Diner Review №1

My favorite restaurant in all of Reno. The red chili that they cook the food in is superior to all other Thai places I’ve ever been! my favorite dish is the drunken noodles, but I i’ve eaten most of the menu and liked everything. The staff is very nice and embarrassingly I eat here so frequently they know me by name, and by children. The food is actually spicy, which I also appreciate! If you are unsure about spice, I would stick with level two I like to eat mine at a level three.

Diner Review №2

First time there and it was beyond expectations. I love Thai foods think my favorite is chow fun noodles as well as shrimp spring rolls.

Diner Review №3

อร่อยมากและรสชาติเหมือนอยู่ที่ไทย 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇹🇭

Diner Review №4

A wonderful Thai eatery in downtown Reno. Prices are on the high side for the great food and good service.

The food rocks.

Diner Review №7

GET RID OF THE BELL ON THE DOOR IT RINGS NONSTOP WEVE BEEN HERE FOR HALF AN HOUR AND IT HAS NOT STOPPED

Diner Review №8

Picked up some tasty pad see ew, drunken noodles and a papaya salad (ordered the fire spice and it came out barely spicy). Large portions and noodles were tasty.

Diner Review №9

I love the food at Moo Dang! It’s delicious and always prepared perfectly and that’s the only reason I keep coming back. The service is atrocious! Tonight I called in an order and I was told it would take an hour. I showed up on time and waited another 1/2 hour for our food. While I waited they left me and several other guests at the front door without even a head nod to acknowledge our presence. When you call for take out they often quote over an hour wait however I’ve come in and was able to eat within 15 minutes. If they’d get their act together I’d order at least twice a week. As of now I only order once a month or so.

Diner Review №10

Do not order DoorDash from this restaurant! They will accept the order and then refuse to make it.

Diner Review №11

Diner Review №12

Bad customer service didn't make me feel welcome here. It's very hard to get the attention of a waitress after they deliver your initial order.
The food is either too spicy or too bland on taste, and they don't give or ask if you want any sort of extra sauce/dip for appetizers.
The place is cute, with movie posters all around, in Thai.
I don't get why the restaurant has a Spanish name at door.

Diner Review №13

Get the pad tai!!! It's soo good! Service was great and I recommend visiting this place very authentic

Diner Review №14

Unreal food and lovely, attentive staff! We will be back!

Moo Dang food is outstanding. The flavors are amazing. You can tell that attention was used while making the dish. TheTom Yung soup was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The servers were attentive and responsive.
If you enjoy excellent Thai food, Opal and her staff do a wonderful job.
They have marvelous special dishes.

great Thai food love the coconut chicken soup...it's amazing

Diner Review №24

There are two Thai restaurants that I frequent in Reno. I haven't decided which is better, but it might be Moo Dang.
The servers are friendly and willing to help me with selection.
If you like a little spice, order at least a 3 of 5. I chose 2/5 tonight but will remember 3+ next time.
$19 Curry + Rice

Diner Review №25

This place was amazing! Nice little hole in the wall type vibe. We had the Pad See Ew and the Similian Noodles. Staff was friendly as well

Diner Review №26

I'm Thai and visited Reno for a business trip. I can confirm that this restaurant serves authentic Thai food. Thanks to the chef for all the delicious dishes.🤩

Diner Review №28

Food was good.

Diner Review №29

I like the hippo from the zoo

Diner Review №30

I've never had Thai food before and honestly I feel like this has set the bar so incredibly high. I had the Kra-Pow with spicy basil and some spring rolls, and they were both so delicious!

Diner Review №31

Went looking for pics of that baby hippo and found this restaurant. Never been. Five stars

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

Very rude waitress I just asked how much longer she snapped at me when I asked. They are nice if you are sitting down eating and giving them a tip. They said the order would be another 5 minutes for one item they forgot in my order took them another 20 minutes almost another 30 minutes wait on a slow day their are better choices I will drive to sparks to find another place to eat.

Diner Review №34

Great food and super service.

Diner Review №35

Diner Review №36

Love it here! Came in for Tom Kha and Thai ice tea with coconut milk, but we wound up getting Panang curry with chicken and drunken noodles with beef. All were amazing! Panang is already spicy so ordered with no extra spice and rice noodles instead of rice 😋 and mid spice for drunken noodles was perfect! 10/10 recommend and will come back!

