After moving to Desoto 6 months ago, we finally had dinner here and have decided this is our favorite local Mexican restaurant!

We "discovered" this place about 6 weeks ago, and have now ordered 6 times - that alone should tell you something. We should all consider ourselves lucky to have this decent Thai restaurant in our neighborhood! Prices are fair and in-line with expectations. Taste of food is 4/5 stars. I give it 4 because I have eaten the highest quality Thai food in many states and countries, and 4 stars is very solid. Take out service is excellent, food is usually ready within 20 - 30 minutes, Brandon is friendly and very knowledgeable about their options. They take pride in being able to safely prepare food for people with allergies or special considerations, and they are very friendly about substitutions. My wife is gluten free and my son is a vegetarian. We can all get what we like with several options available to each of us. So glad they are here, give them a try!

My husband and I ate here tonight...my first time, his third. The pot stickers came first and they were a 10 out of 10. Then when the rest of our food was 10 out of 10 as well...That's when we realized how solid they are. The server was super sweet and you can tell how much love he has for this place. It's refreshing to see somebody who genuinely cares about the place they work. The food is amazing...we'll be back. I love seeing a new interesting restaurant open in this area.

Great food! The service is wonderful! We just finished a great dinner sitting on the patio outside. The wait staff checked on us periodically and were so friendly and attentive .Very impressed! They allowed us to have our well behaved Pup sit on the outdoor patio with us and even brought him a water bowl without being asked. Proud to have such a wonderful business in our town!

This place is amazing, very authentic. It's a couple trying to make it work, and their humble beginning is in the downstairs portion of a bar, much respect. Food tastes great, truly my favorite thai place in St. Louis.

Best authentic thai food we've been able to find. They are so nice and seem to have a lot of regulars.

Very unusual location: downstairs in the basement beneath a sports bar and grill (Friendly's), with which it shares its outdoor seating. We wanted to sit outside, anyway, so it was sort of fine. We chose our own seats, I got the menus and waited to order.

The tablecloths had not been recently cleaned nor fully laid out. The chairs were wobbly and required us to add our cushions (we are very short). Pleasantly shady and breezy, and a nice day to be out, but this area is practically in the parking lot.

The owner had told us that I had to come get our menus inside, pay inside, and be patient, because only he and the cook were there at that time and he could only come outside when no other customers were inside. Very odd.

My mom uses a walker and cane, so going inside / down many steep, dark stairs, was not feasible for her. Good thing we had just come from a place where she had used the restroom!

The menu is new, he told us, and seemed great, but didn't offer one of the types of dishes she liked. The owner made a suggestion, hearing she wanted something crispy, and she took his advice.

Mom enjoyed the shrimp tempura over Thai fried rice very much. Very large portion of rice and 4 large shrimp, lightly battered, will make two meals for her, with half the rice added to my very large portion of House Special fried rice.

Both fried rice dishes were very un-oily, which we like, and just made, fresh. But, not very flavorful, and more steamed than fried. The only veggies were scallions, broccoli, carrots, white onions. No celery, cabbage, bok choy, sprouts, etc. It was also unexpectedly sweet.

I additionally ordered the Thai Pho soup, which did not automatically come with anything. It had an extremely generous amount of thicker-than-usual, seemingly wheat-based noodles, at least 5 meatballs, and many slices of beef, but not much broth.
No sauces were offered. I had to ask for chopsticks. I asked for basil leaves, which came, but we're unsorted; many were rotten and inedible: rinsed, but not looked at by the cook.

The pho broth was different than most Vietnamese phos I have had here and in California and Seattle: sweeter, denser, darker. I missed the fish and chili garlic sauces, but I brought more than half home and will add those for my second meal of it.

Owner knows a lot about Thailand and Thai food, which he shared with us. That was great!

Overall, we liked but didn't love it. May go back, but despite its being easy to find, it's over 20 minutes' drive for us, in South City.

Got the drunken noodles and they were awesome. Got soup with coconut juice and it was outstanding. Can't wait to go again

We’ve really been missing our old Thai place since we moved and haven’t found a good one to replace it. Thai Pavilion changed that. This place was greatly priced, absolutely delicious, and honored their time. We will be back!

Amazing- spicy flavorful. Had the advertised duck curry, catfish stir fry and Tom yum. They contacted us shortly after planning online order to let us know there was going to be a delay. We told them we were on a tight schedule and they had it ready a little earlier which was appreciated. Great service- when I called to ask where the curbside was at they told me exactly where to wait and had it ready before I had time to tie my mask.

