Yes, they are open and I am so glad they are back. They just moved to the Paddock Hills Plaza Shopping Center, by the big post office on Lindbergh!
I finally got back to them earlier this week, and, as always, the food is fantastic. The new place looks great, and everything was clean and bright.
I don’t know the proper name for what I had, but it was glass noodles with vegetables and chicken, and it was not spicy, which is just how I wanted it. It was great.
My friend had the red curry with beef, which came out beautifully plated, and he said it was really spicy and really good.
The vegetables in both dishes were crispy, but not overly crispy, and the meats were tender. Everything was super fresh!
Oh, I also got the Thai iced tea, which is always excellent.
I want to start off by stating I love this restaurant. The food here is good and it is a regular restaurant in my rotation, or at least use to be. Today, my mother called in to place our order as she believes it to be easier than ordering online. While she was on the phone, I priced the food for us and the total for 4 entrees and adding chicken came up to $56.46. She ordered over the phone and the owner did not tell us the total, I had him ask and it amounted to $63.18. I told my mother not place the order and explained to the gentleman that it is cheaper to order online, he said the price is wrong and I told him to not complete it over the phone and it is okay. Instead of choosing a different restaurant, I proceeded to place an order later, online, because I still wanted to eat here, again, I do enjoy the food here. I go to the restaurant to pick up my order and was greeted warmly, I proceeded to let him know I had a pickup order. The owner immediately grabs my order and tells me “Enjoy this because it was priced wrong”. I tell him thank you and I understood then asked is he put the sauce in the bag that I requested in the notes. He tells me no, asks me how many I need, then places them in the bag. As he is placing the sauces on my food he says “ Yes, appreciate it at this price this time”. I smiled kindly, told him thank you and headed home to enjoy my meal. After the ride home where I could process this interaction I find it very off putting and disheartening. I understand the first comment of letting me know he will be making the price the same online, but to tell me to “appreciate” the fact that he gave me the food is very off putting. I could have not order here or argued about the difference in price. I mean in this economy EVERY penny counts! There is about a $7 difference between the online price and the price over the phone so yes it makes sense for one to place an online order. The owner should “appreciate” that I still choose to eat at this restaurant after the price discrepancy, I could have simply gave another restaurant my $57. Overall, it is disappointing to say after the interaction, because this is not the first I’ve dealt with a bad attitude here, I will no longer be a patron. I hope you appreciated my business this one last time.
Ordered duck and noodles and crab ragoon with strawberry milk tea. They never put my duck and noodles in the bag. Got all the way home and I gave a tip

Raggedy Inside, Tofu Pad Thai was dry, tasteless, tough texture, cashier rude and was unapologetic. Entryway looks dirty as well.

My favorite spot. Family owned. Good food.
Went here for the first time tonight. The food and Boba is great!! So happy I found this spot! The food is very flavorful!
Great experience. The chicken in my curry was very bland and dry. But everything else was good
Excellent!
I wish they would had posted on Google or there Website that they will be closed.
I loveeeee their curry noodles, super fresh and delicious. Great value price.
Very good Thai food
Food always great. Chicken overcooked sometimes
delicious food.... good service.... owner is cheerful and sociable.... I really like it
Best Thai food I have in St. Louis 👍👍
Maybe this place used to be good, but that is sadly no longer true. My girlfriend and I ordered some rather simple dishes and were incredibly underwhelmed by them. They burned my curry fried rice and didn't put any curry or curry powder in it. The drunken noodles looked like it had been made with pasta. It was a massive waste of $50.
The storefront seating is okay, but the food is wonderful, carryout orders are ready when promised, and the gentleman usually at the counter is personable.
Wouldn’t recommend boba here, flavor is off (tried both the mango lychee and taro). Boba balls are clumped together. Shaved ice in drink?
It's the only Thai restaurant I'll go to! Tom yum shrimp noodles, so good!
Delicious and great dine-in service.

The best pad thai in the area
First time here and I'm so glad we found it!! We had the Penang curry and cashew stir fry. Both were delicious!
Great food and service, highly recommended
My pineapple fried rice was good. I felt like it was missing something. I've had better. My aunt enjoyed her tofu drunken noodles. Nice guy at the counter.
The food is okay at best. The portions sizes are very good though for the noodle dishes. If you just want edible food that kinda sorta taste like Thai food, this is your spot! If you want good Thai food this is not the place for you. Tired it twice to be sure.
Perhaps the worst Thai food I’ve eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot. St Louis thinks this is good? Wow. Not gonna even give it to my dog.
Always good & fast service!
Owner gets frazzled when staff messes up orders..He ignores when you have a complaint..been going there for years and when store location moved quality of service was lost..food quality still good but workers are inadequate and owner doesn't want to replace orders when mistakes are made...will not return..the day I had to return and have my order redone they were dealing with another replacement order due to worker's error..will not return!