Diner Review №37

Has been a longtime since I ate here. But regardless taste it still the same and for sure will be coming back. Love the fish balls. The obv pad Thai and curry

Diner Review №38

The food is so good I always forget to take a picture to post with my review before I devour it. They definitely deserve way higher of an overall rating than the 4.5 stars it stands at when I posted this! My husband and I pass through Reno every year and always make it a point to stop in here as many times as we can. Every dish is super flavorful, the pork belly in a curry has such a unique and delicious texture! We loved the Panang curry with pork belly & the pad woon sen on this trip, but have never had anything we don’t love here. If you’re a lover of spicy food they don’t mess around if you order a 4 or 5 on the spicy scale.

Diner Review №39

Best Thai place in town. I've tried almost all of the ones in town and this place hands down has the best Pad Thai. Yes its more expensive than other places but you are gonna get the best quality thai food so imo its worth it

Diner Review №40

Really good food. You can definitely spice it up if you request it. Everything was tasty

Diner Review №41

Good food. Good service. Had pad Thai and Tom yum, tofu. Plus extra rice. Very happy.

Diner Review №42

Delicious

Diner Review №43

I found this place via the internet. I love their Pad Thai noodles. Discovered this place a month ago and I have been 3 times already.

Diner Review №44

Good value

Diner Review №45

We finally got to try this place this weekend and it was good. The portion of the pad Thai was good but it was a bit too dry in my opinion.

Diner Review №46

I love fried pork belly Kra Pow

Diner Review №47

Diner Review №48

Was there on 8/3. Bought a plate of chicken pad Thai. Excellent food and excellent service. Will definitely come here again. 11/10 highly recommend.

Diner Review №49

Just damn good.

Diner Review №50

Wow. Just wow.

Pretty darn good restaurant! Amazing service and great food!

We made this one of our top every Friday spots.

Diner Review №51

Should say you're closed on entry not waste my time. I waited for several minutes and staff were more interested in talking than addressing me. Lights were on. Signage indicated open. Definitely avoid this place look at their reply.....

Diner Review №52

The Tom Yum soup is so perfect and spot on 😭 so authentic and the flavor is right every time. Not everywhere is like this so I love it here
Consistency is so nice
Super fast, clean, great location

Diner Review №53

Everything was excellent! The food is so tasty legit and authentic. It was delivered piping hot and my water glass never went empty. My husband doesn’t prefer pad thai he never does, we never order it but at my persistence we got it. He was shocked at how good it was and how fresh the noddles were. My daughter also claimed it was the best mango sticky rice she had ever had in her life. We will come here everytime we’re in town.
Moo Dang forever🫶

Despite a quintessential strip mall location and furniture, the food was excellent. Excellent heat at 4 stars. They actually believed me when I asked for it that way.

Fantastic staff, too.

Diner Review №60

Wonderful service! Very friendly staff. Delicious food!!!

Diner Review №61

The best Thai food in town. Quantity 5/5, taste 4.5/5, ambience 3/5, service 3.5/5 (short staffed)

Diner Review №62

Everything about this place makes me want to go back. The food was delicious and just the right amount of spicy(or not depending on the person), the service was great, and the atmosphere is comfortable and not at all what one usually finds in a Thai restaurant. Good job!! We will be back.

Diner Review №63

Food was great!

Diner Review №64

I adore moodang! One of my top 3 fave Thai restaurants on the west side of North America!
Todays meal pad kee mao (drunken noodles) with chicken, spice level 4 out of 5! 4 is no joke today!!!
Whenever I'm in Reno & craving Thai this place is the only possibility for me!!!

June update,

Just had the basil fried rice w. Crispy pork belly - my new favorite!!! 4⭐ spicy! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Diner Review №65

Diner Review №66

Had a great meal at Moo Dang. Tasty food at affordable prices. Also, their portions are massive! Highly recommend.

Diner Review №67

Unreal. Moo Dang very quickly became my new favorite Thai spot in Reno. Food is super fresh, flavorful, with accurate spice levels - big shout out to the panang curry and satay chicken. Staff was super welcoming and friendly, I love the overall atmosphere, great little merch cart up front. Will be back soon for sure!

