Thai cuisine is known for its varied dishes, including curries, stir-fries, soups, and salads, often made with fresh herbs, spices, and vegetables. Thai food has a loyal fan base among Americans who enjoy its exotic and spicy flavors
My daughter discovered this place telling me she has fou d her new favorite Thai restaurant. We were welcomed as soon as we stepped inside. The menu looked as if there were a few items I havent seen before. One of which was coconut Island, a seafood dish which my daughter ordered. I stick with panang curry. We also ordered a side of calamari which was outstanding π. Food was so flavorful and enjoyable. Our entire dinner experience including the after dinner dessert which was a fresh mango , sticky rice and ice cream plate. The desert was amazing. I can see a trip here every monthly trip I make to Summerlin. As a side note the staff or owner (sorry I forgot to ask) came to the table and spoke with us about our food. Rare these days. Thank you so much for a great dining experience.
Found this place looking for Thai restaurants around the area and was amazed by the entire experience. We pulled up to the restaurant and I just knew it was gonna be good. The cozy atmosphere made me giddy with joy. As soon as we walked in we were kindly greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Thai beef salad and the red curry with chicken and it came out within 7 minutes. When we dug into the dishes, we were delighted with the flavors. Definitely the best Thai food in Las Vegas!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a lunch special of Pad See Ewe with pork and a Red Curry with chicken. The noodles were heavier on soy sauce taste but good overall. The red curry paste wasn't quite mixed in so there were slight oil and cream chunks but still delicious overall. Didn't care for the sides of egg roll and fried wontons. The Thai Tea was quite sweet but a strong tea and very generous on the condensed milk.
Service: 5/5 - very friendly and welcomed us to sit while we waited for our food.
Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Well decorated and themed with plants along the wall.
Value for price: 4/5 - the lunch combos are a bit more expensive at $15.99 per item with drink and salad or soup. While it was smaller servings, the food was good overall!
We were craving Thai food and The King & I (formerly known as) did not disappoint. We ordered delivery and it was prompt and delicious.
The Singapore noodles were absolutely delicious. The pork was so tender and shrimp was great too. The chicken satay had the best peanut sauce in town. The curry was delicious too served with some white rice. Highly recommended!
Ordered from Uber eats. Maybe they had a bad night because they have a lot of good reviews. My food was stale or tasted like it was microwaved. Satay, dry, rubbery, tasteless. Larb tasted freezer burned or stale, tasted like lime and nothing else. Curry was at least edible but bland.
Mango sticky rice, mangos were green, not sweet, and blue food coloring added.

Wonderful green curry.
Just the best π
Got a lot good food for less I recommend coming at lunch time and get the Thai tea
Great lunch special. We had yellow curry and spicy eggplant. Both delicious

Me and my girlfriend ate here about a month ago. We both enjoyed our food and would definitely go here again. Her mom had eaten here prior and had recommended. We try this spot. The customer service was very helpful and we enjoyed the environment. This is a place we would go again.
Great food. Fast service for take out. Very tasty.
Our Goto for thai.
Beautiful restaurant with flavorful food and really good service. We really like the pad thai, papaya salad, and panang curry. The papaya salad was the best I've ever had.
Went with my wife, after searching for thai restaurants. The place is intimate and nice! Friendly staff, food was good and huge servings good for 2-3 persons per plate, price is just right. Ordered Calamari β , crab rangoon, pad thai & singapore noodles. Will definitely go back and bring friends!
Excellent food with my excellent friendly service. The lunch specials are an excellent value and have very generous portions.
I am a veteran of the old King and I, and IV got my favorite musamun curry and it disappointed. It was LOADED with potatoes and bell peppers. Peanuts were scarce and I like I counted 4 prices total of tofu which I chose as my protein. Because the bulk of it was stuffed with potatoes it was lacking in the actual curry milk. I ordered medium spice and it was flat, no spice or kick. If I ordered again I'll try going a spice up.
I hope they don't start overcharging for less
Wow, this place is the best!! Very good food. Small and intimate. The service is wonderful. There is not a big selection of alcohol, Thai beers, and wine. I go for the food so I don't mind.
Everything you'd expect from Thai food
Great food. Service was stellar, and extremely friendly. The restaurant was very comfortable and calm. It was a wonderful meal.
The Pad Prik King, Pad Thai, and Tom Kha soup were all great.
Omg if u live in or near the lakes nieghborhood its best place ever n u neef to check it out!
