Buffet at Asia
📍 Address: 1518 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Note: There are three locations with the same name, but the one in the West area is slightly more expensive compared to the others. It’d be interesting to find out what makes it different!
Special Recommendation: Fried Frog Legs
For a unique culinary experience, try the Fried Frog Legs! With their tender texture and distinct flavor, they’re often considered a delicacy that rivals chicken. If you're up for a new taste adventure, don't miss this dish!
I was craving mainland American Chinese food today and found a place on Google Maps with a 4.0 rating and 570 reviews, which seemed like a good choice. Don’t quote me on this, but I think this place used to be under different management and had a different name.
I first pulled into the parking lot around 11 o’clock. It wasn’t too busy, and since I wasn’t hungry, I left and came back an hour and a half later. By then, the parking lot was pretty full, so I parked in the additional parking at the back. Once I got in, I didn’t have to wait. I prepaid $15, and the 11% service charge plus tax brought my total to $18.05. Their sign says no tipping is required because they already charge a service fee. I think this policy enhances the dining experience, as it removes the ambiguity of tipping at a buffet or takeout place. However, I did notice the table next to me leaving an extra tip, whether because they misread the note or simply wanted to express gratitude.
The food was quite good. I tried to sample a little of everything, but there were too many items to try them all. The standout dishes that are still on my mind include the shrimp, salmon sushi, barbecue pork, doughnut, egg roll, and a sip of egg drop soup, which was really good. I wanted more but was too full. All the dishes were fresh and of good quality, and I noticed staff replenishing the food as I served myself.
One feature I particularly liked about this place is that drinks are included in the buffet. At some Chinese restaurants, you have to pay extra for beverages, but this place even offered hot tea, which was a nice perk since I wasn’t in the mood for soda or a cold drink on a chilly winter day.
The restaurant was packed with people coming and going, yet the buffet wasn’t overly crowded, making it easy to get food. I saw in the reviews that some people had to wait to get in, but that wasn’t the case during my visit.
There’s plenty of parking, and both cash and credit are accepted. However, I didn’t notice any signage regarding price differences between cash and credit, or details on weekday versus weekend lunch or dinner pricing.
This buffet now has a heart mark on my Google Maps for the next time I crave Chinese food. I will definitely come back!
I just ate here and had a great lunch. Although there was a line to get in, I loved the selection of food and especially the sushi and rice. They were prepared well and was pretty tasty. The service is fast and the restaurant itself was clean. I would come back next time if I came to Vegas.
It’s definitely worth the price. The seafood and sushi were great! It’s a reasonable price compared to the food on the strip! They even serve salmon sashimi and fried salt and pepper frog legs, which are impressive given the price they charge! By the way, the beef bone soup was so delicious! We will go back for sure!
1st time here since the move. The atmosphere is greatly improved. It is brighter. The serving stations are chrome and look much nicer. Staff is still the same, very friendly and attentive folks. The food is maybe even better than before. Huge buffet selections. My only disappointment is that they still do not have, nor provide any pepper, white or black. I enjoy peppers, and this has been a problem at this buffet even before the move. It is now on the same level of quality and service as the location on the west side of Vegas.
Best chinese buffet Ive ever had! Good quality food, nice selection, very fair pricing! I wish I could have eaten more it was so good!
Very good service never had to wait for a drink refill or napkin, tips already built into the price to simplify things.
I will definitely go back to this buffet next time Im in town!
Good value and the food was better than what we expected 😋.
LUNCH: $14.95 + 11% mandatory tip + tax.
We ate dinner here right before they were closing at 9pm on an Easter Sunday.
My favorite thing here was the sushi bar where they had salmon sashimi.
My friend loved the crab legs. People went wild for the crab legs and they were rationing them out to one plate per person per trip to the counter. You can still get all you can eat crab 🦀, but you can't pile them up on your plate(s).
The service was super fast. They were there to take away your empty plates as soon as they were finished.
The drinks are included in the price. They had you typical sodas and iced tea. They sell boba drinks too for $3.52 per drink. I attached a photo of the selection.
The desserts were plentiful. My only complaint is the soft serve ice cream in a cone. That was flavorless and tasted like ice milk.
The dining room was clean, and people were constantly cleaning up the tables. This is a newer location than previously where they were located down the street. That was an older building and less maintained than this newer one.
So definitely five stars for this buffet if they keep the prices reasonable.
