The food was excellent. If you want to try authentic Thai food, this is the place to go. We ordered Thai spring rolls, and they're awesome. Pad wood sen and fried rice crab, and they were very very good. Also, we finished with Thai donuts, and they were also excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant to try it and definitely going back to try more of their food.

Came first when they open. 4:05pm, got soup at 4:35 and main 4:55. Pad Thai is WAY too sweet, felt like they dropped a sugar bin there by accident. Drunken noodles arrived about 15 min after my wife got her main, noodles were not cooked, just boiled sticked together, not charred in wok like it’s supposed to. Was uneatable and barely touched. They did not care about it, too bad. Their Tom kha is pretty good. Didn’t leave me anything to even come back and give it another shot

I've been a patron of Ricky's for a while now. Today, I returned after a long absence due to their renovation. The changes are amazing; the restaurant now feels so open and bright. The food and service were beyond impressive—I had the Drunken Noodle with pork, and it was outstanding. In terms of quality and flavor, it's to my opinion the best in Miami; you'd have to go to NY or Thailand to find something comparable. I highly recommend this place!

Although they are currently open for dine in and take out, please be aware that there is some expansion work in progress. That being said, it doesn't affect, in any way, the quality of food or service. And the walk up/pick up window is genius.

My, oh, my!!! I’m so grateful that I was able to stop by as a first time customer! Let me tell you something: The Chicken Fried Rice was AHHHH-MAZING! The jasmine rice was so moist….omg!!! The chicken was tender! The veggies were “vegging-ing”.🤣 This will be my go-to location for Thai food anytime I’m in town! Come through, Ricky, come through!!!!

We started with the House Salad with peanut dressing and we both liked it; the peanut dressing was creamy, spicy, sweet and flavorful and the veggies were fresh. I got the Tom Kha with Tofu and the Pad See Ew. The Tom Kha had an aggressive, sour, somewhat spicy flavor cut with the creaminess of coconut milk, which was overall very pleasant. The Pad See Ew was barely spicy, and had a pleasant, milky sweetness to it. She got the red curry. It was pleasantly creamy with slightly assertive spice, and the chicken was tender. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience at Ricky Thai bistro, and would return. If there were any complaints, the parking was a bit difficult to find.

Went again and I am severely disappointed. Our party of 5 was served 2 diners then 4 minutes later 2 more in our party were served 5 minutes later our pregnant dinner companion was served. Smh. And her dinner was not even close to what she had ordered. The stir fried Rice was mushy resembling rice pudding with chunks of chicken in it. One of our party requested shrimp added, and she did get ONE shrimp added to her dish. In all our party of 5 spend 200.00 for the meal. I seriously doubt that any of us will ever be back, after all Miami has alot of great cuisine time to find a new favorite Thai restaurant.

And our food was great— we had the green curry fried rice. Ludo, a team member at the front of the restaurant also was super hospitable and kind! We will definitely be back!

Ricky Thai Bistro is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in miami. I was first made aware of them on “check please south Florida” years ago. Some of my frequently ordered dishes are larp, fried riblets, pad prik king, pad woon sen and all of the curries (massaman is favorite, but had them all). The portions are generous and the ingredients authentic. I have been fortunate enough to go to Thailand twice and this is the closest I have come to the real deal in miami. I have been coming here for about 7+ years now always getting great service and food.

It used to serve excellent Thai food. The quality and taste are not the same as they used to be, although the ambiance remains cozy. However, the service has always been highly disorganized.

Staff is very nice! Tom kha Kai and pad se ew was delicious.
Red curry was watery and not very flavorful. Also tried the chicken wings and they were ok.

Food was terrible, worst Thai food I ever hard. I prefer Thai food over Chinese food most times for the quality. I only get shrimp fried rice. Greasy. They gave 5 shrimps for $22 Small portion. Also no parking. I had to drive and walk all the way around. I ordered before I got there. If I didn’t I would have canceled the order before I got there. Please save the money and the hassle.

Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in Miami. I am frequent flyer at Ricky’s for the last 5 years and their quality and taste are always impressive. Amazing Papaya salad, you will get addicted to the sauce. All Noodle dishes are full of flavors to be discovered, the Duck is a dream come true, try it with the pineapple rice for a perfect pairing. Thai Donuts to top it all off with a sweet ending. The owner is always onsite, which is truly what makes it all work flawlessly. Takeout is a good choice.

Been coming here for years! This family owned restaurant boasts of authenticity all around, while Juliano & his wife insist on being sticklers to Thai flavors and recipes. A North Miami Neighborhood gem. This time we had our favorite Whole fish with Thai hot sauce. The generous sauce also served on the side with aromatic rice is a meal for the gods. The squid appetizer is spicy, unique and so satisfying. Servers and Juliano are so attentive and pleasant. They even remember your name, what your favorite dishes are and the smiles are endless while they run around trying to accommodate the long waits of this tiny restaurant! Love I, love them… just all around love! Bravo guys!!! And thank you for feeding us

Let me preface this review by saying that Thai food isn’t always my first choice but Ricky’s is definitely a place i will revisit!
I’ve NEVER had a satay this good! The papaya salad was cut fine and delicious. The green curry with the kefir lime was phenomenal!!The singa beer nice and chilled! I’d say, just the pad thai could have used a little less sugar. We wrapped up our meal with a plate of the little unsweetened donuts with condensed milk on the side, perfect! Fabulous place and packed on a Tuesday evening!

The food is unparalleled and the people are lovely. Just a tad loud but mainly because customers are happy to be there (no obnoxious music). I highly recommend it.