Best Tom Kah I have EVER had! We love coming here every time we are in Vegas. Highly suggest trying this place out.
The pad Thai is amazing. We come here every time we are in Vegas.
Don't know what happened to this place. Ordered beef got chicken. It was sliced not Ground like it should be. Waiter says it only comes sliced for lunch special. Ordered 3 out of 4 spicy, got no spice at all. Even the thai coffee was undeniable. We won't be back.
We had lunch and it was awesome. The food was great and it was the perfect amount. Great prices and the servers were right on top of things.
Food is fresh and excellent. Nice atmosphere, I go about once a week and I'm never disappointed. Yellow curry is my favorite
Good food, friendly staff; has become my go-to for Thai.
This, by far, was one of the best places to eat in Vegas. I miss it so much! This was the go-to spot for lunch and sometimes dinner. Food is delicious and service was excellent.
The palace is good the food is exelent
I loved it so much ! The food was awesome π―π and the atmosphere looks and amazing including way awesome . The service it was let's just say they could have been nicer .
What a wonderful, quaint, delicious Thai place!

Great hole in the wall spot. We got the Pad thai with pork. Very flavorful.
Pretty solid place. Great food. Always enjoy coming here.
Great food and service.
Never disappoints.
Previously King and I and I gotta say that Thai Legends is delicious. Located in the Lakes community near summerlin. New ownership did not disappoint. The Red curry was excellent and the Phad Kee Mao was delicious. I went with a spice level of 2 and it still had a kick but didn't linger. Easy parking out front and friendly staff
Best crab. Fried rice and others!
First time here. Ordered the beef salad like I do at every Thai place. Food came and I realized they didn't ask heat level and doneness of steak. I like ZERO heat and steak medium. This thing was hot and the steak was chewy. And no desserts either. I would've given them a lower rating but they're super nice and they brought out baskets of candy for dessert lol
Revisted this place on 11/27/23:
Ordered the pad thai. Very generous portion. Tasted amazing. Also the Tom kha. Also very delicious. Decor looks new and inviting. Will be back to try more dishes!
Food is always fresh and delicious! I love their curries! Very cozy spot to dine in even though I havenβt stayed. Take out has been smooth, awesome and accurate every time!
Good local spot for Thai. Food tasted great, good service. Only issue was a lot of their menu is βcoming soonβ so a lot of the signature dishes we wanted to try were not available. They sounded unique to this spot compared to other Thai restaurants.
Love this place great food great service
We were craving Thai food and The King & I (formerly known as) did not disappoint. We ordered delivery and it was prompt and delicious.
The Singapore noodles were absolutely delicious. The pork was so tender and shrimp was great too. The chicken satay had the best peanut sauce in town. The curry was delicious too served with some white rice. Highly recommended!
Foid good but the sweet and sour chicken not so great.
Simply put⦠Thai Legends is legendary!
They used to have great lunch specials but their thom kha soup is my favorite.
Located in a little plaza not on main street or anything but food was great. Same owner as The Legend on Durango. The sisters who worked was very informative with the menu and friendly. Food was quick
I hardly write reviews but I was very impressed with the service and food. Food was very good, service was impeccable. The girl that served me and my nephew was professional and friendly. Filling up our glasses of water to asking if we prefer chopsticks , checking back so often or make sure everything was good. I work in the service industry so I really appreciate her dedication. Before I walked out ,I admired and expressed appreciation . I will be back.
Went here twice on vacation. The 2nd time was better than the first. I ordered red curry. The red curry I ordered at a 4* the first time, (1-4 spicy scale). They used red flakes but the food was amazing. When I went back the 2nd time I asked for it to be hotter, and they made the curry using bamboo shoots and fried Thai chilli's. This place is genuine and authentic. Just like my grandma used to make. I loved every bite of this.
If you're looking for Thai food, this is real and it's good.
Food is delicious. Always fresh and piping hot. They have great service as well. Support this small business.
Very authentic Thai restaurant.
Fast , friendly service with a smile! The food was delicious π + free desert!π«Άβ¨οΈ
I was a little skeptical when I found they were replacing my favorite Thai restaurant, but they absolutely exceeded expectations. Service is always excellent, and the food is delicious!
I have eaten here more than 5 times and it is a true hidden gem. The staff is such a genuine breath of fresh air and the food is great every time! Super fresh ingredients. Keep it going!
