Nice place and a bit of a different Thai cuisine. I liked it….checked was good, shrimp was good, beef was tough……odd. The fried dumplings were awesome. The bowl of soup we got when we sat was fun….beef broth, chicken, and tofu. Dinner portion of Pad Thai was huge. I’d give ‘em another go.

Love Thai food, so I had to try. The food was amazing! My wife got the jungle curry with chicken, and I tried the red curry with chicken. The jungle curry was marked as medium, but it had a bite. Very friendly, and I never had to ask for refills. We also tried the crab Rangoon...again amazing! Everything was pipping hot.

Also I recommend their lambrusco wine!

Thai Pepper Cuisine has to serve the best pho in the kansas city area by far, huge portions and always delicious. i gladly drive 30 miles just to come here whenever I'm in the mood for a good bowl of pho. it never disappoints!

We had great expectations n really wanted to try a Thai restaurant in Harrisonville, but on arrival, we found out they are closed. Was really disappointed as there were no updates on Google on its closure.

Best Thai I've had in a long time

Literally so good. My friend got the yellow curry noodles with shrimp and it was heavenly, crab rangoons and potstickers were on point. And HUGE portions, couldn't even finish if we wanted to.

I went for the first time tonight and it will definitely not be my last visit. Everything we got was phenomenal and the portion sizes are huge. I decided to add on a small bowl of the Tom Yum soup and…. WOW!!! I’m obsessed. It’s for sure my new favorite. Owners are also sweet as pie. The older gentleman gave me a free can of pop while I waited for my order. He was so nice.

I read all of the reviews before going here for the first time and honestly was disappointed. We got the sampler appetizer which was IMO done well. Crispy dumplings were amazing. I had Pad Thai W-shrimp and husband had Kapow. Both dishes looked just fine. Overall though, it just lacked “something.” The entrees were brought to us in like 5 min after ordering; that’s kinda weird. Practically fast food. What turned me off were these things: The salt and pepper shakers along with the holder of sauces, had so much grime on them, it’s like they’re never wiped down. Yuck. Also….I think the sauces are being thinned to stretch the product. The sweet and sour sauces were watery. When we poured the soy sauce out it was not like soy I’ve ever seen. All in all - it’s just “meh.” I did give full stars for their service and atmosphere; just won’t go back.

Everything. I recommend everything. I personally only get the pho but I've tried a bite of everything my friend or husband has gotten and it's all been amazing.

The pho. I can't say enough about it. I've tried 2 other places but this place gave me my first experience I ever had with pho and oh my gosh it absolutely blows the other 2 places out of the freakin' water. (always extra meat, I choose beef, for only $1.00 to have THE perfect balance of noodle, meat, and stock/broth)

The noodles, meat, sprouts, green onions and everything is just a way to get the stock/broth from the bowl to your mouth.

Otherwise I'd get just that in a cup and use a straw because It. Is. The. Best.

The Thai iced tea is very sweet, but oh so good by itself and especially with the savory sweetness of the pho stock/broth.

I've tried crab rangoon at so many restaurants in my life, but they make it just wonderfully perfect and fresh every order, if I had to guess. The entire wrap is crunchy, not soggy at the bottom, because the filling to wrap ratio is balanced properly. And I don't know what's in that filling but it does not taste overwhelmingly of, well, at all, actually, like imitation crab, which is what I'd been used to until finding this gem of a place.

Leftovers are almost a guarantee (at least for me) because the portion sizes far outweigh the price.

So. Much. Food.

I want to use exclamation points but I think it would just discount how serious I am about this place.

Because I seriously love this place. It's worth every minute of the hour and 7 minute drive from my house and every single dollar spent on gas and tab and tip. Every time without fail.

Staff is extremely polite and very helpful. I lose count of how many times they check to see if you need anything or a drink top-off and they always greet and send you off with a genuine smile and a thank you.

I am SO happy to have a forever "official comfort food" place.

Fried rice is second to none 😋.

My sisters and I were on a road trip and stopped by here for some food. We ordered ahead of time and they let us eat in the restaurant when we got there and even brought us hot and sour soup. So delicious and the owner was incredibly kind.

Tiny restaurant in a strip mall, but the food was outstanding. I had the Pad See Ew, wide noodles, veggies, and chicken. The sauce was tasty and very mild. Next time I'll probably go medium on the spice because the mild was very mild. We had egg rolls as an app, and they were crispy and freshly fried. Price was pretty reasonable for huge servings that will be enough for two meals.

I love this place! The food is amazing the people are so kind and will help you with any questions you have about there menu or there cultural. I get the Chille chicken and white rice its the best! Oh you can forget the crabragoons and the sauce that is heave just by itself. If you haven't had this you need too!

The service was very friendly. The menu had a lot to choose from and everything was really good. The crab rangoon wrappers were so thin and crispy. I branched out and tried something other than my favorite and I was not disappointed. Stir fried seafood curry was wonderful with shrimp, calamari, mussels and little scallops.