A good restaurant
It’s been years since we’ve eaten at Buffet of Asia. I’m a bit disappointed that the foods were pretty cold & really salty. You can taste the extra sprinkled salt, which I hate it. So, I didn’t have a second. I just could not tolerate how salty the foods were. The orange chicken was cold & all you can taste was the battered there was no chicken.
I’m also disappointed that they include the service charge of 11% right on the bill as you pay even though you give a tip after you eat.
First off, no discount for military or first responders. Second, they are now charging 11% for service, whether the service is good or not, and it was not! Third, their POS (Point of Sale) is very limited to certain credit cards. Fourth, very limited on food selection. This is definitely my first and last time I’m coming here!
I visited Buffet Asia on Flamingo Road around 4:30 PM, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The service stood out right away—staff were attentive and made sure all the food stations were consistently refilled and everything remained clean. It seems like this might be a newer location since the space felt modern, very spacious, and well-maintained.
The food quality was solid. Everything I tried was fresh, especially the sushi, which was one of the highlights of the buffet. The salad selection was also good, offering a fresh and diverse range of options. However, I did feel that the beef selection could be expanded a bit—it felt limited compared to other sections.
In terms of pricing, the drink was included in the menu, which was nice. However, after taxes and the automatically included 11% tip, the total came out to just over $30 for one person. While the service was good enough that I left an additional tip, I still think the price felt a little steep for what was offered. Ideally, I believe the price should be closer to $25, especially for a solo diner. But it’s worth noting that this might be due to weekend pricing since they offer crab legs during weekends, though I didn’t try them this time.
Overall, the cleanliness, attentive service, and fresh food made it a good experience. The price is my only real concern, but given the good service and quality, it was still worth the visit.
My experience here was not great. All food that I tried is oily- lobster , frog legs, shrimp are oily and I saw a lady using her hands to grab food- no manners. I will not go back again.
Clean restaurant and delicious food.
Maravilloso todo excelente felicitaciones para ese colectivo gracias
$38 for two people for lunch buffet during the week. It included drinks and service fee. The food is typical Chinese buffet food. I do especially appreciate all the vegetables and fruits available. So nice to see tofu and broccoli. Much better value and variety than Mala Town.
Me encantó la comida buffet de este restaurante aunque no tienen postres
Bueno
Delicious and fresh food, with a great variety. It’s no wonder this place was packed.
Las cajeras muy pésimas. La comida helada y sin sabor definitivamente no volvería 😔 ni barato que estuviera para recibir tan mal servicio
Food was meh.
If you are a tourist and live in a small town that has no culinary amenities you may enjoy this place but if your on a trip to Vegas and want a good buffet this is not the one! Actually go anywhere else hell go to Panda before spending 40 a person for this rubbish.
Creo que se pasaron con el precio de $33 por persona. Malo
Food is fresh and good!
Great bang for your buck. Such a great selection of buffet items.
The cost for 1 person on a Tuesday night- $23.46
Recommendation- avoid
The selection isn't the most spectacular in comparison to other buffets. Very limited selection that left little to be desired. A majority of what is offered is seafood, but mainly variations of flavored shrimp. The egg noodles had a very dark color and burnt taste, but was also cold. The egg drop soup had undercooked veggies in it like they had microwaved them from a can and blended them in. The ribs are very rubbery, been chewing on this current piece for the better part of a couple minutes. I onky give them an additional food star for their sushi selection however, because it is extensive. I cannot justify the price to quality overall.
Food is always delicious, service id great, I’ve tried other Asian restaurants, this is by far the best!
Urban location. In 2023 this franchise took over the property. Gave it a facelift. The staff is attentive. The food is average. We go on weekend evenings for the seafood night. Which is competitively priced.
Good food, good price
Not fancy but the food is very good. With lots of traditional items. The atmosphere is simple. Staff is very attentive. We cone here often.
Went on a Monday for dinner and the food was disappointing. Many of the things were overly salty and the variety was not good as well. It's been a while since I ate here and I think it's my last time. About $24 for dinner, I can spend that at a decent restaurant with quality food.
Been coming for years. NEVER AGAIN! Food sucks, price jumped $12 for two (48.99). Things dont taste as good. One more money-grubbing company going out of bisiness soon!!!
Great food and reasonable prices. But they kept trying to take my plate before I was thru. Also when my friend asked for tea, she said but you're drinking coffee. They did finally bring it but wow.