We were regulars when we lived in this neighborhood. Good food and prices.
Simply LOVE this restaurant!! The food is ALWAYS GREAT, and the staff are ALWAYS friendly. Good prices for great food!
The food was amazing! Authentic and perfectly spiced. Even ordered items not on the menu and they accommodated us. Probably the best Tom Kha in the region. Don't let the location run you off...I almost skipped going in because of that and it would have been my loss. Definitely headed back soon!
Great food.
So so good i had to return the next day for more..had the red curry...yum
Love this place
Food was delicious. Great customer service!
Small and cozy. Food and service very good. Friendly staff.
I LOVE how they use fresh spices in delicious entrees (and appetizers!) that are prepared by an authentic chef! The food is presented so elegantly. This is my FAVORITE Asian food in St. Louis, MO! FABULOUS Customer Service with a Smile; every time I take someone to this place, they become addicted to this fusion. I don't blame them, this Thai food ROCKS!!!!!
Delicious spot! A must visit if you want amazing and authentic Thai!
Super good! Food came out fast. The pad Thai and red curry were great. Would highly recommend.
So tasty and love the new location. Hadn't visited in while, but glad to see it's still offering great dishes! We had ref curry chicken and pad Thai. Both were so good. Staff were very friendly ☺️
The finest take out in all of St. Louis, bar none.
Everything is delicious, you can not go wrong with whatever decision you make.
When we moved here 2 years ago and found this place it was great. But it has really gone down hill this year. The last 2 times the pad thai has had a burnt taste to it. The food itself wasnt burnt it just tasted like something had been burned in a pan prior to cooking and they just scraped it out and kept using the pan with burnt food on the bottom of it. This time I actually had some really hard black flecks in my pad thai. Guess its time to find another thai place.
Update Friday 5 Aug 2022: Several years, a pandemic and a move to a new location later... Disappointed. Ordered Fried Shrimp Rolls - great; Tom Kha Gai (Coconut Chicken Soup) - never arrived until the meal was over; & Kaeng Khiao Wan Neua (Green Curry w/Beef) - the curry was tasty but thin and lacking the richness of enough coconut milk. However, the beef in it was execrable - tough, old, poorly and too-thickly sliced and just short of "gamy" off-tasting. Also, they did the "substitute peas for tiny Thai eggplants (which are readily available in St. Louis)" routine - but I'm kind of used to that with Thai restaurants. We were there early and there were no other diners when we ordered. I mentioned the soup being missing when I was almost done, i.e., "cancel" but they brought it out when it was too late to worry about. Opening it at home later the soup was not very close to the "real thing" - again not enough coconut milk and lacking any lemongrass or galangal (kha) taste whatsoever. It looked like a bad marriage of yum & kha soups without cilantro. The good news? They have kept their prices down better than just about any place in the area. Unfortunately, it appears at the expense of not using coconut milk (or other pricier ingredients) any more (which is kind of essential in Thai cuisine). So sorry, but they've traveled too far from "authenticity" and we will be traveling elsewhere for Thai henceforth.
This place is schizophrenic - sometimes it's awesome & sometimes it's just passable. They do NOT recognize what most people expect in pad see ew - if you order it, you'll get a pad woon sen noodle dish. Staff was nice & friendly; service is prompt.
This place has a better selection of food and it comes out steaming.. The bubble tea is super great..
The food at this place is delicious. New location, same delicious dishes. On my last visit I ordered the Stir Fried Garlic with beef, level 4 spice. This has been one of my favorite dishes for years. They don’t have any delivery options (that I know of), so I have to make the trip to pickup or dine in, but it’s worth the trip.
The food can be ordered with published spice levels from level 0-5, with level 0 = No Spice, and 5 = Very Hot Spice. They also have a unpublished list that allows for spicier dishes. For example, level 10 spice can be ordered for someone who is more adventurous.
Simply Thai is my absolute favorite food spot. i've been a supportive customer for almost 5 years, was so depressed when they closed to move. they always get me right, food is delicious
Amazing Thai food! Service was good as well as friendly, and would definitely recommend.
I enjoyed going to this place. They have great Thai food. I enjoy their curry dishes. Reasonably priced, and friendly owner.
Thai owned business!!! 😃
Simply Thai is...simply amazing 👏 delicious food. Great service. But more importantly delicious food 😋
Outstanding Thai food! This is their newer location after moving from their original but don’t let this small footprint restaurant fool you. They make plenty of classic Thai dishes. They are also excellent at catering to any allergies or dietary restrictions!
I absolutely love simply Thai! The lunch specials are always delicious and great deals! The red curry is also one of my go to's. You will not be disappointed here.