Hot & fresh Thai food. I don't understand why this place wasn't busy during lunch hour, but the Mexican restaurant next door was slammed. 2 people, large portions for $22.00. The pad Thai & sweet n sour soup was amazing.

Delightful small Thai restaurant. We found them via Google search while on vacation, specifically looking for Thai food for our dinner stop. The ratings cinched the deal and didn't disappoint. Pretty sure the owners were serving. The food was hot, was served quickly, and tasted fantastic. Portions were generous and priced very reasonably. Wish we had something like this at home!

Tasty lunch! Yummy Thai food.

I've been here a few times and the food is okay. Maybe even "decent," considering the setting (strip mall in a small town).

But the service is "interesting.". The last time I ordered takeout, I walked in and approached the counter as I've done before. The man behind the register looked up and nodded to me. I told him my name and that I was there for a carryout order. He nodded again, then walked away. He proceeded to seat, get menus for, and chat with the family that had walked in a few seconds after me, leaving me to stand alone at the counter for some time.

When he finally returned, I asked him if there was a reason he helped the people who came in after me instead of me, the guy who came in first. I wasn't threatening, just curious and a little annoyed. He laughed at me. Literally just laughed and told me my total.

"Only decent Thai food in Harrisonville" isn't good enough reason to put up with that. Won't be giving them my money any more.

Only found out last year that this place even existed I've already eaten everything on the menu and I go back over and over again fantastic place

Super bummed by our last two experiences.
We live 20 miles away so we don’t make it there often, but it’s been one of our favorite Thai places since we discovered it. But, the second to last time we found a BODY hair in our food. Down deep, at the bottom portion of the Generals Chicken, when scoping it out. We threw it all away, and fb messaged them right away. We were told we would get a discount on our next order. Tonight we went to order and when I spoke to the Manager, reminding her of the message and what had happened the previous time, and that we want the dish replaced since we had to throw it, she said she could only give a 10% discount. I told her I really want the dish replaced since we paid for something we had to throw out. She kept arguing with me, and kept telling me “next time save it and bring it back in” I immediately responded with First off, I really hope there isn’t a next time, and secondly, we would not hold onto a hair for any amount of time, much less several weeks, until we make the trip there again. When we get their food, we’re traveling to Harrisonville specifically for it. I’m just still shocked how persistent she was to save the hair and bring it back in and not replace the dish. This was not possible hair from our house, and came from the restaurant. I’m so disappointed I had to fight for making it right, and what should have been the obvious solution.
I doubt we will be going back, which makes us really sad. Having food issues (it happens) but +terrible customer service is not how we want to spend our hard worked money.

They do a great job! A lot of variety, try a little of everything. The curry flavors, I have learned after some research, are green at the warmest level, then red, then yellow at the mildest. There are a couple of other varieties that are on the short list to try, because we will be back!

Went back today and had the green curry with chicken and it was awesome! The Tiger Tear Salad was a bit too heavy with garlic for me but it was also delicious!!! Will co.e back next time Im in the area.

Never disappointed when we order or eat in here. Staff are super nice and accommodate my want for extra veggies and sauce with any of the meals I order. We try to date night here at least once a month.

I've been through this town quite a bit in the last 20 years. Those familiar know, this town is notorious for a lot, lack of quality eateries definitely makes the list, as well as, keeping quality businesses in town. That said, this place is a jewel. Great service and delectable food are two things I was hopeful for when dining here, but never thought would actually manifest. I would suggest local foodies patronize this place asap, as they are lucky this caliber of cuisine has finally arrived.

My husband and I have been regulars at Thai Pepper ever since it opened and we are never disappointed. The food is always fresh with large portions that are made to order. Their vegetables are cooked so perfectly that I always ask for extra. Service is great and the owners are so very friendly and kind. Glad we are locals so we can enjoy this little gem of a restaurant whenever we like.

We did takeout from here and it was piping hot. Excellent flavor with generous portions. The workers were great and even brought us some water when they saw we were eating in the parking lot. (during covid19) We will definitely be eating here again.

Very pleasantly surprised to find a good Thai place in this little town. Open during the virus for take out. People were over the top friendly even though the place was BUSY! Got the order fast and made as requested. Only possible complaint was that I go nuclear with spice but still had enough zing to make me happy and I highly recommend trying it.

We tried Thai Pepper today and it was delicious. We ordered two sides and two entrees at very reasonable prices. The waitress was attentive. The fried dumplings are delicious. My red curry was slightly spicy and full of fresh veggies. I highly recommend and can’t believe I can get this quality of Thai food in Harrisonville.

Update: I love this restaurant. It is, hands down, the best restaurant in Harrisonville. The food is AMAZING, and the owners and staff are so nice. I can not recommend Thai Pepper enough.

The food here is great in flavor and quality! You get a lot of food for the price. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating to whatever you need. The first time I came in I bought an iced thai tea and as we were waiting on our to-go order they gave me a refill which was very nice, at other restaurants they would not have done that. We came back the next day to have Christmas lunch and we really enjoyed ourselves. Definitely try even if you haven't had Thai food before 😊
