The Pad Thai is the most flavorful in the city. It is more “wet” than “dry” in terms of the sauce on it — which I love. It is tangy and and umami. The house curry is the other unsung hero at Thai Tasty — deliciousness in a bowl!

I always recommend this place to Jackson newcomers. So worth a try!

For three years, I have been obsessed with Thai Tasty’s food! My top three addictions from their menu are; Green Curry, Pad Thai, and Basil Fried Rice. Everything is good, though! My husband and I would eat there multiple times a week during the busyness of wedding planning, Beyond the food, Le and his mother are such kind and generous people that it’s been a total joy to get to know them better through returning again and again and again for food. We even had them cater our rehearsal dinner!

My boyfriend and I tried Thai for the first time awesome visit!!! Our meals were very tasty.. The Drunken Noodles were great!! We also received ice cream at the end our visit...

Easily the best Thai restaurant in Mississippi! All the appetizers we got for the table were incredible, and the yellow curry I got was my favorite I’ve had anywhere. The moment I walked in I noticed how impeccably clean the whole place was, and the service was amazing. Seriously, our server was SO sweet and charming and so attentive. I wished I lived closer so I could come here all the time.

Found this little gem while traveling and wish it were closer to home. Casual dining with great food and reasonable prices. We got our food medium spiced and it was great flavor without being too spicy. Highly recommend!

For a restaurant in Mississippi I must award 4 stars. If I was in other nonbackwards states I would have to award 3 stars. The food is good. Portions could be more generous. Staff is helpful. I will definitely patronize them in the future.

My dad and I used to enjoy this place for the food but the service is abysmal. One instance they added extra to a tip, big enough that the bank called us about it to make sure it was correct. Secondly, the server over the phone snapped at us for taking too long to order when we had everything ready. The food is great but the service needs major work.

I order tom yum soup but I got onion soup with shrimp..really dispointed..lucky my wife order beef noodle and taste okay

I love this place. I eat here twice a week. Food is always good, flavorful, spicy, large portions. Nice, welcoming staff. Thai tea is great, drunkin noodles, phad Thai, curry, soup, apps; I've never had a bad experience. A simple restaurant, but very clean and functional.

This is the best Thai food in town. If you want take-out, it comes very hot so that it is not cold by the time you get home. The dining room is not large, but at dinner, most of the business seems to be take out, so that is not a problem.

This is such a wonderful, gem of a restaurant. The food is delicious and the people are friendly. On my last visit, we had to wait a while for our food and the owner brought out ice cream for my kids while we waited. And it, like the food, was delicious. Creamy vanilla with salty peanuts. Be sure to try the Thai fried rice!

Have been eating at Thai Tasty every week or two for about two years. It is a small, friendly, unassuming family run restaurant with reliably excellent food. Our favorite dishes include Tofu Tod, Spring Rolls, Cashew Chicken, Traditional Stir Fry, Orange Chicken, Traditional Fried Rice, and Yellow Curry. We are more familiar with Chinese and Japanese food than with Thai food, but this restaurant quickly became a favorite for us.

They were super friendly as soon as I walked in the door! I ordered the shrimp pad Woon sen with vegetables. It was AMAZING!!!! Great flavor and nice large shrimp!

Pricing is reasonable especially for Lunch Specials. Restaurant appeared CLEAN & I LIKED the efforts at Thai Decor. I will try them AGAIN!

This place is a small hole in the wall of a run down shopping center but the food is amazing. Certainly the best and most authentic Thai food in Jackson and could rival that of other metro areas. The service is good too and thr prices are reasonable. Eat in or take out, it is good either way. I recommend either the red curry or the pad thai.

This place has a solid beef salad dressing, the best in Jackson I'd have to say. I come here just for that, I've had their other dishes too which were good, but their beef salad is on point.

