The food here is fantastic! It’s made to order with fresh ingredients and is presented beautifully. I love the red curry and my husband is a big fan of the beef noodle soup. We like some kick, so the level 2 spice is just right for us. The restaurant is always clean and the service is excellent. Happy to have this close to home!
Thai Bistro is small and minimalist in decor, so don’t overlook this spot for a delicious Thai treat. The menu is surprisingly varied, and the food was fresh and hot. Steamed dumplings were flavorful and tasty, and the rom Kia soup was tangy and delicious. The chicken pad Thai did not disappoint and was generously portioned. We’ve been a few times now and have been very pleased.
I had the most fantastic lunch here a couple of days ago! I stopped by a small restaurant and was blown away by the authentic Thai cuisine. I ordered a delicious curry and eggroll, and to top it off, I had a refreshing Thai tea. Every bite was so flavorful and satisfying that I couldn't stop finishing them all. The lady who served me was incredibly kind and made me feel at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the authentic taste of Thailand. Trust me, you won't regret it!
The owners are very kind and soft spoken! We had the curry noodles and crying tiger, very fresh, and flavorful than most places. We had asked about the mango sticky rice and they originally didn’t have any ready, but then they made it from scratch for us! Very kind of them.
First the positive. The restaurant was clean and the people working were very nice. I assume it was the owners running it. There was an older woman rolling the spring rolls and I can only assume it was one of their mothers. She reminded me of my mom. Also there was only 1 other person in the restaurant. It felt weird with the place being complete silent with only me in there.
I ordered Tom Yum soup and the papaya salad.
I knew I was in for trouble when the soup came out and the broth was completely clear — like water. The soup was virtually tasteless. There was no fish sauce, no galanga, and most importantly, no tamarind. This soup is is supposed to built around those key elements.
The salad. It needed fish sauce as well. As it was, it was also bland with no umami. No acid but it was sweet.
I wish I could give this place 2.5 stars. I was only passing through and I would try it again only because they were so nice. Maybe they had a bad day in the kitchen.
We have enjoyed this Thai restaurant with a few Lao options. Food tends to be mild so if you like spicy be sure to ask. Drunken noodles is a favorite. The coconut curries are rich and good. The laab meat salad was tasty and mild by default. The tom yum noodle soup is huge and was fine, too. It is a small restaurant, and worth a visit if you are nearby. The young lady that always seems to be working the front of the house as a server does a good job and is nice and helpful.
The food was so so good and the owners were so kind! I got the curry bowl and it was so yummy and well done! Definitely going to be coming back !

The food was awesome and the milk tea was also so good.
This place freaking rocks!
The panang curry was watery and I ordered 5 star spicy and there was NO spice to speak of
Food is below average.
Too sweet, no taste.
Wasted time and money and came back hungry.

Great food!
I got the appetizer sampler and the Thai fried rice with chicken. All of the appetizers were hot a crispy even through takeout and the flavor were wonderful. All the vegetables were fresh and the rice was delicious.
Good taste. Do not eat here if u have a shellfish allergy.
I Had the chicken panang and it was awful. It had no flavor.
The noodle soup with beef meatballs was delicious.
Main dishes were seasoned and tasted great Portions were on the small side.
Crab Rangoons were a bit salty
Order was hit and ready for me to pick up

Delicious food and great service. Even my 8.5 yr old was impressed.
Pad see-ew is the best in town hands down! I get it #2 spicy and it’s just right. Always super fresh food and service is quick.
Best Tomyum so far.
Pineapple fried rice was amazing!!!
Service was personable and attentive. Red Duck Curry, Flavors were spot on, the Duck while having a beautiful color, had been warmed in Microwave. Pad Thai, Bland expecting more than heat, lacked fish sauce and lime, needed the salty element.
My husband and I just love this place. The service and food is always excellent and the owners and their young daughter are always so friendly. This is one of our solid go-to restaurants in Wildwood.
Always delicious and the folks running Thai Bistro are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The food was fresh and delicious. Pineapple fried rice with chicken 👍👍👍 Friendly staff 😇 Highly recommended
Loved it!!! excellent Thai food!!
Service was good, food was good and the price was right ✅️
Food was delivered hot and tasty. Service was very slow. My brother and I ordered at the same time. His food arrived 7 minutes before mine. Dress appropriately if going in the summertime. We asked the waitress to turn up the air it was so uncomfortabl;, the ice quickly melted in the water.Just okay but probably won't be back.
We had the drunken noodles and the vegetable fried rice—both were delicious. Made fresh with lots of vegetables. Their chicken satay is excellent, also. Such friendly, kind staff. we will be back!
