The food and customer service here was amazing. The restaurant was very cute and cozy. My sister and I went there on 2/15/24 we were greeted by Gunner who was very nice and accommodating. We ordered beef jerky,seafood rice, Thai Boba tea and Singapore noodles. This was some of the BEST THAI food I have had and I love Thai so this is saying a lot! Gunner provided EXCELLENT service while we were there, I would definitely recommend this place over and over again. Will be ordering from them from now on. One of the cooks actually came out and we spoke to him, they were wonderful as well. LOVED EVERYTHING, if you are in the area you should definitely go for the best Thai food around.

I went back and tried a few favorite Thai dishes of mine, like Pak Kee Mow Mama Pam's has the best btw) and it was pretty yummy, but beware, it comes with jalapeños cut up (seeds included) in the mix (yes, the pic shows me picking some put of my diah 😂 Im a wuss), which makes your sinuses drip the entire time you eat lol the fried wanton were tasty as well, I really like the homemade sweet n sour sauce here.

I order spring rolls and Crab Rangoon everywhere I go. These were the best I've ever had in Vegas. Hands down! I also tried the Singapore Noodles. FABULOUS! I highly recommend this place! Also the Thai Tea was just as delicious as the rest of the food.

Hidden gem

New restaurant for my wife and I. We heard about this from friends who had a wonderful experience. We both really enjoyed the service and the food was excellent. Very very nice people. We will certainly be coming here many times in the future.

My experience here was 5 stars across the board... food was so delicious service was very nice and its a quiet corner little place... the lady next us kept telling the cook how delious her meal was. Will go back over and over.

Newly renovated Thai Cuisine under new management. Great food and lunch specials! Very flavorful, and very good service.

A couple of things. They proudly display “Best of Vegas 2000” near their front door. That was 23 years ago…. they should remove that. Also, the light bulbs inside while eating at night are too bright and too white like a hospital. They should swap them for warm white bulbs. Otherwise, the new restaurant is great!

Food is delish! They take care of whatever needs you have. I go there mostly for the lunch special. It used to be $6 something but the cost of food went up so did their's. Big portions for what your paying.

Really Good Food. Really Nice Service. If anything, the lack of description for what exactly is in each dish. No description of what vegetables, how spicy something is (there's a scale of 1-10 with no indication of where on that scale each dish is) and what the Thai Salads and Curries are specifically (especially because those are usually very specific). Otherwise, it tastes pretty good.

this place is great, whenever I'm in the mood for Thai food for dinner, I always go there, the prices are reasonable and the portions are good size, (I end up taking to-go boxes) the waitress is always friendly and the food is yummy 😋 Super recommended (the place itself needs some upgrading but I'm not there for the decor) 🙃

This place is a diamond in the rough. Although not so busy because of our pandemic they should be considered . I've lived in Las Vegas for just going on 47 yrs. and I've yet to have anything but a wonderful meal here. I usually start with satay chicken for an appetizer with a peanut sauce, I like so for table their combo fried rice (comes with shrimp, chicken, and beef in it) introduced it to friends from other states and when they want Thai or Chinese they say let's go there! Selection is huge. Curries are great they'll ask what heat factor on hot items. Yes they have an assortment of beer etc. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You'll also walk out without having spent money you couldn't afford. I take Alot of mine to go home and have again.

Was a really small place very quiet when we went in must've been the time frame. Food came quickly starting with the soup. Plate size for lunch was perfect and we had mango sticky rice for dessert. Food was a great price and tasted delicious. We will be coming back!

This place was HORRIBLE. Spent $70 on dinner. The food did not taste like it should. My wife and daughter said the noodles dish they got was good. But the rest was pretty nasty. You try it once and never go back. Stay away people. Unless you just want to fill your trash can with money by throwing this away. Which is what we did.

Went there twice, both times the place was empty - BUT! - the food was awesome. At first I was concerned the meat would not be fresh and for sure I'd have a belly ache but they take pride in their food and it was great. Last visit I had the Yellow Curry (#6 spicy) with beef and I'm hooked. It was almost soupy but apparently that's how it's supposed to be - and didn't matter anyway once I added the rice. Seriously want it every day of my life.

Update: This place turned into a regular spot. My husband is addicted to the shrimp pad see ew (spice level 10) and I still can't get enough of the yellow curry (although I get it with veggies now and upped my spice game to 8). Honestly, this restaurant is our favorite even though we've lived across town for the past few years. Any time we are in Henderson is an excuse to get Bangkok Orchid.

This place before covid was great. Now I suggest you go elsewhere. Food is over priced and terrible now. Chicken was old. And filled with sprouts. Just wasn't what it used to be and not worth the money.

The single worst food experience Ive had. Have eaten all around the world. Chicken was similar to McDonald's and very over priced.

Last time I went there , food was terrible and service was really slow. I don't know if this place change ownership or not but I havn't been back in a long time. The building is old and inside really need renovation.

My brother found this place yesterday and picked up dinner. I have a sensitive stomach so I was hesitant to try it.... it was AMAZING! Wasn't greasy or upsetting to my stomach, taste very homemade and clean. This is a hidden gem and is now going to be my go to for Chinese/Thai!