Diner Review №68

Got the Sukothai soup which was great. I liked the cilantro on top. The chow mein with tofu was tasty. It was busy here and took about 45min for us to get our food but the waiters were very kind.

Diner Review №69

Diner Review №70

Excellent Thai food. At least for the Panang, 2 on their 1-5 scale is pretty spicy...

Diner Review №72

We visited this restaurant on a whim, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our experience was chaotic from the start. The host/waitress, who seemed overwhelmed, informed us that there were no available tables for four. We were asked to wait, which we did without issue. However, when she came to seat us, she was simultaneously cleaning tables, leaving us confused about which table to go to.

After finally getting seated, we placed our orders, but the food arrived in a staggered and disorganized manner. It took 30 minutes for the first dish to arrive, followed by the next dish 15 minutes later, and the final dish 10 minutes after that. The food was good, but the service was far from pleasant.

To make matters worse, a couple who arrived after us received both of their dishes at the same time, while we were still waiting for our final dish to arrive. This added to the confusion and frustration.

The restaurant seemed understaffed, with our server rushing around, trying to keep up with the demands of multiple tables. Despite the good food, the chaotic experience and poor service left a sour taste in our mouths. We hope the restaurant takes steps to address their staffing issues and improves their service to match the quality of their food.

Diner Review №75

This place was absolutely horrendous, placed an order online today and I got told to go pick up, however when I got there they said they had cancelled my order. Not to mention i waited for like 20 extra minutes and still no service!! This was a horrible let down on Mother’s Day!! This place is Moo Poo!

Diner Review №76

This hole in the wall is absolutely delicious. Nothing fancy, you come here to eat fresh, good quality and flavorful Thai food. Delicate flavors on every dish, nothing too salty, too sweet or too intense.

Diner Review №77

Amazing food, finally happy to find a restaurant that is true to the flavor and the prices are reasonable. Love the decorations with the thai movies 🎬 I think. Everything was clean, and it gets busy right around mid day. Good area and plenty of parking. I'll be back often thank you.

Diner Review №78

One of the better Thai restaurants I've eaten at. The Fried Rice was very good.

Diner Review №79

Delicious Thai foods.

Diner Review №80

Love every single person who running the business, the food is always amazing!

Diner Review №81

My lady and I absolutely LOVE this place! The service is always prompt and kind, and the food is to die for. We crave this place on hard days after work and never walk away unsatisfied. The Drunken Noodles and Seafood Curry are our favorites so far. [Pad See Ew is a close third!] But, to be honest, there isn't a dish we haven't liked yet. The flavors are authentic and layered. If you haven't tried Thai yet, you can't go wrong with Moo Dang! They were voted the best Thai restaurant in Reno.

Diner Review №82

This was my first experience eating Thai food and it was a fantastic experience. I cannot wait to return.

Diner Review №83

I guess I have to bring my own chopsticks 🥢 because I asked twice and I didn’t get any..

Diner Review №84

Nice atmosphere and good, fast service, but my food was disappointing. I had the fried fish balls - that was OK. The papaya salad, however, was way too sweet like much of the Thai food served in the US. The little papaya there was got mixed in with shredded cabbage and shredded carrots. Not sure why because papaya is cheap. I won't go back, that's for sure

Diner Review №85

Waited about 45 minutes for a take out order that we placed early in the day. Food wasn't worth the wait. Really disappointed. This place came highly recommended.

Diner Review №86

FOOD WAS SO GOOD! I’ve tried a lot of restaurants out of city, but this one is the best restaurant I’ve had in Reno! Customer service was awesome! The girls were so intendant and our waters were always full!

Diner Review №87

Favorite Thai food in Reno. Highly recommend!

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

It was our first time getting lunch to go from here.
We ordered fried rice, pud thai, drunken noodles, and calamari appetizer. Everything was on point, it was all very good, especially the calamari appetizer. Everyone enjoyed the food!

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Curry was amazing, but the rest of the food was 3-4 stars. They brought us our mango desserts and told us that one of them had a different mango. It was horrible. I’m not sure if it wasn’t ripe or what but that was weird to me. They also charged us extra when my kids order tea with no ice. I would go here again, especially for the curry, but we didn’t leave feeling like it would be a favorite.

Diner Review №92

Food is pretty good here and fast service.