Wow, you need to try this place! Itβs a hidden gem in Las Vegas. We stopped by for a late dinner last night and were greeted with impeccable customer service, affordable prices, generous portions, and delicious Thai food. The owner came out to personally greet us at the end of our meal and thank us for coming. When she found out it was one of our birthdays, she made a complimentary mango sticky rice dessert. It was a really special meal and Iβd highly recommend everyone come here! I also have a lot of food allergies and they were very accommodating.
Service was excellent. Very helpful and kept are beverages full. The food for me was very average Thai food. If you are looking for a top notch Thai food experience, I would suggest Lotus of Siam on Flamingo. Its pricey but well worth it.
Great out of the way, family run Thai spot. Service is impeccable and the portions are generous.
Always a great place to eat and gracious hosts.
Excellent food and service. I highly recommend. We will be back for sure!
Service: Amazing. They were very friendly and professional. I never felt rushed. The food came out pretty fast as well
Food: Green curry is my go to at any Thai restaurant and this was the best Iβve had in a while. The ratio of broth to chicken to vegetables was also perfect which is sometimes hard to find. Although it comes with steamed rice I highly recommend getting it with a side of sticky rice.
All of the portions were good. Definitely a great spot, Iβm coming back for sure.
We used to go there when it was the king and I. But the food taste different and the service was very slow. It took 20 mins. We have to call our haircut appointment to move up 20 mins. And they donβt have the lunch special that we always order. Wonβt be going back there anymore.
We got a little of everything and it was delicious
Larb Salad- best we have had
Cucumber Salad- fresh and delicious
Massaman Curry- delicious
Panang Curry- also delicious
Sweet and sour- again one of the best
Pad Thai- delicious
Kung Pow-delicious
Thai iced tea- delicious
The portions were generous enough to enjoy and share, flavorful, fresh, and a pleasure to look at. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere pleasant and inviting. " I will be back!"
Crab fried rice wa son point but the BBQ half chicken hit the spot!!! If you enjoy Thai this place will not disappoint.
Me and my FiancΓ© came in today for a Mother's day brunch, and I am excited to share my experience here. The atmosphere is incredibly mellow. Decorations are beautiful and the service was fantastic.
The food was even better. I ordered the Calamari app, Spicy Catfish and Mongolian Beef. All of these were above expectations. I would recommend a visit here to anyone who enjoys Great Food.
Very welcoming atmosphere. Attentive service and friendly staff. Reasonable prices and good food.
I had this delivered and ordered the Chicken Satay, Tom Yum Soup, Pad See Ew, and a Thai Iced Tea.
The Chicken Satay is still my favorite in the whole city. The Chicken came as a great portion size, was moist, well seasoned. The chicken was so good I ate most of it without the sauce and then used the last few bites of chicken as like a spoon for the peanut sauce because it was also delicious and I didn't want it to feel left out. True Story.
The Soup was really very good - really good protein portion. It did have a whole lime slice versus just the juice and that made the broth a smidge bitter. Would still order again - I don't remember that happening before.
Pad See Ew was delisghtful. Everything about this was delicious. Wide noodles - even the Veggies were perfectly cooked.
Honestly, everything was fantastic - whoever was in the kitchen really nailed it. They all seemed to be enhanced (nearly) perfectly.
Authentic Thailand food. Well served portions and delicious.
Ordered the King and I fried rice. The rice was mushy and the overall flavor was bland. Definitely not ordering from this place again.
I like this place better now than the old one. They changed the interior settings and the ambience is nice with staff being great and having a respectful and good attitude. The food never fails as always they are delicious.
Staff not as friendly as the old staff. Interior is much nicer. Food remains excellent.
The best Thai food in Las Vegas. The team there works so hard and is so friendly. Thank you for being so amazing.
Such a good neighborhood restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. They are friendly, courteous, accommodating and efficient. I look forward to my next visit.
Everything is too sweet.
Owners of Legends Oyster Bar my favorite restaurant have taken this over and the food is delicious
Love this place, recently changed hands (ownership) with no dropoff in quality (although a little less portion size), and increased ambiance.
Delicious and delectable dishes. Diverse selection from Northern Thai cuisine and much more. Everything was perfectly cooked and the spice level was what I was looking for. The eggplant was done just right. My partners pad thai was executed perfectly. Only thing I'd say is a personal preference of mine would be have a better spice scale so people can easily discern what level they want. Wonderful condiment selection of fermented chili paste and dry chili flakes. Well done Soy sauce as well. A little pricey for my budget but would absolutely go again
This place actually got BETTER. Weve been eating here for a couple years and always enjoyed it but it had been a few months and tonights order was the best weve had from there. Meat was more tender. Flavors more balanced. My roommate picked up the order and said it had been renovated inside and looked fantastic. We werent sure what happened but I came to the reviews and I saw that ownership changed from another review so I guess that must be the difference! They still have all the entrees wed usually get they just all got better! Very pleased. Will start going there more now.
