BEST place for Thai in Henderson / South East Las Vegas! The staff is friendly, the service is GREAT and the food is amazing! I’ve never had a bad time and I’ve been coming here for 5+ YEARS! The staff remembers my orders, it’s always bustling and busy, the food quality is high. The recipes and clean and tasty and they are accommodating with customization. I love this place so much … I had them cater my birthday, no I’m not exaggerating! It was awesome and all 20+ guests loved it!

The service was fast, friendly, and organized. It was somewhat busy when we came in, but we never felt rushed or forgotten.

This small quaint restaurant provides an atmosphere you need to have an enjoyable lunch or dinner. Our server, Lek, worked continuously to make sure all the customers were happy. The tables were clean and all the food was served properly. It's amazing to find excellent customer service when a place is so busy, but you'll find it here. Thank you Gata Thai, and Lek for making my wife's birthday an excellent experience.

It’s a hole in the wall place but great service and fantastic curry, teriyaki chicken. Don’t go beyond spice level 5 or you’ll be hurting

Fast service and kind servers! The food is little too salty for me so I always ask for my dish to be less salty. Thankfully and gratefully, they would adjust it for you! Must go place in the neighborhood!

I've been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over a year and a half, regularly placing orders over the phone without any issues. However, My recent time I tired to order I was told that my number had been flagged as a scam due to supposed prank calls and uncollected orders by "my husband."

First of all, I don’t have a husband!! lol and I have never prank called or failed to pick up an order. This was a clear mistake, but despite my efforts to clarify the situation, I was unable to place my order.

As someone who has consistently supported this business, I found this experience extremely disappointing. It’s concerning that a long-time customer could be treated this way due to an apparent mix-up. The restaurant needs to improve its system to avoid unfairly penalizing loyal customers.

Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer feel comfortable ordering from this place!

Love coming to this place. The food is great. Reasonably priced, and the only thai place I know, where you can get unlimited free refills on Thai Iced Tea.

I loved this place. The woman working the front counter was very sweet and accommodating. The food was fabulous! I loved the crab Rangoon, not sweet, which is good, and a little spicy, which was unexpected. I will definitely eat here again!

I cannot believe what just happened. I ordered my lunch for pick up so I arrived at the restaurant to pay for my meal and decided that I’d just eat there since I would be eating inside my car anyway. I asked the lady in the front (Pang) if I could eat my pad Thai there and she said sure (this while I’m signing my receipt) She asked if I wanted something to drink, I said a lemonade please. As I’m paying for my lemonade, she said you didn’t give us a tip so you can grab your stuff and leave. I felt embarrassed as this was happening with other people around me. I told her I didn’t tip because I wasn’t planning on eating there at first (I was literally still standing) and I’m honestly running on a low budget, she then responded it is my right to refuse service. You didn’t tip, you can leave. I felt humiliated. Never again am I spending my tiny bit of money in here.

Recently I’ve gone to other Thai restaurants in the area including Pin Kaow (great!) Archi’s (also delicious!) and Thai House (meh)… and then back to Gata. YES, the food is as good as I remember, and it’s simply superior. Best Thai in Green Valley/Henderson. The service is always fast and friendly, and my order is always on time and accurate. Huge fan!

Food is okay. My meal was overcooked, but portions are big and not to costly.

Beware of 18% gratuity for group of 4 and more even though 2 are kids. And service is just good as there is one person to take care of the people who dine in and catering as well.

I'm a HUGE fan of this restaurant!! After a long and difficult day, I decided to opt for some comfort food. I usually go for either the pineapple coconut chicken curry or the chicken pad Thai dish. Tonight was the latter, and it did NOT disappoint! Every bite is better than the one before, and I find myself making those "happy food grunts" every other bite.

I ordered ahead on GrubHub as a pickup option tonight; I've used Door Dash and another company of similar likeness to order from here before, but GrubHub gave me a spicy level option whereas the others didn't.

They have the most lovely ambiance at Gata Thai Cuisin. I felt loved by the atmosphere and the food had such a beautiful glow to it. The food gleaned me with its liquid rose gold sweet and not sour sauce.

Food is not worth the bad service. Incredibly rude workers who do not take customer service seriously.

I’ve also never been to a Thai place that had free refills on Thai Iced Tea, which if you haven’t tried is one of my favorite beverages and you need to try it, so obviously I drank like 3 of those things. The curry was good, but the stuff inside it would’ve tasted better if it had sat in the curry longer and had a chance to absorb the flavor. 4 stars just cuz i love thai iced tea so much 😚

This place would have potential but the lady in the front who is a cashier is so rude. Not a hello nor thanks. I ordered 2 lunch specials and one with extra shrimp and she charged me for the extra shrimp and it literally only came with 2 shrimp!! Like are you serious? And I asked for packs of hot sauce she only gave me one sauce she did not look too happy about me asking for more sauce. So rude, the customer service sucks!! Food taste like it has been sitting for a long time and rice is like a ball of sticky rice. Horrible I will not be coming here again.

Green curry wasn't what I was used to eating

Just staying the night on our way home & weren't in the mood for burgers or high end dining. The wife like Thai so we have this restaurant a try since it was closest to where we were staying. A small restaurant in a small strip mall. The service appeared like she was new & gave us great service. The food was excellent. I had their volcano chicken & the wife had the spicy eggplant & we shared pot stickers. Couldn't believe we ate it all & the portions weren't small.

I ordered online and got a notification that my food was ready to pick up. When I came at the restaurant the rude employee told me to wait more 5 minutes. I only asked her to double check because I got a notification like 10 minutes before about it ready. She told me that if I couldn’t wait then I should leave the store. Super rude!!!