The food can be rather spicy so beware. Below 3 (out of 5) is a safe bet.

Parking could be tricky. Very busy plaza.

Diner Review №93

We have liked almost everything we have tried here…

The best is the crab fried rice.

Other items id recommend is the drunken noodles and spicy cashew chicken, tom yum/kha soups.

Chicken satay is definitely very juicy and flavorful.

And the mango sticky rice was great too.

Ps. Skip the wings.

one of Reno's best

Diner Review №96

Brunch time!
Tom yum soup with shrimp - really salty
on the first sip. I had them remake it and
t was better. They added more hot water
to it, is what I felt like after they did a
redo. We did the shrimp and it was a nice
big size prawn. Lots of mushroom and
was big piece, good for the eyes and
presentation and great for people who
loves shroom like me.
Seafood yellow curry with shrimp
calamari, crab -I liked this because the
sauce is like gravy with egg mixed in it or
could be crab mixed in it. The seafood
was a great mix of calamari, prawns, and
trab. The calamari is what the party likes
because it's meaty qualityGreen curry chicken - chicken is white
neat and cooked well done. The curry
green sauce was just ok. The presentation
wasn't too pleasing. The taste was on the
salty side. We didn't really like this much.
Satay chicken skewer - grilled white
chicken meat. The skewer has great char
marks. The chicken was good with the
Savory peanut sauce and refreshing
pickle cucumber and jalepeno
Fried calamari - fried batter calamari. The
calamari is meaty and tender. We all
loved it.
Roast pork with mixed veggie thai style -
roast pork is crispy and fresh and tender.
The mixed veggie is good colorful mix and
refreshingBrown rice and white rice - we loved the
brown rice. The brown rice is .50 more
than the white rice. Just FY1. The point is
eating healthy is more costly than normal
lol.
Overall we got seated right away when
they opened at 1130am on a Saturday
We had a good experience. The food is
ok. The service was ok. Ambiance inside is
casual. Easy for the parking which is a
plus. The overall food was more on the
salty side. Hope this review helps. Thanks
for reading. Have a yelptastic day!

Diner Review №97

If I could give zero stars on this review, I would. Prior to being business owners, my husband and I were both in the service industry for a decade. I never leave reviews unless it’s warranted.
For some reason, our order was lost, once that they would admit to you, and apparently more times than that. We showed up when there were hardly any tables sat in the restaurant. By the time we gave up and left, three tables that had been seated after us had already eaten and left. As we were walking out of the door, a matronly woman became very surety with us, because she was finally carrying our plates of food in hand. That is not our fault. That is your fault. It should’ve been completely free to take the food to go. Very disappointing stick to other Thai restaurants in the area. Waste of our valuable time.

Diner Review №98

Great look & wonderful food! Staff seems to value efficiency above all else and as long as you go in knowing that, you'll have a great time :) 4.8/5, wished their chairs were a bit more comfortable and the staff at least asked if we liked the food.

Diner Review №99

Finally we've got something to satisfy our taste bud. we've tried their lemongrass salad, chicken satay, chicken panag curry, tom yum fried rice and Thai iced tea. We're beyond satisfied. They served the food promptly despite a pretty rush hour. And the stuffs were pretty Cordial too! We are definitely going back!

Diner Review №106

This is the real deal Thai food. You will feel like you are at a little Street cart ordering some pad Thai when you first walk in. The menu has so many options you might find it hard to decide. I had the Tom ka soup. The lemongrass which if you didn't know is inedible and just a fragrant spice, was chopped finely and hard to navigate around. The onions and tomato were undercooked which might be fine to some but I wish they would have been a little more well done. All in all I definitely recommend if you enjoy Thai food. The drunken noodles and fresh spring rolls, two thumbs up.

Diner Review №107

I'm surprised at all the 5 star reviews. I have been twice now and both times I have been underwhelmed. To start, a small suggestion: make an affordable Tom Kha or Tom Yum soup as an appetizer. Many other Thai restaurants offer this. Here, it is $8.99 for a small and $11.99 for a large (presumably a meal portion). Wonton soup is $12.99 and only comes in one size.