This is one of my favorite places. The food is always great, their staff has been there forever, and treats you like family they are happy to see!
Food and service was great! I would have like more options on the menu.
Hidden gem in Wildwood. Great food and service. Ample portions at a reasonable price. If you like spicy, I suggest 3 or above.
I had the beef salad, delicious and the pot stickers were amazing. Can't wait to try more dishes 😋
Delicious I'll be back thank you.
I was having bad seasonal allergies, everything they recommended was not only amazing tasting and make be feel better... I just can't believe how fresh and yummy and healthy it tasted. Definitely coming back.
By far the best Thai Bistro I’ve been in STL! Highly recommend. Staff is very friendly, and food is phenomenal.
Not that good, too many vegetables not enough curry.
Best curry, Thai tea, service and more!
The flavors were good, but they hardly gave me any curry in my dish. It was mostly veggies. I don’t know why… Would like to see them review their portions.
Friendly folks and comfy dining environment. Food was ok but just lacked a little flavor. Soup was good but needed more time for the flavors to meld and less raw onions!
The food tastes good. The staff was really chill and nice..
Food was amazing and spiced to absolute perfection. Portions were huge. We ordered carry out on their online menu. It had to be the easiest online order I’ve ever done. While we have never dined in, the carry out service was great. We will be back next time to dine in. Wish we had found this little gem sooner.
The food was good.
Smaller menu, allowing for higher quality.
Cozy size store front restaurant.
Staff extremely friendly and courteous.
Food speed was a little slow, as each dish was made one at a time by one chef...the owner.
Splendid, savory and authentic! This Thai restaurant is one of the best, maybe the very best, in St Louis, and rivals restaurants in San Francisco and New York for food quality. Simple indoors, reasonable cost, and the most tasty Thai food on this side of the Atlantic - A favorite!
Very good place for Thai! Super friendly people running the place!
Tasty, clean, lit candle on my table at lunch AND......they let you bring you own beer in, as they do not serve it! What a fantastic value! She even brought us beer mugs! I don't live here, you are very lucky to have this.
Always phenomenal
Food is hot, fresh, and delicious! The best hostess ever! Will be back!!!
spice level 3 was VERY spicy but MY GOD it was so good def worth the visit
So good! I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. The food was piping hot and had just the right spice. I picked 3 out of 5 on their scale. The peppers and onions, in particular, were cooked to perfection. You can tell they take each order as it comes in to prepare it. No mushy, overcooked vegetables. Highly recommend.
A few recent reviews (and a quick Google search) confirmed my suspicion that Thai Bistro was under new ownership. The food is not the same.
Very nice place. The host is so welcoming & nice to talk to. Wide variety of options for vegetarians and vegans. Very authentic Thai taste.
My wife and I discovered Thai Bistro about 4 weeks ago (late June 2022). We live about 45 minutes away, but have been there twice now and, I suspect, we will be back as many times as we can. We are both addicted to Pad Kra Paw which is described as "Authentic Famous Thai Stir Fried Ground Chicken With Thai Basil. With A Fried Egg". It is unbelievably delicious. My wife likes spice level 2, I do 3 so far but may go higher next time. Also, they have Thai tea which is also suprisingly wonderful. Both times we went were weekend afternoons, so not busy, and the staff was wonderful.
Bottom line: 5 stars. The deliciousness of the food is worth the drive, but the price makes it an excellent value.
Friendly service and delicious food! Will definitely return.
Delicious!!!! The service was excellent! Background music was perfect, not too loud or obnoxious. We had the Crab butterfly, Pad cashew and the Pad ginger both with shrimp.
Such a nice family running the place and the food was delicious!
Just awful. Very sad too because this used to be the best Thai food I've ever had. It is under new ownership and is nothing like the previous owners. The food is bland and they have a very young child working the phones and bringing water to tables, couldn't be over 10.
I will forever miss the original Thai bistro.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Absolutely delicious! Staff was extremely friendly, kind, and generous!

It makes us very sad to say but now under new ownership and not nearly the same food. We lived in Thailand and know what authentic is and it's not this. We now drive way down to Thai Rice Bistro off Manchester Rd in Ballwin, but it is expensive with small portions. 😭
Food was average. Service was atrocious. Girl no more than ten years old was our “waitress.” We were one of two parties in the restaurant and waited 40 minutes to order. While eating, numerous parties came to get carry out orders - none of which were ready on time or were made wrong. By the end of our meal we were the only ones in the restaurant - no one came to check on us or even fill our waters that had been empty for nearly an hour. Will not be back. I understand a night of being short staffed - but there was not a single apology or attempt to make up for the terrible experience.
Absolutely phenomenal! After living in Thailand, I can be a bit “picky” but this place is authentic! Try the appetizer sampler and, my favorite, Drunken Noodle!