Excellent thai curries! When i just have to have a good pa-nang or red curry, Gata Thai is where i go! Their lunch specials (until 3pm) have gone up (whose hasn't?) recently to $10, hence the 4 not 5 stars, but still the best in Henderson for a good Thai curry fix!

Different try it

Absolutely fantastic Thai. I had the drunken noodles and my wife had the yellow curry. The yellow curry has a very rich flavor, and is one of my favorites that I've ever tried. I loved the vegetables in the drunken noodles, and they use good quality meat, as well. The best part was the free refills on Thai iced tea! Please be advised, though, that there's a last call for food about half an hour before closing time.

Ambience, taste of the fried rice is below average. Better alternatives are few miles away.

After spending a while in Thailand, my standard for Thai food is probably higher than most. This place did not disappoint! Very good customer service, amazing food, and that extra hint of authenticity that I haven't found many other places. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff here are awesome, attentive and willing to hange things around for you. I had the pineapple curry at #5 hot out of 10. I wish I had got #3 hot lol, but it was delicious. Also had the spring rolls, nice and crispy like they should be. Perfect amount of dipping sauce. I had endless amounts of ice tea too. Reasonably priced and well decorates. Lived the gold leaf !! Definitely worth a visit.

This hurts because this was our favorite Thai restuarant and we've eatten and enjoyed their food more times than I can remember!! About three days ago we ordered some take out that included our favorite their Drunken Noodles, the only dish the three of us shared was the noodles. And the next day all of us were sick!! Nausea, vomitting, my son-in-law and daughter were too sick to even go to work!! One could argue that one bad dish out of all those we've enjoyed isn't too bad, but it's going to take some time before I order from them again (if ever!!).

Missing half my items and lady just repeated how can I help you over an over again. Guess I won't eat dinner tonight.

A must stop if you are headed out of Las Vegas strip area or headed back from visiting the Hoover dam. The lunch option which we tried was fairly generous with a yummy salad , spring roll and entre. I found insects inside my food. I don’t think there is anything else to say about this place. The most disgusting and unkept kitchen in the world. Just go to literally any other Thai spot. This business won’t last long. Watch it shut down within 1-2 years.

The soups 10 to 15 depending on if you want seafood. We got the lunch pa-nang curry and Tom Kah. Took maybe 10 minutes to come out. Every was at a 6/10 spicy and we enjoyed it. Five stars here for sure. Worth jumping over if you're in Henderson, NV ;)

First time ordering from here. We eat a lot of Thai food and I've never experienced the smell of their red curry. It smells like they used sewage water to make the dish. I would not be surprised if some disgruntled employee in the kitchen peed in it. I ate it anyway while it was fresh and I was hungry. I went to have left overs today and it smells even worse. I had to throw it in the trash. I almost threw up with how bad it smelled. Would not recommend.

Small place but service was excellent. Food was amazing. I tried the Yellow Curry, Orange Chicken, and Pork Pad Thai. The Yellow Curry was so flavorful and the best curry I have tried in Vegas. Dinner Prices are extremely reasonable with huge portions for dine in.

I have ordered from here couple of times it's been good.
but lately it's been not so good I ordered fried rice barbecue pork plate and beef and broccoli with white rice. when eating it I noticed the barbeque pork was so greasy the pieces where fatty and not cut huge chunk of pork the rice was greasy and the beef and broccoli tasted and smelled like fish smell and the texture of the beef was chewy and the white rice was hard and cold like it was couple days old.
and 3 of us got sick we puke out the food.
I will not go there anymore.

Please don’t order from this place. They don’t look at orders and just give them. I ordered fried tofu pad Thai but they served me pork. Pork is sacred in my religion and we are not supposed to eat it. I had to throw the whole order out. I will never recommend or order again from this place.

Most bad reviews seem to be a “one-off” or just complaining babies. If the spice is too spicy then don’t get any spice, 1-10 isn’t an accurate scale to determine the level of spice 😒

Anyways, we love going here. The food has never ever disappointed. Hair in your food? It happens, why leave one star, just call the place and they’ll replace it.

Our favorite Thai food in the area. Pad Kee Mao, and Thom Kha soup are both exceptional. I've been to Thailand many times and the food here is very authentic. Also, very fast service and reasonable prices. Dine in is available now.

The seafood was spoiled and undercooked. Delivery was early. First time trying and the appetizer shrimp was raw, undercooked and the Wor Wonton was spoiled. Called and they placed the blame on Post Mates and they merged with Uber Eats. Meanwhile, horrific food and service.

Mood - Chicken Satay

Upon entering I was surprised it was not busy at all. So I was asked dine in or take out. I opted for dine in, was told I could sit wherever I chose. Upon seating was given menus and of course Thai Teas were ordered.

Opted for the Wonton Soup, Chicken Satay, Cashew Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Banana Rolls, and Fried Rice. I was very pleased. That Chicken Satay hit the spot. The banana rolls are always a delight especially when they are cooked perfectly.

Interior is a few tables and booth backs with matching tables. Music was playing in the background. Everything was very clean. Staff was wearing masks to ensure good ol safety.

Would def recommend - pricing is reasonable and the portions are very generous. The staff took very good care of my table. Checking on us making sure everything was good. I love great customer service. Also they have a wonderful lunch special. So many items to choose from.

Twice I have paid $30-$40 to receive food I could not even eat because it was too spicy. I have a high tolerance for spice. This place either can not read in English or they blatantly have prepared my food the opposite of how I SPECIFICALLY asked them not too.!!!! I will not order from here ever again.

Passed this place a thousands of times and never ate there because Bistro Pizza is in the same complex, but I walked in and had one of the best Red curry at 7.99. WOW!