The ribs are sooo good and the people are very friendly and very helpful.
This restaurant relocated and I just found out where they moved. Nice new location and the food is still great.
Super delicious pad Thai and fried rice. The portions are big and wonderful. I'll be here often for sure!
Super delicious and affordable Thai food. We had three different appetizers and three entrees and everything was wonderful. Fresh, flavorful ingredients and a good spice level. The restaurant is small, but very nicely decorated. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!
My favorite place to eat! Food is always great; customer service is always great; all around excellent place.
Yes, they are open and I am so glad they are back. They just moved to the Paddock Hills Plaza Shopping Center, by the big post office on Lindbergh!

Oh, I also got the Thai iced tea, which is always excellent.
I just went to Simply Thai's new location. It is so nice! The food was great as well. I'll definitely be going back again now that I know where they are.
Authentic Thai Food in the Area
They have Authentic Dishes that others do not.
I quite enjoyed simply Thai. There was a drive thru and they complied with cov guidelines. All the food was well prepared with powerful flavors. I got the Thai boba tea while I waited and it was amazing. I recommend giving it a shot.
My favorite Thai food restaurant in at louis
Food was great!!
They forgot half our order and had to go back to the restaurant to pick it up. The wings were bland, absolutely zero spice used, and the sauce was ketchup...seriously....the wing sauce is ketchup. This establishment has been on a steady decline since it went up. We were approached by a server, while we were waiting for our order, who walked up and said "What are you waiting here for?" Nothing else...no explanation, nothing. Rude wait staff and sub par food. I won't be going back.
Pretty good
My favorite place to get Pad Thai!
Great tasting food. I've not gone inside, but they have a drive up window. Order at the window. Sometimes, you can wait, and listen to the sizzling of you for being made. Take it home, and enjoy some of the best Thai food I've ever eaten.
Good food
I will drive to St Louis to get Thai food from this restaurant. It is delicious. Tastes just like Thailand. So authentic. I live 2 hours away but will drive here to get their food. Awesome team and customer service. Good is always fresh and hot.
Went with My Guy Food Was Great
Very nice people and the food was really good.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE..... It's children friendly and VERY PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE..... FOOD IS AWESOME😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 & SERVICE IS WONDERFUL...
I'LL BE BACK SOON😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
My absolute favorite Thai spot
Very satisfied
The Food is amazing
We drive 40 minutes to eat at this amazing little spot. The BEST pad thai in the whole St.Louis region. The protions are huge and the food is consistently amazing!
The food is excellent always hot and usually fast. Small family-based staff. Support local.
Best Thai food in Florissant! I go there all the time. Spring rolls are the best!!
Good food. Love Thai spices.
Didn't go there today but I have been there They are very good
I love eating here everything always taste so fresh. I always get fresh spring shrimp rolls & red curry salmon over rice. Delicious...
Worse Thai food I ever!! 🤮. The food had no flavor. We ordered the Thai chicken and it was dry they threw some sauce on top that taste like bbq sauce. Also ordered the Thai fried rice and some type of duck noodle dish. Everything was disgusting! Very unfriendly. I should’ve gone to Pearl’s Cafe, the never disappoint you.
Serving up hot and delicious food.
This is one of my favorite places in Florissant. If you have not gone here yet you should try the fried sweet potatoes, any of their noodle dishes. Also they have really good desserts. What I like about this place is that service is fast and the food is always fresh. If your like me and only eat vegan dishes or dishes with fish and veggies then your in luck, they are always willing to make accommodations and majority of their noodles dishes you can add veggies or tofu instead of meat. Also the fried bananas are a good choice and the basil fried rice is a very good choice. Also they have a salmon dish that is very good as well and fish cakes.
Amazing food as always! Always a great experience
The food is always fresh and plentiful
Food was very good
Foods good...customer service with attitude
Food tastes good and it's affordable.
Very good authentic food, decently priced. It took a little while to get the food, but it was definitely worth the wait! Large portions.
A clean, intimate dinning area greets you when you walk in, although many people choose to carry out as well. My food is always fresh and seasoned well. They provide an extensive menu (with pictures) and can cater to any level of spicey preference. Vegetarians will also find a number of dishes to chose from. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I come here with family and friends. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Duck Curry everytime...hits the spot!! The best hands down!
I had to call 10 times to get my order in, they kept putting me on hold and then I guess she forgot about me. Also we get the same thing everytime but somehow they keep messing it up! We like the food but the customer service sucks.
EVERYTHING about this place is excellent! The customer service, the food, the portions, the atmosphere.. everything!
