So tonight four of us went to eat at Alisha's kitchen/Thai Mango for dinner and we all were impressed. We were greeted by Eric and AJ and had a great meal and a good time.
We enjoyed pot stickers and cream rolls, they were delicious.Also Tom ka soup. Two of us had Drunken noodles, one had a BBQ chicken salad the other had Yellow curry. We all loved the food.
This was our first visit but won't be the last, I have my eye on a pulled pork monster potato......
Update 6 of us can tonight and had a great time.
Super dishes and large portions. . Tonight we all had stir fried or curry so I will still have come back for that potato!!!

I ordered the basil Thai rice with chicken at a level 5 spice. OMG! Amazing! The service was prompt and my order was fulfilled quickly. I waited 15 minutes. My spice level is definitely what I asked for and all the ingredients were fresh. I will be back for my Thai fix the next time I need it.

We had high hopes based on the reviews, but sadly our experience fell far short of what others have posted.
On the positive side, the food service inspection rating was 100/A. The person taking our order was polite and friendly. However, even though the restaurant was not busy at all, only two other tables were occupied, and we were seated for a good 20 minutes, the server failed to notice or inquire why I had not eaten more than two bites of my meal. So not very service minded unfortunately.
The reason I didn’t eat? What I received wasn’t Pho. It wasn’t even topped with beef (although when I mentioned this to the server as the bowl was placed in front of me I was told “Oh yes. That IS beef.” It was not.
The soup itself was a vegetable based broth with some kind of red chili oil added and the topping that was supposed to be sliced beef looked like chicken but may have been pork. Quite simply it was not Pho by any stretch of the imagination.
We ordered Pho. We are very familiar with Pho and the various styles it can be made. Basically it is a Vietnamese beef based stock served over rice noodles and topped with a variety of protein additions and traditional garnishes of cilantro, green onion, bean sprouts, and lime.
I ordered the beef topping without the cilantro and green onion. It was like ordering a cheeseburger and getting chicken salad. That is how far away this soup was from being Pho.
Very disappointing since we absolutely love Pho and would easily go out for it weekly if we could find it closer than the 2 hour drive to Duluth.

I had the Panang Curry with chicken—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor—while my husband went for the Pad Thai with chicken, which hit all the right sweet-savory notes. Somehow, this place manages to balance smoky BBQ vibes with authentic Thai spices, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if their kitchen is secretly run by a team of flavor wizards. 10/10, would happily come back for round two (and maybe sneak a bite of the BBQ next time)!

ordered for pickup a noodle dish, and a tom yum soup dish to go. you put both in the same to-go bag. when i got home and opened it up; the soup gushed out all over my living room floor. please put soups and entrees in separate bags. not happy

I was a little confused about the Thai element to this BBQ place. I decided to play it safe and get the pulled pork sandwich lunch. I tried the baked beans and mac and cheese. I loved the BBQ sauce they have, and the sides were hot and good. I'm ready for a nap 😴

The food was delicious! We ordered the Masaman Curry, and the portions are pretty large. I also had a Thai Tea, and it was also a generous size for the price.

Went to Alisha today first time in years. Talked to one of the new owners(probably not too new) as I said have not been there in years. The food was amazing!! The Thai food was flavorful, spicy but not too spicy. The Brunswick stew was outstanding! The hospitality was through the roof. I will definitely be going back. I can see this place becoming regular spot for me.

Was a little skeptical with the Thai BBQ combination. After hearing the neat story it all made sense. Very friendly staff/owners. We had Thai this time, but will be back to try BBQ. Good size portions and very good food. You can tell the owners are passionate about their food and restaurant. Highly recommend stopping here.

Have tried the place a couple times. 1st time we tried the BBQ, food was delicious and the service from the guy was impeccable. 2nd visit we called in an order of pepper steak and while it was also delicious it was not worth $23 for the dish and large drink. It makes sense now why there prices are not on the online menu. I have heard this from other people that quit going due to the Thai prices but I didn’t think pepper steak would be $18.

Wow. I just had the drunken noodles with chicken, and it was so flavorful. I like that you can choose the level of spicy that you want for your noodles. I will definitely be back to try some other Thai delicacies!

I work at goodwill and I just tried this place two days ago….. this place is amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I just might go broke because of this place. It’s too GOOD. I want it everyday now… love the options… the BBQ is amazing but also LOVE the PHO. I use to live in Duluth.. so PHO was everywhere. After moving to Cartersville didn’t think I would get to have it again. This place has the best PHO I’ve ever had. I’ve had it alot… nothing Compares to this place. The serving sizes are great! The customer service is amazing…I mean both ends. Front of staff to back of staff. They’re all nice and I’ve worked in food. I’m extremely Surprised that both ends are so nice and caring cuz working in food is hard. I want to try everything here and I will be dropping my cash at this spot.