Here is my most recent experience which resembles my initial experience. (I gave it a second chance.) I tried the 4 fried spring rolls for $7.99. They contain cabbage and carrots and come with a sweet chili sauce on the side. I noticed they were not cooked on the inside although perfectly crispy outside. May I suggest taking them out of the freezer to thaw before the quick round in the deep fryer?

For my entrèe I ordered the classic chicken Panang curry with white rice. I was pleased at the size of the bowl of chicken curry until I noticed that most of the contents were actually cabbage. Personally, I don't want cabbage in my curry. Notably, I've never had cabbage in curry before elsewhere and now that I've had it, I'm not keen on it. I'll have to pass going forward.

Last, I watched as people coming in after me were served appetizers and meals while I sat with water. After a great while, say 30 minutes or more, the waitress apologized and said that it would be another 10 minutes. I told her that it was clear that the kitchen was just now starting my order. Clearly they forgot or she had failed to put it in. Either way, this is a miss.

Like I said earlier, I'm astounded at the glowing reviews on here. The servers seem run ragged, the food is filled with filler, and the overall experience is below expectations.

We very much enjoyed our experience today at Moo Dang. Beautifully presented, tasty dishes with very ample portions. You can choose the degree of spiciness for your dish, from 1 to 5, 5 being the most spicey. The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning to Moo Dang in the near future. Thank you Robin.

Diner Review №113

I got the tom kha with tofu and my husband got the wonton soup - both were the tastiest broths I've ever tried!

Diner Review №114

Wow what a neat little gem. The staff was super nice and did not laugh at me for not being able to handle a 2 star spice soup. They just said “yeah I get that too” and brought me more water. Try the Sukhothai soup. It’s layers of flavor all in one awesome bowl.

Diner Review №115

As usual the food and service was great. I had the Moo Dang Soup with fried wontons. It was very tasty with plenty of pork. I also highly recommend the Drunken Noodles.

Diner Review №116

This place has amazing food and the servers are almost always super kind. I have yet to have a bad meal here, it's almost addicting.

Diner Review №117

What a great lunch! Our table ordered 6 different dishes and a couple appetizers and everything we had was top quality, we will be back for sure.

Diner Review №122

A pleasant surprise in Reno — real Thai food served by really cool Thai people. Very friendly service and actually authentic food. Being from NYC, my (Thai) wife and I have the best of the best at home, but Moo Dang ranks up there at the top. Moo Ping (grilled pork skewers) and Som Tum were legit. I’m still shocked we had authentic Thai food in Reno. Servers are sweet and friendly, service is great. Absolute must if you’re in the area. Be adventurous and try something new. Get it spicy. Live a little and you won’t regret going to this gem!

Diner Review №123

The best Thai that I've had in Reno. Service is slow, probably because they don't have enough servers. The lemongrass ginger chicken salad was amazing.

Diner Review №124

Lots of shrimp, great taste added broccoli. super fresh. Staff was beautiful! Garlic pepper.

Diner Review №125

5 is not spicy. Could double it and be no where near thai hot at many places.

Diner Review №126

Taste Thai food.

Diner Review №127

This place was perfect! Amazing food. Great service. And I need cultural experience. I have been to Thailand many times. I loved how they had large televisions showing videos of Thailand, night markets, and such or the back of the restaurant. Also a great souvenir stand. But the food is top notch number one. Highly recommend and would go back again.

Diner Review №130

Food is great! Tasty, true to original. But, the service and the maintenance needs a lot of work.

Diner Review №131

Food is tasty and delicious..more on veggies..we love eating here in Moo Dang thai food at Reno, Nevada.

Diner Review №132

Great experience! Food was delicious but I definitely ordered it way too spicy. I needed lots and lots of water. The server left me an entire pitcher of water lol. We ordered fried wonton, drunken noodles (level 3) and pad Thai (level 3). The drunken noodles was definitely way more spicier than the pad Thai dish even though they were both at a level 3. Still delicious but my mouth was on fire.

Diner Review №133

I've eaten here a half-dozen times over the past year. It's the best Thai place in midtown, but it's still hit or miss. Waitstaff sometimes forgets to ask about spice levels, and we've pointedly asked for "3" (of 5) and had it come back with clearly no spice whatsoever sometimes, and a healthy medium spice other times. We got Kra Pow Basil that was inedibly over-salted. (And I normally eat my food quite salty.) We let waitstaff know and they took it away but didn't bring us another dish nor did they take it off the bill.