The food at Bangkok Orchid I think it's some of the best in the city of Henderson and Las Vegas. Everything came out hot delicious with generous portions at a very reasonable price. Best of all the restaurant had seating available for our party so we could immediately begin eating that delicious Thai food. Highly recommended. I would put their Thai food up against any in this city cuz I believe it is some of the best!

I love the chicken pad thai! It's delicious, my only issue is they don't serve it in half portions for dinner. They do a half portion for lunch and it would be nice to have the option when ordering for dinner, to save money and not be wasteful. I find it hard to finish, and it doesn't really keep as a left over. Other then that, we really enjoy ordering from Bangkok Orchid! Highly recommend!

We had a couples massage scheduled for 2 pm.
When we arrived, the English-speaking man stated we had to come back @ 3 pm.
What is the appt time scheduled for, if it's changed when we arrive? 🤔
We didn't have the extra hour to spare so we got to drive over there for the heck of it! Yay!!!!
Oh & we got to spend money on the ever increasing price of fuel for the fun of it!!
This should be a lesson to me, not to book appt with someone that can't understand English.

Old lady taking orders was rude, she didn't handed my debit card on my hand, she rudely through it on the counter for me to get it. The red chicken curry that I order was not fresh at all, veggies were over cooked and mooshy. This place is not what it use to be anymore. Food is not always that fresh or good. You'll be lucky if you get a good dish wich it does happened once in a while but not all the time, and I rather not take my chances with them anymore.

Even in the time of COVID, they are still making good food. Dining room was pretty empty but there was a constant stream of folks for pick up/carry out. Service was good, as we've come to expect over the years we've been coming here. Definitely try their curries, all are good. Highly recommend Bangkok Orchid!

Food is good but place needs a makeover

It was pretty nice and they have their lunch special the whole day until further notice. Its pretty decent. It includes a spring roll, soup, salad, fried rice (which is like brown plain rice) main course and a fortune cookie all for $7.99 I believe plus your lovely taxes.
The food has changed a little since the last time we were there but all in all it was tasty.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years. It was a routine to come have lunch with my sister and grandma every Friday after school, once we graduated my sister and I would still come and to this day it’s still one of my favorite restaurants. Amazing food and amazing staff. Thank you guys!!

I used to give this place 4 stars and ate there 1-2 times per week. My last few visits have been very, VERY bad though. When I ordered and was asked how spicy on a scale of 1 to 10, I said "2, not spicy." I then got the spiciest meal I've ever had! I could only take 2 bites. I told the waitress it was a mistake and they did nothing to fix it. It all went to waste and they gave me the regular bill.
I avoided the place for a month and tried once more as take-out yesterday because I was starving and nearby. When I got home, I found TWO LONG HAIRS in the food. (See picture!) I know it could be worse, but still gross. And how can you not see this as you're cooking or packaging the meal?! I was so hungry I had to pull the hairs out and eat as much as I could stomach anyway. Disgusting feeling!
When I told a friend about it, she told me she stopped eating there when she found a ROACH cooked into her meal in the past. Wow!!
I don't like wasting my time and money on food that is made the wrong way or contains hairs and bugs. They really need to do better.

I have lived in Henderson for over a year and out of all the Thai restaurants in the area this place is the best! The food taste authentic like I’m sitting in a restaurant in Bangkok having lunch authentic. Plus I always receive fast and friendly service and the food is not expensive so I can eat a few of my favorite Thai dishes like Panang Curry and Pineapple fried rice. WoW I’m making myself hungry, now I’m probably gonna have to eat lunch there tomorrow!!!

I had a hair in my food

Bangkok Orchid is our go-to Thai food restaurant in our area. The people are always super friendly and they have stepped up the food quality in the past 6 months or so. We have never had a "bad" dish here, but little details like serving the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken in a separate container, makes that dish appealing to everyone. I never liked it before because it was soaked through. Now, I taste some really good fried chicken! The TomKah soup is always my personal barometer for a Thai restaurant and theirs is about as good as any I have ever had. I am preferring it with tofu lately. Lastly, I think most pad thai is a gooey starchy mess, and their's used to be. However, something they changed has also made this universally appealing to our family! We usually order take out, and the bump up to 5 stars is due to the fact that we over-order and can enjoy buffet style for 3 days! In the past, each of us ordered what we preferred and ate our own. Now, everyone enjoys the entire order. Great value. Try them out!

The lack of stars is for terrible/old décor and bad Chinese options like the sweet and sour chicken - like how do you mess that up? The cashew chicken and pork curry lunch specials are good. Stick with Thai lunch specials for a good deal if you are in the area. I would not drive across town for this.

I went here for the first time a few months back, and the food is alright for the price. The only thing some might dislike is the fact the food is served in small servings on a tray similar to those served a school cafeterias. You get what you pay for. Its good though, I reccomened the Pad Thai!

Their pineapple curry is to die for! Ate it twice when on business trip. Took one star off bc they packaged the ice cream with the hot food (take out) and it melted a bunch. Also they put a jam below the ice cream. Gross.

Heartbroken. I went there for lunch and it appears that their prices have gone up. A lunch combo was 7.95 and she had the nerve to charge me a 1.95 for a cup of tea. It was just a China cup with a tea bag in it, and not even a metal teapot that traditionally is no charge. I will not eat there again. Lunch combo with tip close to $14. Beware. There is far better food at a much more reasonable price where they do not fleece their patrons. Besides, their rice tasted way off like it had lard in it.