Absolutely delicious! Tom Kha rocks! Big bowl, rich flavor, a little spicy ..a perfect medley of flavors dance on your tongue and make you want more! Fried spring rolls were good. I may go back tomorrow! 😋👍
This was me and my friend 1st time eating Thai food. It was spicy as expected and really good. The waitress did an awesome job helping us find a good dish and drink.
The food used to be good. Whenever you order carry out, somehow, someway they always short change you. Last 2 times I ordered the cucumber salad, there were only a couple of tiny pieces in it. I won't be going back anytime soon
The food is good. They do have a habit of not fully heating up their proteins. You meat will be hot but then you'll feel a cold spot. Meaning they dont cook it to order. Its prepped for orders. Also the kids they use are nice and I think its awesome they give young school kids jobs, BUT, they need to train them in the art of Customer Service! They are often too loud in the back. Slow to greet you, be able to answer questions, and you have to tra k them down for refills!!!
Simply Thai is simply the best. I moved away from Florissant, but drive back there for this restaurant. #43 Pahd Ba Mee Kee Maow is so flavorful with just enough of a spicy kick to it. I have not found this dish made like this at any other Thai restaurant.
I had the Cashew Chicken Lunch Special. I had it to go.
Portion wise was ok. White rice, spring roll and Butterfly. Butterfly was over fried but spring roll was delicious. Sauce for the two was nice just hardly had any for one.
Cashew Chicken was the reason for the score. It was blah. Maybe 8 cashews and no spice. 10+ scoops of their hot chili didn't help.
If I am in the area, I may not try again. They had public restrooms but a little dirty. It was worth trying.
This beautiful restaurant is so amazing. The food was very fresh, authentic and delicious. So grateful for all the vegetarian options on the menu. My server Tre was very informative and attentive to the flavor that I was looking for. Tre my server was incredible great. Thanks for suggesting to keep my spicy request at a level 4. It was just the amount of heat I needed. I will definitely be back for more delicious Thai and great service.
I ordered Thai Vegetables Fried rice with Level 4
Which is Very Hot. Just the way I like it. I also had the Vegetables Puff - Pastry stuffed with MUSHROOMS, Potatoes, Onions and Carrots with Savory Spice
Order of Vegetable Spring Tolls.
Have eaten in and had carry out. Food and service always great. Carry out orders are always correct.
Food was good and fast
I would give zero stars if possible. I love this restaurant. The staff, the food, the atmosphere- all amazing. But the owner....
The other night he assaulted my friend. Called him derogatory names, punched him, and was an overall racist and bigot. I understand that this may not be a reflection of the business itself, but if he is the owner then I cannot condone patronage there. I am sad to say I will never dine there again due to his awful and hatred filled actions.
The food is good but 16$ for a single order of crab rangoon and chicken pad thai is expensive. And it doesnt even have peanuts in it and is sweet.
Delicious food. Friendly and efficient staff.
This was our first time and it was a very good experience. The food gave us a change from what we were used to. I am glad we tried it. #ExperienceThai
The food is wonderful--THANKS to the cook Anthony Duron. What more could a girl want? A smokin HOT chef cookin up something tasty in the kitchen. Mr. Duron you are gonna be cookin when I throw this hot meat on you.
I Love you yesterday today & tomorrow!!!
I can't remember our waitresses' name. On the receipt it says JAM. She was amazing. Very kind, upbeat, and attentive. The food was delicious. Good mixes of spices and great portions. Highly recommended.
It's a really nice place and have really great food it's just that this time the service was just not the best.
Get the chicken puffs.
Great and genuine service and food. My boyfriend is from Thailand and still has yet to find a restaurant in America that can beat Simply Thai in how genuine ans good the food is.
Been going to this place since it first opened. Never been disappointed. Wonderful service and delicious food every time!
Our favorite Thai food place! We love the Thai Butterfly and Chicken Satay, The spaghetti peanut sauce dinner with chicken is a favorite. They will spice up food if you like it hotter.
I have been coming here for years and the food quality and service has severely diminished. The staff is improperly trained and immature. My regular dishes are either now too salty or not modified to my request. It's time to find a new Thai spot in that area.
Update: Still the best Thai in STL! I've been coming to this place for the last 14 years, and they've never disappointed. It's always very clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. I'll be coming here for another 10 years probably. :)
Okay
I ordered Thai vegetable fried rice. It was not very tasty and had a burnt smell to it. I will not return.
Great food and great service!
Favorite thai restaurant..but they are always out of icecream
We were blown away by the quality of the food here. I thought I had eaten good Thai before, but I've never had anything as flavorful as the curries at Simply Thai (especially the Panang curry). Everywhere else I've had Pad Thai, it was greasy; I thought that was just the nature of the dish. Not here - it was light and fresh-tasting. Even the lychee juice was good, not too sweet. Everything far exceeded our expectations.
Ok. Pricey