The Tom Kha soup is consistently excellent.
It's unfortunate that you can't get a vegan curry, which is weird in my experience for a Thai place.
The papaya salad has an option to add deep fried tempura veggies--don't do it! Rather than adding a few deep-fried veggies to the fresh salad, the entire thing comes back fried, not a salad in any way, shape, or form.
The drunken noodles are good. If that's all I ever ordered, I'd probably be happier (assuming the spice level came out consistent.)

Wow, just wow. I haven’t had Thai food this authentic since San Diego. The only thing that would make this restaurant better is if they turn the restaurant into a nighttime karate place at night. I would love to come here and engage in battle with other people.

Bad service and mediocre food. The server was inattentive and forgetful. One appetizer arrived just after we ordered, the other arrived a minute or so before our main food arrived. The quality of food was mediocre but the quantity was decent for the price.
We ordered a level 3 spiciness but neither one of us felt any heat or spice. I would have asked for a level 7 or an 8 had I known!

Diner Review №140

Delicious 🤤. When I need my Thai food fix, I come here.

Diner Review №141

Wonderful place! They know spiciness is not just about heat but flavour too!
Their medium hot Drunken noodles (with just veggies) was a great meal for an Indian vegetarian like myself. My partner ordered the Panang curry chicken with plain rice and it was delicious as well.
Rates are very reasonable
Seating was nice and clean
Staff was decent as well
Vegetarian and vegan options in plenty
A must try for anyone in Reno or visiting Tahoe and nearby. Esp for vegetarians and flavourful spice lovers!

Diner Review №142

Came in for lunch and everything we had was delicious!
We got the Kra pow with chicken
Tom yum soup with shrimp, a bit heavy but still tasty
Moo ping was good, not too dry
Thai iced tea was delicious, not too sweet.
Would recommend this place!

Diner Review №153

Good food, very good service. Friendly and helpful.
The Panang was very coconut and yummy, a bit spicy. The crab fried rice did not have much for crab, but was good.
The chicken satay was tender and moist with very good peanut sauce.

Diner Review №154

This is one of my favorite Thai places in Reno by far! The tofu fresh rolls are so unique, and the peanut sauce is amazing. Everything we’ve ordered here has never disappointed us !!

Diner Review №155

Dang good food! Absolutely so fresh you would think it was from your own garden. Fast service, tofu is the best in town the best place to go for Thai food in Reno hands down forks up!

Diner Review №156

There is no doubt that Moo Dang is some of the best Thai in Reno. However I’m contributing this review to say how accommodating they are to gluten allergies! Almost everything can be done gluten-free! Including the Pad See Ew and drunken noodles. This was the best surprise. Getting Pad Thai GF is pretty typical. But to be able to have a wide noodle dish that is GF - that’s rare!! If you feel nervous about ordering GF give them a call and they will walk you through it. I just note it when I get delivery and they write GF on it so I know it’s safe. Love that extra care!!

Diner Review №157

Great place, but I wish there was air circulating. The Moo Dang soup was good. I wish there were more of a variety of curries on the menu.

Diner Review №167

Quick service and tasty food. Great for a quick lunch or dinner.

Diner Review №168

It's not quite as good as it used to be. But still good. Pad woon Sen was bland, yes I ordered no spice, but still no other salt or sweet flavors came through for me. The sukothai was good, love me sweet and sour soups. I enjoyed the sukothai noodle soup though the red pork was a bit drier than i remembered in the past. Did find a random piece of hard black "something"... charcoal off of something hopefully, even though I had no flame broiled meats in any of my items today. The lemongrass salad was delicous and the first time I'd had it. Shrimp not overcooked with good sourness that wasn't overpowering.

I tend to bounce around the menu items these days, and don't visit as often as I used to due to being on the otherside of town. Moo dang has almost a different region or flavor of Thai food you think of when in America, hitting a lot more sour notes on taste that, depending on your preference can be added with more sweet or more spicy/hot taste profile. They set themselves apart from other Thai restaurants in the area because of it too.

Things I miss off their old menu, shrimp cakes and the pineapple fried rice.

Overall, I feel like some age has settled them in, they are a lived on restaurant now and so sometimes things are just hit or miss and not always as consistent.