The service is wonderful and the food is great. Glad we found this place, it will become a weekly go to.
Very clean, super friendly and great eats
Delightful - just recently changed owners and proud to say it is still amazing! Pad Thai was delicious, can’t wait to come back! Hope all of Joe’s customers come to support them
Awesome food! This is easily the best Thai food in St Louis County. This is a family owned business and you can tell, everyone that works here is so nice, and always willing to go the distance to deliver great service. I highly recommend Thai Bistro, especially the Pad See Ew!
I definitely recommend Thai Bestro if you're passing through or live in the area!
Super long waits for minimal orders, no way to communicate with them bc their phones are shut down.
Ordered a green curry chicken at lowest spice level and it’s so spicy I can’t eat it.
The pad Thai which was supposed to be spicier than curry is no spice.
Never again!!!
Our 1st time was yesterday. It took an hour to get our food that we ordered online. They seemed busy so NBD. The curry was really not good-little flavor, vegetables were mushy and few. The crying tiger and wings were REALLY good. Cucumber salad was small for the price. Would have given it another star but if you are a Thai restaurant curry is important to get right. If you read these reviews i think most of the 5-star are for a different restaurant in Louisville. This is in St Louis-Wildwood area.
Mediocre. Won't go there again.
Over salted. Meat smelled spoiled. Even the fried dishes were heavy on the salt. Never again.
The food is on point and great customer service! Highly recommended!
Great food and wonderful service!
My wife and I order here every week.
Thank you so much!
Fresh, quality food prepared perfectly every time. Staff is courteous and friendly. Easily one of the best restaurants in the area.
OMG fantastic didn't want to review because it will be busier ,but wow out of this world food great staff ❤
Just ordered pad thai and the massaman curry. I officially proclaim Thai Bistro of Wildwood the BEST Thai food in the St Louis area. Their pad thai is excellent. But the massaman curry is PHENOMENAL! Best curry I have ever had. Next time I will get it #2 spicy. I did the #1 level and just know that if I got it a little spicier, it would be so good that I might have a stroke and die with a smile on my face! Seriously, their food is amazing!
Each time we have been to Thai Bistro we were impressed by the food. We did go one weekday and the were serving at the St. Louis Community College. Lucky folks!
The staff were inviting and actually pretty fast at getting my food out. It's rather expensive for a casual meal but the food was definitely worth it.
The pumpkin curry was AMAZING! It was rich but so glad I tried it! The service was good but not great. I'll definitely go back!
We have been here more than once. We felt the quality and quantity have gone down from what it used to be. I don’t remember my Thai green curry being so spicy. All the appetizers are way overpriced. Giving it 4 stars for old time’s sake.
We were seated as soon as we walked in and placed our orders soon after. They also had food that suited my gluten sensitivity and the waitress was polite and attentive to our needs.
The Shrimp Dumplings are Awesome! The Woon Sen (glass noodles) is wonderful. Highly recommend!!!
We have enjoyed this Thai restaurant with a few Lao options. Food tends to be mild so if you like spicy be sure to ask. Drunken noodles is a favorite. The coconut curries are rich and good. Great food, great staff. Intersting menu.
Excellent service, outstanding food. Very small place but VERY worth a visit. If you like crab rangoon you HAVE to get some here. Probably some of the best crab rangoon I have ever eaten. Reasonably priced excellent food.
The mussels 'special ' was great, well done, not too much sauce and fresh mussels. Excellent dish overall
Very delicious authentic Thai food. I got the pineapple fried rice and my friend got the Massaman curry. Both were tasty and a good price. Will be back
Food was great but it was so noisy it was impossible to even hear the person next to us. Need to do something get a buffer. Try the ceiling.
I honestly think this is the best Thai place in west county. I haven't gotten anything from here that wasn't delicious. Your tom kha is amazing!I love the mushrooms! PLEASE DONT EVER CHANGE IT
Best Thai I ever had in Missouri. Drunken noodle is my favorite dish at this location and the Thai Tea is a must...
This was the first time we tried Thai Bistro and we will be back. We ordered carry out. The food was colorful, flavorful, and the portion was ample. I have to believe that as much care was put into my carry out container as would have been on the plate in the restaurant. Love to support small business. Especially when it is this good.
Everything I've had here in many visits has been fabulous. Love Thai Bistro!
Elizabeth is absolutely amazing!!!! Joes cool too
The dishes are very tasty !
Did tasted great. Spice seems to be pretty in line with most Thai restaurants. Not as spicy as Pearl Cafe, but spicy enough I think. Food is very flavorful even at higher spice levels. Had the Pad Thai with chicken which was very good. Will definitely be back again.
