummy and service is absolutely wonderful.
Had takeout: Pad Se Eew and Drunken noodles. Heat level was appropriate, flavor was right on and feed was made quickly. One of my main concern with Thai food is ordering something that is too sweet. Sauce on Pad Se Eew was well balanced. My coworker wasn’t happy with portion size but he liked the Drunken Noodles.
...some of the best Thai cuisine I have ever experienced!
Some seriously delicious and flavorful Thai food in a space with cute rustic ambiance!! Loved the chive pancake appetizer (not pictured) and the cod Penang curry (pictured on the right). Those were off menu specials but everything else (Thai iced tea, green papaya salad, tom yum soup, pineapple fried rice - pictured on the left) we ordered from the menu was also solid. This restaurant was a fantastic find for the location (it’s 8 mins from Bridgewater Commons) and we’re looking forward to dining here for years to come!
Enjoyable meal, excellent service.
Amazing customer service and food is incredibly delicious.
I live in the area and have been here several times. I've had an exceptional experience every time. The staff is always very helpful (even with my slightly rambunctious kids) and kind. The menu is great and the specials have been delicious. The place is always clean and the atmosphere warm. We love coming here. I do wish they had high chairs for my youngest, but the food is worth semi-wrestling my 1 year old while eating.
Excellent Thai food is a very comfortable setting. Savory Thai is in a Mall setting but the quality of food greatly exceeds. Service is also excellent by Angelo
Glad we stopped in. Food was delicious, service amazing. New restaurant, clean, nice atmosphere. Will definitely return when in the area.
Loved the food here - the drunken noodles were flavored and spiced perfectly. I didn’t catch his name but the server was great, too.
Wonderful service and food
Recently opened restaurant! Really good food. Avocado rolls could be better but Must try
Tonight I decided to get takeout and give this place a try, needless to say that I was not disappointed! Excellent Pad Thai and drunk noodles. I am really looking forward to exploring this menu more in the future.
The service here is incredible! Our waiter was so nice and sociable and he took the time to clean our table in between our appetizer and entree. The chive pancakes and Pad Thai were the highlights for us.
I have so many things to say about this place! But to keep it short, the food was amazing, customer service was honestly the best I have experienced anywhere. The customer service is actually probably BETTER than the food and kept me coming back during my work trip in New Jersey. I regret not getting the names of the two male waiters that assisted me and we're so welcoming to me every day. I appreciate them. Their kindness touched me, unbeknownst to them, I was going through a tough time while on my trip due to loss of a family member.
I can't wait to visit this place again.
Spicy level is not consistent. Ordered 3 lunch meals with 1 star spice level and 2 of the 3 were fine and mildly spicy. The 3rd meal was definitely more towards a 2 to 3 star spice level-I couldn’t eat it. Also, not sure if it was an error but keep an eye out on the itemized bill. I ordered 4 lunch specials and received 4 lunch portion specials but was charged a dinner portion on one of the meals.
Best thai food I've had in NJ bar none!
Food was Average, prices were high.
Tasty food. Quantity is less compared to other authentic thai restaurant especially for dinner.
The best Thai food near me and their staff is very attentive. I recommend trying Basil fried rice and Massaman curry.
Awesome good and superb service
Clean, fresh and delicious!
Didn’t stay to try the food, ordered they were a little higher than Thai Kitchen but after my order they said we have a $20 min charge for credit cards and they were going to add a surcharge, now we are 20% over local I said cancel my order and walked out. There was no offer to drop the fee, glad others are happy
We normally rate our Thai restaurant by the quality of their pad Thai, and this place is by far the best we've had! Service was great! This place will do great!
Excellent Thai food and very attentive staff. A must try!
Excellent Thai restaurant in Branchburg. Service was very attentive and there when we need them. Food quality is wonderful, with authentic flavors and variety between dishes. The fried rice was absolutely perfect.
Just had dinner @ Savory Thai Branchburg.
Excellent food, service, & atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this place.
Really fantastic. Vegan options available.
Best Thai restaurant in the area. Ingredients tasted fresh. Good job.
Thank you so much Savory for the delicious meal. My sister and I enjoyed our lunch. She had the Green Curry with chicken and I had the Red Curry with chicken. We also should split the chicken steamed dumplings that were really tasty
Great food and atmosphere- We will be back!
Chic decor, friendly service, delicious, authentic flavors, and smiles all around. Exactly what you would expect from a high-quality Thai kitchen.
I'm so glad Savory Thai decided to open near me!
Came here after experiencing poor customer service at Moe’s.
The ambiance is beautiful! I was greeted by a nice young lady who explained that she was new. She was polite and knowledgeable of the menu.
I ordered pineapple rice rice with chicken and a Thai iced tea. The food came quick, was delicious and I have no complaints. I’ll def be back, thank you Moe’s for helping me experience Savory.
I highly recommend this restaurant! We did have a lot of various dishes and my family loved all of them. The service was great, friendly server that was very attentive to our table. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in the area! Im super happy they opened up a Thai restaurant at this location. Will be definitely going again soon.
The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly and professional. We will definitely go back.
Delicious Food! Very friendly staff! Can't wait to come back again!
My favorite Thai place for curry! Will be back to try more!
Really, really great food! Place is very cool & clean, both food and service were outstanding! Best Massaman Curry I have ever had, Drunken Noodle were amazing too! From appetizers to dessert nothing disappointed. Can't wait to go back for more... Thank you Savory Thai Branchburg!
A friend recommended this place so I thought I would give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Everything was amazing. We started out with the roti masaman, the sauce was so good. Then for our entree we had the duck tamarind and the drunken noodles. Both dish was so flavorful. The staff was attentive and inviting.
We will definitely be back.
Oh and the decor is really nice, definitely good for date night.