New owners. I just happy food still taste same and my favorite papaya salad still delicious
Good flavor, minor cons for takeout. I'm sure it's a very enjoyable experience for dining in. Takeout will be a bit slow due to busy time of day but staff is very friendly.
Petty and gotten much worse, charged me $4 for extra sauce and I had to call and cancel - I said β$4 for an ounce of sauce is a lotβ and they said itβs home made. Well thanks, please just cancel it but can I get dried chili? Sure, they said we can do that. The order arrived without the chili or even the sauce packet they normally send, and I was charged anyway! My pad thai from another order was also awful, one of the worst Iβve had. It was saucy and mushy and had a fishy aroma which was odd since I ordered tofu. Iβve been having problems since last month when they had new owners and Iβm done with this place. I used to order from here at least once a month but the bad food and overcharging just isnβt worth it anymore.
Love this place. A great, convenient restaurant. The most delicious green curry and pad Thai. Great refurb too.
Been ordering from there for years, with the new owner and DoorDash, I recommend Archi's Thai Cafe.
This was just last week, I'm the guy who came in on th Harley, to tell you about it respectfully, and you guys didn't care!
Food was awesome. Service was great. Waiters were very attentive. Sucks that you cant see the lake. But overall great restaurant!
New owners. Food was terrible. Ordered pad kro pao to go. Medium spicy. There was no flavor, 1 piece of basil, no spice, not even 1 red flake! Lots of onions, 1 sliver of red bell pepper.
I believe another review cited same issue about food quality.
I won't be back.
The only good thing was the remodel of dining area
I live across the street. So I go here alot. The Thai coffee , larb salad and Thai iced tea are banging.
Overall excellent experience. However, for me the prices seem a little too high and the food was a little different than I expected. The great services and wonderful atmosphere was a nice. I'm not an expert on Thai-Chinese food and I'm sure others will find the food exceptional. Check it out good restaurant.
Our dine in experience was a wonderful surprise! We were just expecting typical Thai food but my goodness it was so elegantly plated and delicious! Couldn't compliment the Chef enough!
new owners all the comfortable feel is gone new chef food was very hot and spicy meat needed to be cooked more not close to other owners
This is our "go to" favorite restaurant! Great service, fantastic lunch specials, authentic, delicious food!!!
Changed owner!
Services is A, food taste is new age fu-fu Thai, interior is new, just lack of home feeling, rice is bit over cooked and mushy.. food presentation is good..again, new age fu-fu Thai. No delivery service yet.. new owner says restaurant kept everyone, even the chef.. I donβt think so.. the way of food presentation, and method of cooking, the spicy heat levels control, how curry made, the way of ground meat preparation tells about the chef.. and it is completely different in comparison to old chef who used to cook there. The table has turned.
New King and I has lost its touch of homemade feel. I wish it luck.. it has a big shoe to fill.
Old King and I been there for over 30 years.. survived many economic disasters.. pandemic disaster..
Yellow chicken curry is delicious and the owner & staff are all awesome
Food is delicious. Love the crab Ragoons and fresh spring rolls.
What a great place! We recently found "King & I At the Lakes" we love all of the different dishes that we have tried over the ast few weeks - even more importantly my kids both love the combo fried rice - we order for takeout at least once every week!
Lunch prices are great and so is the food. My favorite to order is the Crab Rangoon, lunch special with yellow curry and upgraded drink to Thai iced tea.
Amazing food!
they racist first time coming there they lie in said they was close never go here if your black
We ordered take out and had the sweet and sour chicken which was a bunch of fried batter and the little chicken we did get was dry and very stringy, so bad my son choked on a piece. The sauces they have are very good. But what really did it for me was the long black hair that was fried into my fried tofu. That is the last time we order from here.
I was a regular here and my husband loves their red curry. For the past 6 months since we've been ordering the spice levels have been different. Sometimes it's super hot and sometimes there's absolutely no spice. I like to support mom and pops restaurants and am very disappointed in the service i received today.
