Some days I have to drive to Natchez for work and I never know what to eat when I am there. I discovered Plant Thailand and it changed my whole lunch idea. I ordered the yellow chicken curry super spicy with a Thai tea. The food and drink was amazing!! the space is nice and quite with the best service by far. Now I don't mind driving to Natchez bc at least I know where to eat from now on. 10/10 would recommend if you are in the area.

Great job Grayson, because this place is fresh, delicious, and welcoming! When we visit Natchez again this will be on the top of our list!

Pad Thai was really good and they made is very spice to my expectation today..good cooks and good service

But revisited for a dinner tonight. Ordered dragon noodles, tom yam soup and squid salad. Asked 5 star spicy for the soup and dinner. But was 0 star with poor taste.
When i yold him it's not spicy he was strong saying it's spicy but after talking again at the end to the another waiter found out that the cook didn't hear 5 star.
Regardless I had no option but to eat as they never even bother to ask how the food was..
Nor they try to make it spicy....such a bad dinner and makes me mad that they didn't even seen to care...bad profit and karma will get them back for such an arrogant service..

One of my favorite places in Natchez. I loved eating in or taking out. Lots of locally grown veggies and spices. The atmosphere inside is super cozy!

Beat Thai food we've ever had (including in Thailand!). Great atmosphere, Denzel was helpful and outstanding. For us, it was definitely "the meal to remember" on our 5000 mile road trip through the Southern states. One issue is that it's closing time was 8pm. Fortunately, we got there in time.

I order sushi from here and it came with a salad and I bought extra wasabi just my preference and it didn’t come with any dressing for the salad or any soy sauce no sauce at all and it j ruined my meal for me what am I gonna do eat dry dry food

I LOVE Planet Thailand! The atmosphere is very laid back, the service is good, and the sushi is unbeatable in Natchez. Great place for lunch or dinner.

A group of us meet once monthly for Saturday noon lunch. We eat at Planet Thailand at least 9 out of 12 months per year. We mainly order the sushi which is out of this world delicious and we have never had a bad meal or experience. We occasionally get a curry, rice or noodle dish and each and every one is mouthwatering. The service is fast, orders are accurate with lots of attention to our picky details. The food is superb and is something we really look forward to every month.

My main complaint was the wait. In a restaurant with only 3 tables seated, we waited nearly 1-1/2 hours for our 3 dishes - general chicken, chicken in red curry, and chicken fried rice. Our waitress was running her backside off. However, the kitchen staff (at least 2 men) were on their phones the entire time we were there. This is why our food took forever to come out. I pointed out that the "wait times for an empty restaurant" was a common repeating complaint about the restaurant on Google, and the waitress apologized profusely. It wasn't her fault, she was the only one working it appeared.
The curry was okay, though the viscosity was off and while the heat was good the flavor was flat. The fried rice had a good flavor but was oddly sweet...very sweet. Either someone used sugar or Jamie Oliver was back there using honey, but the taste was off putting. The general chicken was spot on. Not too sweet and not too gooey from lots of starch. The coating was still crisp and the sauce didn't make it stodgy. The sauce was made with a base of maybe sweet Thai chili, soy and hoisen instead of just jarred sweet and sour sauce with hoisen added, like many places. So I have to give props on that.
The restaurant is quaint and clean. The bathroom is not so much, and it makes me concerned for the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Not top stars by any measure, but good general tso chicken, though.

Friend of mine went in here for lunch, but unfortunately I couldn't tag along due to a work schedule. We've both been here many times and enjoy the food and the staff. This negative review purely is reflective of the manager that was on duty 10/14. I asked my friend if he could bring me back a Thai Tea (theirs is my favorite it is so so good) but with no ice so it wouldn't melt on his walk back to the office. He asked the waitress if he could order it with no ice, she was very kind btw, and she went to ring it up and the manager, who was in ear shot said "if he doesn't want ice it's gonna cost him extra." in a very nasty tone. It's a shame that such a nice, local business wants to try and make an extra buck over ICE. The principle of it is, my friend paid for it regardless, but the nasty attitude was uncalled for. Keep the wonderful food and staff, find a better manager who actually likes to engage with their customers.

FYI THEY CHARGE A FEE FOR NO ICE IN THEIR DRINKS. MANAGER IS VERY RUDE ABOUT CUSTOMER REQUESTS IN EAR SHOT OF CUSTOMERS. Foods good though

Honestly this has been the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant they gave my friend a menu and I feel like because we're different from everybody two women myself being black lesbian and my best friend being Caucasian and straightwe honestly been sitting here 18 minutes no drinks no service TWO PEOPLE AND ONE DAMN MENU... DO NOT RECOMMEND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I feel guilty for not taking a picture because the presentation let you know this is about to be incredible. The steame gyoza appetizer was also the best.

