Went for a Wednesday night dinner and it was a great choice! We were happily greeted at the door and was seated. We loved the mixed style seating which gave a personal feel to every table. The staff was very polite and attentive. The owner came around and talked to us a few times and engaged with us personally. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food, friendly fast service, and conveniently located to those in the Maryland Heights area. This is my new Thai spot. I had a wonderful conversation with the proprietor about the new place and all the grand plans she has for it, even though it looks fantastic already.

I had the Spicy Basil Chicken (Thai style) and it was phenomenal. The spice was perfectly tuned to bring out all the other wonderful flavors. Just when I thought the visit couldn’t get any better, they brought out the Mango w/Sweet Sticky Rice dessert. While this was a bit too much for me to finish, it was the best part of the meal. The mangos were some of the sweetest I’ve had in a long time, which paired perfectly with the deep, sweet flavor of the rice. It sounds like it would be too rich but it’s not. It’s perfect.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Have a chat with the staff and stay a while, you won’t be sorry.

I dined at Thai Mama for the first time this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed. The Spicy Eggplant with Tofu, accompanied by white rice, was outstanding, and the Thai iced coffee was great. The service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. I am happy to award Thai Mama a well-deserved five stars for a truly fantastic dining experience.

We enjoy Thai food and have eaten at many Thai restaurants locally and across the country. Unfortunately, this place paled in comparison to what we expected. We ordered Pad Thai, which is a very common dish and the Cashew Dinner. Both were very sweet and salty, but other than that flavorless. In fairness we did order our food at a spice level of 2 out of 5, which could have been the problem. But we usually don't have a problem getting flavorful Thai food no matter the spice level. The Thai dumplings and Thai fresh rolls were well prepared and were the best part of the meal. I guess if you're only getting appetizers this place would be ok, but if you want a flavorful meal there are better options in the St. Louis area.

Had been wanting to try this place and finally made it there on Saturday night. Wow! The food was great and everyone working there were friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure dining here!! Can’t wait to return.

Been searching Thai restaurants around Saint Louis as used to travel to Thailand all the time. Have been generally disappointed by pad Thai in area. This probably has the best pad Thai in Saint Louis thus far. Everything on menu feels like being back in Thailand

Don’t be fooled by the exterior presentation. It’s what’s on the inside that counts. You’ll find amazing Thai cuisine in the quaintest eclectic atmosphere. Nothing shabby. Come enjoy before it gets overrun. If you’re looking for a place to dine in with that special someone-you won’t be disappointed. I loved it.

I placed an online order to pick up at 7:30. Confirmation was received and stated my order would be ready at that time. I received a text at 7:05 saying it was ready to pick up. I called and asked if there was a mix-up and if they could refire it to have it ready at the time I'd requested otherwise it would be sitting there for 25 minutes getting cold. They apologized and said no problem, if would be recooked. I got there at 7:28 to pick up. The food was luke-warm at best. The flavor of the sauce on my chicken was amazing, however what should have been a nice crispy fried meal had congealed together and was soggy. The crab Rangoon were the same way. My wife's meal was at least a sauteed chicken meal so it held up fairly well. I just wish they had followed through on cooking fresh food for us or at the very least followed the order time the first time they cooked it since I reached out as soon as their text was sent to give them the opportunity to make it right.

Everything felt just a little "off" last night.
Worst part was a dirty mop smell coming from somewhere. If they get that issue taken care of, everything else should be fine. Not great like they used to be, but good enough.

After being greeted and given the portable pay machine to cash myself out. The server left. I paid and sat. No communication on status or wait time. She said 5 mins. @7:38 I flag dwn a different server and said I've been waiting plz can u check. She told me w a huff "IM DOING SOMETHING ELSE RIGHT NOW" (understood) but no offer to follow up ect...I got my food @7:46. Was a long wait mixed w crappy service. THE FOOD WAS GOOD 3/4. no soy or condiments or silverware included- I found out at home🥴 this spot is in my neighborhood. I was excited. Not anymore. Just came here for a lunch with my family, and I would have to say it was by far one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve had in a while! Everything was perfect. We started with the Chicken Satay, and pork spring rolls which were amazing! Then for our entrees, we ordered the Kai Soy Curry soup and the Garlic and Pepper stir fry. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend

What a gem! I’m always on the hunt for great Thai food in my travels and Thai Mama has set herself apart. Pad Kee Mao is my benchmark to see how they handle the noodles, the sweet & sour balance, the sauce, the basil. It was chef’s kiss. Arguably the best in town. On a whim I tried the Thai custard and sweet rice and was surprised at the size of the dish. Think flan but sitting in a warm coconut rice mixture. Like asian fusion arroz con leche & flan. I’m a fan! I’ll be back to try the khao soi for sure. It looks fantastic.