I got the Brisket plate with Honey BBQ sauce, Bbq baked beans and Mac n cheese. It was DELICIOUS!!!! I also tried the passion fruit lemonade. I got me 2 bottles it’s AMAZING!!!!! I’ll definitely be back before I have to head back home in 2 weeks.

You must go here. I don’t care if you don’t like Thai food, get the BBQ, it’s delicious. But if you do like Thai, get it, I did and it’s delicious. Keep in mind they are serious about their heat levels. Hot is actually HOT. Portions are huge as well. You will be taking some back with you to eat later. All in all, good food, good prices, and great portions.

Let’s start by saying I’m a foodie. Coming from a big city like NYC, my standards are high when it comes to Thai food. Alicia’s Kitchen did not disappoint when it comes to flavor. You can set your own heat level from 1-4 (1 being mild). I ordered Basil stir fry and Pad Thai and let me say it was one of the best food I’ve had in ages. They will be on my regular rotation for when I dine out.

I ordered beef but look at it,it's white like pork. I had asked the server and he said beef and the owner came and asked me was everything ok and once again I told her I had ordered beef but there's 2 colored meat and she said it's beef that's how it looks! First time dining in at this restaurant, but we have ordered takeout previously and everything we tried was delicious! Hubby and I both got Pork Pad Thai! And we also ordered fresh spring rolls and they were able to customize the dipping sauce more towards our liking (thinner fish sauce rather than thick peanut butter). Hubby also ordered pho and it was so good! I ordered Tom Kha to go so I can eat it for lunch tomorrow. Everything was authentic, delicious and the service was top notch!

Food was mediocre at best. Dry, cold, and weird portions. They also got our order wrong despite us ordering online. The atmosphere here is also... strange and unwelcoming. I don't know whose idea it was to do karaoke in a place like this, but it wasn't a good one.

Their pho is also overpriced and not authentic. Go to any number of pho places through Marietta, Kennesaw, or into Gwinnett. Avoid theirs.

Tai: 8/10...all really really good!! We ordered 4 different Thai plates, all were fantastic!!

BBQ: 2/10... the ribs were old and had zero moisture. I asked if the ribs were spare or baby back; was told they were baby backs - they were spare.

The brisket was the same, old and zero moisture. The BBQ sauces were good but couldn't mask how dry the meat was.

Sides were great. Baked beans were great as was the mac n cheese. I would def eat these again.

We spent $160 on food and had to give the BBQ meats to the dogs, which was truly disappointing.

Took about 20 min, which was great and that was communicated even we ordered.

Overall, 5/10. Not worth the money but we would go back for Thai. Much better options for BBQ.

Dang good brisket and drunken Thai noodles. My plate is an infusion of the best of both worlds and set to the spice level of my choice (1-5). Menu hack is to order brisket sandwich without the bun & drunken noodles without meat then topping your noodles with brisket.

But talking with another customer inside, she recommended a few things from the thia menu. So it must be good as well.

It was my first time trying this place. I had the Thai garlic stir fry with chicken and the cucumber salad and both were absolutely delicious. Pleasantly surprised to have such good Thai food from a BBQ restaurant in Cartersville. I would definitely eat there again.

I guess a lot of people don’t know that other countries have their own take on “pho” as well. Yes it originated in Vietnam, but other countries like Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, we all have our diff styles of pho as well. Just like her ad stated, “Thai soups” not trying to offend Vietnamese pho or anything, we call our noodle soups in Thailand and Laos, “Pho” too. it’s just an ad… People are so sensitive. The owner herself is Asian, and it’s so sad to see our own Asians against other Asians on your ad. We’re all trying our best to make it out here and feed our families. So sorry that you’re dealing with this. I will definitely be visiting your restaurant when I am in the area! Good luck 🍀 and stay positive! Ignore the haters! 🙏

It's so sad that people are making false bad reviews because of a sign that a customer made for the business which had a pun in it. 1st, I must say it takes guts to add thai food to the menu at a bbq place! 2nd to pull it off is a whole lot harder than just gutsy!!!
"Congrats Alicia's did it"! We had to try it, with very low expectations we placed a big order to simply hope for one or two items we might like a little! Well the rice dishes, noodle dishes were all Excellent!!!
We ordered the appetizer combo not so good (Our fault, should never order fried for take out, did not even try it).
The only issue was we ordered level 2 spice on one of the dishes and it was more like a level 6!!
All in all a great experience, give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

The owner has included a full Thai food menu. It's kind of confusing, I think it's called Thai Mango, but inside a place called Alisha's Barbeque. Nonetheless, it is really, really good Thai food. I've only had 3 things from there but being Thai myself, I can say the flavors.were authentic. The 3 things I had were superb and fresh. I can't wait to try more.

