I'm giving it a 2 for the food. Service is good and quick. For the food, I had the Nam Tok beef which supposedly is the most popular. Well, I liked the taste but the beef itself was tough! I was told it's due to it being grilled first, but it shouldn't be that tough! You almost need a grinder so your jaw won't hurt from chewing!!! I'd say, it's crossed out on my list to go. BTW, my sister got their seafood hot pot soup and ecept for the shrimp and mussels, the squid was rubbery. I'm so disappointed having waited for so long to finally go there and it was just a let down. Also amount of food you get doesn't reflect the price.

This is my favorite restaurant. The staff are fantastic and the food is the absolute best! I have gone to so many thai restaurants and while ive never had bad food, this restaurant is far superior to any others.

I'll happily call it five stars across the board here, technically I guess there's "better" but you'd be getting into fancy stuff which in my opinion takes away from the enjoyment overall. Stellar place to eat, with friendly staff doing their absolute best. The thai decoration all over the interior can lead you down some fascinating Google rabbit holes during the (always short) wait for your meal, and you'll be too busy eating to talk about what you learned with your date onceit gets there! My wife always gets the Pad Thai, but I'm partial to the Pineapple fried rice and Pad see yu. Appetizers are pretty unique and delicious too, try the fried tofu!

Hands Down Best Thai Food. Clean place, food is over the top good

I had to edit a previous 5 star review that had been on here for years. This was the most horrible experience I have ever had at any establishment. We arrived at 5:45 and we're promptly seated. The couple seated at the same time as us ordered and received their food as did over 8 couples and one large group. My wife and I received our appetizer and that was all. After 90 minutes we had not seen our server or food. When we went to the counter to pay for the appetizers and express our disappointment we were given a sob story until I pointed out all of the people seated after us were served their food and appetizers as well as countless to go orders filled while we sat waiting. People were waiting just as long as us too but only in our small section. Someone needs a new job not in the service industry. We have been coming here for years but no more.

The Crying Tiger dish with extra beef went from 19 dollars last month to 24 dollars this month. For this very reason alone, I will no longer be eating here at all. It was good while it lasted, but no dish is worth 24 dollars.

My favorite Thai place for miles and miles. Always good and all the flavor. Attentive wait staff. 10 out of 10 in my book. S1 and A8 will fix your craving, but have tried almost everything on the menu over the years and never been disappointed.

Who would have ever guessed that Crystal City, MO would have some of the best Thai food that I've ever eaten at. I’ve eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants in the US and Thai Rama in Crystal City, MO is my favorite. Whenever I travel to visit my customers in the area, I always stop into Thai Rama. If I’m in the area for multiple days, all of my lunches are always at Thai Rama. In fact, I usually get the same dish every time I stop in. Whenever I take my coworkers here for lunch, they always have their mind blown by how good the food is. You can get 5 levels of spiciness to each dish. However, there are an extra 2 levels above this that are Thai level spicness. If you want to be sweating through your shirt, then absolutely try it. I personally am not a fan of tofu but the fried tofu at Thai Rama is different and better to the point that I usually get that as an appetizer. The Thai beef jerky appetizer is something unique that I’ve never seen before and is something that needs to be tried if you ever have the chance. The Yellow Curry Noodle Soup is the star. There is some sort of pickled vegetable that they add to it that just ups the flavor and gives the dish that little extra step up.

Some of the best Thai food we have ever had! Always fast, courteous service. Food is definitely worth the price and we eat here often.

Absolutely amazing Thai food at affordable prices

My family ate at Thai Rama for dinner. For alley, my wife and I got the pot stickers (10/10!) and the Crispy Rolls. Both were amazing! For entrees, my daughter and wife shared the Cashew Chicken with rice and I chose the Chicken Fried Rice. Not only is the food tremendous, it all tastes so fresh. I’m not sure what they do differently from other restaurant in the same category, but my family and I never leave feeling bloated and gross. The quality of ingredients and people are as high as can be. Love and will always support this local business!

We love Thai Rama. The restaurant is always clean, the waitstaff friendly and helpful and the food is so good. My favorite when eating out. My husband is an amazing cook so I’m sometimes disappointed when we eat out. He doesn’t cook Thai so it’s always a treat to eat here. My favorite is the yellow curry noodle huge bowl of soup with chicken and extra veggies. The Pad Thai is super delicious and my husband’s favorite is the beef Nam tok. ( I think that’s right, it’s a house special.). All the appetizers are wonderful, you could make a meal out of a couple of those. I highly recommend dining at Thai Rama or grabbing carry out.

All of the dishes our family had were all super fantastic and the portion sizes are nice and large everything was super wonderful. The potstickers are amazing and highly reccomended.

My grandma and I love this place! The food is always so fresh, especially the spring rolls! Even the water tastes fresh out of a cleansed stream! The bathrooms are THE cleanest I have ever seen at any restaurant or business in general. The employees are always so kind and gentle which really adds to the relaxation vibe the restaurant brings. I’ve only been here twice but that is soon to change! Worth the drive!

I got the spicy dumpling and they were nice and warm the spicy sauce was super spicy I loved it. And I got the Thai Rama chicken and rice and it is perfect love the flavor ratio of coconut and peanut I got it at a level 2 spicy and it was the perfect amount for me. Big portion size I had to get a to go box and the staff was nice and quick. Got my food within 10 mins of ordering.

I'm from Iowa and if I ever moved back. I would literally make the 6 and a 1/2 hour trip just to have this food. The people are lovely and friendly as well. And it's well worth the trip and the environment. The food here is healing.

Some of the best Thai food I've had in the St. Louis area. My partner said it was some of the best green curry she has had. I had BBQ pork and dumpling soup that was out of this world. The service was quick and friendly.

We have been eating at This Thai Rama since they were in the old building. And we went tonight and I have to say I was disappointed. I always get the chicken Thia Rama. It was so spicy that I couldn't even eat it. They are pricey as well. We ordered 3 meals and an appetizer and the bill was almost $75.00.

Food is always made fast. They make all of the sauces they use in house and I personally love the curry. Owner is often times there if not always and he is very friendly along with the rest of the staff. If you're looking for comfort food I highly recommend the yellow curry. My other personal favorites are the Nam Tok Beef and Spicy Basil.

I've had a different dish each time (5+) and enjoyed them all. The Thai jerkey is awesome, wish I could bring some back home to WI.

Amendment: I have brought the jerkey home and it travels well!!

Fantastic place. It's a 45 minute drive from home but we always get food to go on our way back from stl. And even after that drive, the food is still hot!

I've eaten at every Thai restaurant between here and STL, and most all of the ones within STL also, and this one is just as good if not better than any of them. Food is ALWAYS on point. Good quality ingredients, good serving sizes and the flavors are as they should be. Pricepoints are on target as well. Staff is always always friendly and helpful, and the owner is very nice e and comes around sometimes to chit chat. It is always clean and well kept. We eat here once a month at least. If I'm in another town and want thai, I will wait to get back to festus to order from here. Highly recommend.

Rice came in the plastic bag, so they cook portions in the plastic, that's not healthy at all. Also they gave me quarter of cabbage, not cut, just piece of cabbage.