This is my favorite thai place to eat. Lots of great options to eat and everything I’ve had has had a lot of flavor. I love the mango sticky rice in the summer, the basil fried rice is also a favorite of mine, and recently tried the pad Thai which was superb. You can adjust the spice levels and get no spice if that’s what you prefer. Great customer service and it feels like eating at your friends house.

What a great find! When you walk in the restaurant is laid out with all different table setups and it is so unexpected and looks amazing! The service is very friendly and quick and the food….DELISH! I had the green curry with shrimp. Found this randomly when looking for a different place to eat while in STL for work. They had Thai beers which we tried and would recommend! We will be back for sure on the next work trip!

Dinner was delicious! The spicy catfish was cooked to perfection and the amazing curry sauce I couldn’t get enough of. Star of the night! We also had a tasty stir fry and pho. Only issue was no hoisin or siracha for soup. I wouldn’t order pho from a Thai restaurant but if it’s served please offer traditional accompaniments. Service was spectacular. Our new go to Thai restaurant!

After seeing the amazing reviews I decided to get dinner for my friend and I and I wasn’t let down. The food was piping hot when I arrived to pick it up and it tasted even better. I’m pretty sure the owner was in store and was the one who gave me my order, she was very sweet! We got their crispy spring rolls for an appetizer and my friend and I both got the Pangang curry. The chicken and veggies were tender and the curry was so creamy and had a wonderful coconut flavor from the coconut cream. We also got the Thai tea for a beverage and it balanced out the slight spiciness from the curry perfectly. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their items. With fall and winter right around the corner I’m ecstatic to find a place with awesome curry for those cold days !

We were super impressed! We actually live in Thailand but were staying with family for a few weeks in St Louis and needed some Thai food. This is one of very few places that makes Thai food that tastes like Thai food. It's also the only place where you can ask for Prik Nam Plar, and they give you a LOT of chilies! My favorite by far.

I am from Springfield, MO, and was up in St. Louis for a few medical appointments at the Mercy Campus nearby. I was looking for some comfort food after a long day and decided on Pad Kee Mao.

After searching for nearby Thai restaurants, I settled on Thai Mama. The restaurant is comfortable and clean with a pleasant atmosphere. There is a large, well stocked bar if you prefer bar seating. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

I ordered a Thai Tea and Pad Kee Mao (listed on the menu as Spicy Noodle) with chicken at a medium spice level. The Thai Tea was well prepared and paired well with my meal. The Spicy Noodle (Pad Kee Mao) was fresh and flavorful, hitting all the right profiles one expects from the dish. Their spice levels are on a "Thai spice" spectrum which I appreciated, so order accordingly.

With the quality of the food I was served and looking at the photos of other reviewers, I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order at Thai Mama. Solid recommend.

My family and I came into this restaurant for my brother’s birth anniversary due to him wanting something healthy and light. When we walked in, we were greeted quickly by a lady whose name was pronounced as “Two/Too/To”. She was such a lovely woman who was so friendly. She put a smile on our faces and was very patient with us due to us being indecisive, it was our first time here. The food came out not even 10 minutes in. It was very hot and fresh. Servers were absolutely bomb! The food was literally 10/10. At the end, they blessed my brother with a dessert. It was a lovely experience. My family and I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Wonderful place, atmosphere was peaceful.

Coming in after a weekend at a trade show, we stopped here on a Sunday evening. What amazing, delicious, soulful food. Everything hit just right: nicely spicy curry potstickers, fresh cucumber and onion salad with the satay, and an absolutely delicious sweet rice and mango dessert. This Tom Kha is to die for! A lot of places just use regular mushrooms and Thai Mama uses a specialty one that I haven’t found anywhere else. AND it fits with every season, the lime makes it feel summery and light while the creaminess and warmth feels so cozy. I could write poems about this soup. Seriously try it - you won’t regret it!

This is our sixth or seventh time enjoying Thai Mama’s food. We have dine in a few times and ordered take out 3-4 times. Food order has been 100% accurate every single time. Favorite items include crispy spring rolls and Spicy Basil stir fry. Cashew Stir fry is also delicious.

Had panang curry and pad woon sen. Very tasty and staff were very friendly. Small space but not crowded, loads of options. Good place

Great service and amazing food, the panang curry had a lot of flavor and the chicken wasn't dry like some Thai places I've been to. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, but not overbearing. Overall, 10/10

The beef pho that I got was delicious and the waitstaff are kind and wonderful. I even got a complimentary white wine. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