I called back to inform the owner that the curry was entirely too spicy and was not edible. She told me that's what I asked for so that's what I got. I told her initially over the phone I don't know what spice level I should get but wanted medium spicy. She went completely overboard with the spice and I had to throw the curry out. She told me she can't refund me because it's too busy tonight and I got what I asked for. Mind you I spent $50 on my dinner tonight and they couldn't refund me $18! I told her I'm a regular and she told me I know who you are but it's too busy for me to refund you and we don't do refunds here! Wow!
Will not be returning and would never recommend this place anymore to ANYONE !
Terrible service for okay mushy food
The best pad Thai in town super friendly and great lunch specials
Great little restaurant close to home.
One of my neighborhood favorite Thai restaurant, great food great service consistently good!
Just ordered tonight, and everything was so fresh and amazing tasting. Delishβ¦.the Papaya salad, beef jerky, and the chicken curry. YUMβ¦A must and will again!!!!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Great food fast service
I love the Mongolian beef here! The egg drop soup is a favorite as well. Small hole in the wall restaurant with neighborhood vibes.
Good value. Food a little salty
This is by far, my favorite restaurant. BEST Sweet and Sour Chicken and Chow Mein in town!! Growing up in Northern California, we had some of THE BEST Chinese Restaurants. I have been in Vegas for nearly 30 years, and have yet to find anything to compare. King and I comes closest to the best. Friendly courteous staff, very attentive. I use them for event catering as well, they are Amazing!!!
The food was great but the over the phone order thru grubhub is horrible it takes wayyyyy to long
good food
Excellent customer service! Food is excellent I go so much everyone knows me by name! Good vibes!
My go to for Shrimp Pad Thai. Delicious!!! Always forget to take a pic before delving in!
Both the people and the food could be better.
Been coming here for a number of years and always had very good food, however that is no longer the case. The quality has really gone down hill and the prices just keep rising to the point that this establishment is now on the AVOID list.
Mrs. Linda is awesome. Best thai food in Vegas.. Me and the wife just started going there and the food is so delicious.... Comforting atmosphere with a close knit family type of feel from the restaurant staff.. Love this place... Gotta go back very soon...
Our new favorite Thai food!! Definitely be wary of the spice levels if you're sensitive, but every meal we've ever had has been delicious!
Not great greasy lacked flavor
Excellent meal+
Real Thai food cooked by a real Thai. That pretty much sums up king and I. Linda is the nicest person. She has so much love and pride in her restaurant, it really shows in her food. The taste is Unbelievable and so authentic. The restaurant is clean, food is fresh and comes out fast. If you want Thai food this is the place to go in Las Vegas
Wow what a cute Thai restaurant! They've been serving yummy Thai food since 1993. My shrimp pad see ew was excellent. I'll be back for sure.
My family has been going here for years, the staff is always super nice and we have never had a bad meal.Highly recommend.
So far so good
They have excellent food!
One word delicious!!
Good food and service
1st time eating here. Tom Ka Kai/Angel Wings. Both prepared well. Will be trying other options soon !!
We always enjoy the food here and the owners are very nice!
Excellent food & service. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
Very friendly staff and good Thai dishes.
I love it.
Everything comes out hot and delicious! Coming back for sure
Delicious! Super friendly staff.
Good stuff for good price.
Sad, I have gotten food from them always great service and great food. I dont know what happened but Linda the owner has completely changed and is rude anymore! Charging extra for extra when I never had to pay extra in past, I get it and I'm not complaining about the extra fee but I am complaining about how rude she was!! I wont ever go there again, what a shame!!
Love this place this is the other place I take my out of town friends to. The duck curry is amazing but their not spicy is still pretty spicy. So be warned not for the weak of spicy.
I love this place! They are very friendly, the food is great and when we get take out, they are so quick. Thank you so much all of you who work at King & I ππ»
I'm so disappointed. I placed my order at 5 p.m. for delivery on GrubHub. It's 7:45 and I still don't have my food. I found out they have their own drivers and don't use grubhub's. I've tried calling the restaurant several times only to find that the line was busy every time I call for an hour. I drove down to the restaurant, and I spoke with the woman behind the counter who told me she had unplugged the phone because she couldn't take it anymore. She then informed me that my driver had already left with my food. She was very annoyed that I had driven to the restaurant to check on the status of my food. I've arrived back at my house now, still don't have my food and I hope it didn't get taken while I wasn't home. I'll never order from here again. This used to be my favorite Thai place for a long time, but with the service I received I'll never go here again.
Edit: Decided to give them another chance, same thing happened except this time I never received my food at all. Same terrible customer service. AVOID!!!