I've been going to Planet Thai for a few years now. Every time the food has been pretty great (aside from the Gyoza, which has consistently been a little rough). The restaurant is nice and clean, and the only place that I can fault them is how long the service takes at times. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but I've gone here many times where the wait has been excessive (both in food preparation and service times in general). However, after working in food service, I understand and don't fault them too greatly for it.
Overall, Planet Thai is a great restaurant, and it's hard to fault the dining or setting. Very very tasty food and very nice staff (I can explicitly think of one waiter we've had and he's always been super great to us, making our meal that much better).

Interesting place but not the best food or service.

Way over priced. I spent $80 on lunch. Sushi was not that good. General tso chicken was the only thing I liked. Crawfish fried rice tasted as though everything was frozen and dumped in a wok. Didn't get steamed rice and was specifically asked which rice I preferred. The 2 Employees I encountered were fabulous. They saved this place from 0 star rating. Cutest little setup totally excited to eat sushi for the 1st time in my home town.

Honesty, my wife and I are hooked when it comes to Planet Thailand. I do not have a single complaint. They can get busy at times (I mean, yea, the food is amazing), but it's definitely worth the wait. The staff are more than friendly and accommodating. The food is always fresh. This restaurant is by far my favourite place to eat in town. We mostly do take-out, but dining in is very nice too. Amazing atmosphere.

I've ordered from Planet Thailand several times prior to this time. The food is always good. I appreciate the selection because I do not eat meat. But Whoever is in the kitchen should really slow down and pay attention to orders. I am very happy that I am not an extreme vegetarian in that I will eat foods that have touched meat. However, this last time I ordered a large veggie soup, there were hug chunks of chicken in my order. Good because I could just take it out. Bad because I had to sit there and take it out. Slow down. I've had credits on door dash because the people preparing the food don't slow down enough and pay attention. Every one doesn't eat meat.

Pretty good Thai would actually compare to real Thai

DO NOT EAT HERE! I ordered just regular chicken lo mein and there was so much grease that it soaked through the styrofoam box and into the paper bag and was seeping through the bag as well. The food was no where near edible.

Amazing. The pineapple fried rice was incredible, and the sushi was better in both quality and price than many places in New Orleans. If we come back to Natchez, we will be coming back for sure.

The place has been in business for about 17 years we were told. We got a gyoza appetizer, Choo Chee (Jumbo shrimp in red curry) and 2 rolls, a 911 and Anna. (911 pictured). ALL were delicious.

Went to PT to celebrate Uncle and Aunts anniversary and had the worst experience ever. First of all, we called to let them know ahead of time we were going to be a large party. We sat at the table and didn’t have menus for everyone nor silverware. We asked for waters and only half the table got them. I ordered an alcoholic drink and was told twice that they didn’t have the proper mix for either drink I ordered. The waiter was very unprofessional. He sat down to take out orders, stood at the opposite end of the table to take orders so we were having to yell out orders and he still messed things up. He messed up the drink orders and had a hard time taking the orders in an organized fashion. To top it all off, my aunt had a hair in her food and the chef in the back not only refused to comp her meal she argued that she didn’t have to do that. There were no hair nets worn by any of the kitchen staff and we were told that this is their common practice.

This is THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced and will never go back to this place. What could have been a beautiful evening, turned out the be a disaster.

I’m forced to give them at least one star but they don’t deserve any.

We dined here for my parent's anniversary and received terrible service! Our server was nice but was completely confused about the menu and clueless about how to serve. We called ahead and made reservations for our party. They were understaffed and unprepared. My mother found a hair in her food and the owner refused to comp the meal and was completely rude. We were very disappointed with our experience and will not dine here again.

My wife and I popped in and placed a to go order. Our order consisted of 3 tuna rolls. Those 3 rolls took over an hour to make. When we arrived there were only 2 customers in the place. Roughly 30 mins into our wait that amount grew to 10-12, and at our departure there were approxiamtely 15-20. Our tuna rolls were made with nori, rice and tuna. Just 3 ingredients, but those 3 simple ingredients took 60 + mins to make into 3 rolls.

While we waited several people came in and placed to go orders, all of those people received their order before ours. I've yet to comprehend how that floats as good customer service. We were not rude, we did not yell or argue, yet we still received terrible service.

We were hungry and had a long trip home so we waited the duration. As soon as we recieved our order we left. Unfortunately with the prolonged wait time; the rolls were exactly what i expected them to be, terrible!

I wish the experience had been better however, it just wasn't. I know for certain the next time i visit Natchez, I will not visit Planet Thailand.

I hope Planet Thailand is able to sort these customer service issues out. I wish them the best.