Ricky's went out of their way to make sure my visit was a good one. The food was excellent! I got the pad thai and the shrimp we're big and scrumptious. The manager/owner (guy in his later 50's?) really tried to make sure my food was in my hands pronto. My only problem here is the parking.

The prices are just incredibly honest and most important is consistently outstanding. We just keep going again and again.

I should have confirmed my order when I placed it over the phone yesterday because instead of Pad Kee Mow, I got Paid Thai... Everything was still delicious, just a little disappointed! Make sure you ask them to repeat your order back when ordering over the phone!

Just can’t say enough good things about Ricky’s. Good is just awesome, fresh, piping hot, flavorful. Best Pad Thai I have had in years and years, esp with tofu. Red curry yummy, spicy and loved every minute of it. Thai rice moist and just the right amount of moisture and clumpiness. Thai chili whole fish, yikes, snapper the night I went, and just pick it right off with some lettuce and the Lap tomato sauce dip was crazy! Chill place, great owners, friendly staff and a great and inexpensive wine list. Yeah, worth a drive from wherever you are.

What an incredible place we are so fortunate to have in our own little north Miami neighborhood. Food is always impeccable, no other Thai restaurant can compete in Miami and beyond. The new expansion is excellent. Modernized while maintaining an intimate local feel. And now they have a take out window! You may (probably will) need to wait, possibly for a while, to get seated do to its popularity but it's absolutely worth any wait

We live down the road and ordered take out 1/2 a month. When they closed we were worried about how they would make a comeback.

Have had many versions of drunken noodles at this point. This one had good spice level (if asked) and full of a variety of veggies. Fried rice dishes (basic and Thai basil) were also richly flavored.

This cute little Bistro is a hole-in-the-wall, cozy space, with delicious food, for such great prices. I absolutely loved the Tom kha kai soup. The service was 5-star - our server took such great care of us, I really felt at home in the restaurant. We just popped in for lunch & now this is my new favorite Thai food place in the area.

Was on vacation here last week and one of our favorite meals was at Ricky Thai. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came out quickly, and it was some of the best Thai food I've eaten outside of Asia. Amazing Papaya salad, Thai spring rolls, and pad Thai! We finished with the mini Thai donuts served with sweetened condensed milk. All very delicious. I wish we were in town longer so we could try more items.

You may have to wait a short while for a table. It's a small establishment but the menu is full of flavor. They have curry soups, wings, pad Thai, duck, and other classic Thai dishes. They also carry wine, beers like Sapporo and some canned sodas and juices. I've been here twice and really enjoy their spring rolls and pad Thai.

It’s a perfect little hole in the wall that has aspirations because they’re expanding. I’m a little worried that when they expand, they will lose that comfort, food environment and the very sweet waitress. They won’t have time to sit and chat over red curry vs green.
They have an amazing selection, and they’re very kind and accommodating and plenty of food for very good prices. The Decour is charming, but nonetheless sort of like a hidden gem of a place. Opens at 4 o’clock. Come in through the back and don’t forget to get your pad Thai on .

I used to love this place . The service is alwways amazing until the last time I came . My kids doesn't really like much vegetables. They love the pad sew and I asked the server to put less vegetables but with extra noodles and I don't mind paying for it. But the owner Ricky said no . And he did this before . If you want your guests to keep coming back as long as it is a reasonable request . You should honor it . At the end of the day guest come back when they are happy and satisfied .

This is an excellent restaurant, as authentic Thai as can be. Everything is fresh, they make any dish to order to your liking. We'll come back here again as a regular, they can adjust the spice level to your liking. Must visit!

My boyfriend ordered the pad Thai. He really liked it I got the seafood basil and it was delicious. Very fresh seafood, and vegetables new to North Miami was a great time restaurant.

Whether take out or eat in, always spectacular. Note medium is hot for most Americans and hot is HOT, and unless you are Thai stay away from Thai Hot!

Wow! My friend suggested I come here because I was in the area and I'm so happy I did!

It's a super lowkey spot but the food is amazing. The service we had was also so so good. She was incredibly sweet and made conversation with us and suggested good dishes. Here's what we ordered:

- KAO NIAO MOO TOD: you must order this! It's Papaya salad with sticky rice and pork strips. These pork strips were my favorite part of the whole meal! Ask for the papaya salad a little spicy. We forgot to do that and wished we did
- Pad See Ew was really good too! Can't go wrong with this and they have a great one
- Crab Fried Rice; not my favorite crab fried rice EVER but it was really good.

I'm sad I hadn't heard of this place before but I'm glad I found it now and can't wait to go back!

I have to be honest i have high expectations for thai food, i lived in thailand and have eating thai food all around the world, this place ranks high. I’m happy to have found it. They open at 5pm.

I recommend the green curry fried rice, pad see ew was also delicious. I’m looking forward to trying to curry!

Surprisingly delicious, the reason I wrote Surprisingly, from the outside it is not that inviting. Get past that, and the food and service were great....friendly and welcoming...this is our new Thai place!!!

This was a weird one. We showed up and it looked like a run down building, front door is blocked off but my first thought was, the good must be really good if they are still staying open.

My first sense to trigger when I walked in was my nose. The use of fish sauce was obvious, and that got me excited; I knew I was going to get some flavorful foods. The pad thai, salad, egg rolls aesthetically was fantastic. The taste was bold, with some heat but a little too sweet, presumably to try to cut the spiciness. It was a balance of authentic and American Thai food.