Although it's not the most impressive atmosphere the food is absolutely worth it....jacksonians may miss Thai house which recently closed, and rightfully so, but in my humble opinion it is only because they haven't tried Thai tasty....the gang phaet which is coconureally milk with red curry, bamboo shoots, pork, and green bell pepper with white rice is my favorite but it is hard to go wrong no matter what you crave.....

Literally the best Thai food in town!

While some locals love Thai Tasty, we found the sub-par food to be too sweet and over-seasoned.

During our visit, the empty shop reeked of disinfectant -- not a good start. My pad Thai tasted primarily of sugar; my husband's basil chicken, apart from a liberal application of black pepper, had no flavor at all. Fact is, no amount of sugar or table pepper can make up for low-quality ingredients -- and if it weren't immersed in sauces, the tough B-grade chicken here would have no flavor at all.

We suspect the owners have adapted vaguely Thai recipes to local tastes by ramping up the sugar and substituting black pepper for peppers more often used in Thai cuisine. Apparently, it's a good strategy: locals are posting rave reviews. But if you crave authentic Thai flavors, Thai House, just down the street, is the real deal.

First Thai restaurant I've ever wanted to go back to!

My husband and I got there a little after they opened. The staff was friendly and very attentive, the food was marvelous! (Pad Thai with chicken) Sadly they were out of Crab Rangoon, but their Curry Puffs made up for it! Great place, will return for more soon!!

Crab Rangoon had pepper in it and my tofu fried rice has sugar in it. Very nasty!

Just came here today. Ordered the Pad Thai. It wasn't very good (too sweet, no spice, and soft/mushy beef), so after a few bites, I requested to exchange my dish for something else that was the same price. Initially, the guy said I could exchange it. Then, the waitress came about 5 minutes later and said that I would have to pay for the dish I wanted to return AND the dish I wanted to get as an exchange. What? Why would I pay for a dish I didn't like and add on extra money for another dish? Never experienced that in the restaurants I patronize, although I rarely send food back. I told them to forget about it. I paid for my original order. I will not be returning, and I will not recommend them to family or friends in the area because of their poor service and food. I truly hope this move was totally worth it for them.

I went there one time and i have to say, the food was really good. I used to live in California, so my expectations are high, and they didn't disappoint with the Beef Panang. If only i can find someone that makes beef Bi Ka Pow, and Fried Fish in Chili sauce, then we'll be in business.

Please don't judge this place by the strip mall this restaurant is in. The mall has many closed businesses in it. Soon as you walk in you can see the restaurant is clean and well light. The waitress was very patient and attentive with all my many questions. Once I placed my order my food arrived quickly and hot.

Everything was excellent, if not for the appearance of the strip mall this place would easily receive five stars

Really fantastic restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh, cooked to order, and delicious. What more could you ask for? I'm a huge fan of the various curries they offer. The texture is not too super creamy, which I think some places, especially chains, sort of get wrong, and I really appreciate the appropriate texture at Thai Tasty. I'll be eating there later, in fact!!

I ordered the Goong Sarong aka "crispy prawns" and it was beautifully presented but didn't stand out too much as a dish. The dipping sauce is indeed sweet but it paired well.

I have to get Tom Kha at any Thai place I go to. It's my pad thai (which is the plate some people use to judge a Thai restaurant), which I never really order since it's usually on the sweeter side for me. There was more coconut milk than I was used to but still good.

Finally, the Pad See Iew with beef was a giant plate that I couldn't finish but smelled and tasted equally delicious. I always overestimate myself, but this made for an awesome lunch and I skipped dinner. Definitely recommend Thai Tasty over Thai House, but it's on par with Fusion (which isn't original Thai food in my opinion).

I ate there on a weekday night. The place was very quite, which I enjoyed. It was well-lit and I like to read when I dine alone.

I had fried dumplings and pad thai. Both quite good.

Downside - no beer is sold here. The waitress told me I could walk across the parking lot and buy some at the gas station.

Price was a little higher than I expected, but well worth it for those of us who love thai food and live in Mississippi.