Excellent curry. I love green curry and they have one on the top of my list. Yellow curry was perfectly creamy. Food is "clean" tasting, if that makes sense, and still has bold flavour. You can taste & see the difference in the freshness. It's not just smothered in dark sauce that covers the vegetable. For a modest location, it is great quality and will not disappoint. A completely hidden gem! 100% recommend.

Friendly, accommodating (gluten free options for nearly everything), and the food is great! Got a couple of Thai dishes with shrimp and the shrimp were surprisingly huge! Definitely recommend, just remember to request spicy if that’s what your looking for.

Tried the new in-house delivery & everything was hot & perfect! Spice at just the level ordered, so many noodles for my soup delivered on the side so they wouldn’t get mushy, all packed so as not to leak. And as usual, the food was all fresh, made to order, top notch. Please give this place a try. It’s consistently fantastic!

I had sushi and it tasted very good. I had the best Fried Philly I have ever eaten, and the spicy salmon was very good. I also had a spicy tuna roll that was very tasty but it was very small. That is the only reason it was 4 stars. The owners even gave us a discount for the long wait which we appreciated. Thank you and we will be ordering again.

Just not good. Extremely mediocre Thai food. My chicken pad Thai was a weird color, almost looking raw, and had barely any flavor to it. I asked for a spice level like most Thai places have but they didn’t do it so I just doused in soy sauce. Also got egg rolls and they just barely had anything in them. It wasn’t terrible but I have had much, much better of the same Thai food.

First time trying Thai food and I’m glad I did. The food was delicious and the service was beyond the moon.

Tried out Thai Pavilion for the first time today and were super happy we happened upon it! we didn't even realize there was a local Thai restaurant in our area, but we are glad we found it. First of all, the menu is very vegetarian friendly with 4 vegan dishes as well. Second, I loved to see the healthy edamame appetizer--I didn't order it this time since I had some edamame at home already, but I look forward to trying it eventually! The two dishes we had, house salad, and appetizer were great. The homemade rice noodles were excellent in the Pad See Ew, and my husband loved the flavorful Pad Cashew.

Consistent quality and they don’t skimp on meat and veg. Tom yum flavor is perfect, green curry is better than elsewhere. Possibly made from scratch, since I have noticed that the flavors don’t fluctuate much at different heat levels. (Aka you usually have to suffer a little extra heat to get a better flavor at other places because they use a curry paste and just add more or less coconut milk for mild-hot ). Never been disappointed, and that’s saying a lot. Other places can be hit or miss or at the very least inconsistent. Note, they r hard to find the first time, odd location but don’t be deterred, you will be happy!

Called to place an order at 7:13pm and they said they aren't taking any more orders for the rest of the night....they close at 8:30pm.

I’ve had more than my share of Thai food. I’ve been to Thailand and had street food there. This is by far the most authentic Thai food I have ever eaten in the US. To be honest, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. How this place hasn’t been discovered and celebrated in our city is a true mystery to me.

I haven't been to any of the other locations so I can't say anything to them. That being said........this is the worst Thai I've had hands down. The Shumai we're little tiny marble sized dumplings with hardly any taste. The green curry was nothing but boiled chicken, red peppers, and bamboo shoots in the blandest curry ever. The fried rice was little more than white rice with a little soy sauce..... barely fried. This is the first and last time I waste my time and money...... (fifty bucks by the way)......on a new place. The kid who got my order said that the chef cooked more Laotian than Thai and didn't conform to Thai standards. Wow......if you're selling Thai food you might want to. Do yourself a favor.... don't waste your time and money..... drive down to Meremec Bottom Rd. and make a left over to Baumgartner and Lemay Ferry to Drunken Noodles. Get some good food.

Very disappointing experience , I'm fairly picky and was skeptical of trying this place ,but after looking at pictures of there food online I thought wow this place actually looks good but unfortunately our food looked nothing like the food on there website it was very bland and disappointing to say the least I have no idea how this place has a decent rating dont go here expecting good food and if you like it you probably haven't had decent food in your life!

Top Notch Thai food, it was wonderful. Duck Curry was amazing!! Good kids menu (you don't often find this at Thai places), prices are good. Great Menu choices, I highly recommend if you like Thai food.