Good menu. Friendly service. Knowledgeable staff. My basil fried rice was tasty. My coworkers meal was too sweet and had what seemed to be undercooked green beans or something.
Id go back.

You want some tasty food!! Here is the place. However, their prices have ski rocketed in the last few years so be prepared to spend some
$$$.

Food is delicious and their recommendations turned out to be my favorite.

Diner Review №174

Pad Thai was good. But my ice with Thai tea was a bit disappointing. Ice went down to my finger. 4$ for that, kinda not cool.

Diner Review №175

Came here for a takeout, ordered drunken noodles. Food was fantastic. Service waa great.

We drove for 9hrs from utah and was so hungry! We ordered eggroll, sukiothai noodles, laab , pad se eww and rice.

Man! O Man! I have never had Sukiothai ever before . I do not noticed it in tje midwest and when I did.... my mouth was on fire! There was sweet, sour, salty, fishy and spicy all at one gulps! I added the pork wonton with it too. It was so good! I am in LOVE 🥰.... it was really delicious 🤤. We took the beef laab & rice back to the hotel . Laab tasted even better after awhile because the juice and flavor combined & soak through.

I love it. Will most definitely come back to eat when I pass Reno!!!!

Fantastic from beginning to end

Diner Review №183

The first time I came it was one of the best thai dinners I've ever had. This time curry was still good but a little salty. The papaya salad was top notch, but very spicy 🔥 🥵 and we ordered a 1 heat on scale 0 to 5, so just be careful. They thankfully gave us a new salad no problem, but otherwise it is good. A little salty, but good.

Diner Review №184

Drunken noodles is my jam! Everything else here is equally awesome

Diner Review №185

Loved it! Just wish they had the size of shirts we wanted!

Diner Review №186

Crispy Pork Belly Kra pow for the win. This place is Renos best kept Thai secret.

Diner Review №187

The food is good, but the service needs to improve. Both times I've eaten at Moo Dang, the server basically threw the food on the table and walked off. It was very strange. I lived in Thailand for 15 years, so I should know good Thai food and service.

Diner Review №188

Food was delicious and service was phenomenal between the waiters and waitresses being at your service at any moment. They have multiple seating areas and a wide variety of Asian beers to choose from. Great place for family and friends

Diner Review №189

Food was better than service. I got a pad thai and a Tom yum w/ chicken soup and a side of white rice. The calamari on the appetites were so good! 🔥

Diner Review №190

Foest time eating here. I literally cried from how good the food is. Best restaurant in Reno. The food is evil genius level good. Delinquently good. Just take all my money good. Do yourself a favor and try their food. Any dish. The Pad Tai is exceptional. The best dish is the Prik Kang Moo Grob, I don't have pictures because we ate it first. That's how good it was. Also, the Moo Dong Fried Rice was spectacular. Tai Teas were a little on the sweeter side but absolutely delicious l.

Food was delicies, good service, Recommended!

Diner Review №193

Really good Thai food, the best in Reno I have found. The pad Thai is excellent. Level 2 spice is a good amount of heat while still retaining lots of flavor. More than that and you had better really like spicy food.

Diner Review №194

Best Thai food in Reno! So authentic and flavorful, with great service. Had the Sukhothai soup (pictured), Basil fried rice and drunken noodles, each was delicious. Want to try everything on the menu!

Diner Review №195

Food is great and the prices are good for the food you get! Atmosphere is so so but it's a nice chill place to go get dinner, service is okay, but the amazing food makes up for it, tbh that's why you know the food is going to be good

Things didn't start out well as they made us wait while there were several large, empty tables in plain sight. I guess they won't seat smaller parties there "just in case" a large group shows up. They didn't and the place was nearly empty by the time we actually got our food. But, having folks visibly waiting in the front makes a place "look" busy. Food took a little long to get to us once ordered but take out orders seemed to get processed like clockwork indicating where their priorities were.

The food was decent, Tom Ka Gai soup was very good and had all the right flavor notes, the chicken satay also didn't disappoint and the condiments served with it complimented the chicken perfectly. The crispy pork belly seemed a little over cooked as their attempt to make it crispy left some pieces difficult to chew.

Prices were decent and the folks working there were nice enough so kind of a "glass half full" experience.