Buena
The was delicious and plenty of it. I'd go.more often but when I do, I eat too much. Highly recommended.
Very good 👍
Love the fried shrimp hot , and clean fresh food continuously came out
Good food and reasonably priced for Vegas, does get busy which is always a good sign. Food is fresh, hot and kept topped up.
This place was pretty good, it was my second time here and it is clean and well stocked with fresh food. The only down side is the cashier pushes hard to be paid in cash.

Good food so it’s always overly packed specially on the weekends. Only thing that sucks is that now they charge the tip/“service charge” when you pay so the waiters hardly come check on you for drinks.
Very clean and good food.
Only draw back was the long wait time. They choose the tip amount for you.
Excellent buffet, the food is great and it's fresh, there's always plenty of food and the service is great, I enjoy coming here to eat but it can get busy, sometimes there's not a lot of parking available but it doesn't take long before a spot opens up, this is one great buffet in my opinion.
Amazing Option for Lunch and dinner... Price is Good and menu is great
Very busy restaurant, but it is understandable. Food is hot, sushi made in front of you. Staff is constantly checking patrons' needs and food freshness.
Way over priced $48.50 for two people. Food is lack luster.

Now in this place it's mandatory bring tips
In my opinion the is depends the service but now is mandatory
Buena comida acorde al precio, bien concirrido el local pero es lógico con lo buena que esta la oferta
The place is not clean! The girl at the entrace very desperate to take your money! Not worth it
Nice people, great customer service, and the delicious food
Todo muy bien, sólo faltan postres
Me encantó, lo recomiendo 100%
I enjoy eating here
They charge for dinner but never change the food
We dine here on a Sunday. Food was great especially the snow crab. Compliment for the nice lady serving the snow crab- always smiling. The rest of the staff were very efficient despite of a very busy time. Definitely will recommend…
Just what I was looking for.... great food and good quality and value.
Not good 👎
Food was good, especially for the price point. I came in during lunch. I enjoyed the sushi options and most dishes were fine, but dessert offerings were weak. The soft serve cones were stale.
I would come back again; just beware of an 11% service charge, which is not made clear before paying, and is also taxed.
A very simple restaurant with regular food. It is OK for a quick meal, but not a place to visit very often.
Great food and value.
The food has a very good taste! I loved the beef soup and the seasoning 🧂 they use for the seafood 🍤! I recommend the place. It’s not pricey and the service and food it’s good 😊.
The food was not tasty and lacked a variety of options that were told to us when my husband called. The room was cramped as tables were placed too close together. Our waitress was a good server, which is probably the only good thing we could say
They charge 11% service charge, that’s illegal!
Prices are not accurate even called ahead just scamming people old loyal customers aswell it’s disgusting
Avoid lie about price try and charge you double!! This place has changed will never come here again?
I just ate here and had a great lunch. Although there was a line to get in, I loved the selection of food and especially the sushi and rice. They were prepared well and was pretty tasty. The service is fast and the restaurant itself was clean. I would come back next time if I came to Vegas.
It was very good we got crab legs. And lobster the whole package
Always delicious
Food here is always great. Everything taste amazing. There is a huge variety of food. They also do sushi and have a spot where you pick your noodles and meat and have it cooked for you. Staff is friendly and do well to make sure your drinks are topped off and plates are cleared.
Food ok, good price.
The chicken with the jalapeños is deceptively spicy and exceptionally delicious. The soups are satiating and unique, yet familiar, an elevated version of the usual American Chinese food. The meats are cooked and spiced well, if not slightly on the bland side- enhanced by combining with the soup options. The egg rolls and dumplings are all superb and could not easily be improved upon. The pineapple mango jelly is the star of the show. The fresh fruit offers a much needed palate cleanser for spicy and salty flavors. While the fried rice and noodles are good, the filling carbs are not worth it- would recommend instead the sesame and red bean mochi, a bit of sugary crunch inbetween heavy main dishes. If you order the hot tea you will receive a steaming teapot of jasmine green tea, brewed exactly the same as you’d be served at your Chinese friends house during a visit, it’s more floral than herbal. Lightly caffeinated, you can down the whole pot as it cools.
@asia gets five stars for the sake of it possibly being the best “bang for your buck” in the city.
Es mi lugar preferido para comer mariscos...
para nada me gustó
La comida no es fresca y no sabía nada bien…
Los empleados te atienden bien eso si
가격대비해 흥미로운 먹거리가 많은부폐
Fresh food, wide variety. Unchewable ribs.