My only complaint is that I ordered the medium spice because I know how Thai is, but it was more mild. And the side of hot chili sauce was not spicy in any way, only sweet. I am very disappointed that for the second time I received a to-go: fully loaded barbeque baked potato, that was burnt, dried up and old! This is offensive, shows a lack of care and concern and respect for their to go customers who may get home and find such negligence and lack of quality of their food! So disappointing!

I had several trips to this restaurant in hopes of trying their ribs. Unfortunately they never had any available no matter how early I came in. The sides I did have and tried were tasty and cooked well. The "brisket" looked and tasted more like pot roast to me. The customer service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and well run.

I typically have enjoyed my meals here, but my latest experience was not so good, unfortunately. I couldn't even eat my food. The bbq sauce was extremely way too sweet and it ruined it. I know bbq sauce has a sweetness to it but this was like someone poured pancake syrup on my briscuit. I will try it again in a few months to see if it gets better again.

I was in the area for a sporting event & pulled up restaurants near me. When I saw my name I had to go.
I had the Monster baked potato w/brisket & it was delicious. This is the best BBQ I have had in a while. Misty greeted us as we entered & came over to check on us.
When I come back to Cartersville I will definitely go back to Alisha's!!!!

Phenomenal sampler platter at this place today. Unbelievable taste in great value. Also, the servers were very friendly. Definitely recommend this place for anybody visiting or even the locals.

BBq was really good..

Used to love this place and would recommend it to everyone. Not so much anymore. Had a bad experience last time but decided to take my mom this afternoon. 1 person in line. Hit the buzzer, was told to wait a few minutes. Waited 10min. No big deal, usually a wait & I don't mind it. Told to pull up to the window to order, was told they have no pork. Again, that's what I wanted, but no big deal. Chicken is just as good. Paid, waited 20min.. then 30min.. then 38min with no word from staff or any staff even visible. From the time I pulled in, to when I left, 48min! And I already paid so.. Best part? We get back & my moms sweet potato fries are luke warm, soggy, and burnt.. luckily there's some other BBQ places because we won't be back.

I love the smoked chicken bowls..omg!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!! I usually stop by 2-3x a week for my lunch break. Keep up the good work! I’m so glad y’all extended your hours too!

Most disgusting bbq I had in my 31 years of living…nasty Mac n cheese and have the nerve to add extra 3bucks fir it.. the only thing that was ok was the baked beans … chicken nasty ribs nasty.. toast even nasty for some expensive food

By far the best brisket in Cartersville. Not only was service outstanding, the quality of food matched!! Hands down recommend the BBQ Mac and cheese.

So glad we found this hidden gem! In town for a baseball tournament and wanted to eat local, so glad we did. The variety of food options was great and the staff was so helpful and nice. The quality of the food was top notch! The meat was tender and delicious! We left nothing. 🙂 We will be back next time we are in town and we highly recommend for anyone to stop in. Support local business, it is worth it!

Amazing food and amazing staff! Would 10/10 recommend this place to anybody but the hours of operation suck, people who work such as myself can’t ever enjoy this place due to their hours… other than that, no complaints from me

Fantastic food and staff. Although their lobby was not open, they permitted me to come in and order. Then they let me sit and eat at a table. I was in my 18 wheeler and there was no way for me to go thru the drive thru. This was extraordinary to me. I have been set away by many restaurants for this same reason. On top of that the food is spectacular, not just good.

Friendly staff, great food, good serving size. Stopped here passing through. Will be coming back soon.

Yesterday was the second time I’ve been lucky enough to eat their delicious BBQ- but the first time picking it up for myself. I got the meet a member of their staff, Ashton, who is beyond friendly and these days? That’s extremely hard to find; y’all need to keep her! Today, I picked up the rack of ribs I ordered in advance yesterday!!! The meat is juicy, tender and falls right off the bone! I may possibly place a standing order once a week 😂😂😂. But seriously though- give this place a shot! They’re awesome!

The absolute best bbq I’ve ever had! First time here today and I was not disappointed. The staff was very sweet and the pork sandwich and Brunswick stew was amazing!

We drove all the way from Florida to try out this restaurant. Food is EXCELLENT!! We will be back again.

The meats are smoked to perfection. You can't pass on the loaded potato either. That's another favorite. Rubs and sauces are yummy. Call ahead to order and it'll be ready for eating. ❤😋

Literally the worst BBQ I’ve had in my life. I wouldn’t feed this to the homeless. Go to Fire It Up, Shane’s, or anywhere else. Do not support cheap food.