Excellent food and great service
Wow, this place was great. Some of the best (the best?) Thai I've had. We had a range of appetizers and I had the basil fried rice. Very fresh, simple, tasty but not heavy and oily. Service was a little slow but I forgot about it with quality of the food. Good portions too.
Food was decent but not the best that I have had.
Great home cooked food in a small out of the way place.
Our first experience was amazing! GREAT FOOD!
Wow! What a delight. Excellent Thai food. Great service and friendly people.
Absolutely love this place. We eat here about once a week on average. Owner is very friendly, as well as the staff. They make sure you have everything you need, and even make recommendations on things to try based on your preferences.
zero complaints. I mean zero , too. Completely hands done best thia i have had in a very long time.
Paid 2 visits to this place before.
1st time, with my bf for a date, we got 2 typical thai dishes, 1 pad thai, and then a rice dish that had an abundance of green beans. While mine was more enjoyable than his dish, it wasnt anything more than average or below that.
The price for what you get is a little more than its worth. The dishes arent real intricate nor did they coat the dishes with sufficient sauce. It was very dry. Lacking in flavor.
Tonight, I tried the seaweed salad which again the price was about $1 more than usual for other places ive been too, and there wasn't anything special about it. The 2nd thing i got was the curry chicken soup underneath the salad options... And let me tell you... Big mistake..it does not taste like curry, i doubt theres curry in it, and it smelled and tastes like fungus feet. It had chicken in the title but there were not more than 3 chunks of chicken. Definitely a rip off.
I would not waste your time or money at this place unless youre looking for over priced dissapointment on a plate.
This is a really cute and nice place to enjoy quick lunches and even a romantic dinner! The food was good and the quantity is more than enough! Nothing special, just like other Thai restaurant dishes.
I seriously love this place. It has been consistently fantastic every time I have been. There are meatless and vegan options, as well as some well rounded meaty dishes. The thai iced tea is amazing.
The BEST Thai food you will find!
Amazing Thai food and service as always!!
Food was as good as any Thai I’ve had. My dish hit the exact point of being as hot as possible before becoming too hot. Those who love spicy food know this can be a tough point to hit. It was perfect. I was there at an off-peak time and so of course it was quiet and service was excellent. I can’t comment about their more crowded times.
The food was absolutely disgusting. Tasted like frozen, reheated food. The service was terrible and took 10 minutes to get water. Would not recommend.
Love all the food here.
Great Fresh Food!
I personally eat here 2-3 times a week and recommend. I order carry out so much they know my voice when I call. I recommend Thai Bistro to everyone I know and I highly recommend it to anyone that likes Thai food or wants to try it. If your unfamiliar with Thai cuisine the owner and staff will give you recommendations to try out. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing (shout out Elizabeth) and this is overally my favorite food in wildwood!
The owner, is extremely hospitable. Had the Pad Thai, I asked for it to be made vegan style, the owner mentioned that they even switched their base sauce to a vegan blend.
Really like this place. However, it’s pretty pricey for what you get.
Wonderful food and sweet staff! Can't wait to return.
Great atmosphere, love the appetizers and entrees
Best Thai we have tasted in a long time - including multiple cities. Great flavor for everyone. Friendly service too.
A very small restaurant located in a strip mall. Does not look very impressive from outside or inside. However the food and service is good and we eat here at least once a month.
Really great atmosphere and awesome food!
Food and service was excellent. Only issue was the noise and one minor issue. Music was real loud in concert with the TV that was on--not relaxing. Shut the TV sound off and have minimal relaxing background music would be preferable. Also, large napkin holders on table with no purpose and obtrusive. I want this place to be successful so my critiques intent is that.
Great food made to order, always fresh and very tasty!
Surprisingly delicious Thai food for a strip mall in Wildwood! Strongly recommend the Pad Thai and Panang Curry.
Chicken wings are really good here. They are rubbed with thai species and given a sauce to fip in. Just Yum! This is my to go place for Thai food. I try to experience different restaurants and foods around the area and on my frequent trips of the state.
follow me to see whats on my food plate
@journeytofoods
Very flavorful, the entire menu looks delicious
Our first visit here was on a whim. The service was excellent and very quick. The setting was very nice and the food was extremely delicious and well made. Highly recommended Thai Bistro!
Amazing food
Our first visit to Thai Bistro was outstanding. We had the Pad Cashew and it was very flavorful. We mentioned that we had never had any curry dishes before, so they brought a sample of the Panang Curry for us to try. I think we've found our new favorite Thai restaurant!
The food was absolutely amazing! The service was great! More flavors than I could imagine. If you are in the area try it...you will love it.
very good