Great place to get lunch. Love that a drink is included. Service is great too.
Food quality has suffered lately. Also, the sushi choices should be labeled. The service was excellent!
在LV性价比超高的自助餐厅
This place much better than China star
Highly recommend this place. For the price you can’t beat it for dinner. Crab, lobster, oysters, chicken on a stick tender not tough. Fried chicken, soups, and all that you can expect from an Asian buffet. First time and was impressed. Service is very accommodating. Food is very good. Great selection. Not too salty was a plus.
I love it.
I go there as much as possible
Great food, great service great atmosphere.
I'm on my way there now
별로 입니다. 음식에서 이상한 냄새가 나는 음식이 많고, 그래도 새우튀김이 괜찮아요.
Would give it 4 if it had a bigger selection, I really liked the calamari and clams. There were some good pieces of sushi but for the price I’d rather go to ayce sushi if that’s what I want to eat. We went on a Friday night for crab legs and we ended up deciding not to get any so I wished we would’ve gone on a cheaper time.
Excellent value. Food was piping hot and replenished often. Not a huge buffet by any means but that’s a good thing as they can focus on the items they have. Definitely worth the visit
Aweful place, they charged me 4 % on credit card fees without disclosing to me
Everyone in Vegas , STOP GOING THERE!
Apart from being thieves, they are rude and racist towards Hispanics. I had to ask one of the rude managers to return my money because I did not feel comfortable in that place. Check your bank accounts because they charge you double
Above average Chinese buffet. They charge an automatic 11% tip on your bill.
My family and I use to come here twice a week. Food is decent for the price but now they wanna automatically add 11% tips to our bill no matter how many people you have. Tipping is suppose to be optional and we usually leave a good tip even though its a buffet and we’re serving ourselves. So now we just go eat somewhere else. Wouldn’t be returning here anymore.
Visiting Nevada from Connecticut..
Big fan of 🇨🇳 buffet & Asian cusine in general. This is the best one I've been to! Enormoys variety of choices, even have gourmet sushi 👍
Always packed, because good quality & service 👍👍
No crab leg on tuesday night, a little bit disappointed
It’s definitely worth the price. The seafood and sushi were great! It’s a reasonable price compared to the food on the strip! They even serve salmon sashimi and fried salt and pepper frog legs, which are impressive given the price they charge! By the way, the beef bone soup was so delicious! We will go back for sure!
My entire family got food poisoning. Last time we will be eating at any buffet. If it smells and looks questionable do yourself a favor and go with your instincts. I’m regretting the decision I made to give them a shot despite food not being appealing. The signs should have been my red flag. It was something along the lines of: To conserve food you must finish your plate or be charged per plate…🤢 I don’t recommend anyone with a weak stomach going, especially young children. My son’s been puking for the last 24 hours. Never again.
Mi experiencia fue mala. Estaba asiendo línea para poder agarrar algo. Llego un empleado co. Los platos y me pego con el carrito para quitarme del lugar. 😔
Si tu hijo tiene 10 años te cobran como adulto
Never dissatisfied, always great
value !
The hot dishes are hot and the sushi, salads & desserts are cold!
Delicious
This place stopped giving a senior discount. Automatically charges 11% gratuity for a buffet, I'm not sure if it's reasonable.
On point very large sushi area and fresh food on a good rotation.
I am visiting from CA and tried this place. Price point was very fair. Food was ok. Service was great.
It lost a star on service only because it's a buffet
Food is delicious and it's very bright and looks clean
Great buffet, we eat here once or twice every time we're in Vegas, which is at least once a year. They usually have beef ribs and frog legs, and multiple sushi but the sashimi was huge this year. Can't wait to go back.
Good food, not going to win any prizes but good.
24 dollars Thursday evening......1 person.... nah no thnx...i ain't cheap but im also not stupid
Food was typical for a Chinese buffet, lobster was the main attraction, but it was often overcooked. The restaurant starts to get crowded around 5:00 to 7:00 pm dinner time, had about a 20 minute wait.
Definitely a place to go if you want all you can eat Asian food. Service is quick more space. Always gets packed too well when I went on a Sunday it got pretty busy around 5 or 6.
Sus cambios de cobró son muy cambiables
Not a fan but cheap food for a cheap price
You get what you get
Love this place but it's crowded most times. The food is good.
Great food
Food is good, just not always labeled or not labled correctly.
Service is very good. It's very clean & food is kept at a safe temperature
I recently dined at Buffet @ Asia, and my experience was far from pleasant. First and foremost, I was shocked to find that I was overcharged for my meal. I had expected a reasonable price based on their menu, but the final bill was much higher than anticipated. We got there for lunch and was charged for dinner. We waited in line for way too long and that cost us more. When we told them that they over charged us they said they couldn’t do anything about it cause it was the register that did it but come on the type of register they use are not going to automatically input the price. They have to physically press the button to charge you the price, they just didn’t want to adjust it despite them being wrong. They have no shame in over charging a person in this economy. Not cool!
To make matters worse, I felt constantly watched by the staff, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. It seemed like they were hovering over our table, ready to pounce as soon as we finished a dish. This lack of privacy really detracted from the enjoyment of our meal.
Overall, I left feeling disappointed and uneasy. I wouldn’t recommend Buffet @ Asia unless you enjoy being overcharged and scrutinized throughout your meal.
I do not recommend this place at all. The food is nasty, it lacks flavor and tastes old. The staff is not friendly at all and they were very rude and not very accommodating. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere.
I recently visited Buffet @ Asia, and it was a complete letdown. First, we were overcharged without any explanation, which felt incredibly deceptive. We had gotten there for lunch but we were charged for dinner and didn’t even get to enjoy to dinner food options. The food was a disaster—dry sushi, bland fried rice, and rubbery spring rolls that tasted like they were reheated from yesterday. There wasn’t much to choose from. The stir-fry looked unappetizing and lacked any real flavor. To make matters worse, the service was abysmal; our server disappeared for long stretches, leaving us without drinks and silverware. The chaotic atmosphere only added to the disappointment. Overall, it was an overpriced, underwhelming experience that I won’t be repeating. Avoid this place at all costs!
I wouldn't recommend you either take it out or eat it there it's horrible
Pretty good food here.I like the sushi selection. They add 11% tip automatically to your bill , Then They don't want a more tip. I actually did tip them more at the end because of the decent service. I think they should just leave the tip amount UP 2 the customers. Tip is not obligated, It's a reward for good service.
I come to this place almost every time I'm in Vegas. Super affordable, which usually means mediocre food, doesn't apply here. Is it the best food you've ever had? No, but it still deserves the 5 stars. It's pretty much always busy, so the wait staff isn't really concerned with people besides refilling their drinks. They've updated since I was there last but still great pricing and a lot of good food. The non dairy ice cream always kills me at these places, though.
The food was good the staff was great only issue i had was there was not alot of variety they had fried rice but i didnt see lomien they had orange chixken but no general tso's it seemed like there was more sides and fruit then actual chinese food i will say however the sushi was bomb diggity
No taste.
Good value and the food was better than what we expected 😋.

We ate dinner here right before they were closing at 9pm on an Easter Sunday.

So definitely five stars for this buffet if they keep the prices reasonable.
Great food Highly Recommend
Food is super good.
Good asian buffet for the price nowdays
That good place for a all you can eat for a money. Good service, a lot off food but nothing exceptional.
Exelente buffet de comida Asiática....
We ate here at lunch time. The food was being replenished often so it was always fresh and hot. Good selection of sushi. They had a couple seafood dishes that were good also.
**Buffet at Asia - 2/5 Stars**
Unfortunately, my experience at Buffet at Asia was underwhelming.
**Food (2/5):** The food was not up to the standard I had hoped for. While there were a few decent items, such as the fried rice, most of the dishes lacked freshness and flavor. Some of the food felt like it had been sitting out for too long, which affected the overall experience. There was a good variety, but the quality just wasn’t there.
**Service (3/5):** The service was average. The staff was polite, but there wasn’t much interaction beyond the basics. While they kept the buffet stocked and the tables cleared, there wasn't much in terms of attentiveness or going the extra mile.
**Atmosphere (3/5):** The atmosphere was okay—nothing particularly special, but it was clean and well-lit. The layout was a bit cramped, and during peak hours, it got quite noisy, which took away from the overall dining experience.
In summary, Buffet at Asia has potential, but it falls short in terms of food quality and overall experience. For the price, I expected better freshness and flavor. Hopefully, improvements can be made to make it a more enjoyable visit in the future.
